WW2 German Wehrmacht Russian Liberation Army/Latvia Volunteer M36 Tunic-Signals Officer-Named Lot #30a (Sale Order 32 of 270) WW2 period signals officer M36 tunic for rank of Leutnant-This is a period converted M36 Waffenrock parade/dress tunic. Very unique in the fact that the silver finish pebbled buttons have been replaced with subdued finish buttons. Pockets have also been added using period HBT material. The breast eagle is very heavy flat wire bullion and is the first one of these heavy silver flat wire eagle variations we have handled either loose or on a tunic. The left sleeve has 2 theater made volunteer patches. A printed version POA and a hand stitched 1st pattern Latvian volunteer patch . The interior pocket has a tailor tag which is named and 1940 dated. In extremely fine collectible conditrion with just a few signs of minor moth presence.

RAD Hewer for Enlisted With Hanger-- Unit Marked Lot #38 (Sale Order 42 of 270) Stag handle grips with unit markings of Ma1008 on the cross guard and scabbard throat. Blade does show heavy age spotting and is maker marked with the early double oval Eickhorn logo. Scabbard shows finish loss to the black painted areas and is missing the two bottom fitting screws. Leather tear drop hanger with metal clip. Although not standard issue for this edged weapon this is how it came from veteran's estate and seems to have been an adequate alternative to the original type hanger.

German Army Officer Dagger with Scabbard Lot #40 (Sale Order 44 of 270) Bakelite grip has toned to a deep butterscotch color. Fittings have lost a lot of the original finish. Double edge bright steel blade has what appears to be heat staining and is maker marked ALCOSO. Steel scabbard has a couple of small dents and is missing both hanger bands. Dagger appears to be WW2 period but possibly a post war parts souvenir dagger.

Late War G43 Semi Automatic 8mm Rifle-Walther Matching Numbers-Sniper Scope Bracket-Sling Lot #52 (Sale Order 56 of 270) In excellent condition! Scarce matching number example-Serial number is 2243h which is stamped on the bolt action and on the receiver. It is also stamped with the letters AC for the firm of Walther and has the numbers 44 for the date 1944. Original sniper scope mounting bracket is Waffenampt stamped. Original leather sling is in excellent condition. Metal parts still retain nearly all of the original finish and bore shows very little wear and all actions function smoothly. There are no import stampings. Original wood stock is crack free and has a stenciled 4 digit depot number on the underside of the stock. This rifle in excellent collectible condition and would be extremely hard to upgrade...If you only wanted one example of this desirable and collectible rifle, this is the one! FFL and/or C & R license required for transfer.

Late War G43 Semi-Auto 8mm Rifle-1944 Walther Lot #54 (Sale Order 58 of 270) Nice solid example. Late war markings on the receiver. AC for the firm of Walther and is serial numbered 7335j on the receiver with the 2 digit date code of 44. The bolt cap appears to have been smoothly machined and is Waffenampt stamped. All metal parts show finish wear. There is not an import stamp evident. The butt of the stock has been shortened and a rubber recoil has been added. The lower wood stock appears to be in original finish state with the top wood cap having a crack and a darker finish. The bore is still fairly strong. The action functions smoothly. A very good collectible example. FFL and/or C & R license required for transfer.

Early War K98 8mm Bolt Action Rifle Lot #56 (Sale Order 60 of 270) Rifle in original untouched bring back condition. 1940 dated with non matching numbers, There are Waffenampt stampings all over-Original finish on the metal parts does show period wear. The action functions smoothly and bore is still in good condition. Wood stock shows some nicks and a couple of small gouges. A very good example in untouched original condition right out of the woodwork from WW2 vet. estate. Serial number on the receiver is 5611 and is the serial number that will be used to reference FFL and/or C& R transfer.

Untouched example having nearly all the original finish remaining. It has the Eagle over WaA135 military acceptance stamp along with the eagle over N Nitro stamp. Bore is clean. Six digit serial number 924574. There are 2 original clips include, one is in the pistol and the other is in the storage compartment of the black finish leather holster. The interior flange has been period over painted with a blue gray enamel paint typical of Luftwaffe. That being stated, you can see the raised lettering of a rank and possibly a name underneath. The rank appears to be Gefreiter. The chin strap is intact and still supple. 100% original Normandy camo finish helmet that shows combat wear!

Minty example of an M35 double decal police helmet-This example has the M40 combat finish. The finish is lightly sand textured and both decals are at 99.9%. Original chin strap with maker stamp and leather liner show little if any wear. The flange is maker/size stamped ET64 and has a rear flange lot stamping of what appears to be 5125 which is in the lot number range used by ET in their M40 production helmets. This is not uncommon to find these ET M35 helmets with M40 combat finish leading us to believe this helmet was not a reissue but an unissued M35 that was finished according to M40 specifications. If you only desire one double decal combat police helmet in your collection, this would be the one!

Minty Early WW2 German Gas Mask/Gas Mask Canister Lot #131a (Sale Order 145 of 270) Khaki straps with leather reinforcement tabs. The strap stampings are REP 1938 and what appears to be L.B. 39. The exterior finish on the canister is in excellent condition having a few scratches and what appears to be a dark blue-gray finish as typical for Luftwaffe troops. The interior has both metal spring separators. There is a piece of soft white cloth with 2 extra lens packets. The lense door on the lid also contains a packet of extra lens. It has a faint Waffenampt ink stamp and is metal stamped with the maker ESCHEBACH and the date of 1938. The canvas gasmask body is nearly as supple as when period issued. The retaining straps still retain a lot of the original elasticity. The filter is in near mint condition. Hard to upgrade this example!

Extremely Rare WWII Nazi Army High General Promotion Document Cassette/Holder Lot #172 (Sale Order 188 of 270) Not to be confused with the slightly larger Knights Cross Award Document presentation holder. This item is constructed of cardboard and has a red pebbled leather cover with gold gilt edge details and embossed eagle on the front. The glued binding is strong and the document retaining cord is intact. The interior is paper lined with feathered edges. The maker FRIEDA THIERSCH is stamped in gold gilt at the lower interior bottom edge. In folded state it measures approx. 13-5/8" X 18-1/8". These leather covered presentation promotion document holders are quite rare and this one is in extremely fine condition showing only minor wear.

This rare banner is double sided with embroidered lettering on one side. It is for the Bad Kissingen district and has the organization date of 1923 in hand embroidered chain stitching. Medallion border has the words "REGIMENTSTAG GRUNDUNGSFEIER" which translates to Regimental day celebration and is dated 1939. There are several stampings on the reverse. It measures 5 1/2" in diameter. Unusual item!

3rd Pattern Wehrmacht Tropical Tunic For Enlisted-Late War 1944 Dated Lot #228a (Sale Order 246 of 270) All the bells and whistles here! Late war pattern slip on shoulder boards for EM. The piping is a dark pink/light red shade for Armored/Artillery troops. Olive colored soft cotton material. All stitching is correct. The pockets are not pleated and flaps are squared as is typical of a 3rd pattern tropical tunic. It is properly RB Numbered stamped and has correct size stampings and a late war date of 1944. The breasst eagle is correctly machine sewn just above the right breast pocket in a period zig-zag stitching.The near mint dark gray pebbled buttons have the metal "S" rings for ease in removal. Period pressed fiber buttons on bandage pocket and the cuffs. A textbook example of a scarce and desirable late war tropical tunic that would be nearly impossible to upgrade!

German K98 Bayonet With Tropical Frog-Unit Marked Lot #229a (Sale Order 248 of 270) The original factory bluing is nearly 100% on the blade. There is a thin grease film protecting the unsharpened blade. Bakelite grip plates are crack free. Scabbard and bayonet are non matching and scabbard is dated 1937. Canvas tropical frog has the initials BS and what appears to be a unit stamping...The last 2 characters almost appear to be SS runes...Be your own judge on that one! Nice solid example with a near mint blade.

M40 Mediterranean Camo Combat Helmet With Liner-Partial Decal/Decals Lot #232 (Sale Order 251 of 270) Period applied Olive-Brown camo paint finish. There appears to be 2 decals that have been "liberated" from under the camo over paint on the left wearers side and shows the original 2nd pattern Luftwaffe eagle. The decal on top of that is a partial SS decal. The Luftwaffe decal is certainly correct as according to Brian Ice's Helmet lot number database the maker/size stamping ET66 and lot number 1237 is a known ET factory production Luftwaffe single decal helmet. The right side looks as if decals have been remove and there are traces of red decal. That being said, could this possibly have been one of the re-issued helmets used by the SS Einsatzgruppen Foreign Volunteers..? The liner is complete although does show wear. Please bid on this helmet based on your own knowledge and expertise.

This AA Flak gun was mounted on the conning tower early wartime. There are 2 wooden trays that have cutouts for different wrenches/tools. Some of the tools have a heavy enameled finish to prevent rusting. Rare U Boat related item! It is very heavy weighing over 31 pounds.

Late War WW2 Luftwaffe Pilot Flight Boots Lot #239 (Sale Order 258 of 270) This pair of late war Luftwaffe Pilot boots have the hard leather lower part and soft leather uppers. The lower brown leather construction does have a shade difference. Each boot has an RB number stamping and a date stamp of 1944. The RB numbers are the same indicating the same maker. The rubber soles are marked differently. The size stamp on the left boot is 28 and the right boot is 27-1/2. The buckles on each are slightly different. Both have the period Bakelite zippers by Ri Ri. These boots came together and show consistent wear. Not uncommon to find a pair of late war boots that were worn together in a slightly mismatched state.

There are 9 WW2 period badges/awards. They are the 3 classes of wound badges, black, silver and gold. The silver wound badge is maker marked 107 for the firm of Carl Wild. Next row has the War Merit Cross 1st Class w/o swords, Iron Cross 1st Class and War Merit Cross 1st Class with swords. The KVK 1st Class with swords is maker marked 43 on the pin for the firm of Julius Bauer & Sohn. The bottom row has the KVK 2nd class w/o swords, EK2 and KVK 2nd class with swords. There are no visible makers on these or the other badges that were not noted as such. Just an amazing lot of medals that will be offered as one grouping!
