WELCOME TO THE AUCTION Lot #1 (Sale Order 1 of 565) Just to Reiterate from our terms and conditions: I do my best to estimate the grade/condition of the coins, but please note, unless specifically mentioned in the description, I do not guarantee grade or condition. I DO ALWAYS GUARANTEE 100% AUTHENTICITY, on an immediate buyback including any premium paid. But please understand, if you win a coin and receive it and send it out to one of the grading companies and it comes back graded less than I estimated or "genuine but Ungradeable", we will not buy back that coin. No refunds will be issued. Please understand this and look at the large pictures and make your own decision on the grade/condition. I do my best to give you my best estimate and your repeat attendance at my auctions is what I strive for, so I always attempt to give my best description/estimate of the coins being auctioned.

2008 United States Mint Silver Proof Set - 14 Pieces - Extremely low mintage, hard to find Lot #5 (Sale Order 6 of 565) 2008 United States Mint Silver Proof Set - 14 Pieces - Extremely low mintage, hard to find. Many people ask why the 2008 set is so much higher priced than the other near dates. It had a slightly lower mintage, but not drastically. Well I just researched this as I too was very curious and here is the answer. The mint shut down sales of the set in June, 5 months earlier than usual and although the mintage of 1.5 million pieces seems near par with the 2-3 million pieces of other near dates, with the mint shutting down sales and many folks who were collecting the whole series, (this was the final piece to the 50 state quarter series) getting shut out, they immediately went to the secondary market. But most of the 1.5 million sold by the mint went to collectors who bought them to keep and did not sell them into the secondary market. So you basically had a shortage of about 1/2 to 1 million sets below demand. The Set contains 4 Proof Presidential Dollars Including the Inaugural first 4, Washington through Madison, 5 Proof State Quarters, a Proof Kennedy Half Dollar, a Proof Roosevelt Dime, as well as 3 additional Proof coins Including the Sacagawea Proof Dollar coin. Complete with Original Packaging and COA. Estimated Value $50

***Auction Highlight*** 1837 Feuchtwanger Composition 1c Grades vg, very good (fc) Lot #121 (Sale Order 104 of 565) ***Auction Highlight*** 1837 Feuchtwanger Composition 1c Grades vg, very good. Feuchtwanger cents are considered similar to a pattern coin, as they circulated in the late 1830's. They were a substitute for Large Copper Cents. Dr. Feuchtwanger made them out of German Silver (which is nickel, copper and zinc). The obverse depicts Feuchtwanger's favored motif, an eagle with serpent in its talons. The reverse states 'One Cent' surrounded by a wreath, further surrounded by 'Feuchtwanger's Composition'. They are widely collected with Large Cent coins and are a great piece of historical Americana.

One of the most Beloved Commemoratives. A perennial favorite and one of the most popular commemoratives - the Stone Mountain never dissapoints in its desirability. It celebrates the construction of a monument carved into The Stone Mountain outside of Atlanta, except the Monument was not completed till 1970 some 45 years after is minting. The original designer of the monument was discharged after a falling out and went on to create Mount Rushmore. When Examining a Stone Mountain Commemorative examine General Lee’s elbow and the eagle’s breast for the first signs of wear.

1934A $10 Silver Certificate North Africa, Signatures of Julian & Morgenthau Grades vF++ Lot #263 (Sale Order 196 of 565) 1934A $10 Silver Certificate North Africa, Signatures of Julian & Morgenthau Grades vF++. 1934a $10 Silver Certificate North Africa, Signatures of Julian & Morgenthau. It was the darkest days of World War II, just after Pearl Harbor. Were the Nazis under Field Marshall Rommel preparing a massive push through North Africa? If they did, and succedded, they could use the millions of dollars in currency the seized to buy war material. To thwart this, these Silver Certificates were sent to North Africa. Each has a yellow seal on the front. If the Nazis did succeed to over run our expeditiary force, the currency would be demonetized. After the threat passed, most of these "North Africa" Notes were destroyed. Today they're hard to find.

Struck to Commemorate General Lafayette and Help Cover the Costs of a Statue given by the US to the City of Paris. The coins were also to Celebrate the Exposition in Paris in 1900. Additionally, 1899 was the 100th Anniversary of Washington's death. When Examining a Lafayette Dollar, Evidence of Wear First Appears on Washington's Cheekbone and on Lafayette's Lower Curls. On the Reverse, check the Highest Points of the Design—the Boot, Thigh and Rear Leg of the Horse. Also it is noted that this coin has a Few Firsts, it is the First Commemorative Dollar Ever Struck, the First Officially Issued coin to Depict a Former President, and the First Coin to Show the Same Person (Lafayette) on Both Sides.

Signature Clark-Snyder, KL#1620, FR#1508. The note features the familiar portrait of Thomas Jefferson that was used on all of our $2 bills through 2006, and the back shows the Monticello, Jefferson's home in Charlottesville, Virginia. These notes do not have the familiar "In God We Trust" motto above Monticello, though, as that motto was not added until 1957. The Large Red Seal is on the left and is bright. These notes are getting more difficult to come by.

1927-p Peace Dollar $1 Grades Choice AU Lot #335 (Sale Order 256 of 565) 1927-p Peace Dollar $1 Grades Choice AU. The 27-p is the big sleeper of numismatics in my opinion. It has the 2nd lowest mintage in the whole Peace dollar series. Lower than the 34-s, the 21-p, yet it does not command its proper value. Good coin to own multiple of and save, in my opinion, but if you've been coming to our auctions for a while you will have seen that this has always been my opinion.

Great Original Roll of Morgan Dollars. The roll is held in an old "Steel Strong Automatic" Wrapper Dated from 1921. The Roll is also faintly stamped "Banker Trust of Philadelphia, Central City Office, Walnut Street at Juniper". I researched that name and the Bank closed in the post-Crash of '29 Depression period (my research showed that it failed on Dec 22, 1930). The Two ends showing are the obverse of an 1895, and the other end has a near uncirculated 'o' New Orleans Mint Reverse. We received this incredible consignment from a private collector while at the Baltimore show. The consignee gave us his father's entire estate hoard of shotgun rolled coins. We have had great feedback on the rolls so far. Your choice to open the shotgun roll or leave it as is, but if you do open the Roll, please let us know what you find. Shotgun Roll of Indian Cents from Consignee's Estate. Actual roll pictured is the roll you will get. A great bank shotgun roll of Indian cents 1c. From the feedback we have received, the rolls are filled with a mixture of 1800's and 1900's. The folks who have gotten them have also said that they are better than average circulated condition and all nice Indian cents. All of the shotgun rolls we currently have up are from One Consignee's Estate. A difficult to find original roll. This particular Roll shows an 1899 on one end and an 1893 on the other end.

***Auction Highlight*** 1877 Indian Cent 1c Graded vg, very good By USCG (fc) Lot #556 (Sale Order 444 of 565) ***Auction Highlight*** 1877 Indian Cent 1c Graded vg, very good By USCG. The Key Date to the whole Indian Cent Series. According to Jaime Hernandez from PCGS, ‘The 1877 Indian Cent is unquestionably the most desirable coin in the entire circulation strike Indian Cent series. It is the second lowest mintage coin in the series, and only the 1909-S Indian cent has a lower mintage. Despite the 1877 Indian cent having the second lowest mintage in the series, it also survives in much smaller numbers than the 1909-S Indian cent. This is mainly due to the lack of coins being collected in 1877 compared to 1909. There is only one reverse die confirmed as striking all existing 1877 Indian cents. However, if there was only one reverse die employed to strike all (877,000)1877 Indian cents, then this lone die should have sustained major planchet flaws when striking such a large mintage. Surprisingly, this is not the case since 1877 cents show no traces of a damaged die. Therefore, it is strongly believed that the mintage of 877,000 coins struck, is actually a highly inflated figure.

1935A $1 Silver Certificate Hawaii, Signatures of Julian & Morgenthau Grades vf++ Lot #563 (Sale Order 449 of 565) 1935A $1 Silver Certificate Hawaii, Signatures of Julian & Morgenthau Grades vf++. 1935a $1 Silver Certificate Hawaii, Signatures of Julian & Morgenthau Grades. It was the darkest days of World War II, just after Pearl Harbor. Everybody in Hawaii was sitting on pins and needles. Were the Japanese preparing a massive invasion of the islands? If they did invade, they could use the millions of dollars in currency on the islands to buy war material. To thwart this, these $1 Federal Reserve Notes were sent to the islands. Each has a large HAWAII printed on the reverse. If the Japanese did invade, the currency would be demonetized. After the threat passed, most of these "Hawaii" Notes were destroyed. Today they're hard to find.

***Auction Highlight*** Morgan dollar roll ends 1879 & 'cc', Better than average circ (fc) Lot #577 (Sale Order 463 of 565) ***Auction Highlight*** Morgan dollar roll ends 1879 & 'cc', Better than average circ. The Two ends showing are the obverse of an 1879, and the other end has a 'cc' Carson City Mint Reverse. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away lot.
