WELCOME TO THE AUCTION Lot #1 (Sale Order 1 of 719) Just to Reiterate from our terms and conditions: I do my best to estimate the grade/condition of the coins, but please note, unless specifically mentioned in the description, I do not guarantee grade or condition. I DO ALWAYS GUARANTEE 100% AUTHENTICITY, on an immediate buyback including any premium paid. But please understand, if you win a coin and receive it and send it out to one of the grading companies and it comes back graded less than I estimated or "genuine but Ungradeable", we will not buy back that coin. No refunds will be issued. Please understand this and look at the large pictures and make your own decision on the grade/condition. I do my best to give you my best estimate and your repeat attendance at my auctions is what I strive for, so I always attempt to give my best description/estimate of the coins being auctioned.

1925-d Buffalo Nickel 5c Grades vg, very good Lot #2 (Sale Order 3 of 719) 1925-d Buffalo Nickel 5c Grades vg, very good. Difficult date. According to David Hall: The 1925-D is very scarce in circulated grades and rare in mint state. In Gem condtition, it is the second rarest Denver Mint Buffalo of the 1920s after the 1927-D. Well struck examples can be found, but softness of strike on the Buffalo's horn and tail can also be seen on a significant number of mint state survivors. Luster is usually pretty good on this issue with a semi-frosty/satiny look.

1837 Liberty Not One Cent Millions For Defence HT-46 Hard Times Token 1c Grades Select AU Lot #24 (Sale Order 22 of 719) 1837 Liberty Not One Cent Millions For Defence Hard Times Token HT-46 Hard Times Token 1c Grades Select AU. 1837 Liberty, Not One Cent Millions For Defence, Satirical Hard Times Token. It is a rare piece of American history, and a true prize for collectors. The period of economic hardship during Van Buren's presidency (the Panic of 1837) came to be known as the "Hard Times". With America in a deep recession, people began hoarding coins as a safeguard, and small change disappeared from the marketplace. In response, merchants began buying tokens from private mints so they could make change in business transactions. They were made of copper with a reverse similar to legal U.S. cents.

A superb example. According to David Hall, from PCGS The 1932-s is the 2nd rarest of the Washington quarters. There are only two Washington quarters with mintages of under one million coins. The 1932-s has the lowest original mintage of 408,000. This coin is one of the most in-demand key dates of the 20th century. This is a date that has been sought after in all grades since the 1950's. Scarce in all grades.

1926-s Buffalo Nickel 5c Grades f, fine Lot #82 (Sale Order 79 of 719) 1926-s Buffalo Nickel 5c Grades f, fine. To Quote David Hall: "The 1926-s is exceptionally rare in mint state condition and in Gem MS65 it is the rarest non-variety Buffalo nickel and as such it is one of the most important rarities of 20th Century numismatics. I have never seen or heard of a specimen grading above MS65. Strike can be somewhat of a problem with this issue, but not as much so as with teh 1920-s, 1923-s and 1925-s. It's not the strike, it's the fact that not many Gem examples exist at all. Luster is of the subdued semi-satiny type. Excluding the 1918/7-d overdate, this issue is THE KEY date to the Buffalo nickel series."

2007 United States Mint Set - 28 pc P & D Uncirculated Set Lot #87 (Sale Order 83 of 719) 2007 United States Mint Set - 28 pc P & D Uncirculated Set. Starting with the 2007 Mint Set, the United States Mint significantly altered the packaging for the popular annual collector product. This was done to coincide with the launch of the Presidential Dollars series, which had the impact of boosting the number of coins per set to 28. The fact that the sets were the first to include the uncirculated versions of the first four releases of the Presidential $1 Coin Program was highlighted. The Presidents depicted were George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison. Their portraits appeared on the obverse of each coin with a common portrayal of the Statue of Liberty on the reverse. The coin series featured incused edge lettering. The 2007 Mint Sets also included the next five designs released for the State Quarters Program, featuring Montana, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, and Utah. The remaining coins were the Lincoln Cent, Jefferson Nickel, Roosevelt Dime, Kennedy Half Dollar, and Sacagawea Dollar. All coins continued to utilize the satin finish, which had been introduced for the annual set in 2005. Around this time, the US Mint began to refer to the satin finish versions as “uncirculated versions”. The sets were now packaged in two separate blister pack folders. The outer flap included illustrations of the Denver and Philadelphia skylines. Folders opened to reveal 14 coins from each mint, sealed in individual blisters which allowed both sides of the coins, as well as the edges to be seen. The back side of the flap included coin specification information and a certification of authenticity.

It is very similar to the 1871, even though the 1871 has a lower mintage the 1872 seems to carry a higher premium in most grades. A semi key date to the indian Cent series with approximately 5,000 coins in existence, in all grades combined. Making a very tough issue."

All of the shotgun rolls we currently have up are from One Consignee's Estate. A difficult to find original roll. This particular Roll shows an 1889 on one end.

***Auction Highlight*** Morgan dollar roll ends 1889 & 'cc', Better than average circ (fc) Lot #218.5 (Sale Order 219 of 719) ***Auction Highlight*** Morgan dollar roll ends 1889 & 'cc', Better than average circ. Great Original Roll of Morgan Dollars. The roll is held in an old "Steel Strong Automatic" Wrapper Dated from 1921. The Roll is also faintly stamped "Banker Trust of Philadelphia, Central City Office, Walnut Street at Juniper". I researched that name and the Bank closed in the post-Crash of '29 Depression period (my research showed that it failed on Dec 22, 1930). The Two ends showing are the obverse of an 1889, and the other end has a 'cc' Carson City Mint Reverse. We received this incredible consignment from a private collector while at the Baltimore show. The consignee gave us his father's entire estate hoard of shotgun rolled coins. We have had great feedback on the rolls so far. Your choice to open the shotgun roll or leave it as is, but if you do open the Roll, please let us know what you find. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away lot.

Great Casino wrapped Roll. The roll is held in an old wrapper from the "Dunes Hotel and Country Club", Las Vegas, Nevada. We received an incredible hoard of original Casino rolled coins. Multiple denominations. All are from older Casino's, most no longer in business. The consignee gave us a huge hoard of these rolls and promised more. We have had great feedback on the rolls so far. A better than average roll of Lincoln cents. Based on the weight, it is almost certainly all steel cent roll.

(fc) Lot #266.5 (Sale Order 270 of 719) ***Auction Highlight*** Indian 1c Shotgun Roll, 1909 end, KEY date 's' mint on the other, Wow!. ***Auction Highlight*** Indian 1c Shotgun Roll, 1909 end, KEY date 's' mint on the other, Wow!. The roll is held in an old Wrapper. The Roll is stamped "LOS ANGELES TRUST AND SAVINGS BANK, The Bank for Everyone, SIXTH AND SPRING STREETS". Shotgun Roll of Indian Cents from Consignee's Estate. Actual roll pictured is the roll you will get. A great original bank shotgun roll of Indian cents 1c. From the feedback we have received, the rolls are filled with a mixture of 1800's and 1900's. The folks who have gotten them have also said that they are better than average circulated condition and all nice Indian cents. All of the shotgun rolls we currently have up are from One Consignee's Estate. A difficult to find original roll. This particular Roll shows an 1909 on one end and a KEY date 's' mint on the reverse WOW!.

1837 Liberty Not One Cent Millions For Defence Hard Times Token HT-46 Hard Times Token 1c Grades xf Lot #296 (Sale Order 300 of 719) 1837 Liberty Not One Cent Millions For Defence Hard Times Token HT-46 Hard Times Token 1c Grades xf. They were made of copper with a reverse similar to legal U.S. cents.

***Auction Highlight*** Morgan dollar roll ends 1893 & 'cc', Better than average circ (fc) Lot #333.5 (Sale Order 338 of 719) ***Auction Highlight*** Morgan dollar roll ends 1893 & 'cc', Better than average circ. The Two ends showing are the obverse of an 1893, and the other end has a 'cc' Carson City Mint Reverse.

1872 Indian Cent 1c Grades g, good Lot #355 (Sale Order 360 of 719) 1872 Indian Cent 1c Grades g, good. Per PCGS : "The 1872 Indian Cent has one of the lowest mintages in the series. It is very similar to the 1871, even though the 1871 has a lower mintage the 1872 seems to carry a higher premium in most grades. A semi key date to the indian Cent series with approximately 5,000 coins in existence, in all grades combined. Making a very tough issue."

1936 Lynchburg Old Commem Half Dollar 50c Grades GEM Unc (fc) Lot #368 (Sale Order 373 of 719) 1936 Lynchburg Old Commem Half Dollar 50c Grades GEM Unc. The Commemorative was Struck Honoring the Sesquicentennial, or 150th Anniversary of Lynchburg, Virginia. This Issue is Often Found Not Fully Struck, the Highpoints of its Design looking Grainy as the result of Planchet’s Natural Texture still being in evidence. By Not Filling the Dies, this Texture was left intact. Areas in which to look for weakness are Liberty’s Head and Her Thigh, near the Motto 'E PLURIBUS UNUM'. Wear, if any, will First Appear on the Senator’s Hair Above His Ear, also on Liberty’s Head and Chest.

The Two ends showing are the obverse of an 1879, and the other end has a 'cc' Carson City Mint Reverse. We received an incredible hoard of original Casino rolled coins. Multiple denominations. All are from older Casino's, most no longer in business. The consignee gave us a huge hoard of these rolls and promised more. We have had great feedback on the rolls so far. 1914-d Buffalo Nickel 5c Grades vg, very good Lot #438 (Sale Order 445 of 719) 1914-d Buffalo Nickel 5c Grades vg, very good. To quote David Hall from PCGS: The 1914-D is quite rare in circulated grades and is one of the semi-keys dates in the Buffalo nickel series. There were appparently some examples saved in mint state condition although scarce, choice and gem specimens can be obtained. In gem MS65 or better condition, the 1914-D is about equal in rarity to the 1913-D Type 2 and 1915-D.

All are from older Casino's, most no longer in business. The consignee gave us a huge hoard of these rolls and promised more. ***Auction Highlight*** 1799 B-19 BB-155 R-5 Draped Bust Dollar $1 Graded xf by USCG (fc) Lot #454 (Sale Order 462 of 719) ***Auction Highlight*** 1799 B-19 BB-155 R-5 Draped Bust Dollar $1 Graded xf by USCG. Ultra Rare Variety of a very scarce and sought after Issue. Per David Bowers of PCGS. Die State IV: Obverse now with crack from star 2 to hair. Reverse now has crack from rim to right side of D in UNITED. Rare die state. COLLECTING NOTES: 1799 BB-155 is one of the key rarities of the year. I believe that only 70 to 110 exist today. Most examples of the 1799 BB-155 dollar are in lower grades through EF. Only a few AU and Mint State coins exist. In his 1881 Type-Table J.W. Haseltine designated this variety as very rare. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest reccomendation

It is very similar to the 1871, even though the 1871 has a lower mintage the 1872 seems to carry a higher premium in most grades. A semi key date to the indian Cent series with approximately 5,000 coins in existence, in all grades combined. Making a very tough issue." Full Liberty

***Auction Highlight*** 1877 Indian Cent 1c Graded vf, very fine by USCG (fc) Lot #467 (Sale Order 476 of 719) ***Auction Highlight*** 1877 Indian Cent 1c Graded vf, very fine by USCG. The Key Date to the whole Indian Cent Series. According to Jaime Hernandez from PCGS, ÔThe 1877 Indian Cent is unquestionably the most desirable coin in the entire circulation strike Indian Cent series. It is the second lowest mintage coin in the series, and only the 1909-S Indian cent has a lower mintage. Despite the 1877 Indian cent having the second lowest mintage in the series, it also survives in much smaller numbers than the 1909-S Indian cent. This is mainly due to the lack of coins being collected in 1877 compared to 1909. There is only one reverse die confirmed as striking all existing 1877 Indian cents. However, if there was only one reverse die employed to strike all (877,000)1877 Indian cents, then this lone die should have sustained major planchet flaws when striking such a large mintage. Surprisingly, this is not the case since 1877 cents show no traces of a damaged die. Therefore, it is strongly believed that the mintage of 877,000 coins struck, is actually a highly inflated figure. 2nd Lowest mintage and Key to the Indian cent Series. Nice Pleasing Chocolate Brown Color. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away Coin

1837 Shin Plasters, Specie Payments Suspended HT-67 Hard Times Token 1c Grades vf++ Lot #472 (Sale Order 480 of 719) 1837 Shin Plasters, Specie Payments Suspended HT-67 Hard Times Token 1c Grades vf++. Hard Times tokens are privately issued mostly copper large cent sized tokens that were produced from 1833 to 1844. They were made of copper with a reverse similar to legal U.S. cents. This is a Satirical Hard Times Token graded XF+. The obverse depicts the phoenix rising from flames (the flames being emblematic of the opinion that the only fit use for the paper money "shin plasters" of irresponsible banks and private parties was to be burned, and the rising phoenix being emblematic of the resumption of specie payments which was an on-again off-again proposition throughout the years. This design is surrounded by the statement "Substitute for Shin Plasters" NOVr 1837. The reverse states "MAY / TENTH / 1837" surrounded by wreath surrounded by SPECIE PAYMENTS SUSPENDED. On November 27th, 1837 representatives from the leading banks of nineteen states met in New York to determine a date for resumption of specie payments - the date eventually being set as May 10th, 1838. Nice brown color. Good eye appeal. It is a rare piece of American history, and a true prize for collectors. HT-67.

1966 Special Mint Set 40% Silver Half Dollar Without Box Lot #576 (Sale Order 583 of 719) 1966 Special Mint Set 40% Silver Half Dollar Without Box. In 1964, just when the mint was removing 90% silver coins from circulation, and the US was having a coin shortage, the Mint announced that beginning in 1965, no Proof Sets, or Mint Sets would be produced, Instead they would be making a Special Mint Set. Special Mint Set coins were not proofs, and were not uncirculated, Mint State pieces. Dies for the coins were over polished, while the planchet themselves were not polished. The resulting SMS coins have a brilliant, proof like appearance, much nicer than the run-of-the-mill circulation coins. In 1965 these sets were released in the Traditional Mint Cellophane and White Envelope and in 1966 and 1967 they were packaged in hard, pale blue plastic holders. Note, the set contains a 40% Half Dollar.

1932-s Washington Quarter 25c Grades vf, very fine Lot #594 (Sale Order 603 of 719) 1932-s Washington Quarter 25c Grades vf, very fine. One of the Keys to the series. Blast white. Blazing luster. Superior eye appeal.

1927-p Peace Dollar $1 Grades Select Unc Lot #597 (Sale Order 606 of 719) 1927-p Peace Dollar $1 Grades Select Unc. The 27-p is the big sleeper of numismatics in my opinion. It has the 2nd lowest mintage in the whole Peace dollar series. Lower than the 34-s, the 21-p, yet it does not command its proper value. Good coin to own multiple of and save, in my opinion, but if you've been coming to our auctions for a while you will have seen that this has always been my opinion.

1914-d Buffalo Nickel 5c Grades vg details Lot #607 (Sale Order 616 of 719) 1914-d Buffalo Nickel 5c Grades vg details.

***Auction Highlight*** Morgan dollar roll ends 1894 & 'cc', Better than average circ (fc) Lot #648.5 (Sale Order 656 of 719) ***Auction Highlight*** Morgan dollar roll ends 1894 & 'cc', Better than average circ. The Two ends showing are the obverse of an 1894, and the other end has a 'cc' Carson City Mint Reverse.

Webster Van Buren Credit/Metallic Currency 1837-1841 Hard Times Token 1c Grades vf++ Lot #680 (Sale Order 683 of 719) Webster Van Buren Credit/Metallic Currency 1837-1841 Hard Times Token 1c Grades vf++. Hard Times tokens are privately issued mostly copper large cent sized tokens that were produced from 1833 to 1844. This one is for Van Buren Metallic Currency and Webster Credit Currency. They were made of copper with a reverse similar to legal U.S. cents. This is a satirical token. It is a rare piece of American history, and a true prize for collectors.

1925-d Buffalo Nickel 5c Grades f+ Lot #707 (Sale Order 708 of 719) 1925-d Buffalo Nickel 5c Grades f+.
