1950 JOHN DEERE M TRACTOR 1950 JOHN DEERE M TRACTOR

1950 JOHN DEERE M TRACTOR

Lot #102 (Sale Order 2 of 173)

Introduced in 1947 the John Deere Model M was the first John Deere with a vertical valve-in-head engine. Considered a one-row tractor the M used only regular gasoline. It was the first Deere with position-responsive hydraulic control of integral implements and a Quick-Tatch arrangement for rear-mounted tools. The John Deere Model M was also the first Deere with an adjustable steering wheel. And for the first time with Deere tractors the side-mounted belt pulley was omitted. A rear-mounted belt pulley was an option. The rugged 2-cylinder distributor ignition engine produced 20.45 observed belt horsepower on the Nebraska test. Rather surprising considering the tractors slim trim relatively small size. Its styling common to John Deere tractors of that period was sometimes referred to as clean-cut styling. The engine and powertrain of the M were incorporated into three variations in 1949. One was the MT a tri-cycle 2-row version the MI a highway mowing tractor and the MC the first Deere-designed crawler and the beginning of Deeres industrial yellow line of today. The Model M was a breath of fresh air for farmers back in the days of its release and it remains one of the most famous John Deere tractor models to date. This one has had an extensive cosmetic and minor mechanical restoration. It features all-new tires gauges and rebuilt electrical components. Factory options include lights shade umbrella and rear-mounted tool bar cultivator. 4-speed manual transmission. **SOLD ON BILL OF SALE ONLY**

The Model 30 was a new design although it had the same Continental engine and Twin-Power feature as the Model 101. The engine was a heavy-duty industrial L-head 162ci 4-cylinder engine that utilized gasoline and produced 26.24hp at the drawbar and 34.18hp at the belt pulley. This engine operated at regular speed of 1500 rpm with a faster speed of 1800 rpm speed available for belt work and road gear. The Model 30 could be purchased with a distillate engine. The color of the engine was changed from black to red in 1948. It was a popular tractor and sold well. Standard equipment included a 5-speed transmission a starter and generator a Velvet-Ride seat fenders and a muffler. Options included a hydraulic lift a PTO lights a single front wheel a high-arch adjustable wide front axle and extra-long axles to achieve a 112 wide tread an hour meter a belt pulley rear-wheel weights and front wheel weights. This example has had an extensive cosmetic and minor mechanical restoration. It features all-new tires gauges wiring harness and electrical components. There is nothing broken or missing worn or torn and no fluid leaks. Owner manuals are with the car. 1969 CHEVROLET CORVETTE 350/350 CONVERTIBLE

Lot #169 (Sale Order 53 of 173)

With the first year of C3 production complete Chevrolet engineers took the opportunity to make a few subtle changes for the 1969 model year. Most of them were minor fixing small things customers didnt like such as relocating the ignition to the steering column or integrating the push-button on the door into the pull handle. The most obvious change however was the addition of more power. Engine options ranged from the base level 350/300hp all the way to the legendary 427 rated at 435hp.This 1969 Convertible features its original 350/350hp small-block engine backed by the original 4-speed manual transmission. Having had only one repaint this car is largely unrestored and original. It came equipped from the factory with power brakes tilt and telescoping steering column P02 wheel covers and a removable hardtop (included in the sale). The car comes with its original Tank Sticker owners manual and Protect-O-Plate. Finished in its original Can-Am White with red interior this is a truly great example of an original unrestored Corvette.

Lot #245 (Sale Order 145 of 173)

This features its original A-code 289ci engine with factory Palomino Pony interior automatic transmission air conditioning power steering disc brakes and center console. A complete ground-up restoration was performed on this well-optioned rust-free Arizona car with all of its original factory sheet metal. With just two previous owners this 1965 Mustang has spent its entire life in Southern Arizona. This car was driven daily from 1965 until 1981 where it was parked and stored in the owners garage for 32 years. The current owner performed this incredible ground-up restoration. This entire build was performed solely by its current owner where it was completely disassembled and the entire car was stripped to the bare metal. Virtually every nut bolt wire and component of this car has been reconditioned to better-than-new standards. This Mustang was virtually rust-free and had no body damage anywhere on the car after being stripped of all its paint. The car comes complete with a photo album documenting the entire build process showing the car in its bare metal form through completion. The undercarriage of this car is fully detailed and finished in the red oxide factory color. The exterior paint was finished in the original Prairie Bronze color then cut and buffed to perfection. The original vinyl roof was removed and painted in Wimbledon white to give it a beautiful two-tone look. Before the all-new factory Pony Interior was installed the entire floor of this car was lined with Dynamat sound deadening and insulation. The 15 Magnum 500 wheels and BFGoodrich tires add to the look of this incredible build. Proving its Southern Arizona heritage this car will come with all the original vehicle registration slips from every year it was licensed from 1968 until it was put into storage in 1981.
