Posed upon a wooden platform with lithographed paper cover are two fur-covered kittens with green glass eyes and hinged head and upper paws, fur cover. One is standing upright with sheet music in one hand and baton in the other, and the second kitten leans over a drum. There are two Christmas trees in the background. When wound, music plays, the kittens move head and arms as though caroling. Very good, somewhat dusty, music and mechanism function well. Attributed to Zinner & Sohne, circa 1890.
