WELCOME TO THE AUCTION Lot #1 (Sale Order 1 of 613) Just to Reiterate from our terms and conditions: I do my best to estimate the grade/condition of the coins, but please note, unless specifically mentioned in the description, I do not guarantee grade or condition. I DO ALWAYS GUARANTEE 100% AUTHENTICITY, on an immediate buyback including any premium paid. But please understand, if you win a coin and receive it and send it out to one of the grading companies and it comes back graded less than I estimated or "genuine but Ungradeable", we will not buy back that coin. No refunds will be issued. Please understand this and look at the large pictures and make your own decision on the grade/condition. I do my best to give you my best estimate and your repeat attendance at my auctions is what I strive for, so I always attempt to give my best description/estimate of the coins being auctioned.

1927-p Peace Dollar $1 Grades Select Unc Lot #189 (Sale Order 172 of 613) 1927-p Peace Dollar $1 Grades Select Unc. The 27-p is the big sleeper of numismatics in my opinion. It has the 2nd lowest mintage in the whole Peace dollar series. Lower than the 34-s, the 21-p, yet it does not command its proper value. Good coin to own multiple of and save, in my opinion, but if you've been coming to our auctions for a while you will have seen that this has always been my opinion.

1872 Indian Cent 1c Grades vg, very good Lot #190 (Sale Order 173 of 613) 1872 Indian Cent 1c Grades vg, very good. Per PCGS : "The 1872 Indian Cent has one of the lowest mintages in the series. It is very similar to the 1871, even though the 1871 has a lower mintage the 1872 seems to carry a higher premium in most grades. A semi key date to the indian Cent series with approximately 5,000 coins in existence, in all grades combined. Making a very tough issue."

Wonderful example of the first Morgan dollar struck. The 1878-p was struck with 4 different reverses. The first being the 8tf, then the 7/8tf, then the 7tf, then the rev '79. This example of the 8tf Morgan is the lowest minted as well as the most sought after. This example is incredibly well struck. Has blazing luster and great eye appeal. It's semi proof like. A Corey's pick.

1908-s Indian Cent 1c Graded xf+ By USCG (fc) Lot #208 (Sale Order 192 of 613) 1908-s Indian Cent 1c Graded xf+ By USCG. very scarce. Per PCGS :"The 1908-S Indian cent is the third lowest mintage circulation strike Indian cent. The only two other lower mintage coins in the series are the 1877 and the 1909-S, with the latter being the lowest mintage in the entire series." also PCGS estimates only 3000 survive in all grades Key date 1908-s Indian cent. The 1908-s is one of only 2 mint marked Indians in the entire series. It is also the third lowest mintage in the entire series. This particular example is a pleasing chocolate brown color. PQ for the grade. It really does look more AU than XF.

KL#461, FR#910. Teddy Roosevelt inspired gold coins with iconic American images, and this first-ever 1914 $10 Federal Reserve note did the same thing for paper money. The reverse features farming and industry, the two drivers of the economy at the time. The farmers are using real 'horsepower,' and the factory symbolizes American power and ingenuity. This classic note is rarely seen and makes a great addition to any collection. Check out the bold blue Federal Reserve Bank seal on the front. These are part of the last series of large-size 'horseblanket' notes.

***Auction Highlight*** Incredible Find, Unc Morgan $1 Shotgun Roll w/1896 & o mint ends (fc) Lot #250.5 (Sale Order 232 of 613) ***Auction Highlight*** Incredible Find, Uncirculated Morgan $1 Shotgun Roll w/1896 & o mint ends. Great Original Brilliant Uncirculated Roll of Morgan Dollars. The Two ends showing are the obverse of an 1896, which is lightly toned and very clean, looks ms64/65, and the other end has an 'o' New Orleans Mint Reverse, also looking ms64/65. The roll is held in an old "Steel Strong Automatic" Wrapper Dated from 1921. The Roll is also faintly stamped "Banker Trust of Philadelphia, Central City Office, Walnut Street at Juniper". I researched that name and the Bank closed in the post-Crash of '29 Depression period (my research showed that it failed on Dec 22, 1930). We received this incredible consignment from a private collector while at the Baltimore show. The consignee gave us his father's entire estate hoard of shotgun rolled coins. We have had great feedback on the rolls so far. Your choice to open the shotgun roll or leave it as is, but if you do open the Roll, please let us know what you find. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away lot.

1871 Indian Cent 1c Grades vf++ (fc) Lot #289 (Sale Order 270 of 613) 1871 Indian Cent 1c Grades vf++. Quoting PCGS :"The 1871 Indian Cent is one of the lowest mintage issues of the series. In fact, from 1859 - 1876 it is the lowest mintage coin in the Indian Cent series. What's even worse is that during the early 1870's the Mint was melting a lot of previously issued cents, including many 1871 cents. Making the coin become scarcer. A semi key date to the series with possibly about 5,000 examples in existence in all grades combined."

***Auction Highlight*** 1787 States United, 4 Cinq Fugio cent 1c Graded f, fine by USCG (fc) Lot #296 (Sale Order 277 of 613) ***Auction Highlight*** 1787 States United, 4 Cinq Fugio cent 1c Graded f, fine by USCG. Perhaps the most historically significant of the pre-federal United States coins are the Fugio Cents, which take their name from the Latin word fugio (I fly) appearing on their obverse. Though privately manufactured by James Jarvis of New Haven, Connecticut and his partners, the Fugio Cents were commissioned by the infant United States government on April 21, 1787. On the obverse of each cent appears a sundial, as well as the sun itself. On the reverse are thirteen interlocking rings, each of which bears the name of one of the colonies. At the center are the words AMERICAN CONGRESS and WE ARE ONE. This expresses the unity that the American colonies needed to protect their independence. The message was particularly important, since most Americans were loyal to their own state, but they didn't initially feel much connection to the nation as a whole.

1872 Indian Cent 1c Graded vf, very fine by USCG (fc) Lot #298 (Sale Order 279 of 613) 1872 Indian Cent 1c Graded vf, very fine by USCG.

***Auction Highlight*** 1914-d Lincoln Cent 1c Graded GEM Unc RB By USCG (fc) Lot #299 (Sale Order 280 of 613) ***Auction Highlight*** 1914-d Lincoln Cent 1c Graded GEM Unc RB By USCG. When examining a full Lincoln cent series, a prospective buyer will first examine a 1909-s vdb and second they will turn to the 1914-d. The 1914-d is one of the Keys to the series. It is generally found in low grade. This example is an incredibly clean, satin like, Gem red/brown example. A Corey's pick.

This is a beautiful 1955 Double silver mint set and includes 2 of each coin minted for 1955. This lot includes 20 coins, the full p, d and s runs. The 'p' run has: 2 Franklin halves, 2 Washington quarters, 2 Roosevelt Dimes, 2 Jefferson nickels and 2 lincoln cents; the 'd' run has 2 Washington quarters, 2 Roosevelt dimes, 2 Jefferson nickels and 2 Lincoln cents. (There was no Franklin half 'd' mint); the 's' mint has 2 Roosevelt dimes and 2 lincoln cents. Those were the only 2 San Francisco minted coins that year. The coins are in the original cardboard holders with attached paper flaps as issued by the mint. Each holder contains two examples of each coin from the mint where is was made. The holders were placed in storage and shipping envelopes. As in previous years, the sulfur content of the packaging often resulted in distinctive toning on the coins. This is a great original 1955 mint set.

***Auction Highlight*** 1834 Capped Bust Quarter 25c Graded AU, Almost Unc By USCG (fc) Lot #376 (Sale Order 347 of 613) ***Auction Highlight*** 1834 Capped Bust Quarter 25c Graded AU, Almost Unc By USCG. Up for auction is a Capped Bust Quarter. The Capped Bust quarter series is much harder to locate than the half dollar series. The Quarter saw much more circulation in their time than the halves and very few survive today. Up for auction in this lot is a terrific 1834, but heavily over graded 1834 Capped Bust Quarter. I believe a grade of xf40 would be more appropriate. In addition, this ultra rare coin has a 45° CW (clockwise) rotated die.

***Auction Highlight*** 1915-s Panama Pacific Old Commem Half Dollar 50c Graded Select Unc by USCG ( Lot #408 (Sale Order 370 of 613) ***Auction Highlight*** 1915-s Panama Pacific Old Commem Half Dollar 50c Graded Select Unc by USCG. Exceptionally Rare Commemorative. The Pan Pac was Minted Along with 4 Other Coins to Commemorate the Completion of the Panama Canal and Distributed at the Panama Pacific Exposition in San Francisco which also Celebrated the Renewal of San Francisco since the Great Fire. When Examining the Pan Pac Half Dollar, Note that there is a Problem with Pan-Pac Halves in its Strike: Weakness is often Evident on Columbia’s Head, Cap, Arm and Body, also on the Eagle's Breast Feathers and Claws. Occasionally, Coins are seen with a Rim Indentation Near the Periphery on Each Side; this is a Mint Caused Problem and Should Not Be Factored Into the Grade. When Grading Lightly Circulated Examples, Friction is First Evident on Columbia's Shoulder and on the Eagle's Breast.

1871 Indian Cent 1c Grades f+ Lot #458 (Sale Order 406 of 613) 1871 Indian Cent 1c Grades f+.

Today we are proud to be able to offer one of the scarcest large cent. The Classic Head 1814 plain 4 in nearly AU condition. Terrific detail throughout all the devices. Sharp well formed stars. Sharp denticles. Some luster remains in the protected areas. A truly extraordinary find. Please think carefully about a maximum bid as we will probably not be offering one of these for quite some time. Possibly your only opportunity this year to get one. Just for the record and for your information, the Classic Head large cent was only made from 1808-1814 and everyone of those dates is over 4 figures in xf40. All of the shotgun rolls we currently have up are from One Consignee's Estate. This particular Roll shows a 1926 on one end & a ''s' San Francisco Mint reverse on the other end. All full dates. The roll contains 40 pieces.

1863 fourth issue 15 cent fractional currency Grades vf+ Lot #593 (Sale Order 520 of 613) 1863 fourth issue 15 cent fractional currency Grades vf+. Fractional or postage currency has a rich history. At the beginning of the Civil War people starting hoarding coins for their precious metal content. Coins became difficult to find because of the hoarding. People started to try to use stamps instead of coins as a means of commerce. The government decided to help ease the hoarding issue by issuing “paper coins” also known as postage currency or fractional currency. Fractional currency was first issued on August 21, 1862 and they were last issued on February 15, 1876. Fractional currency is physically smaller than other United States money. It also does not have a serial number. These notes were printed between July 14, 1869 and February 16, 1875. Each note will be signed by Allison and Spinner. All fourth issue fractional notes have a red or green treasury seal. They were the first fractional series to incorporate that design element. This is also the first series to issue a fifteen cent fractional note. A prior fifteen cent note had been designed, but it was never issued.

***Auction Highlight*** Solid date Shotgun Roll of 1896-o Morgan Dollars, Average circ (fc) Lot #600.5 (Sale Order 527 of 613) ***Auction Highlight*** Solid date Shotgun Roll of 1896-o Morgan Dollars, Average circ. Great Original Roll of Morgan Dollars. The Roll is marked 1896-o and the Two ends showing are the obverse of an 1896, and the other end has an 'o' New Orleans Mint Reverse. The roll is 1896-o roll, and Sandi and I guarantee that all 20 coins are key date 1896-o Morgans. We received this incredible consignment from a private collector while at the Baltimore show. The consignee gave us his father's entire estate hoard of shotgun rolled coins. Your choice to open the shotgun roll or leave it as is, but if you do open the Roll, please let us know what you find. 1927-p Peace Dollar $1 Grades Select Unc Lot #618 (Sale Order 544 of 613) 1927-p Peace Dollar $1 Grades Select Unc. Second lowest minted Peace dollar in the entire series. Lower mintage than the 1921-p, the 1934-s and the 1924-s.

1982 Denver Mint Souvenir Set Including Special "Bronze" Mint Medal (fc) Lot #662 (Sale Order 576 of 613) 1982 Denver Mint Souvenir Set Including Special "Bronze" Mint Medal (fc). Exceptionally rare, this is the only source of mint coins for 1982. Souvenir Mint Sets are special Mint Sets that were once sold only at the Philadelphia and Denver Mint gift shops. They contain examples of coins struck at the individual Mint facilities. Traditionally sold only over the counter and not by mail, a set consists of the year's circulating coinage of only one mint in uncirculated quality. The Souvenir Mint Set contains five coins and a special .33-millimeter BRONZE Mint Medal that shows the facility on the obverse and the Treasure Seal on the reverse. The coins were sold enclosed in the same mylar packaging as used for the uncirculated Mint set coins, but instead of being placed inside an illustrated, informational folder, they were usually packaged in plain blue or white envelopes with black lettering signifying the Mint of Issue. This set could only be purchased by visiting the gift shop at the Denver or Philadelphia Mint facility. Therefore many collectors were unabe to get one. These sets quickly became popular and sought after on the secondary market. They are very rare and sought after.
