Original WWII German Nazi Soldier Helmet Lot #10 (Sale Order 10 of 399) Leaded Dark Blue Style RLB/RBD painted Shell. Shell is an M-42 The "decals" appear to be hand painted and very detailed with a thick varnish coating. Liner is civil style and sort of a faux leather. The rear of the interior flange is named with the letters also being of lead based paint. The liner has the number 66 on the band. Please bid based on your own research. Possibly a late war helmet quickly made up the need for more Reichsbach Personal arose due to the allies coming across Europe quickly and prisoners were moved more often. An excellent example that could be the sleeper of the auction.
