"Tobor The Great " 1954 vintage movie Lobby Card 11X14 Lot #404 (Sale Order 4 of 80) From the collection of Lauren Chapin is an original lobby card for the movie "Tobor the Great". The film featured her brother Billy Chapin who played the role of Brian "Gage" Robert. It is a classic which uses Artificial intelligence (Tobor the robot) and a Psychic - Emotional bond between Gage and Tobor to provide an sci-fi campy thriller for children and adults alike. Original Screenplay " The Night Of The Hunter" by James Agee plus a reprint of the Theatrical Relea Lot #405 (Sale Order 5 of 80) The original copy of this screenplay was used by Billy Chapin who played the character John Harper. The Night of The Hunter was a crime/ thriller that was produced in 1955 with lead actor Robert Mitchum. It has has heavy user wear as notations and markings were added by Billy and his sister Lauren Chapin. The movie poster is not an original but a reprint and appears to be in good condition except for some fading of color. See pictures for details and condition of items. These 2 items are being sold together as a lot and are part of a collection of Lauren Chapin.

Original Script for "Father Knows Best Reunion" 1977 Lot #408 (Sale Order 8 of 80) This screenplay is Final Draft from 3/2/77 which was utilized by Lauren Chapin, now the grown daughter Kathy of Jim and Margaret Anderson. It stars the original cast of the popular 50's series of the same name. The Script is in well worn condition due to notations and marks written by the user and average wear on the pages. In addition there are 2 photos included, one of the reunion crew and the other of the Christmas reunion show that features Robert Young, Jane Wyatt, Billy Grey, Lauren Chapin and Elinor Donahue.

Lily Rubin Gown worn by Lauren Chapin to the 36th Emmy Awards and Governors Ball. Lot #418 (Sale Order 18 of 80) Lauren Chapin was a presenter for a segment of the Emmy Awards. This was her personal gown made by Lily Rubin that she wore for both events. It is sized as a small. It is considered a Flesh colored fabric with Golden hues. It is formed from a sheer fabric which is fully lined and its designed pattern is made from silvery Bugle beads and Baby Pearls. It has a matching Bugle Beaded belt that is 71 1/2 " long and is made to tie around the waist. The dress has two side slits. From the shoulder to the top of the slit is apporx. 40 1/2" and then from the slit to the bottom of the gown is an additional 14". The arms were adjusted to fit Lauren, and so they have 3 buttonswhich form a cuff type around her wrist when closed. The picture shows the right arm with the buttons closed and the left is with them open like a regular sleeve. There was no cutting on the sleeves. The length of each sleeve is approx. 27". The gown has been kept in her wardrobe and was only worn to the special ceremony. It is in very good condition and it appears that there are no beads missing. Please view pictures for detail.

Original Screenplay written by Albert Barr-Smith from novel " Indian Paint" by Glenn Balch. Lot #451 (Sale Order 51 of 80) A script that was written by Albert Barr-Smith, a writter and producer in the 40's and 50's who passed away in 1970. It was written from the novel by Glenn Balch which was published in 1942. Billy Chapin was hired for the part of a character named Little Falcon, who was the main character in Balchs novel. The shooting of the film had begun but for some reason it never became a marketed film or released to the public. It states it was property of Oscar Nichols and Mic-Cal production inc., but no further information was found on this company. In 1965 a film with the same name was released. The screenplay was written by Norman Foster and produced by Gene Coree. It was also based on the Balch novel but appeared to have a different character named Nishko. This is Billy Chapins script that he used. Lauren Chapin remembered the filming of her brother but never knew what actually happened to the film. The script is in good condition but does have user wear and markings. See picture for details.

Lot #461 (Sale Order 61 of 80) This is a complete shooting schedule and screenplay made up of 119 pages with no cover. It is for the movie "The Kid From Left Field" starring Billy Chapin who plays the bat boy until he is named the head coach as a publicity stunt , and stars such as Anne Bancroft and Lloyd Bridges. The schedule is banded together and does not have an original 3 hole punch cover. It is found to be in fair condition. Included with this item is an original 11" x 14 " Lobby Card from the 1953 sport/comedy movie. It is in good condition with age wear and pin holes. It is being sold together with the screenplay.
