Detailed Dovehead Roon Pattern Sword Lot #1 (Sale Order 2 of 327) Good looking sword with detailed blade. Blade is covered in grease to protect it.
No maker name seen by us, may be covered by the oil. Lots of scrolling detail throughout the blade. Handle is wire wrapped and in good overall condition as you can see. It does have a crack in the grip as shown. Overall a very nice find, older edged weapon, ready to collect. 32 inch blade. |

Eickhorn Roon Sword with Scabbard Lot #2 (Sale Order 3 of 327) Quality blade and scabbard. Marked Original Eickhorn Soligen with Squirrel logo on the hilt.
Blade is clean and damage free as shown. Black celluloid wire wrapped handle is in very good damage free condition although some of the twisted three wire strands have moved. The guard and back guard are plain, along with the pommel. Retains original leather throat guard. Includes metal black painted scabbard. Case marked ENG. DEPT. U.S.A. 1917. This vintage 1917 USANITE pocket compass was made by Taylor, Rochester, N.Y., patented April 20, 1915. Each quadrant of the dial is graduated from 0-90 degrees. It has a watch-type stem to open the case. As shown, the cover has separated from the case. Measures 1.75 inch diameter. This piece is in very good condition as you can see. It has not been varnished. Best we can tell is that the white spots showing are natural bone color variations. Includes spring-action jaw, works great. Retains roughly 23 teeth. Missing tooth holes have filled in naturally before the passing away of this individual, most likely being of older age at death. This piece has some dust accumulation, showing it has been around for a long time. Really amazing how it has survived all these years. Based on our research, we believe it to be an adult male. This skull is ready to add to your collection. Look at all the photos to see how well he shows. Call or email with any questions (as with all our lot offerings). He is that fantastic. German M34 Feuerschutzpolizei Helmet, Double Decal Lot #61 (Sale Order 62 of 327) M1934 helmet with salt shaker vents.
This double decal helmet appears to have had its left-side decal scratched and evidence of a right-side decal. May have been reused as security/safety at the Gotha aircraft manufacturing plant, based on the large decal on the front, DIE GOTHAS. Helmet shows well as you can see retaining much of the black finish. Possible original leather liner with extra breathing holes as shown. Hand lettered H. Sachtlebe, ink stamped 37. Chinstraps are not original to the helmet. Take a look at this one. A good helmet. |

German M34 Feuerschutzpolizei Helmet, Double Decal Lot #65 (Sale Order 66 of 327) Black painted helmet shows early production features, such as the square brim variation, dual salt and pepper shaker-style vent holes.
Some paint loss as shown, nothing terrible. Police eagle insignia is the first pattern type, as it has no silver border. National Socialist Party decal is the Pocher type, named after its manufacturer. Stamped A inside edge as shown. Appears to be original leather liner stamped in ink 60and original drawstring. Kreigsmarine Dagger and Scabbard with Japanese Etchings, German WWII Lot #98 (Sale Order 99 of 327) This dagger variation is unknown to us. Brown celluloid handle wrapped in braided wire.
Blade is marked with a swastika on the hilt as well as what appears to be Japanese characters. This edged weapon certainly has good age to it. Blade is has detail as shown. Measures 11.5 inches long, edged on both sides. Point is sharp, no damage to edges. Scabbard is metal and in very good condition with detail, two hanger rings, and swastika as shown. Scabbard and dagger lock tightly with no wobble, push button release works great. |

What an amazing collection that we are proud to represent. For your consideration comes this large grouping of items. They belonged to an American Catholic Veteran and Priest who during WWII exchanged like-items with a German Priest. They were then given as a gift to a neighborhood student. These are now being offered to the public for the first time. Grouping includes:
- Highly ornate Chasubal with magnificently intricate stitching in the form of thistles. Detailed trim along with plastic studs. ihs stitched into the center as shown. Simply an amazing piece. Liner is clean, edge has separated in one spot as shown, easy fix. - Wonderful Mitre head-dress in heavy black velvet and cotton with red cross in the center, accented by detailed trim around edges. - Two traveling holy water tubes, used for ceremonies away from the church, at hospitals or in the battlefield. One shown has a swastika eagle, the other has a monogram on the top cap as shown. - Two tabletop crucifix pieces. Both have Gott Mit Uns plaques on them. One has square base, the other round. - Black cloth patch with silver wire bullion stitching of two crosses. - Black and white photo of religious ceremony with German soldiers and an other at a grave site; note the soldiers with shovels. - Small pamphlet in German with Jesus on the cross. - Small 1890 traveling Bible. - Small locket-sized metal-cover bible that opens to hold small religious pieces. Inside we found the very small medal that is shown. - Two jewelry crucifixes as found. - The grouping also includes two very nice funeral sashes or stoles. One-piece construction, no seams. This is a wonderful reversible Summer to Autumn camouflage Oak Pattern (we believe this to be the name of this pattern but Palm is close to the same look) A Type 2 WWII German smock / poncho. Note: 17-3/4 inch camo match; eye match to left of pocket. Look at the photos, the great pattern, color and condition, amazing. Constructed of heavy canvas-like water-resistant cotton. This style smock / poncho was seen in the latter half of the war. As nice a Type II smock as you may find. In a very large size designed to be worn over the soldiers field gear. No neck drawstring. Reversible camouflage, double reversible waist pockets, elastic waist and cuffs. Issues seen: missing pocket buttons, one Summer-sided pocket flaps is partially torn. Loops for attaching camouflage are provided on the upper body as shown. Some are only attached on one end as shown. One tear as you can see, some very small holes, but nothing bad at all. Other than pocket buttons missing and a few holes this one is a fantastic example. Do your homework on these, hard to find at all and in this condition. Look at all of the photos of this great hard to find piece. These are highly sought after and a fine example. |

Push handle and both cutter blades work. The blades are old so may not cut the same as when new. Heavy and well-designed to look like famous cigar box. Metal has no cracks or damage. Age wear as shown along with a black marker scribble on front vertical edge. Marked DRGM (Deutsches Reiches Gebrauchs Musterschutz) on the slide hole cover. DRGM marking was used from 1891-1945 (GERMAN REICH) for protecting German items. Hard to find cutter, now adorned with WWII German metal pieces. Decorated well. WOW! Morrow Coaster Brake Color Bike Advertisement Celluloid Button Lot #251 (Sale Order 252 of 327) What a find! This is a very collectible celluloid pin back. A similar example is shown in the color section of Collectible Pin-Back Buttons.
We spotted it in a jar at the estate, very difficult piece to find especially in this condition. No cracks to the celluloid. Shows Scout in uniform riding his bicycle with a small image of the brake mechanism to the left. Reads: Buy A Bike Equipped With A Morrow Coaster Brake/Eclipse Machine Co. Elmira, N.Y. Color is strong, darker, but it may be what it is supposed to be. Rust as shown on the reverse, as expected. This is the first example we have ever had to offer. Get it here! Possibly a Randall made U.S. Springfield Knife. Looks similar to a Randall No. 1 Fighting Knife. Certainly has age to it. Marks may have worn off. Looks just like others of this design. Possibly WWII era edged weapon. In very good condition with no issues to speak of. Honest / mild wear to the stacked leather washer grips and inside of sheath belt wear. Blade is sharp with no damage to the edge, pointy end as well. Blade as some marks as you can see, nothing terrible. Includes thin sharpening stone, not broke. Just a great old fighting knife with original sheath and stone. Blade measures 7.75 inches long |
