Lorenz Cap & Ball Muzzleloader in .62 Caliber. This Austrian made Cap & Ball has a 37" barrel length. Stock is beech. The lock plate is marked with the number 837. The barrel is rifled. Bore condition is average. Overall condition is average. Comes with ram in place. Stock shows some checking, has mars. Lock operates. Sights are V notch rear and blade type front. Barrel is part octagon and part round. Metal parts are in the white and show brown patina. Stock has been sanded.

N. Starr Sabre. This sabre was contracted in 1812/13. It is a plain curved, flat blade with a clipped point. Blade length is 34-1/4". The iron hilt has a leather grip. The P proof is found on the outside of the knuckle bow near the bend. The iron scabbard has two narrow bands with rings and thin drag. Blade has been used to chop and has lots of dings to cutting edge. Inspector's letters are HHP (Henry Perkins). Overall condition is below average.

Overall condition is well above average. Blade length is 19" with an overall length of 25". Handle and guard are one piece brass with the fish scale look. Blade is 1-3/4" at ricasso. Comes with cast eagle on pummel. Leather sheath is in good shape. Stitching has separated and brass braids have fallen out. Tip of blade has indication that it was heated at one time.

Blade is engraved and proofed "WB" in inlet circle with gold base. Looks to be British crown on both sides of blade. Guard is brass, Handle is ray skin with brass braided wire wrapping. The left side of front guard rotates to protect thumb. Scabbard appears to be brass or copper coated steel. It is also marked, "Dudley Grand Parade Portsmouth". Has a few dents with an overall condition of above average. Blade shows medium rust pitts with lots of age overall. Handle is missing 1/2" piece at top.

German H. Walscheid 1830's Militia Officer's Sword. This is a unique serpent head with the Arabian style hilt. Blade is highly engraved with a canon and vine and leaf pattern on one side and the other is stars with E. Plurubus Unum on other. Blade is marked "Walscheid". Blade length is 30-1/4" with an overall length of 34-3/4". Blade is in excellent condition with little patina. Handle is carved bone. Guard and pommel are steel. Wire link guard is in place. Handle has a chip where it meets pommel. There is a horizontal crack where handle meets guard. Scabbard is steel and has a place for leather frog attachment. Scabbard has patina over all but is in excellent shape. Overall shape of sword is excellent and rare in this form.
