OWN A PIECE OF HISTORY

1983 – NASA launches Challenger on its maiden flight, Al Pacino Stars in Scarface, Cal Ripken and the Baltimore Orioles win the World Series.

It’s also the year Buffalo Trace would turn back the clocks and distill a whiskey honoring their original O.F.C. Distillery. The O.F.C. was famous for top class whiskey under the watchful eye of Colonel E.H. Taylor, and is now registered as a National Historic Landmark.

The bottle available for auction is #4 out of 50 from 1983, and all proceeds from the sale will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities in Omaha. The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities in Omaha is to create and operate programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children by providing opportunities that strengthen children and families during their most difficult and challenging times.
