WELCOME TO THE AUCTION Lot #1 (Sale Order 1 of 424) Just to Reiterate from our terms and conditions: I do my best to estimate the grade/condition of the coins, but please note, unless specifically mentioned in the description, I do not guarantee grade or condition. I DO ALWAYS GUARANTEE 100% AUTHENTICITY, on an immediate buyback including any premium paid. But please understand, if you win a coin and receive it and send it out to one of the grading companies and it comes back graded less than I estimated or "genuine but Ungradeable", we will not buy back that coin. No refunds will be issued. Please understand this and look at the large pictures and make your own decision on the grade/condition. I do my best to give you my best estimate and your repeat attendance at my auctions is what I strive for, so I always attempt to give my best description/estimate of the coins being auctioned.

1834 Hard Times Token Grades vf details Difficult to find Lot #12 (Sale Order 13 of 424) 1834 Hard Times Token Grades vf details. Perish Credit Perish Commerce. A rarer and more difficult to find HTT. When President Andrew Jackson believed that too much of the financial power of the country rested in private hands, he withdrew the Government's treasury funds from the Second Bank of the United States. The result was the tightening of money and the failure of many banks and businesses. These were known as the Hard Times and many tokens including this one were issued during this economic depression for patriotic, satirical and advertising purposes.

1837 Exec Experiment, I Will Follow in the Steps of My Illustrious Predecessor HTT Grades vf++ Lot #54 (Sale Order 58 of 424) 1837 Exec Experiment, I Will Follow in the Steps of My Illustrious Predecessor HTT Grades vf++. Hard Times tokens are privately issued mostly copper large cent sized tokens that were produced from 1833 to 1844. The period of economic hardship during Van Buren's presidency (the Panic of 1837) came to be known as the "Hard Times". With America in a deep recession, people began hoarding coins as a safeguard, and small change disappeared from the marketplace. In response, merchants began buying tokens from private mints so they could make change in business transactions. They were made of copper with a reverse similar to legal U.S. cents. This example is an ideological token without a head. The ‘executive experiment’ was Van Buren’s sub-treasury idea using a fiscal agent. The tortoise carrying the safe meant the democrats could never get the Bill through congress. On the reverse is a line from Van Buren’s inaugural speech when he said, “I follow in the steps of my illustrious predecessor.” Contemporary cartoons showed Van Buren behind a Jackass stepping in its hoofprints. Nice brown color. I estimate the grade to be VF/XF. Good eye appeal. It is a rare piece of American history, and a true prize for collectors. HT-32 Estimated Value $125.

The hard part about buying an 1892-o is finding one with some detail in the hair above the ear. On the vast majority of 1892-o's the area in the hair above the ear is generally lacking any detail. On this example there is virtually full detail in the hair above the ear. It has good luster. A tough coin to locate in this condition.

***Auction Highlight*** 1863-p Seated Half Dollar 50c Graded Choice AU/BU Slider by USCG (fc) Lot #377 (Sale Order 402 of 424) ***Auction Highlight*** 1863-p Seated Half Dollar 50c Graded Choice AU/BU Slider by USCG. Wonderful, Colorfully Toned, Seated Liberty Half Dollar. Outstanding Eye Appeal, Civil War Issue. When I Recieved this Coin, I was Taken Aback by the Mirror Like Fields on both the Obverse and Reverse. Not Only Those Fields, but the Area Inbetween the Lines and the Shield are Reflective. Denticals are Sharp and Crisp, as are the Stars. I showed the Coin Around, Thinking it Would be a Circulated Proof, and I got a Mixed Response. I Think the Coin is a Circulated Proof, and Would be Glad to Assist in Submitting for Verification. Just as a Reference, an au58 not as a Proof, Trends $850. The 1863 Proof in PR60 Trends About the Same.

***Auction Highlight*** 1901-p Morgan Dollar $1 Graded Choice Unc by USCG (fc) Lot #389.5 (Sale Order 415 of 424) ***Auction Highlight*** 1901-p Morgan Dollar $1 Graded Choice Unc by USCG. Highlight of the entire Auction. Spectacular example of the 1901-p. Likely the finest we have ever been able to bring to auction. I have tried to show several shots of the coin so that you can make an accurate determination of how high to go with your maximum bid. As you can see from the pictures this example has incredibly strong breast feathers with not a whisper of wear. The coin itself both obverse and reverse is virtually pristine. There is full detail in every aspect of the coin including the dots in the cotton bolls, the hair above the ear and as mentioned before, the breast feathers on the eagle. This coin is all original with a light golden toning. Spectacular eye appeal. I give this coin my highest recommendation. If you have the means, I strongly urge you to attempt to secure this coin. A Corey's pick, bid to win, don't let it get away coin. You may not find its equal. Estimate $40000
