1966 Olds Custom Car - VIN 338656Z106179

Lot #17 (Sale Order 17 of 94)

Not very often do you come across a car that is truly shocking-- and for reasons not expected! In this case, one would automatically assume a fine 70s-80s era tribute to the golden age of automobiles like this to be wearing a smooth gel coated fiberglass body-- No, this car is ALL STEEL-- let that sink in for a second and while doing so, take another look at the photos! We here at SG Auction have put a magnet on every panel of this car and it sticks, even the spare tire ring! The manufacturer of the car is a bit of a mystery, however it does look very much like the work of Spartan Motors or Clenet, but it is neither. The car is titled as a 1966 Oldsmobile and the VIN tag matches the title. This running and driving car features a V8 motor hooked up to an automatic transmission. The white exterior showing a few cracks in the paint but is in mostly very good condition, while the light blue interior shows in very good condition. The car also features power brakes, power windows and a removable hard top. Here is your chance to drive by in so much style?they can't look away! Yes, it is all STEEL!
