Grateful Dead Steal Your Face Laminate Print 1985 Lot #313 (Sale Order 13 of 957) Grateful Dead Steal Your Face Laminate art print, "Access All Areas" on the bottom, 1985. Designed for the 20th Anniversary event at Berkley's Greek Theater. This is not the actual laminate, rather the artwork designed by Timothy Harris, given to Annette Flowers, used to create the laminate. This particular piece is featured on the cover of his book, "Access All Areas, Backstage with the Grateful Dead" and is slightly larger than a laminate (6 1/8" x 4 1/4)". As indicated in his book....Train and railroad imagery was often evoked in Grateful Dead music. This pass brings to mind the lyric, "I wish I was a headlight on a Northbound train", from the traditional tune, "I Know You Rider". That wish was fulfilled for the bearer whose photo went right where that headlight would be. On the this and other photo ID badges, a gold metallic STY sticker often was used when a picture of the bearer was unavailable. Print is in excellent condition. Grateful Dead Robert Hunter “ROADHOG” Band Poster Lot #492b (Sale Order 202 of 957) From the personal collection of Annette Flowers, a RARE Poster from The Grateful Dead’s Lyricist Robert Hunter’s Band “ROADHOG”. In mid-1976 the mysterious man Robert Hunter could be seen performing at the Green Earth Café in San Francisco with his band called ROADHOG. Very few people ever had seen the band, and ROADHOG only lasted a few months. Hunter then went off the radar again not to be seen for a long while. This 1976 poster came for the Grateful Dead archives and its almost certain another one will never be seen again. The poster has expected tears, pin holes and stains. Measures 13” X 11”. If you're looking for a RARE piece of Robert Hunter Grateful Dead band history, this is the poster to get.
