1987 Nissan B-1 1987 Nissan B-1

1987 Nissan B-1

Lot #705 (Sale Order 35 of 129)

1987 Nissan Be-1. The first of the original “Pike Factory” cars, this 1987 Be-1 is in beautiful original condition with only 77k original kilometers (47,845 miles), automatic transmission, a/c, folding electric vinyl sunroof, original interior (including original floor mats) and original dark yellow paint (only four colors were offered – yellow, red, white and blue). The only non-original part of the car is an aftermarket Clarion stereo and speakers. The Be-1 was only produced from 1987-1988 and only 10,000 were ever produced making it the rarest of the Pike cars (only the S-Cargo is rarer at 8,000 but it is considered a cargo van and not a car). All Pike cars (with the exception of the S-Cargo which used the 1.5 liter Nissan Sentra engine) used the 987 Nissan Micro engine and were carbureted (the Figaro was the exception using the Micra engine, but fuel-injected and turbo-charged). The Nissan Micra has been produced for many years and has been sold throughout the world with the exception of the United States. Many parts for the Be-1 can be found in, not only Japan, but also in England where it has maintained a large cult following. It is estimated that fewer than 100 are in the U.S. The Nissan Be-1 is a retro-styled three-door hatchback manufactured by Nissan for model years 1987-1988, and originally marketed solely in Japan at their Nissan Cherry Stores. Designed to be a fashionable city car, the Be-1 was originally marketed without Nissan branding, by reservation only and solely in Japan. Because of its origins at Pike Factory, Nissan’s special project group, the Be-1 — along with the Nissan Figaro, Pao and S-Cargo — are known as Nissan’s “Pike cars.” In 2011, noted design critic Phil Patton, writing for the New York Times, called the Pike cars “the height of postmodernism”[1] and “unabashedly retro, promiscuously combining elements of the Citroën 2CV, Renault 4, Mini [and] Fiat 500.” The engine was the 1.0L (987 cc) MA10S, and a 3-speed automatic transmission or 5-speed manual transmission. This engine produced 52 PS (51 hp/38 kW) at 6000 rpm and 76 N·m (56 ft·lbf) at 3600 rpm. The chassis included rack and pinion steering, independent suspension with struts in front, as well as 4-links and coil springs in back. Disc brakes were used in the front and Drum Brakes were used in the rear.

Lot #714 (Sale Order 44 of 129)

In 1964, ultimately more significant is when Chris Craft introduced an all-fiberglass 38 foot Commander Cruiser, which had been developed at the Holland, Michigan plant. The Cavalier line has served it’s purpose not only entry-level boats, but as a bridge from the old to the new while Chris-Craft underwent radical changes in ownership, corporate structure and technology, from the late 1950’s to the late 1960’s.

1979 Super Beetle Convertible

Lot #718 (Sale Order 48 of 129)

Great summer fun cruising with the top down. Reliable, comfortable. We loved the smiles we got driving this car and watching the occasional Slug Bug fun. The seats have been reupholstered in soft gray cloth which is very comfortable on long drives. Original radio was replaced with an aftermarket AM/FM stereo. It is possible that this vehicle is a Triple Black, Epilogue Edition. Recent work includes: -Ignition wiring replacement work. -New brake shoes, hardware and hoses. -Repaired passenger window crank mechanism. -Replaced speedo cable. -Replaced speedo cluster that was stuck (old odometer reading was 86,000 and the replacement odometer reads 62,000) -Tune up, oil change, furl filter replaced. All recent repair work and maintenance completed by a local shop specializing in older air-cooled Volkswagens.

1972 Fiat 850 Spider

Lot #719 (Sale Order 49 of 129)

1972 Fiat 850 Sport Spider BertoneThe Fiat 850 is a small, longitudinal-rear-engined, rear-wheel-drive car with a technical design and evolution of the very successful Fiat 600. The original body was designed and built by Bertone, with some styling changes coming in later years of production, along with a stronger 903cc, 52hp engine with a 4-speed manual transmission. This original Spider has had long-term ownership and was garaged for many years in Kitsap County, WA. A well maintained example with zero of the problematic rust typical of the model. A full service was performed and a lot of little details were attended to make this ready for a pleasurable drive. Included hard top and excellent heater make this a year round fun machine! They are becoming increasingly rare as few were taken care of like this lucky charmer.

1990 Nissan 300 ZX 1990 Nissan 300 ZX

1990 Nissan 300 ZX

Lot #723 (Sale Order 53 of 129)

1990 Nissan Fairlady 300ZX in beautiful original silver (hood repainted do to slight fading – pictures taking before professional hood repaint). Original 83,000 kilometers (51,573 miles), 5 speed transmission, a/c, stereo, beautiful original grey cloth interior. This Z car is extremely rare in the U.S. as it was only offered in the twin-turbo model with the 2+2 configuration for the Japanese market only. Very nice condition with good tires and tasteful aftermarket period alloys. This car really belongs in a museum – it is that nice. A beautiful silver bullet; 1990 Nissan Fairlady Z (or 300ZX) Twin Turbo 5 speed, with T-tops, HICAS four-wheel steering; Right hand drive; only 83,000 kilometers or about 51,500 miles. She is an original right-hand drive car legally imported; Bridgestone Potenza RE71 tires with about 6 to 7/32? of tread left and they all are worn evenly; Ewing Japanese Domestic Market (JDM)–BBS-like wheels that set her off nicely; She has OEM Ichikoh headlights, another unique JDM item; The air conditioning blows very cold air and the climate control works as it should; Silver repaint is excellent. No dings. She comes with three original Nissan Fairlady Z keys and deep pile floor mats as well as the original steering wheel and shift knob and T-top covers; The Nissan 300ZX is a sports car in the Nissan Z-car family that was produced across two similar but unique generations. As with all other versions of the Z, the 300ZX was sold within the Japanese domestic market under the name Fairlady Z. Sold in Japan from 1983 to 2001 and in the United States from 1984 through 1996, the 300ZX name followed the numerical convention initiated with the original Z car, the Nissan S30, which was marketed in the U.S. as the 240Z. The addition of the “X” to the car’s name was a carryover from its predecessor, the 280ZX, and signified the presence, either standard or optional, of luxury and comfort oriented features not present on previous models. Despite the presence of that additional equipment, the first generation “Z31” variant of the 300ZX (1983-1989) continued in the tradition of the original S30 as a mid-priced model. The second generation “Z32” was driven up-market, being faster, more capable, more advanced, and much higher priced than its predecessor, with consecutive price increases each model year of availability. As such, the Z31 was the more accessible, and ultimately the more popular model, selling over 100,000 more units in total than the Z32. Car and Driver placed the Z32 on its Ten Best list for 7 consecutive years, each model year of its availability in the United States. Motor Trend awarded it as the 1990 Import Car of the Year.[2] The Nissan 350Z, officially the Z33 generation Z-Car, succeeded the 300ZX in 2003.

1976 Porsche 912E

Lot #724 (Sale Order 54 of 129)

One year only car and one of 500 sunroof cars! Very rare original color of Copper Brown Metallic. Only 67,000 miles since new, this car has always been pampered and carefully maintained. All original interior with the exception of the front seats which have been redone. Very clean with no smells or major flaws whatsoever. Dash and gauges look like new. Sunroof works perfect and does not leak. Stereo upgraded to a later model Blaupunkt CD player and Boston acoustics speakers. One repaint on the exterior that was done very professionally about 20 years ago. It still shines great, but has many small flaws due to age and use. Most notable flaws are front end rock chip road rash and some thin spots on the hood from over buffing. The door jambs, under hood, and engine compartment still retain original paint and they did a good job of masking it off with minimal overspray. This car has absolutely no rust or rust repairs, it was always a California and Arizona car. No evidence of any body damage, all of the panels are laser straight with excellent gaps throughout. Runs great and does not smoke or leak. It’s a little finicky on cold starts and you have to feather the throttle a bit , but warms up after a minute and runs flawlessly. All original drivetrain. 5 speed transmission shifts flawlessly. The Forged Fuch rims were professionally restored and are flawless…Michelin tires are near new. Spare has never been used. Has tool Kit, original owners manual, and window sticker from Carlsen Porsche Audi in Palo Alto for delivery in Culver City, CA. Unmolested low production Porsche that any enthusiast would be proud to own.

1967 Ghia 1500 1967 Ghia 1500

1967 Ghia 1500

Lot #728 (Sale Order 58 of 129)

Carrozzeria Ghia is famous for their custom work on other models of cars however, Ghia built a few models of their own in the 1960s. This extraordinary Ghia 1500 GT is one of very few of these rare cars. Only 846 were built between 1963 and 1967. Only 36 were officially exported to the USA. Almost none remain in any condition. This is an exceptional example, perhaps one of the finest in the world. The 1500 GT was powered by a Fiat 1.5-liter straight-four with horsepower ratings ranging from 67 to 84. The top speed was over 100 mph. Suspension consists of an independent front end with coil springs and a live rear axle with leaf springs. The former owner replaced the Fiat 1500 motor with a fresh 118 horsepower 2 Litre Volvo motor with dual SU carburetors. When he performed the complete restoration, the body and frame were blasted, epoxy primed, and painted Rosso Corsa by a top quality paint shop in Bellingham, WA. An original 1500 Fiat motor is on a stand and available with the car. The replacement motor weighs considerably less than the original motor and produces nearly 30 more horsepower. The Borrani wheels have been powder coated and new tires were fitted. The headliner, seats, and carpet are all fully restored. A superb and fast car, the extra 40-60hp makes it an exciting drive. Full documentation of restoration accompanies this rare, unusual and uncompromisingly car. Compare it to the much more common and much more expensive Alfa Romeo Sprint Specials. It is a veritable bargain at only 25% of the pricing.

1992 Honda Beat

Lot #743 (Sale Order 73 of 129)

1992 Honda Beat: 10,314 original miles (16,600 kilometers), 5-sp transmission, a/c, front air dam and rear spoiler, original Gather’s “Beat” radio and speakers (the Honda Beat was named because the radio kept the beat of whatever was playing on the radio); original steering wheel and gearshift knob, original zebra-striped interior and floor mats (the only interior option offered by Honda); perfect convertible top (no tears), a clear back window and very rare original tonneau cover, excellent tires with very tasteful aftermarket alloy wheels. A quick, high-raving (8.5) engine and beautiful handling. This car has been gone over by an independent mechanic who has a class certification from Japan. Although this car has been repainted (in the original factory yellow) this is not unusual for small Japanese vehicles. In Japan if you cannot prove you have a space to park a larger vehicle you must purchase a smaller vehicle 1000cc or less (most often a Kei car). 99% of all of the smaller cars received from Japan have some paint rework. 1992 Honda Beat 10,000 miles (or 16k kilometers) 5 speed manual a Japanese Domestic Market little car (or Kei car) that weights a whopping 1,500 pounds and has a 656cc three-cyclinder engine that will happily rev to about 10,000 rpms. The engine is behind the seats and the smart people at Honda have called this “Midship Amusement.” She is a little NSX. Here are some noteworthy items: She has an upgraded and working stereo system with the extra speakers on the dash; She has the original steering wheel, shift knob, owner’s manual, tool box, and tonneau cover for the original convertible top; The top as well as all rubber components are soft, pliable, and working as they should; The yellow repaint shines and is unique (more rare) for this model; She has 4 excellent Dunlop tires with plenty of tread left and they are in the original equipment size (13? up front and 14? in the rear); The air conditioning (yes, it has air conditioning) blows cold and has no leaks; The Honda Beat is a rear wheel drive, mid-engined two-seat roadster kei carproduced from May 1991 to February 1996. The Beat was the last car to be approved by Soichiro Honda (the founder of Honda) before he died in 1991. The total number of cars produced was around 33,600. The design of the car originated from Pininfarina, who then sold the design plan to Honda. The Beat was one of many cars designed to take advantage of Japan’s tax-efficient kei car class. In typical Honda fashion, the Beat’s engine did not utilize a turbocharger or supercharger. The 656 cc (40.0 cu in) engine was modified with the MTREC (Multi Throttle Responsive Engine Control) system, with individual throttle bodies for each of the three cylinders, to produce 64 PS (63 bhp) at 8100 rpm with an electronically limited top speed of 135 km/h (84 mph). Only a manual transmission was available. On May 9, 2010, a parade was held in the Twin Ring Motegi circuit as a part of an annual Beat owners meeting. 569 Honda Beats participated in the parade, which is certified by Guinness World Records as the largest parade of Honda cars. The record was shown in the 2011 edition of Guinness World Records.

Lot #750 (Sale Order 80 of 129)

1967 NSU Wankel Spider Low Miles, Time Capsule, Original Rotary. This is a 1967 NSU Wankel Spider Convertible 2 Door with a 498 cc Single Rotor Wankel engine and 4-speed all-synchromesh manual transmission. The NSU Spider is an automobile which was produced by NSU Motorenwerke AG from 1964 to 1967. This was the first production car in the world to be powered by the Wankel rotary engine. This car was thought to be remarkable. It is a milestone car. It first appeared in 1964 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. It is very distinguishable by the grill at the front. The engine is rear mounted and to keep weight distribution even. The radiator and fuel tank are located in the front. These cars were either painted red or white. Only 2,375 were built in the three years of production. Today, less than 400 are known to exist. This car hails from southern California and has been stored inside for over 30 years. It is in time-capsule condition underneath with absolutely no visible rust throughout. The car is in incredible, original condition throughout and appears completely original. It features only 76,951 miles from new. It needs a complete restoration, and hasn’t been started for eons but it turns. Parts are accessible. If you have a micro car collection or are a museum or historian this is a must have. There is no condition more desirable than original. Whether to be restored or moth balled as is, this is a legend that has just turned 50 years old from its inception. We have many other parts available separately as well. We believe that this car is 100% complete. We found it with another similar car that we already sold. This is the finest example have ever seen in 40 years on an untouched original. NSU license and brand was purchased by VW back in the 70’s, so there are parts support available through several clubs and specialty vendors. The windshield has been replaced. This micro car is in amazing condition and deserves to be with a museum or collection. We also have numerous parts available for Sport Prinz's and Wankel Spider's.

1990 Nissan Pao 1990 Nissan Pao

1990 Nissan Pao

Lot #756 (Sale Order 86 of 129)

1990 Nissan Pao. This specific little car is one of my favorite Pike cars ever - in fact it makes me very sad to put it up for sale. With 122,000 kilometers (75,807 miles) this Pao has automatic transmission, full sliding back automatic sunroof, a/c, original factory radio, the original green paint, factory floor mats and rear hatch cover. Also, this car has the factory upgraded wheels (a cute improvement over the original steel wheels). The Pao took a lot of inspiration from Citroen with the exposed hinges and corrugated panels. Also, note the vent windows and the split rear windows (reminiscent of the Citroen 2CV). You literally cannot go anywhere without people asking you all sorts of questions and commenting on how cute it is. All Pao’s have the carbureted 987cc Nissan Micra engine, and power steering. 90% of all Pao’s are automatic as the Japanese prefer automatics in their smaller cars. Only made from 1988-1990 the Pao was made in limited numbers (only 51,657) and the entire production was sold out in three months (from the date of announcement). The Pao was only made in four colors - Tan, Blue, Rust, and Green (the most popular color). Often referred to the Pike Factory Safari Wagon due to it’s dimensions. Reserve is set at $7500. The Nissan Pao is a retro-styled three-door hatchback manufactured by Nissan for model years 1989-1991, and originally marketed solely in Japan at their Nissan Cherry Stores. First announced at the Tokyo Motor Show in October 1987, the Pao was available with or without a textile sun roof and was originally marketed without Nissan branding, by reservation only from January 15 through April 14, 1989. Orders were delivered on a first come-first served basis, with the production run of 51,657 selling out in 3 months. Because of its origins at Pike Factory, Nissan's special project group, the Pao — along with the Nissan Figaro, Be-1 and S-Cargo — are known as Nissan's "Pike cars." In 2011, noted design critic Phil Patton, writing for the New York Times, called the Pike cars "the height of postmodernism" and "unabashedly retro, promiscuously combining elements of the Citroën 2CV, Renault 4, Mini [and] Fiat 500."[

1966 Chevrolet Corvette 1966 Chevrolet Corvette

1966 Chevrolet Corvette

Lot #771 (Sale Order 101 of 129)

This car is a VERY NICE “driver” resto-mod Corvette. Its painted in Dupont “Sunfire Yellow” which was a factory Chevrolet Corvette color in 1966. This car was originally a Red 327 powerglide car, which the previous owner did a complete frame off restoration and modification converting the car to a big block with side pipes and fender flares on all 4 fenders giving the car a much more aggressive stance. The car now has a GM Performance LS 7-427 with a Tremek 5 speed transmission. As of August 2017 the LS 7 has acquired 600 miles and received its first oil change. With this car’s flared fenders, it has wider than stock sized rims and tires. The fronts tires are 26 x 10.00-R15 Mickey Thompson Sportsman Street Radials. The rear tires are 28 x 12.00-R15 Mickey Thompson Sportsman Street Radials. Further detailed description available upon request.

1940 Hudson Traveler Coupe

Lot #775 (Sale Order 105 of 129)

1940 Hudson Traveler Business Coupe This car is from the Pete Welzbacker Hudson collection in Seabeck Wa. This is the first time this car has been offered for sale. This car was found on the Oregon coast in the Bob Harbaugh Hudson museum in the late 1970s. This is an unrestored all original car and a “good ten footer” Pete would say. It has one repaint MANY years ago. This is NOT a rusty car but has a little cancer showing in the normal places. It has the original $12 dollar option factory Ox Blood red leather upholstery. This is a Model 40T. The engine was rebuilt in 1994. It is a straight 6 175ci 92hp with a three speed transmission and working Overdrive. The car did not originally have the “truck box” but it was an option and was installed by Pete. All the memorabilia that Pete collected will be offered with the car.

1982 Nissan Bluebird (Right Hand Drive) 1982 Nissan Bluebird (Right Hand Drive)

1982 Nissan Bluebird (Right Hand Drive)

Lot #794 (Sale Order 124 of 129)

Right hand drive, 36,XXX original miles. Ed and Etsuko are finally letting their baby pride go! Ed purchased her in Okinawa, Japan in 1986 from the original owner. They went through the painstaking, timely, and costly task of importing her to the United States, paying her bond, and meeting all U.S. E.P.A. and D.O.T. safety standards. She has been inspected by Washington state patrol, assigned a Washington state V.I.N. number, titled and registered to drive in the United States. She has all modifications completed to meet U.S. safety standards including: door reinforcement beams, bumper replacements, windshields, lights, mirrors, and wheels and tires. The stack of documents with specifications and photos are included in the sale, along with many original parts that Ed was allowed to keep in the conversion. Parts include: bumpers, lighting system, most of the smog controls with air filter housing, and the entire 5 speed manual transmission (19,XXX miles.) The five speed transmission and clutch work great. This car was the top production drift car at the time of manufacture due to its independent suspension. He was not allowed to keep the original wheels or tires. It has been converted to an automatic transmission for comfort and ease of driving, but can be converted back to manual if desired. She has independent suspension, which really hugs the road and is always such a joy to drive with lots of head turning wows and thumbs up! The peppy and economical Z-18 engine, dual ignition distributor has been changed to an electronic distributor, so no more messing with dual points and dwell settings. The original distributor assembly is also included in the sale. She has a lifetime warranty starter, alternator, distributor, water pump, muffler, cat. converter, and brake pads. It has had a new professional paint job (original paint was sun faded).
