WELCOME TO THE AUCTION Lot #1 (Sale Order 1 of 543) Just to Reiterate from our terms and conditions: I do my best to estimate the grade/condition of the coins, but please note, unless specifically mentioned in the description, I do not guarantee grade or condition. I DO ALWAYS GUARANTEE 100% AUTHENTICITY, on an immediate buyback including any premium paid. But please understand, if you win a coin and receive it and send it out to one of the grading companies and it comes back graded less than I estimated or "genuine but Ungradeable", we will not buy back that coin. No refunds will be issued. Please understand this and look at the large pictures and make your own decision on the grade/condition. I do my best to give you my best estimate and your repeat attendance at my auctions is what I strive for, so I always attempt to give my best description/estimate of the coins being auctioned.

1966 Special Mint Set 40% Silver Half Dollar Lot #16 (Sale Order 15 of 543) 1966 Special Mint Set 40% Silver Half Dollar. In 1964, just when the mint was removing 90% silver coins from circulation, and the US was having a coin shortage, the Mint announced that beginning in 1965, no Proof Sets, or Mint Sets would be produced, Instead they would be making a Special Mint Set. Special Mint Set coins were not proofs, and were not uncirculated, Mint State pieces. Dies for the coins were over polished, while the planchet themselves were not polished. The resulting SMS coins have a brilliant, proof like appearance, much nicer than the run-of-the-mill circulation coins. In 1965 these sets were released in the Traditional Mint Cellophane and White Envelope and in 1966 and 1967 they were packaged in hard, pale blue plastic holders. Note, the set contains a 40% Half Dollar.

**Star Note 1957 $1 Blue Seal Silver Certificate Grades vf++ Lot #29 (Sale Order 24 of 543) **Star Note 1957 $1 Blue Seal Silver Certificate Grades vf++. When notes are discovered that have been printed incorrectly (such as having the serial numbers upside down, etc.) the misprinted "error notes" are replaced with star notes because no two bills within a certain series can be produced with the same serial number. They are used to maintain a correct count of notes in a serial number run. By their nature, star notes are more scarce than notes with standard serial numbers and as such are widely collected by numismatists. Some of the highest prices paid for modern (post-1928) U.S. banknotes have been for star notes. The note itself is a Silver Certificate. They were redeemable in Silver. One of their most distinctive qualities is the blue Treasury seal and serial numbers. These notes include an additional legend printed on the face that is not present on any other Federal Reserve notes. The legend states that Silver had been deposited in the Treasury and was payable on demand to the note’s bearer.

**Auction Highlight** Morgan & Peace $1 Mixed Roll Steel Strong Shotgun Wrapper w/Covered Ends (fc) Lot #58 (Sale Order 44 of 543) ***Auction Highlight*** Morgan & Peace $1 Mixed Roll Steel Strong Shotgun Wrapper w/Covered Ends Grades. Great Original Roll of Morgan & Peace Dollars. The Two ends are covered. Any dates & any condition possible inside. Note you will receive a roll completely similar to the photo. We have a large hoard of these rolls & they all look exactly alike. We have had great feedback on the rolls so far. Some lucky bidders have gotten key dates & PL's. The roll is held in an old "Steel Strong Automatic" Wrapper Dated from 1921. The Roll is also faintly stamped "Banker Trust of Philadelphia, Central City Office, Walnut Street at Juniper". I researched that name and the Bank closed in the post-Crash of '29 Depression period (my research showed that it failed on Dec 22, 1930). We received this incredible consignment from a private collector. The consignee gave us his father's entire estate hoard of shotgun rolled coins.

This note features the familiar portrait of Abraham Lincoln that was used on all of our $5 bills through 1999, and the back shows the Lincoln Memorial. **Star Note 1957B $1 Blue Seal Silver Certificate Grades vf+ Lot #149 (Sale Order 109 of 543) **Star Note 1957B $1 Blue Seal Silver Certificate Grades vf+.

***Auction Highlight*** Morgan dollar roll ends 1893 & 'cc', Better than average circ (fc) Lot #164 (Sale Order 120 of 543) ***Auction Highlight*** Morgan dollar roll ends 1893 & 'cc', Better than average circ Grades. Great Original Roll of Morgan Dollars. The Two ends showing are the obverse of an 1889, and the other end has a 'cc' Carson City Mint Reverse. We received this incredible consignment from a private collector while at the Baltimore show. The consignee gave us his father's entire estate hoard of shotgun rolled coins. We have had great feedback on the rolls so far. Your choice to open the shotgun roll or leave it as is, but if you do open the Roll, please let us know what you find. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away lot.

1966 Special Mint Set 40% Silver Half Dollar Lot #180 (Sale Order 131 of 543) 1966 Special Mint Set 40% Silver Half Dollar.

**Star Note 1957 $1 Blue Seal Silver Certificate Grades Choice AU Lot #281 (Sale Order 209 of 543) **Star Note 1957 $1 Blue Seal Silver Certificate Grades Choice AU.

Perhaps the most historically significant of the pre-federal United States coins are the Fugio Cents, which take their name from the Latin word fugio (I fly) appearing on their obverse. Though privately manufactured by James Jarvis of New Haven, Connecticut and his partners, the Fugio Cents were commissioned by the infant United States government on April 21, 1787. On the obverse of each cent appears a sundial, as well as the sun itself. On the reverse are thirteen interlocking rings, each of which bears the name of one of the colonies. At the center are the words AMERICAN CONGRESS and WE ARE ONE. This expresses the unity that the American colonies needed to protect their independence. The message was particularly important, since most Americans were loyal to their own state, but they didn't initially feel much connection to the nation as a whole. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest reccomendation

1928A $1 Blue Seal Silver Certificate Sigs Woods/Mellon Grades vf++ Lot #341 (Sale Order 261 of 543) 1928A $1 Blue Seal Silver Certificate Sigs Woods/Mellon Grades vf++. 1928 $1 silver certificates do come in several different blocks. The most common block is the AA block, the IA, JA, KA, and LA blocks also exist, and these are scarcer. The lowest serial number notes were presented to important officials in Washington DC. These were given out in sheets of 12. There are still some uncut sheets that exist. All 1928 one dollar silver certificate notes feature a portrait of George Washington at center and a blue seal on the left hand side of the note. All 1928 $1 silver certificates are known as “funnybacks.” They get this name from their distinctive back design.

1934D $5 Blue Seal Silver Certificate Grades vf++ Lot #353 (Sale Order 273 of 543) 1934D $5 Blue Seal Silver Certificate Grades vf++. This lot is for a great example of the $5 Blue Seal Silver Certificate. Series 1934D, signatures Clarke-Snyder, KL#1655, FR#1654. This note features the familiar portrait of Abraham Lincoln that was used on all of our $5 bills through 1999, and the back shows the Lincoln Memorial. This note does not have the familiar "In God We Trust" motto above the Memorial, though, as that motto was not added until 1957. Five dollar silver certificates were first issued in 1886. The series ended in 1953 with the Lincoln blue seals. Some $5 silver certificates are very popular and valuable. Small size five dollar silver certificates were issued for 1934, 1934A, 1934B, 1934C, and 1934D. The 1953 $5 silver certificate looks very similar to the earlier 1934 issues except that the “5” on the left hand side of the note is in blue, and the seal on the right hand side is smaller.

**Star Note 1957 $1 Blue Seal Silver Certificate Grades xf+ Lot #389 (Sale Order 305 of 543) **Star Note 1957 $1 Blue Seal Silver Certificate Grades xf+.

Great Original Roll of Morgan Dollars. The Two ends showing are the obverse of an 1879 that's near unc, and the other end has a 'cc' Carson City Mint Reverse. ***Auction Highlight*** Morgan dollar roll ends 1895 & 's', Better than average circ (fc) Lot #529 (Sale Order 415 of 543) ***Auction Highlight*** Morgan dollar roll ends 1895 & 's', Better than average circ Grades. Great Original Roll of Morgan Dollars. The Two ends showing are the obverse of an 1895 and the other end has a 's' San Francisco+ Mint Reverse.

1928A $1 Blue Seal Silver Certificate Sigs Woods/Mellon Grades vf++ Lot #677 (Sale Order 508 of 543) 1928A $1 Blue Seal Silver Certificate Sigs Woods/Mellon Grades vf++.

**Star Note 1957 $1 Blue Seal Silver Certificate Grades vf+ Lot #701 (Sale Order 526 of 543) **Star Note 1957 $1 Blue Seal Silver Certificate Grades vf+.

1966 Special Mint Set 40% Silver Half Dollar Lot #708 (Sale Order 533 of 543) 1966 Special Mint Set 40% Silver Half Dollar.
