This lovely 8 day brass clock has a Starburst reverse painted in gold leaf paint on glass. There is damage to the inside label but you can see “Welch” and “Forestville, Co” for Forestville, Connecticut. The clock has a few cosmetic issues, to include a crack in the veneer on the left side. There is a small bubble that appears underneath the star on the reverse paint. There is an inch long piece of veneer missing on the very top of the front face of the clock. The Woodsman Tribute Clock

This tribute clock to the great outdoorsman featuring boars tusk and antlers across the face and adorning its pendulum and crown is the perfect clock for any woodsman or hunter. This clock is driven with Lenzkirch movement that is accessible through two removable side panels. On the back side of the pendulum is a “W over V” and under that is the date “1989”. The hardware that originally mounted the top crown to the clock and the hardware that mounted the antlers to this top crown are missing. Attaching the top crown requires standard screws. There are holes on the backside of the antlers with this clock that appeared to hold a wooden dowel that also fit into holes in the top crown. Remount this set of antlers or customize with a pair off a deer you fell yourself. The choice is yours! The tip of the right antler appears to have broken off some time ago.
