Wonderful Noma green visca Christmas tree with nine horizontal light sockets and a top vertical socket in working condition. The visca is full and lush with little shedding and light green in color. Original wooden base is green with some discoloration. Cord has been replaced and has an appropriate Noma style plug. This is a great tree in near perfect condition and great for displaying Matchless Stars as well as other star shaped lights. Tree comes with ten C-6 cone lights (may have paint flakes), plus two spares. Circa 1940s.

Early Propp Battery outfit with eight composition sockets and parallel wiring. Has original wooden off/on switch. Green cloth wire is still pliable with a small amount of stiffness, has one original metal battery connector. Comes with six ribbed, Mazda, 4-6 volt cone lights, all stamped Mazda-USA and working. This early set comes in it's original Propp holly box with side label, No 8000, Battery Outfit, with 4 volt Mazda lamps. Circa 1915.

32" Late 1960's vinyl lighted Ice Tree by Noma with twenty-one sockets. $200/300

Tree measures 32" to the top socket. It is in great working condition with a newer cord and plug added. This late era tree has the fluffy and shiny vinyl greenery and does not shed like the earlier trees made by Noma. It comes with an assortment of GE Lighted Ice, GE Snowball lights and Glowray bulbs, plus a GE G-14 box containing seven more replacement lights. Lights may have chipping paint or ice. Circa 1960.

The lot contains five German glass kugels. First is round and gold it is 12.5" in diameter. Second is round, gold and 10.25" diameter. Third is round, gold and 10" in diameter. Fourth is green, egg shaped and 8" in diameter at the widest point. And the fifth is silver, egg shaped and 7.5" in diameter. There is slight fogging and spotting on the silvering on all. Caps are all authentic brass German caps. Circa 1900s.

Set contains seven C-7 Pep-Mint-Stik lights by Leo Pollock Co in working order. It has a tack-on and add-on plug at each end of the green cloth covered cord. The cord is slightly stiff but still quite pliable. Five of the seven stiks have their original hanging wire. Original box is complete albeit worn. Circa 1940s.

Tree also comes with 2 boxed sets of hard plastic diorama Kringles ornaments in original, worn cardboard sleeves. The ornaments are all in very good condition; center pole is reinforced. Wonderful German Dresden cardboard polar bear on log ornament. It has nice embossed details and black paint detailing of the mouth, nose, eyes and claws. Beautiful Santa Claus globe sits upon a black glass base that holds a light socket. This globe has no chips, cracks or breaks. Small paint rub on front, at elbow. Black glass base has several, very small chips on inner threads (not visible when lamp is assembled). It appears to have been rewired in the 1940's and was given an off/on switch. Perfect working condition. Circa 1915.

Wonderful 10" paper mache Belsnickel candy container. He has nicely modeled features and good original paint. He has a great solemn face surrounded by a green chenille type fur. His painted silver robe is accented with a yellow/mustard wash over top to appear golden. The lower edging of his robe is a metallic copper. The bottom is sealed with a light blue piece of cardboard. He has the original stem of a feather tree. Very good condition. Germany, circa 1890.

Largest Snow boy is 6.5" He stands on skis, rushing past a log pile and snow covered trees. He is painted in soft pastel colors and his shoes and snow pearls are adorned with gold. He is marked with the Carl Schneider stamp and incised 1190 Germany. Boy on Skis by a chimney is about 4" tall and incised Germany, 7531-A. Young girl on Sled is 3.5" tall and unmarked. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1910.

This late 19th Century, heavy glass globe measures about 7" tall and resembles a Kugel in weight and shape. It contains scenes of Hansel, children, flowers and a baby in swaddling cloth. It is finished with assorted colors brushed and splattered throughout. Globe is in nice condition with some paint flaking and thin spots on the inside paint. Circa 1890.

Set contains nine working bubble lights in their original box. They are screwed into a nine light, vinyl, straightline set with a replacement plug (not sure if original to the set). Most of the plastic bases have the typical heat discoloration and glue marks. The box is in very good, strong condition with nicks and scuffs, plus three small tears that have been glued. Original price of $1.98 written in pencil on end flap. Set comes with one spare Spark-L-Lite. Circa 1945.

Often referred to as a Matchless Star tree, this rare model is in its original format. The white visca is tight and fluffy with little to no shedding. It is in great working condition with ten T-4 blue light bulbs (all with scratched paint), several with original white washers. It comes with its original wood base and cord, but the plug has been changed. Slight yellowing of the visca. Comes with one extra yellow T-4 bulb. Circa 1940.

14" 19th century style St. Nicholas and toy cart by Werner Brauer. $400/600

This wonderful St. Nicholas figure was designed and created by renowned German artist Werner Brauer. His facial sculpting and painting are wonderful, as is his red felt robe, trimmed with white cotton roping. This piece was originally inspired by a commissioned exclusive appearing in an 1895 French toy catalog. He comes with a small flocked tree in one hand and his toy cart, that is filled with small wooden toys. He is hand signed WB and dated 2004 on the bottom of his traditional wooden sabots.

Several are marked Mazda although the mint box states that it comes with Japanese bulbs. Starlite box has a nice eight light cloth strand with composition sockets. It comes with eight smooth cone bulbs of various colors including a rare purple. Several bulbs are marked Mazda. Electrical Decoration Set comes with a twelve socket set and an English Bayonette (European) style plug. All bulbs are working and come with a spare. Most bulbs are snow capped, but paint is a bit worn. Original box is complete but frail. Circa 1920.

First issue in the Mouse Seasons Series: "A Winter Mouse". These two miniature mouse figures stand at 4-5" tall and are jointed at the neck and arms. They are air brushed with grey and brown for soft highlights and have glass eyes. Each is dressed in original felt costumes. Annamarie carries a sprig of felt holly and berries and Fritz carries a walking stick. Both come in their original labeled boxes with COA. She is # 38 of 250 and he is # 38 of 100.

Contains some air bubbles and a small scuff, also a slight amount of haze. 7.75" diameter egg shape in gold with brass cap and ring, slight haziness all over. 7" diameter green with brass cap and ring, slight haziness all over. Circa 1900.

Vintage Paper Mache Mechanical Store Window Display Of Santa Swinging On Gifts $600/800

This wonderful electrical animated piece stands at 30" tall with nicely painted paper mache face, hands and boots. It is built on a heavy metal armature and covered with cloth. It pictures Santa Claus perched atop gift packages. Once turned on, Santa rocks back and forth and swings up and down and around in circles. He is in great working condition. Packages are covered in cloth with ribbon decoration. Gold mesh cloth on lower package is frail, but could be recovered easily. Santa suit may have been recovered at an earlier time, and his hat, is a replacement. Estate legend states that this piece was on display in the Herald Square Macy's store windows during the WWII era from 1940-45, when the store windows were still decorated, though not lit at night. This piece was then purchased by a Macy's employee. Small face rub and scuffs on the gloves and feet.

Each box has wax pencil writing of 1.49 on each and has some surface dust. Circa 1940.

She wears a long cotton coat trimmed in white rabbit fur and holds a white fur muff. 6" child has a cloth body with bisque hands and is dressed in white kid suede with rabbit fur collar and leg trim. This lot contains six hard to find Alps bubble lights.These authentic lights have the indent in the top of the lamp for the bubble tube to sit down into, giving more heat distribution.They are all in working condition with nice paint on the bases, with only minor scuffing. Also included is a C-6 eight light strand, two Paramount ring bubble lights and a burned out Alps lamp. 1946.

Also included are eight, 5.5" Winter Berry clusters in red wooden pots with gold trim.These are adorned with shellacked holly leaves (some missing).Several are marked Germany. Circa 1900s.

Propp #72 seven with rare S-10 bulbs with matte outside paint. Paint is in nice condition with only a few scuffs. Set comes with seven working bulbs and a spare working bulb. Strand is a bit stiff but still pliable. Comes in original box with nice graphics in great shape with no tears. Peerless, strand is stiff but still pliable, comes with seven working matte paint bulbs, three have nice paint the others are well scratched. Box is great with a few small repairs. Timco, strand is pliable and comes with seven working matte paint bulbs of which two have nice paint, others are quite scratched. Box is near mint. Noma strand is quite pliable and comes with seven inside paint flame swirl bulbs. Box is great with just a few scuffs. Pennant has a nice red and green vinyl cord and comes with seven GE inside paint swirl flame bulbs. Box is great with a small tear at the top front. Circa 1920.

70" Chicken costume is made of a feathery/velour type fabric adorned with dyed and white ostrich plumes. Mask is made of sturdy paper mache and covered in the same fabric, finished off with hand painted beak and eyes. There is a wire mesh grill near the neck for the wearer to view. The 21" Alien head is made of sturdy paper mache with wire screen vent holes finished with gold sparkle paint. It is hand painted all over and viewing hole is through the mouth. Oral family tradition is that the chicken was used in a 1940's Macy's NY Thanksgiving day parade and the alien is from the 1960's. Alien head has a few paint spots missing and the chicken costume has some age patina and small stains, some feather loss and the original zipper is broken.

11" Limited Edition Father Christmas candy container, blue Canton motif by Ino Schaller. $200/400

A stern looking paper mache Father Christmas stands atop a candy container ball. It is decorated with a Blue Canton, Asian inspired design. He appears to be hand painted and then covered with minute glass pellets, as is the ball. He has a nicely painted face and outfit. He is holding a sparkling blue and silver tree. Inside the ball is decorated with the typical West German floral paper. It is #5 of 250 and signed 2009 by Ino Schaller. The piece was originally carried by David Strand Designs and carries the original tag.

This impressive hand made Belsnickel towers to 31" tall. He has a beautifully painted face with a sheep's fur beard. He wears a blue woolen robe with faux fur trim and collar. He has black paper mache boots and stands on a mica covered board. He is carrying a feather tree in one hand and a pair of large sleigh bells in the other. With the flip of the head, it calmly rocks back and forth. Signed Roberta Taylor,The Spirit Of Christmas. 1990s.

Lot consists of three boxes of Hi-Lites Rainbow Socketless Rainbow lights. There are a total of seventeen add-on bulbs in working condition and one set comes with original extension cord. Trans-O-Lite ornament light covers, with eight covers and couplers. One Reliance Bell-Lite set with blue bells, nice cord in working condition with original box. One set of Paramount Westminster Bell lights, all red with a nice original cord (some bell melting). Two sets of The Bells Of St Nicholas in nice working condition (needs blinker) and a partial box of Noma Halos with 14 C-7 halos. All-original boxes are in very used condition. Circa 1940s.

The large Sears sign is 3ft. x 6ft. It pictures Santa Claus welcoming guests into a wreathed front door with a fully decorated tree in side. This could have also been sold as a door banner poster. It is marked at the bottom Sears, Roebuck & Co, Printed in the the USA. It is in good condition with several small tears and tack holes on the edges. The Sealtest sign measures 20" x 60" and depicts Santa Claus in Sleigh with eight reindeer. Banner states "Merry Christmas to all...From Your Sealtest Dealer". It is in near perfect condition with bright vivid colors and no tears, rips or holes. Mid-1900s.

Lot contains a pair of Millstien glass Santa Claus containers with plastic Santa head lids. One has remnants of red paint on it's sleeve and black paint on the boots. The other has no glass paint, both have paint wear on plastic heads. Victory glass Santa at Chimney is in nice condition with original tin lid and original candy. German paper mache dog is in very nice condition with good original paint. Tin lithograph Santa bank has nice graphics of Santa Claus at chimney on one side, Santa reindeer and sleigh on the other. This side has a few small paint flecks. Circa 1910.

This groups consists of ten German bisque Snowbabies at play, they measure between 1.25" and 2". Three depict children on sleds, two show children on skis and five are tumbling, hugging or playing. Generally excellent. Circa 1910.

Wonderful wooden Putz village gate with a set of cast iron fencing. $300/400

Lot #64 (Sale Order 64 of 69)

Antique metal Putz gateway measures 29" long and is hand-made from tin and applied to rough hewn wood. The two gate pillars contain standard base light sockets that need rewiring. It is flanked on both sides by soft metal, resting reindeer (one antler missing.) The entire gateway is painted in a milky type matte white paint. It appears to be one solid metal piece and the gates do not open. This piece is accompanied by a twenty piece cast iron fencing set (that does not go to the fancy gateway), green painted with gilt finials. The set contains ten 12" pieces with hooks on one end for connecting, four 9" sections with gate hooks on one side and hooks on the other side for connecting, two 12" sections with no hooks for connecting to be used for a long side and four gates that hook into the 9" pieces. Half the pieces have a glossy green paint while the other half have a matte paint. (possibly indicating that these are two sets being used to create one large Putz fence). Circa 1900.

"9"" Belsnickel with paper mache head, hands and feet. It has nicely painted face with dark coloring. He is dressed in a white felt robe with red felt trim. He stands on a wood, mica covered base and opens at the hips to reveal the candy container. 7"" Woodcutter style Santa has paper mache head, hands and boots. He is dressed in red mohair velvet with white felt trim and carries a square wicker basket on his back and a small brush/yarn tree. Leg appear to have been repaired and have a few paint scuffs. 3 1/2 "" Earthenware Santa candy container lid made of thin wood (candy box missing) Santa has paint rubs on face. 6 1/2"" Cotton-wrap Scrap girl is smartly dressed in cashmere wool jacket, skirt and hat, trimmed with creamy silk bows. She has an applied easel on back and has cardboard legs with striped cloth applied (one boot is bent). 2"" L Dennisons Christmas seals box with miniature holly and mistletoe design. 4"" Clay face Santa with red felt jacket, cotton beard and chenille legs and trim. Black paper belt is torn. Fair/very good condition, sold as is. Circa 1900.

All Snowbabies are under 2" and in various scenes of play. Two are kicking balls, one has a hockey stick, one is standing on a sleigh, one is holding a parasol and one is a small snowman with tophat. The last one has tumbled on his side and has a red hood, mittens and shoes. Generally excellent. Circa 1910.

3" Googly Snowbaby vase has a nicely painted face with googly eyes and the "O" mouth, as well as painted skates. His snow covering is in nice condition. 4.5" Standing Snowbaby has a nicely painted pouty face and brown shoes, with only small amounts of snow rubs. Ski pole is missing. Both are in excellent condition. Germany, circa 1910
