L. Bacigalupi Organ 46 Key Lot #2124 (Sale Order 147 of 351) Built by the great Luis Bacigalupi, in the West Coast Organ Company, El Monte, CA. Luis Bacigalupi was considered one of the greatest organ builders in the world. He came to American in 1904. He built this organ with his son in the late 1930's and early 1940's. He built this organ for himself but rented it to people in Hollywood and others in his area. You would call him and he would deliver and pick up the organ. Luis was the inventor of the cardboard and roll operated organs. This organ has had stories written about it by the NBSI magazine on at least 2 different occasions as well as by smaller publications. The organ has been in 30-40 and B movies in Hollywood. The most famous movie was Hatari! in 1962, with John Wayne. Henri Mancini was credited as the greatest composer of his time and played this organ in the majority of these movies. He played the tune "Elephant Walk", which was written for Hatari, during the scene where the animals gather at the watering hole. After Luis's death in 1958, the organ was left to his son, Luis Jr. Only a few years later, Luis's health failed. Then he sold it to J. Ward. Mr. Ward created Bullwinkle and was also considered the greatest cartoonist of his time. Mr. Ward played this organ on TV many times on the Howdy Doody and Kukla, Fran and Ollie shows. You cannot find an organ today built with so much craftsmanship with so much history as this great organ. Truly a museum piece that should be shared with everyone. Having the greatest organ builder, the greatest music composer and the greatest cartoonist all a part of one organ. This organ has been in a private collection on the east coast, owned by Dennis Windsor, who's show was mostly history but included his famous monkey, Joey, for the kids. Entertainment for children young and old. Dennis purchased this organ from Mrs. Ward after Mr. Wards death. 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 SC CSX Lot #2160 (Sale Order 187 of 351) 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 SC CSX, this beauty was purchased new in 2008. Carroll Shelby's philosophy behind the 427 was simple: if some was good and more was better, than too much would be just right. Unveiled in January 1965, the 427 sent shivers up the spine of the automotive world. Shelby's 427 roadster became a legend almost immediately, and all of the stories used to describe it were invariably true. These were the fastest production sports cars ever offered to the general public; the likes of which will never be seen again. Exceptional running condition with only 1,385 miles.

1951 International Harvester L110 Model Pickup Lot #2161 (Sale Order 188 of 351) Complete, frame off restoration in 2010-2011. Exterior paint by Marengo Auto Body, Marengo, Illinois. Remainder of the restoration was done by the owner and family. Original straight 6, 110hp, 3 on the column shifter. Power steering out of 1990 Toyota Forerunner. Interior done professionally by an area upholstery shop, Koch Upholstery of Rockford, Illinois. Rims and tires new in 2016. After market stereo and CD player. Magnaflow single pipe exhaust. Gas tank replaced in 2015-2016. While International may have been the last to offer an all new post-war pickup, its tardiness did ensure that it was the most advanced pickup on the market at the time. It was truly an all new truck, from its wide three-man width, comfo-vision cab with two piece rear window, to the one piece left or right side opening hood (just like the Buick), and the silver diamond engine tucked underneath. Upon its introduction in 1950, it was the only pickup to have an all-insert bearing, a fully pressurized oil system, and an overhead valve engine. In addition, the personal truck features a rare, one of a kind, three tone ceremonial paint scheme of red, white, and black. Approximately 68,000 total miles but only about 3000 miles since the rebuild.

Includes the original 1911 Bill of Sale and we believe all parts are in intact except for the radiator cap and bottom seat cushions. The vehicle was a four-seater touring with an 86-inch wheelbase. The original $750 sticker price included the 17 horsepower four-cylinder engine and sliding gear transmission. Another 1911 Hupmobile has a legendary history, one that began the moment it rolled off the factory floor on November 3rd, 1910. Driven by two Hupp employees, this vehicle traversed 48,600 miles, and 26 countries in eighteen months time. It was by far one the longest journeys to date undertaken by any one vehicle, and the first to travel around the world. A reporter from the Detroit Free Press accompanied Joseph Drake and Thomas Hanlon on this historic journey. The car was a standard open touring car without any special equipment. It managed to make the journey with very few break downs, the most serious being a broken rear axle shaft. (Article by ConceptzCarz.com)

Paoli Original Art "Ahead of the Golden Era" Lot #2198 (Sale Order 238 of 351) Paoli Original Art "Ahead of the Golden Era" mixed media on canvas, inspired by Jean Michel Basquiat’s 1982 painting “TWO HEADS ON GOLD” Paoli conjures up the same existential angst JMB embodied but pushes the work further with slightly more realistic tribal faces. Notice the mirror-like approach Paoli took as to admit and pay homage to the original yet insisting on the “more than 50% difference”. Paoli has from time to time worked in part from inspirations of many long gone masters as a way to bridge the gap of time and a desperate attempt at knowing them a little better. 29" x 38" Check out other Paoli pieces featured in Architectural Digest July, 2018 at Wiz Khalifa's LA home! Paoli Original Art "Radiant Child" Mixed Media Lot #2199 (Sale Order 239 of 351) Paoli Original Art "Radiant Child" Mixed Media on canvas, in the summer of 2012, Paoli started shadowing and documenting street art activist "Army of One" Jef Campion. Paoli chose Jef because he was not putting up street art for gallery visibility, sales or personal recognition. His cause was much greater...to bring awareness to the safety and care of children everywhere. After Jef's passing in early 2014, Paoli started assembling thousands of hours of footage of that summer only to uncover all the personal hidden pain and suffering Jef endured while working full time as a fire fighter, 911 responder and a full time volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House in NYC. Paoli painted this in memory of his friend. The documentary can be found at carlpaoli.com. 24" x 30" Check out other Paoli pieces featured in Architectural Digest July, 2018 at Wiz Khalifa's LA home! Paoli Original Art "2 Busters Busted” Mixed Media Lot #2208 (Sale Order 248 of 351) Paoli Art "2 Busters Busted” Mixed Media on canvas, in this parody Pop Art work, the two imprisoned men are worlds apart. Separated by generations of time and ethnicity, yet there they stand as equals in a cell. Buster Keaton 1895 to 1966 and Busta Rhymes born 1972 captured both behind bars and in expression as they portray their most recognizable grimace. Painted in 2007, the 2nd resurrection of street art returning to canvas was explored in many new styles. This one likens itself to the graffiti comic book style mixed with a touch of Lichtenstein. 29" x 29" Check out other Paoli pieces featured in Architectural Digest July, 2018 at Wiz Khalifa's LA home! Robert Morton Organ Co Model 39 Photoplayer Lot #2225b (Sale Order 272 of 351) Built by the Robert Morton Organ Company of Van Nuys, CA. Robert Morton was one of the most prominent commercial organ companies in the United States during the early 1900s. It produced not only organs for churches and large auditoriums but also Photoplayers, organs that also played other musical instruments and sound effects used in silent era movie theaters. After the introduction of talking pictures in 1929 Photoplayers became less and less in demand. Most theaters that had them continued to use them for intermission music but their heyday had passed. This RM Model 49 Photoplayer was originally installed in 1926 at the Lyric Theater in LaPeer, Michigan. (See black & white of the original theater!) It consists of the 3 rank organ console and bench, 2 large instrument cabinets, and a Glockenspiel rack. The instruments and sound effects include: Tympani, Crash, Siren, Sleigh Bells, Bass Drum & Cymbal, Tambourine, Snare Drum, Castanet, Tom Tom, Bird, Chime, and Glockenspiel. The organ also has a dual role "player" capability using studio provided rolls for organ music and sound effects to accompany the movie being shown. The main power is provided by a blower which is included but not pictured. Also not pictured are the 12 base pipes, which are included. The cabinets and organ console are of mission oak design. Overall in complete good condition, it was removed from the theater after closing and reinstalled in a private Michigan home where it has lived ever since. It has not been played in the last 20 years and is untested. The organ console measures 55" wide X 61.5 tall X 48 deep. The original oak players bench is included.
