***Auction Highlight*** 1936 Robinson Old Commem Half Dollar 50c Graded GEM+ Unc by USCG (fc) Lot #114 (Sale Order 106 of 665) ***Auction Highlight*** 1936 Robinson Old Commem Half Dollar 50c Graded GEM+ Unc by USCG. The Robinson-Arkansas Commemorative was a much maligned Commemorative, this Issue is Nowadays Sought After as much as the others. The Issue is Generally Weakly Struck and has Luster which looks more Satin than Bright. When examining an Robinson-Arkansas for wear, check Miss Liberty’s Cheek and Wreath, also the Eagle’s Head and Right Wing - these are the High Points. The typical Robinson-Arkansas Half Dollar will show extensive contact marks and abrasions on the Senator’s face. Spectacular luster and ultra clean surfaces highlight this dynamite 1936 Robinson commemorative. To have a Robinson in this condition is rare as the obverse has a very large wide open cheek which is prone to bag marks. This example does not exhibit such.

1995/1995 DDO Lincoln Cent 1c Grades GEM+++ Unc RD Lot #133 (Sale Order 124 of 665) 1995/1995 DDO Lincoln Cent 1c Grades GEM+++ Unc RD. Quoting Jaime Hernandez from PCGS, ‘The 1995 Doubled Die is the last of its kind. Late in the 1990's the Philadelphia and Denver Mint began using a single hub technique. The single hub technique would only strike all dies once, therefore, eliminating the possibility of striking major doubled die coins. The 1995 Doubled Die is dramatic enough that it can be seen with the naked eye. The 1995 Doubled Die Lincoln cent is a very neat coin. It is the most dramatic Doubled Die for all circulating coins from 1995 to date.

1980 Susan B. Anthony Dollar Souvenir Set, including all 3 mints, P, D & S Lot #169 (Sale Order 160 of 665) 1980 Susan B. Anthony Dollar Souvenir Set, including all 3 mints, P, D & S. Up for auction is a 1980 Susan B Anthony uncirculated souvenir coin set. The Susan B. Anthony Coin Act was signed into law by President Carter in October 1978, to honor the famous woman who devoted her life to leading the women's suffrage movement in the 19th century. Introduced by the U. S. Mint in 1979, the coin was short lived; struck only in the years 1979, 1980, 1981, and then once again after an eighteen year absence in 1999. This three coin souvenir set includes one 1980 issue dollar coin from each of the following mints: Philadelpia, Denver, and San Francisco. The obverse features the lifelike portrait of Susan B. Anthony, the reverse depicts an American eagle landing on the Moon, talons wrapped around an olive branch, an adaptation of the famous Apollo 11 insignia; the same design previously struck onto the Eisenhower Dollar. The uncirculated 1980 Susan B. Anthony Dollar Souvenir Set is presented in the Original Mint Packaging. The coins, in GEM BU condition, exhibit a superb strike with excellent eye appeal.

***Auction Highlight*** Morgan dollar roll ends 1879 & 'cc', Better than average circ (fc) Lot #193 (Sale Order 183 of 665) ***Auction Highlight*** Morgan dollar roll ends 1879 & 'cc', Better than average circ. Great Original Roll of Morgan Dollars. The roll is held in an old "Steel Strong Automatic" Wrapper Dated from 1921. The Roll is also faintly stamped "Banker Trust of Philadelphia, Central City Office, Walnut Street at Juniper". I researched that name and the Bank closed in the post-Crash of '29 Depression period (my research showed that it failed on Dec 22, 1930). The Two ends showing are the obverse of an 1879, and the other end has an 'cc' Carson City Mint Reverse. We received this incredible consignment from a private collector while at the Baltimore show. The consignee gave us his father's entire estate hoard of shotgun rolled coins. We have had great feedback on the rolls so far. Your choice to open the shotgun roll or leave it as is, but if you do open the Roll, please let us know what you find. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away lot.

***Auction Highlight*** 1886 Ty1 Indian Cent 1c Graded GEM Unc RD by USCG (fc) Lot #218 (Sale Order 208 of 665) ***Auction Highlight*** 1886 Ty1 Indian Cent 1c Graded GEM Unc RD by USCG. Quoting Ron Guth from PCGS, ‘In 1886, Mint officials made a change in the obverse hub for the Indian Cent, most evident in the position of the word AMERICA relative to the Indian's head. On Variety 1, the lowest feather points between the I and the C of AMERICA; on Variety 2, the lowest feather points between the C and the final A. Both varieties are of nearly equal scarcity, but the Variety 2 appears to be slightly more rare. Both varieties are scarce in Gem condition. This is a spectacular example of a very scarce issue. The 1886 is one of the 1880's dates that are incredibly rare and sought after. This particular example has spectacular rich, red color. LIghtly frosted devices. Somewhat reflective fields. Tremendous eye appeal. I give this coin my highest recommendation. You will not be disappointed. A Corey's pick, bid to win, don't let it get away coin. You might not find its equal.

The 1901-s is a Key date in the Morgan dollar series. Locating one in Choice unc condition is very difficult. Locating one in Choice+ DMPL is near impossible. 1927-p Peace Dollar $1 Grades Choice AU/BU Slider Lot #232 (Sale Order 222 of 665) 1927-p Peace Dollar $1 Grades Choice AU/BU Slider. The 27-p is the big sleeper of numismatics in my opinion. It has the 2nd lowest mintage in the whole Peace dollar series. Lower than the 34-s, the 21-p, yet it does not command its proper value. Good coin to own multiple of and save, in my opinion, but if you've been coming to our auctions for a while you will have seen that this has always been my opinion.

***Auction Highlight*** 1914-d Lincoln Cent 1c Graded xf+ by USCG (fc) Lot #233 (Sale Order 223 of 665) ***Auction Highlight*** 1914-d Lincoln Cent 1c Graded xf+ by USCG. Key date to the Entire Lincoln cent series. If you went into a coin store to sell an entire Lincoln book from 1909 thru 2018, the person making you an offer on it, would first look at the 1909-s vdb and second the 1914-d. After which he would likely make you an offer just on the basis of those 2 coins only. The 1914-d is rare and sought after in all grades and commands a hefty price even in ag. This dynamite example has superb detail throughout. Is accurately graded as xf+, and on top of all that it has a 45° CCW rotated die which is almost never seen on this issue. A Corey's pick, bid to win, don't let it get away coin. You won't find its equal.

***Auction Highlight*** 1921-p Peace Dollar $1 Graded Choice Unc by USCG (fc) Lot #252 (Sale Order 242 of 665) ***Auction Highlight*** 1921-p Peace Dollar $1 Graded Choice Unc by USCG. Key date and inaugural year of the Peace dollar series. The 1921-p was struck in high relief. It was struck only in the later half of the year and thus in small quantities. The mint stopped producing the high relief version after this run as they were unable to consistantly get a strong strike, often having examples where the hair above the ear and the Eagles wing feathers were blank. The example you are bidding on has virtually full detail and when seeking out an example of a 21-p for your collection, strike is of the utmost importance. I highly recommend this coin. A Corey's pick, bid to win coin.

***Auction Highlight*** Peace dollar roll ends 1934 & 's', Better than average circ (fc) Lot #265 (Sale Order 255 of 665) ***Auction Highlight*** Peace dollar roll ends 1934 & 's', Better than average circ. Great Original Roll of Peace Dollars. The Two ends showing are the obverse of an 1934, and the other end has an 's' San Francisco Mint Reverse. We received this incredible consignment from a private collector while at the Baltimore show. The consignee gave us his father's entire estate hoard of shotgun rolled coins. We have had great feedback on the rolls so far. The rolls are marked Circ and based on the ends that we can see and the feedback received, they seem to be PQ rolls. Some lucky bidders have gotten key dates and PL's. Your choice, but if you do open the Roll, please let us know what you find. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away lot.

***Auction Highlight*** 1891-s Redfield Morgan Dollar $1 Graded Gem Unc by Paramount (fc) Lot #308 (Sale Order 299 of 665) ***Auction Highlight*** 1891-s Redfield Morgan Dollar $1 Graded Gem Unc by Paramount. This lot is from the LaVere Redfield collection better known as “the Redfield Hoard.” When he died in 1974, his estate was worth about $100 million, and in the basement of his modest home, behind a false wall was a hoard of over 411,000 silver dollars. Most of the silver dollars were Morgan Dollars, and to a much lesser extent there were Peace Dollars too. Many of them were still in their original Mint bags. Just to give an idea of the size of 411,000 silver dollars; it is a weight of about 11-tons. LaVere Redfield has been called thrifty, frugal, and eccentric. Estimates tell us that at one time LaVere Redfield had amassed over 600,000 silver dollars. In 1963, his house was burglarized, and it was reported that approximately 100,000 of the silver dollars were stolen. That is probably what encouraged him to build a false wall in front of his coal bin. That way, the only thing he had to do was to just drop the bags down the Coal Shute. If one would venture a guess, they would say that Redfield was not a numismatist, and they would be correct, but he did want his silver dollars unused and in original Mint bags whenever possible. Behind the wall was 400 bags of silver dollars, most of which had been sitting there for decades. When the coins were put up for auction, there were so many coins the lot could not be properly examined by the potential bidders, and when the hammer fell Steve Markoff of A-Mark Corporation purchased the entire lot for $7.3 million. It has since been estimated that the wholesale value of the Redfield Hoard of silver dollars was about $20 million. Paramount International Coin Corporation in Ohio was one of the main company’s used to sell the hoard. They packaged the Redfield silver dollars in a hard plastic holder with a cardboard label surrounding the coin reading either "A Silver Dollar from the Redfield Collection," or "US Silver Dollar, Paramount International Coin Corp." The Redfield Hoard created quite a stir within the coin community. It is not, nor has it ever been just about the coins, but rather it is the story that surrounds the coins. That is what makes it so exciting.

***Auction Highlight*** 1927-p Peace Dollar $1 Graded Choice Unc by USCG (fc) Lot #312 (Sale Order 303 of 665) ***Auction Highlight*** 1927-p Peace Dollar $1 Graded Choice Unc by USCG. Super choice unc example of this Semi Key date Peace dollar. Strong attractive luster. Virtually mark free cheek and fields. Great eye appeal. Well struck. A Corey's pick.

1864 L Indian Cent 1c Grades f, fine Lot #343 (Sale Order 334 of 665) 1864 L Indian Cent 1c Grades f, fine. Up for auction is a very scarce 1864 L on ribbon Indian cent variety. According to David Hall, “The 1864-L is scarce in circulated grades and very scarce in mint state. However, its price has as much to do with its popularity and importance to collectors as it does with its scarcity. All 1864-L Indian cents have a pointed bust on Ms. Liberty, while the no L’s have a rounded bust. So sometimes low grades are designated (correctly) as L’s even if you can't really see the L.

1837 Feuchtwanger 1c Grades xf+ (fc) Lot #358 (Sale Order 351 of 665) 1837 Feuchtwanger 1c Grades xf+. Feuchtwanger cents are considered similar to a pattern coin, as they circulated in the late 1830's. They were a substitute for Large Copper Cents. Dr. Feuchtwanger made them out of German Silver (which is nickel, copper and zinc). The obverse depicts Feuchtwanger's favored motif, an eagle with serpent in its talons. The reverse states 'One Cent' surrounded by a wreath, further surrounded by 'Feuchtwanger's Composition'. They are widely collected with Large Cent coins and are a great piece of historical Americana.

1871 Indian Cent 1c Grades vf++ (fc) Lot #363 (Sale Order 356 of 665) 1871 Indian Cent 1c Grades vf++. Quoting PCGS :"The 1871 Indian Cent is one of the lowest mintage issues of the series. In fact, from 1859 - 1876 it is the lowest mintage coin in the Indian Cent series. What's even worse is that during the early 1870's the Mint was melting a lot of previously issued cents, including many 1871 cents. Making the coin become scarcer. A semi key date to the series with possibly about 5,000 examples in existence in all grades combined."

***Auction Highlight*** 1877 Indian Cent 1c Graded f, fine by USCG (fc) Lot #391 (Sale Order 384 of 665) ***Auction Highlight*** 1877 Indian Cent 1c Graded f, fine by USCG. The Key Date to the whole Indian Cent Series. According to Jaime Hernandez from PCGS, ‘The 1877 Indian Cent is unquestionably the most desirable coin in the entire circulation strike Indian Cent series. It is the second lowest mintage coin in the series, and only the 1909-S Indian cent has a lower mintage. Despite the 1877 Indian cent having the second lowest mintage in the series, it also survives in much smaller numbers than the 1909-S Indian cent. This is mainly due to the lack of coins being collected in 1877 compared to 1909. There is only one reverse die confirmed as striking all existing 1877 Indian cents. However, if there was only one reverse die employed to strike all (877,000)1877 Indian cents, then this lone die should have sustained major planchet flaws when striking such a large mintage. Surprisingly, this is not the case since 1877 cents show no traces of a damaged die. Therefore, it is strongly believed that the mintage of 877,000 coins struck, is actually a highly inflated figure.

***Auction Highlight*** Morgan dollar roll ends 1892 & 'cc', Better than average circ (fc) Lot #409 (Sale Order 403 of 665) ***Auction Highlight*** Morgan dollar roll ends 1892 & 'cc', Better than average circ. Great Original Roll of Morgan Dollars. The roll is held in an old "Steel Strong Automatic" Wrapper Dated from 1921. ***Auction Highlight*** 1923-s Monroe Old Commem Half Dollar 50c Graded Choice+ Unc by USCG (fc) Lot #502 (Sale Order 497 of 665) ***Auction Highlight*** 1923-s Monroe Old Commem Half Dollar 50c Graded Choice+ Unc by USCG. One may think that the Reverse of the Two Continents of The Western Hemisphere but upon closer examination you will see that they are two women bent into the general shapes of the two continents. When examining a Monroe Commemorative the cheeks of the two statesmen on the obverse and the figures that represent the two continents on the reverse are the highpoints and will show wear first. Very scarce near Gem Monroe doctrine commemorative. The Monroe is generally found with weak luster and disappointing eye appeal. This example has terrific luster and very nice eye appeal. A premium example.

***Auction Highlight*** 1882-o Morgan Dollar $1 Graded GEM Unc DMPL by USCG (fc) Lot #504 (Sale Order 499 of 665) ***Auction Highlight*** 1882-o Morgan Dollar $1 Graded GEM Unc DMPL by USCG. While the 1882-o is neither a key date nor a semi key date to the series; based solely on this coins condition and eye appeal I must say highlight of the auction. The fields on this coin are not just reflective, but they are actual mirrors. One of the nicest deep mirror proof like Morgans I have come across. The coin has heavily frosted devices. It is very clean for the grade. Accurately graded and while the 1882-o in lower grades is not that rare, in Gem DMPL it is a numismatic rarity. Please check your price guide before determining a maximum bid as well as looking at the large pictures. I give this coin my highest recommendation. A Corey's pick, bid to win, don't let it get away. You will not find its equal.

1837 Webster Credit Hard Times Token Grades AU, Almost Unc Lot #506 (Sale Order 501 of 665) 1837 Webster Credit Hard Times Token Grades AU, Almost Unc. This 1841 “Hard Times” token is from the Jacksonian era. There were hundreds of privately issued tokens that attempted to make up for the coin shortages during this period. They were not only money but a means to spread political propaganda or advertising messages. There are several varieties of “Webster Credit” tokens and they represent Daniel Webster’s advocacy of renewing the charter of the Bank of The United States in opposition to President Jackson. It features a clipper ship with the word CONSTITUTION on its side, surrounded by the legend *WEBSTER* CREDIT 1841 CURRENT. The reverse shows the legend MILLIONS FOR DEFENCE and in a border of stars NOT ONE CENT FOR TRIBUTE. The token is 28 mm in diameter and was struck in copper.

***Auction Highlight*** All Carson City Morgan dollar roll ends 1889 & 'cc' (fc) Lot #529 (Sale Order 525 of 665) ***Auction Highlight*** All Carson City Morgan dollar roll ends 1889 & 'cc'. The Roll is marked Carson City and the Two ends showing are the obverse of an 1889, and the other end has an 'cc' Carson City Mint Reverse. The roll is a solid carson city roll, and Sandi and I guarantee that all 20 coins are cc mint coins. Therefore since we can see one end is an 1889, the roll contains at least one 1889-cc, WOW! We received this incredible consignment from a private collector while at the Baltimore show. The consignee gave us his father's entire estate hoard of shotgun rolled coins. Your choice to open the shotgun roll or leave it as is, but if you do open the Roll, please let us know what you find. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away lot.

1871 Indian Cent 1c Grades vf, very fine (fc) Lot #621 (Sale Order 616 of 665) 1871 Indian Cent 1c Grades vf, very fine.

1872 Indian Cent 1c Grades f+ (fc) Lot #645 (Sale Order 638 of 665) 1872 Indian Cent 1c Grades f+. Per PCGS : "The 1872 Indian Cent has one of the lowest mintages in the series. It is very similar to the 1871, even though the 1871 has a lower mintage the 1872 seems to carry a higher premium in most grades. A semi key date to the indian Cent series with approximately 5,000 coins in existence, in all grades combined. Making a very tough issue."

***Auction Highlight*** Peace dollar roll ends 1934 & 's', Better than average circ (fc) Lot #653 (Sale Order 645 of 665) ***Auction Highlight*** Peace dollar roll ends 1934 & 's', Better than average circ. Great Original Roll of Peace Dollars.
