He was an orchestra leader and a pioneer in radio situation comedy, first with Jack Benny, then in a series in which he co-starred with his wife, singer-actress Alice Faye, for eight years. Harris is also noted for his voice acting in animated films. He played Baloo the bear in The Jungle Book (1967), Thomas O'Malley in The Aristocrats (1970), and Little John in Robin Hood (1973). Antique Envelope Written in General George Armstrong Custer's Hand, Sent to his Wife Libbie Lot #72 (Sale Order 72 of 661) He always addressed his letters to her as Mrs. General Custer. Since he wrote them out like this they are often viewed as close to being his autograph. This is one of the best condition of these covers in existence. In very good condition being open on the left and not torn. Custer is mailing this from Fort Hayes to Libbie while she is staying in For Riley. A few years before he was killed at Little big horn.?
