ANACS 1995-p Lincoln Cent 1c DDO FS-040 Graded ms66 RD By ANACS Lot #153 (Sale Order 198 of 475) ANACS 1995-p Lincoln Cent 1c DDO FS-040 Graded ms66 RD By ANACS, America's oldest grading service since 1972. ANACS was originally created by the ANA and stands for American Numismatic Association Certification Service. This is in the original ANACS small white holder when they were still with the ANA. These holders are known for being accurately and sometimes even undergraded. According to Jaime Hernandez at PCGS: "The 1995 Doubled Die is the last of its kind. Late in the 1990's the Philadelphia and Denver Mint began using a single hub technique. The single hub technique would only strike all dies once, therefore, eliminating the possibility of striking major doubled die coins. The 1995 Doubled Die Lincoln cent is a very neat coin. It is the most dramatic Doubled Die for all circulating coins from 1995 to date."

NGC 1922-p Silver Peace Dollar $1 Binion Collection Graded ms62 by NGC Lot #339 (Sale Order 448 of 475) ***Pedigree Alert*** NGC 1922-p Silver Peace Dollar $1 Binion Collection Graded ms62 by NGC, one of America's top 2 and harshest grading company's. A coin from the famous Binion Collection. Always sought after. A coin with a story always adds value, and the Binion Story is one of the most well known. Lonnie Theodore "Ted" Binion (November 28, 1943 – September 17, 1998) was a wealthy U.S. gambling executive and one of the sons of famed Las Vegas casino magnate Lester Ben "Benny" Binion, owner of Binion's Horseshoe. His death has been a subject of controversy; girlfriend Sandra Murphy and her lover Rick Tabish were initially charged and convicted in Binion's death, but were later granted a new trial and acquitted on the murder charges. After his death, it was discovered by Nye County sheriff's deputies that Ted had had a 12-foot-deep vault built on the desert floor on a piece of property he owned in Pahrump, 60 miles west of Las Vegas. The concrete bunker contained six tons of silver bullion, Horseshoe Casino chips, paper currency, and more than 100,000 rare coins, including Carson City silver dollars—many in mint condition—estimated to be worth between $7 million and $14 million—that were once housed in the Horseshoe vault. After Ted Binion was banned from the casino, he contracted construction of the underground vault with MRT Transport, a trucking company owned by Rick Tabish. MRT trucks were used to transport the silver to the vault, and the only two people who had the combination to the vault were Binion and Tabish. The vault was discovered two days after Binion died, whereupon Nye County sheriff's deputies arrested Binion's associate Rick Tabish and two other men unearthing the silver. Binion hid millions in and around his Las Vegas home, all of which went missing after his death. It is rumored to be buried on the property under odd mounds in the front and back yards. After the trial much of the silver was given to his daughter, who had some of it offered for sale to the public. A large portion still remains unclaimed at the courthouse.
