Slip on shoulder boards for rank of Leutnant and white piped for infantry.. Breast eagle and collar tabs may have been post factory applied (please be your own judge). Original Afrika Korps cuff title Has been machine applied with borders folded under. 3rd pattern tunics were manufactured after Rommel was defeated so the cuff title was most likely applied by the soldier to commemorate his Afrika service. Very nice example!

WW2 German Wehrmacht Officer's Overcoat-213th Infantry Security Division? Lot #65 (Sale Order 69 of 159) Original Wehrmacht Infantry officer's overcoat. Sew in shoulder boards for the rank of Leutnant. Each board has the 3 digit ciphers 213. In researching, it appears the Wehrmacht had a 213th Security Division. Its duties included security of communications and supply lines, economic exploitation and combatting irregular fighters (partisans) in Wehrmacht's rear areas-Along with other security and police forces in the occupied territories, the division participated in war crimes against prisoners of war and civilian population. The fine wool body does show fairly heavy moth tracking and a few small moth holes and mainly along the bottom seams. The piping on the shoulder boards also have moth damage. Still, in good overall collectible condition and a scarce small security division.
