Michael Jackson Personally Owned Signed Fedora Michael Jackson Personally Owned Signed Fedora

Michael Jackson Personally Owned Signed Fedora

Lot #2 (Sale Order 4 of 156)

Michael Jackson Personally Owned & Autographed Custom Black Wool Fedora W/COA & Photograph - This amazing piece is a custom black wool fedora, which was personally owned by Michael Jackson. The had is stamp in the inner hat band reading: “MICHAEL JACKSON” and is boldly signed by Jackson in silver marker below the brim, “All my love, Michael Jackson 1998 ooo”. The fedora was one of Michael Jackson's fashion staples, and he was known to autograph the fedoras and throw them out to the crowd during his performances. There are a few theories about why he autographed things the way he did, with the date 1998 and the "ooo" upward arrow. It is said that he began signing with "1998" in 1988, and one theory is that he had simply made a mistake, and another is that he was prophesizing his death. A more likely theory is that he believed that his career would come full circle within ten years, and that he would have accomplished all he desired by that time. The upward arrow is though to have symbolized moving forward, while the "ooo" is said to represent the complete Godhead-Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It is believed that Michael Jackson was a very spiritual person, and that there was a meaning behind everything he did or said. The fedora is size X-Large, and is in beautiful condition. The piece will also come with a certificate of authenticity, along with an 8" x 10" photograph of Michael Jackson wearing a fedora. This piece has excellent investment potential, as Michael Jackson is one of the most sought after celebrities in the world of celebrity property and entertainment memorabilia collecting.

Elvis Presley's Mobile Home From Circle G Ranch Elvis Presley's Mobile Home From Circle G Ranch

Elvis Presley's Mobile Home From Circle G Ranch

Lot #3A (Sale Order 7 of 156)

Elvis & Priscilla Presley's 60' Two Bedroom Delta Mobile Home From Circle G Ranch W/All Paperwork - This spectacular piece of rock & roll history is Elvis and Priscilla Presley's two bedroom, 60' Delta mobile home. The mobile home was on Elvis' famous "Circle G Ranch", near Graceland. Elvis bought the ranch in the 1960s as a getaway that would still be near Graceland. After he and Priscilla married, they spent part of their honeymoon there, and originally started out using the ranch house immediately after purchasing the property. Elvis liked his Memphis Mafia around, and he figured the way to do that was to buy eight house trailers and have them installed on poured concrete pads near the lake on the property. The accommodations for the guys were set way back on the 163 acre property, however, Elvis seemed to have really loved hanging out with his buddies back in the trailer area, and as a result, in March he ordered this two-bedroom trailer for him and Priscilla. In April 1967 when filming for the film "Clambake" was paused, Elvis was able to spend three straight weeks on the ranch, and it has been argued that that Spring was one of the happiest times of his life. There has been some confusion about which Elvis buddies had trailers along the lake, but it is said that they were primarily for married couples, including Jerry Schilling and his wife, along with Elvis' first cousin Billy Smith and his wife Jo. This mobile is a chance to own a true piece of history, and a place which was once a key part of Elvis' happiness. The mobile home was manufactured by Delta, and measures 60' long x 12' wide. It is in the original condition in which Elvis and Priscilla left it. The mobile home will come with copies of all paperwork, including a bill of sale which was signed by Elvis himself. Please see all photos for condition and full provenance. Please note: This item is located in Branson, MO. If needed, the auction house will help facilitate shipping at the buyer's expense.

He called our auction firm, and said he would like to "sell it again", because he is almost 80 years old, and wants to see it be fully restored for the world to see. He said "He got really excited on auction day, and now he wants to see it go to a good home." Elvis Presley Fence Board From Elvis Presley Fence Board From

Elvis Presley Fence Board From "Circle G Ranch"

Lot #10 (Sale Order 20 of 156)

Elvis Presley Wooden Fence Board From The Fence at His "Circle G Ranch" W/Signed Letter of Authenticity From Elvis' Cousin Billy Smith & Promotional Flyer For Ranch Tour - This is a wooden fence board, from Elvis Presley's "Circle G Ranch". Elvis bought the ranch in the 1960s as a getaway that would still be near Graceland. After he and Priscilla married, they spent part of their honeymoon there, and started out using the ranch house immediately after purchasing the property. Elvis liked his Memphis Mafia around, and he figured the way to do that was to buy eight house trailers and have them installed on poured concrete pads near the lake on the property. The accommodations for the guys were set way back on the 163 acre property, however, Elvis seemed to have really loved hanging out with his buddies back in the trailer area, and as a result, in March he ordered one more two-bedroom trailer for him and Priscilla. This wooden board came from a fence on the Circle G Ranch, and was a gift from Billy Smith himself. Smith was Elvis' first cousin, the son of Gladys Presley's oldest brother. He was a member of the Memphis Mafia, and grew up with Elvis in Tupelo, MS. The board measures approx. 12" x 7", and has been branded with the Circle G Ranch logo. The board has been fixed with hanging wire, so that it is ready to hang and be displayed. The board will also come with a hand signed letter of authenticity from Billy Smith, which states that the piece comes from a fence on the ranch property, which Elvis had built for his privacy. This is an excellent investment piece, as Celebrity Memorabilia continues to rise in value faster and more steadily than any other asset class, due to the uniqueness and rarity of the items. This piece comes directly from someone who was very close with the King, from what is said to have been some of the happiest times of his life. The piece has been very well kept, and is in excellent condition. The lot will also include a promotional flyer for tours of the ranch.

Elvis Presley's Shot Out TV From Lisa Marie's Room Elvis Presley's Shot Out TV From Lisa Marie's Room

Elvis Presley's Shot Out TV From Lisa Marie's Room

Lot #10B (Sale Order 22 of 156)

Elvis Presley's Shot Out TV From Lisa Marie's Bedroom W/Signed Documentation (Previously on Tour W/Rascal Flatts) - This television was used at Graceland, and was in Lisa Marie's bedroom. The tv was acquired by Elvis' longtime nurse Tish Henley, who lived in a trailer behind Graceland along with her family. Elvis would often spend time in Lisa's bedroom while she was not there. According to Henley, one day while watching this TV, the picture kept skipping (as TVs often did at the time), and she saw Elvis reach across the TV tray next to the chair in which he was sitting, and pick up a hand gun and shoot the TV. The TV lost power, and Elvis told Tish to get her husband to take it out to what he referred to as the "TV Graveyard" (it is said that this is not the only TV that Elvis shot during his lifetime). Before trashing the TV, Tish's husband Tommy plugged it in and to his amazement it still worked. When Tish told Elvis that the television was still working he told her to use it for her daughter's room in their trailer. This piece will come with signed letters of authenticity from Tish Henley, as well as Stephen Shutts, whom obtained the TV from Tish. Shutts is a well known music historian and avid collector, TV personality and author. He has worked with Graceland, CMT, The Country Music Hall of Fame, and many others, including Rascal Flatts, for whom he created a Elvis themed wedding chapel for their Flatts Fest Tour. This TV toured in that chapel. VIEW MORE PICTURES

Marilyn Monroe Personally Owned Mandarin Dress Marilyn Monroe Personally Owned Mandarin Dress

Marilyn Monroe Personally Owned Mandarin Dress

Lot #13B (Sale Order 29 of 156)

Marilyn Monroe Personally Owned Custom Hand Made Mandarin Style Jacquard Dress W/Letter of Authenticity- This stunning piece is a custom designed, hand made Mandarin style jacquard dress, which was personally owned by Marilyn Monroe. The dress was given to Joe Franklin by Monroe, as they were very close friends and both had a fascination with Hollywood nostalgia and memorabilia. Joe Franklin was a radio and television host, and would often ask his famous guests for souvenirs, which is how he acquired much of his collection. According to Joe, Marilyn wore this dress while attending the Actors Studio in New York in the early 1950s, and gave this piece (among many other items) to Joe while she was preparing to vacate her New York City apartment around 1953. The dress was made with an external pink Jacquard fabric shell with an additional inside liner, and has an embroidered trim along the edges. The piece is exceptionally elaborate and exquisite, as every stitch on the external jacquard fabric was done by hand. The seamstress chose to use an abundance of delicate and well hidden mini-snaps and tiny hooks to create a beautiful fabric-flow over Marilyn’s famous curves (this same technique was used in the construction of the famous “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” dress). Measurements (approximate): 41" length, 30" waist, 15" sleeves. There are no labels present. This piece will also include a letter of authenticity from Joe Franklin, who was an American radio and television host personality, author and actor, and whose show featured famous guests such as Andy Warhol, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Salvador Dali, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, and countless others. Joe Franklin knew Marilyn Monroe personally, and co-authored the first biography about Marilyn, titled "The Marilyn Monroe Story".

Marilyn Monroe Personally Owned Red Wool Dress

Lot #13C (Sale Order 30 of 156)

Marilyn Monroe Personally Owned 1950s Red Wool "Pacific Mills" Dress W/Letter of Authenticity From Joe Franklin - This piece is an authentic 1950s red wool dress made by Pacific Mills, which was personally owned by Marilyn Monroe. The dress was given to Joe Franklin by Monroe, as they were preparing the manuscript for "The Marilyn Monroe Story", which was written by Franklin and was the first biography about Marilyn. According to Franklin, the piece was given to him by Marilyn in 1953 while they were in her East Side apartment working on the manuscript. They both had a fascination with Hollywood nostalgia and memorabilia, and when Franklin suggested to Marilyn that she may have some items to place in his collection, she did not hesitate for a moment. This dress is one of the pieces that she gave to Joe. The dress has been extremely well kept, and is in beautiful condition. The dress is made of 100% wool, and the inside label reads "fabric by Pacific Mills 100% wool". It is said that wool was Marilyn's 2nd favorite fabric choice, as silk was her favorite. The dress is red in color, and has cheetah printed trim, two front pockets, and five fabric covered front buttons. There are threads on the inside back collar area that are sewn slightly uneven and not in a straight line. This suggests that the piece was probably altered after purchase by Marilyn's personal seamstress, in order to make it perfectly fit her exquisite figure. Measurements (approximate): 43" length, 28" waist, 6" sleeves. There is no size label present. The book is titled "Forever Young Forever Healthy", and was a gift to Marilyn from her close friend and acting coach Paula Strasberg. Inside of the book Marilyn dog-eared a page marking the "Where Yoga Comes In" section, as well as marked a passage in the "Posture" section. Also inside of the book is a typed note card with "Lee Strasberg's Relaxation Exercise", as Lee Strasberg was Marilyn's acting mentor, of whom Paula Strasberg was the second wife. The book is in beautiful condition for being over 50 years old, and still has all of the pages intact with no tears or creasing. The print shows a smiling Marilyn, holding a bottle of Chanel No. 5 perfume and dabbing it onto her decolletage. The print has been framed in a wood and gilt gold frame. The piece is in good to fair condition (please see all photos for condition), and measures approx. 17" x 21" (including the frame). Marilyn Monroe (1926-1962) was an American actress and model, who became one of the most popular sex symbols of the 1950s. Monroe's few rivals in popularity include Elvis Presley and Mickey Mouse, and no other star has ever inspired such a wide range of emotions from lust to pity, from envy to remorse. The American Film Institute has named her the sixth greatest female screen legend in American film history, and the Smithsonian Institution has included her on their list of "100 Most Significant Americans of All Time". Marilyn Monroe remains a sex symbol, beauty icon, and one of the most famous stars of classical Hollywood cinema. Monroe remains a valuable brand, and her influence will likely continue to live on for years to come.

John F. Kennedy's Radio From Senate/White House John F. Kennedy's Radio From Senate/White House

John F. Kennedy's Radio From Senate/White House

Lot #13H (Sale Order 35 of 156)

John F. Kennedy Personally Owned Grebe Console Radio Used in U.S. Senate & White House W/Signed & Notarized Letter of Provenance - This spectacular piece is an antique Grebe console radio, which was personally owned by former President John F. Kennedy. The radio is a high-end radio console made by the A.H. Grebe Company during the 1920’s. During that era, Alfred Grebe was the preeminent high-end radio console maker for the world. Like his other models, this radio was constructed of the finest walnut and exotic woods (a veritable handcrafted work of art) using innovative electronics and patented circuits to produce some of the best high fidelity and reception of the times. The radio was given to Kennedy by staff members while he was serving in the United States Senate, and he loved it so much that after he was elected President, it accompanied him and Jackie to the White House in 1960 where it was placed by the family in their private quarters. After Kennedy's assassination in 1963, Jacqueline Kennedy had all of their personal items removed from the White House to be stored with Rose Kennedy at the family compound. In the early 1970s the FBI developed intelligence information that suggested that one of the Kennedy children may have been the targets of a kidnapping for ransom plot. The President signed an Executive Order to provide protective services to the Kennedys (as they were not entitled to U.S. Secret Service protection). Raymond Carolin is the agent who was directed to protect the family during this time, and the radio will come with a signed and notarized statement from Carolin about how he acquired this piece. The radio was given to him by Rose Kennedy during a family Easter holiday. Rose wanted the radio out of the house, as she complained that it "collected dust". Upon hearing this statement, Raymond Carolin asked if he could keep the radio if they were going to throw it out. This is an amazing piece of history, and an incredible chance to own a wonderfully personal piece from one of the most beloved Presidents in the history of the United States. The lot will include a signed and notarized letter of authenticity from Raymond Carolin, along with a letter and auction catalogue supplement from Gurnsey's (as the radio was previously sold in their auction in 1998), and with a "Distant Sparks" periodical which tells the story of the life of Alfred H. Grebe. The radio is in wonderful condition for its age, and truly belongs in a museum. VIEW MORE PICTURES VIEW PROVENANCE

Frank Sinatra's Personally Owned Pool Telephone Frank Sinatra's Personally Owned Pool Telephone

Frank Sinatra's Personally Owned Pool Telephone

Lot #14 (Sale Order 40 of 156)

Frank Sinatra Personally Owned Western Electric "Executive Rotary Box Telephone" (Used in His Rancho Mirage Pool House) - This amazing piece was Frank Sinatra's personally owned "pool phone". The phone is a Western Electric "Executive Rotary Box Telephone", which was designed to be portable, with a decorative metal handle on one side. The 3 ft. phone cord could be plugged into a convenient wall socket using an old-style 4-pronged square plug (Bell System # 238). This plug-phone configuration allowed the phone to be moved anywhere on the property, anywhere where there was an available phone outlet; from room to room or from house to pool. For the Sinatra household, this phone was used primarily as an outdoor pool phone (which helps to account for its weathered condition). It is believed to have been in used outside by Sinatra’s pool at his Rancho Mirage home until the mid 1960s, when Bell Telephone introduced the first commercial push-button telephones (November 18, 1963) that replaced the rotary phones. The phone was designated "The Sinatra Rancho Mirage Home Pool Phone" due it being observed (by Sinatra's personal assistant and housekeeper of his Rancho Mirage home, Raquel Suarez) to have experienced its heaviest use while at poolside (used mostly by Frank Sinatra). This piece was acquired by our seller from Suarez. This incredible piece truly belongs in a museum. This is an excellent investment piece, as Celebrity Memorabilia continues to rise in value faster and more steadily than any other asset class, due to the uniqueness and rarity of the items.

Frank Sinatra Original "Melancholy Clown-Self Portrait"

Lot #14A (Sale Order 41 of 156)

Frank Sinatra Original "Melancholy Clown-Self Portrait" Oil on Canvas Painting & Attached Portfolio Cover W/Provenance - This amazing piece is an original oil on canvas painting by Frank Sinatra. Sinatra is a renowned American singer, known as the leader of the "Rat Pack", and a lesser known fact about the singer is that he enjoyed painting as a hobby for over 40 years. This spectacular painting depicts a "Melancholy Clown", and is thought to have been a self portrait of the singer, painted during his divorce to his second wife, Ava Gardner. There have been a few original Sinatra paintings sold in the open market over the years, however none as special as this particular piece. The one side is an original painting of a clown, and is signed "F. Sinatra" in the lower right hand corner. This piece is extra special, as it is attached to the original portfolio cover, as it was obviously the first painting he did in this particular canvas book. The original adhesive is still intact, and the cover of the portfolio also has a clown on it that Mr. Sinatra also wrote his name on in pen (please see all pictures). This is a truly amazing investment piece. The painting and cover measure approx. 5" x 7", and are in beautiful condition. Titanic Prop Ticket Won By Jack Dawson W/COA Titanic Prop Ticket Won By Jack Dawson W/COA

Titanic Prop Ticket Won By Jack Dawson W/COA

Lot #17 (Sale Order 45 of 156)

Titanic Movie Prop "Third Class Passenger's Contract Ticket" Won By Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCapprio) Framed W/COA - This amazing movie prop is a framed third-class ticket from James Camerons’ Oscar winning masterpiece, Titanic. This ticket was won by Jack Dawson (portrayed by Leonardo DiCapprio) in the fateful on-shore gambling scene, allowing him passage aboard the White Star Line ship Titanic. The ticket has been printed "Third Class (Steerage) Passenger's Contract Ticket", and is filled out in the name of Olaf Gunderson, whom Jack wins the ticket from. The ticket image is actually a mirror image (reversed), and all words and images on the ticket are actually printed backward on the paper for the purposes of filming. In order to film the departure scene from Southampton which, in real life, was appropriately done from the port side, Cameron filmed the starboard side and then "flopped" the film in the lab. Consequently, many notices, signs, and props were printed as mirror images so that the film could be "reversed". This prop ticket has been professionally mounted in a framed display, and will come with a certificate of authenticity from 20th Century Fox. The piece measures approx. 11.25" x 10.25", and is in beautiful condition. Titanic is a 1997 American epic romance-disaster film directed, written, co-produced and co-edited by James Cameron. The film achieved critical and commercial success, being nominated for 14 Academy Awards, and winning 11 including the awards for Best Picture and Best Director. The film had an initial worldwide gross of over $1.84 billion, making it the first film to reach the billion-dollar mark. The film is the 2nd highest grossing film of all time, only falling behind Cameron's "Avatar" in 2010.

Jacqueline Kennedy 4-Piece Fabric From India

Lot #18C (Sale Order 50 of 156)

Jacqueline Kennedy 4-Piece Set of Fabric Purchased in India in 1962 Gifted to Mary Gallagher - This is four pieces of Indian fabric, which were purchased by Jacqueline Kennedy during her trip to India in March, 1962. Jacqueline Kennedy was one of the First Ladies to travel abroad, and an estimated 100,000 people lined the streets to greet her when she arrived in New Delhi. It was Jackie’s pattern to find fabrics that she liked, then to give them to her seamstress to make clothing for her. However, for a number of reasons, specifically President Kennedy’s assassination, this plan didn’t work out and she ended up giving all these bolts of fabric to her secretary at the time, Mary Gallagher. The fabrics have been extremely well kept, and still have the Indian price tags attached. There are two are brown, gold and black pieces, one black and maroon peacock print, and one rust and creme colored floral print. They measure approx. 41" x 180". These fabric pieces were previously sold in Hantman's "Jackie & John Kennedy Documents & Artifacts" auction in 2003. Jacqueline Kennedy was the wife of the 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy. She served as the First Lady of the United States from 1961, until Kennedy's assassination in 1963. As First Lady, she was known for her highly publicized restoration of the White House and her emphasis on arts and culture. She is remembered for her lifelong contributions to the arts and preservation of historic architecture, as well as for her style, elegance, and grace, and ranks as one of the most popular First Ladies and in 1999 was named on Gallup's list of Most Admired Men and Women in 20th-century America. (Please see photo of newspaper story provided by the seller)

Elvis Presley & M. Morgan Marriage License Copy Elvis Presley & M. Morgan Marriage License Copy

Elvis Presley & M. Morgan Marriage License Copy

Lot #43A (Sale Order 87 of 156)

Elvis Presley & Magdalene Morgan Marriage Certificate Copy & 8" x 10" Photo Signed "To Best Friend" by Magdalene Morgan - This is a copy of a marriage certificate between Elvis Presley and Magdalene Morgan. Elvis and Magdalene were childhood friends, as they attended Lawhorn Elementary School together and their mothers were best friends. In a 1990 interview with Memphis journalist Bill E. Burk, Magdalene tells Burk about what it was like growing up with Elvis. She explained that she was his "first date", and about how they attended the same church, often performing opposite one another, as they both had a love for music and performing. She also explained about her heartbreak on the day she found out that the Presleys were to move from Tupelo to Memphis. This document is a marriage certificate that was allegedly filled out by Elvis, unbeknownst to Magdalene. This marriage certificate was on the back of Vernon and Gladys Presley's marriage certificate, and Elvis even spelled Magdalene's name wrong (Magdline). The document is dated September 4, 1948, the day that the Presleys were to leave Tupelo, and it is said that beyond-smitten 13 year old Elvis hastily filled out this document on that day. The document was shown to Magdalene by Bill E. Burk during that interview, when she responded that she had never seen it before. He gave her this copy, and signed it, stating that the original was "signed on the back of Vernon/Gladys' marriage certificate. This copy is special, as Magdalene signed the copy "To Best Friend Becky Martin From Magdalene Morgan" and also wrote "Not to be copyed or duplicated". Becky Martin later sold a collection of Elvis photographs and other related items (she also went to school with Elvis and Magdalene) to our seller, who discovered this signed copy hidden behind a framed photograph after the frame broke and they went to have it repaired (a signed affidavit about the discovery will be provided to the winning bidder, along with a copy of Magdalene's interview with Burk). The lot will also come with am 8" x 10" photograph of the young lovebirds, which was signed "To Best Friend Rebecca Martin Magdalene Morgan and Boyfriend Elvis Presley".

These fishing boots were acquired in 1982 after Bing's death, when his widow Kathryn Crosby decided to sell some of Bing's personal items at auction (the auction was conducted by Butterfield's and lasted four days). Kathryn was met with much criticism for her decision, about which she said "Bing had six homes full of things. We have a very big home in Hillsborough that is still full of Bing's things." She said that she decided to have the auction due to the fact that she couldn't answer the countless pieces of mail from fans requesting something of Bing's (please see photograph of newspaper article discussing the auction). These fishing boots (along with other Bing Crosby owned items) were previously on display at a privately owned museum (which wishes to remain anonymous due to privacy reasons). Bing Crosby (1903-1977) was an American singer and actor, whose trademark warm bass-baritone voice made him the best-selling recording artist of the 20th century. He sold over one billion records, tapes, compact discs and digital downloads around the world. He developed a laid-back, intimate singing style that influenced many of the popular male singers who followed him, including Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Crosby won an Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in the 1944 motion picture Going My Way, and was nominated the following year for his reprise of the role in The Bells of St. Mary's.

Elvis Presley Personally Owned Concert Worn Scarf Elvis Presley Personally Owned Concert Worn Scarf

Elvis Presley Personally Owned Concert Worn Scarf

Lot #55A (Sale Order 110 of 156)

Elvis Presley Personally Owned Concert Worn Yellow Silk Scarf Thrown to Fan - This large, yellow silk scarf was worn by Elvis Presley during one of his performances, then pulled from his neck and tossed into the audience. Elvis Presley’s practice of giving away scarves started in September, 1970 in Phoenix, Arizona. It is said that at that show, Presley gave his scarf to a young fan in the front row, and her elated reaction led to Presley continuing the practice. Tossing scarves to fans in the audience during his live performances in the 1970s became an Elvis trademark. The scarf is approximately 29"x 31" and has visible worn marks from Elvis including discoloration (from sweat stains), and several pin hole marks where he probably placed a brooch or pin. The scarf has been very well kept, and is in its original (worn) condition. Please note: there is one small 0.25" tear in the scarf, however it is hardly visible to the naked eye.

These decanters (along with other Bing Crosby owned items) were previously on display at a privately owned museum (which wishes to remain anonymous due to privacy reasons). Mary's.

Frank Sinatra's Waldorf-Astoria Shoe Cloth Frank Sinatra's Waldorf-Astoria Shoe Cloth

Frank Sinatra's Waldorf-Astoria Shoe Cloth

Lot #60 (Sale Order 118 of 156)

Frank Sinatra Personally Owned Waldorf-Astoria Shoe Cloth - This is a Waldorf-Astoria shoe cloth, which was personally owned by Frank Sinatra. As was his custom in his later years, Sinatra would travel with his entourage on a private plane to his various performances around the country. In 1994, his last full year of touring, Sinatra included his trusted personal assistant and housekeeper of his Rancho Mirage home, Raquel Suarez with his entourage. He stopped touring one year later, and Suarez was given a box which contained Sinatra’s private possessions, which she brought back with her from his New York trip. Most of the contents were personally given to her by Sinatra himself, after the Radio City Music Hall Concert events were finished. The box contained several of Sinatra’s show-related, personally owned and worn clothing accessories, and items regularly worn by him during his many performances. Other items included Waldorf- Astoria Hotel souvenirs (brochures, sewing kit, bedroom slippers, etc.) from this famous hotel in New York City. This shoe cloth included in that box, and was acquired by our seller from Suarez. For Sinatra, the Waldorf-Astoria, in New York City, was like his second home. He had actually leased an apartment suite inside the hotel from 1964 until 1988, and anytime Sinatra came to New York just for a visit or for East Coast business he always stayed at his Waldorf-Astoria Suite.

He served in Friedberg, Germany, and shared an off-base residence with his father, grandmother and some Memphis friends. His manager, Colonel Tom Parker, continued to release singles recorded before his departure, to keep the money coming in and to keep Elvis in the public’s mind. Elvis was seen as a role model for young Americans, and was praised for not seeking to avoid the draft or serve domestically.

Kathryn was met with much criticism for her decision, about which she said "Bing had six homes full of things. We have a very big home in Hillsborough that is still full of Bing's things." Bing Crosby Personally Owned (10) Vinyl Records

Lot #72D (Sale Order 134 of 156)

Bing Crosby Personally Owned (10) Vinyl Records From The Crosby Estate (Previously Museum Exhibited) - This is (10) vinyl records, which were personally owned by Bing Crosby. These records were acquired in 1982 after Bing's death, when his widow Kathryn Crosby decided to sell some of Bing's personal items at auction (the auction was conducted by Butterfield's and lasted four days). The lot includes: "Merry Christmas" (4) record collection, "Bing Crosby and the Columbus Boychoir sing Family Christmas Favorites", "Merry Christmas Bing", and (4) additional Bing Crosby vinyls (with no covers). These records (along with other Bing Crosby owned items) were previously on display at a privately owned museum (which wishes to remain anonymous due to privacy reasons). Mary's
