1960 Hillman Minx 4 Dr. NO RESERVE

Lot #411 (Sale Order 25 of 114)

The 1960 Hillman was purchased on Vashon Island 17 years ago I wanting this car because my grandparents had owned one and it was identical to the first car I learned to drive The car was brought to a restoration shop and was going to be restored with all new parts and reconditioned parts A new engine was purchased and the car was disassembled and painted When it was time to put the vehicle together the young woman ran out of money and the shop had to take ownership of the car and was pressed to sell it to regain the money spent on paint and supplies All parts are in the vehicle for restoration ex: all the chrome, trim, lights, new rubber gaskets, dash, bumpers, windshield and glass Everything one would need for reassembly I had good intentions with this vehicle and had always desired to restore it, however I wasn’t able to find the time and the project was too much for me to take on The Hillman was unloaded and parked in a barn, as is, for 17 years The main reason I am letting this vehicle go at this time is due to my health I am battling cancer and my family doesn’t need or desire to have this vehicle anymore I would really appreciate the assistance to find this project car a good home

1973 Jaguar XJ 6 NO RESERVE  1973 Jaguar XJ 6 NO RESERVE

1973 Jaguar XJ 6 NO RESERVE

Lot #415 (Sale Order 29 of 114)

VIN# UD1L72326 BW Miles Shown: 28086 Engine:   4.2 liter Inline 6 cylinder W/ 2 Zenith-Stromberg side draft carburetors Transmission:  Borg Warner 3 speed automatic Color  Silver Upon its introduction in 1968, the new Jaguar XJ-6 replaced all the sedans which preceded it. It has its signature 4.2-liter DOHC six-cylinder engine with anti-dive suspension, power rack-and-pinion steering, power disc brakes, and an automatic transmission. Inside are red leather seats, walnut fascia throughout, plus enough gauges on the dash for a small airplane. The XJ-6 was the last Jaguar designed by company founder William Lyons, and is said to be “a fine balance of refinement, luxury, and performance.” This Jaguar is a very solid car overall. It has been repainted in its original silver color and the paint looks pretty good.  We wish to point out that we found the car had some prior damage to the rear area at some point and left side of the spare tire well and to the rear valance. The valance also has is showing some rust.  The floors and rocker panels look to be solid. The hood, trunk lid and doors look very good as well. The bumpers and exterior trim are in good condition and the chrome wheels look good. The original Red leather seats and door panels are in good condition. The carpet under the Jaguar floor mats is showing wear. The wood trimmed dash looks very good and the switches and gauges are in nice shape. The gas gauge is not working the oil gauge is slow to respond. It looks like the oil gauge issue may be a sender problem. The radio works and the power windows work. The headliner is in good condition. The lights work but the floor switch for low/high beam doesn’t work. The passenger front seat belt/shoulder belt is stuck fully extended- needs a retractor to correct the issue. The engine starts and runs well with no unusual noises or issues. It has some minor oil leakage (British) but nothing major. The battery is a newly reconditioned unit. The transmission shifts properly and no slipping or abnormal noises were noticed. It does leak some and probably needs external seals and pan gasket. The brakes operate with no visible leaks. The pads still have life left on front and rear. The tires are size P215/70R15. The tread and appearance are good but the date code puts them at pre 2000 and probably late 1995 production so they would be ok for display but should be replaced for driving. The car has a clear Washington title and comes with a spare tire and a bottle jack in the trunk. The Jaguar is overall good condition. We recommend new tires and reconditioning the brakes. This car has been part of a large private collection since 2011 when it was acquired from the original owner who kept it for 38 years.

1968 Chevrolet Corvette

Lot #417 (Sale Order 31 of 114)

Anniversary Model Two Tone Silver/ Gray with Red Interior. VIN: 128748S437485. Mileage: 89,253 (original) License: 78VETTE. The vehicle was purchased from the original owner in 2011. The mileage at that time.was 88,796. The engine manifold was changed out by the original owner to a high-rise manifold. However, I do have the original manifold. The rear leaf spring was changed out to a composite one. I do have the original leaf spring. The seats were changed in order to remove the original seats for recovering. This process was not completed. I do have the original seats. I also removed the louvered rear window covering in order to clean the rear window. I do have the louvered rear window covering. I also have the original red T-tops. I had all the oils drained (engine, transmission, rear) and had the oil checked for metal shavings in 2011. There was none. The vehicle has new breaks and a new exhaust system from the manifold back including catalytic converter. Done in 2011. Routine tune up of the engine (including plugs and wires) was done in 2014. Vehicle problems: There is an electrical drain somewhere in the system that causes the battery to drain if not driven for 3 to 4 days. To combat this a battery cutout switch was added. The air conditioner did not work. A new compressor was installed but the system has not been charged so I am not sure if this corrected the problem. The front and rear seals leak if the vehicle sits for an extended period of time without being driven. The dashboard clock does not work. To my knowledge this is a complete list.

Lot #420 (Sale Order 34 of 114)

Car came from Jackson Hole Wyoming *** Believed to be original miles *** and the car drives, and shows as a person would expect a 13,000 mile survivor to be.  She's nearly 60 years old... not perfect, but a VERY nice example The current owners grandparents (she is the executor of the will ) had died in their 90's they Owned the newspaper in Jackson Hole Wyoming, they have 100 acres looking @ teton peak , which is where Mitch Silver (silver Auctions) personally picked up the car The grand parents bought it new, and supposedly only drove it to church & other special functions said the scuffs come from husbands boots because he was always the passenger Deeper investigation does show some light body work has been done to the car, and there is a small rust spot on the passenger side coming through the rocker panel paint Runs and drives incredibly well, power steering, fan, radio, wipers, etc all work as expected We did notice that the dash clock seems to be inop but did not investigate hopefully it's something very simple Underneath the car shows a bit of an oil seep, but it does not leave a spot when parked Recently detailed and buffed out, shines beautifully, interior is immaculate, and it's ready to go anywhere you might want to take it

Its chassis was based on the W 111 sedan platform, with a reduced wheelbase by 30 cm (11.8 in), recirculating ball steering (with optional power steering), double wishbone front suspension and an independent single-joint, low-pivot swing rear-axle with transverse compensator spring. The dual-circuit brake system had front disc brakes and power-assisted rear drum brakes.[10] The 230 SL was offered with a 4-speed manual transmission, or an optional, very responsive fluid coupled (no torque converter) 4-speed automatic transmission, which was popular for US models. From May 1966, the ZF S5-20 5-speed manual transmission was available as an additional option, which was particularly popular in Italy. Of the 19,831 230 SLs produced, less than a quarter were sold in the US.The 2,308 cc (2.3 L) M127.II inline-six engine with 150 PS (110 kW; 148 hp) and 196 N?m (145 lb?ft) torque was based on Mercedes-Benz' venerable M180 inline-six with four main bearings and mechanical Bosch multi-port fuel injection. Mercedes-Benz made a number of modifications to boost its power, including increasing displacement from 2,197 cc (2.2 L), and using a completely new cylinder head with a higher compression ratio (9.3 vs. 8.7), enlarged valves and a modified camshaft. A fuel injection pump with six plungers instead of two was fitted, which allowed placing the nozzles in the cylinder head and "shooting" the fuel through the intake manifold and open valves directly into the combustion chambers. An optional oil-water heat exchanger was also available.Mercedes-Benz Chief Engineer Rudolf Uhlenhaut demonstrated the capabilities of the 230 SL on the tight three-quarter mile Annemasse Vétraz-Monthoux race track in 1963, where he put up a best lap time of 47.5 seconds vs. 47.3 seconds by Grand Prix driver Mike Parkes on his 3-liter V12 Ferrari 250 GT.[12]

1972 Mercedes 300 SEL 4.5 Liter NO RESERVE

Lot #426 (Sale Order 40 of 114)

1972 Mercedes 300 SEL 4.5 Liter VIN# 109057-12-000237 Miles Shown 97339 Engine 4.5 Liter V8 Fuel Injected Transmission 3-Speed Automatic Air suspension Color:  Light Gold Metallic This is an original Washington state car with one prior owner, the car has been garaged its entire life. The car was purchased through Phil Smart Mercedes dealership in Seattle but the owners picked up the car at the Mercedes factory in Stuttgart, Germany in October of 1971, toured the country for a short time and then Mercedes shipped the car to Seattle. The car is an American export model, produced for the American Market with extended WB and the 4.5 Ltr engine. The W108/W109 family was first introduced at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 1965 from produced through 1972. Throughout the entire production run it was only available as a four door sedan.  Late in 1967 the 300SEL 6.3, was introduced. The only outward difference between the 280's/W108 and the 300's /W109 was a more generous use of chrome around the window areas. The interiors found in the W109 where the finest and most elegant of the line. This W109 chassis was only produced in a four door sedan model with the “L” version being about 4 inches longer. The four inches were added to the back door, making the rear seat area even more comfortable for passengers.  The long wheelbase W109 featured on the 300 SEL, which was equipped with self-leveling air suspension and automatic transmission. Approximately 42,000 Mercedes-Benz passenger cars were sold in the United States in 1972. The engine runs smooth and has good power. It doesn’t have any issues when driving. The car a fresh oil and filter change, along with a new a new air filter. The oil pressure is good and the engine temp stay steady at 180 degrees.   The factory A/C blows cold. The transmission shifts properly with no slipping or other issues detected. It does have some leaks but nothing severe. The brakes operate properly and the car stops straight. There are no abnormal sounds or noises detected. This car has air suspension and it does work properly however, with the age of the vehicle, it might need some attention if you start driving the vehicle regularly. This is a very solid good looking Mercedes and the only rust noticed is a minor spot on the right rear door where the belt molding snaps on and appears to be from the clip chipping the paint. The hood has a spot that has been repaired at some point. The bumpers trim and wheel covers are in good shape with only some small dings in a couple of the wheel covers. The carpets are in good condition. The seats show normal wear but are not torn or split. The dash and instrument panel and knobs are all good. All the power windows operate with the exception of the front door.  The tires look good and have good tread and would be ok for display but the date code shows pre 2000 so they should be replaced before driving the car. This car is very complete with a factory spare and jack with mounting present including a factory card with instructions on how to change a tire. Also included with the car are 2 parts books, a set of emergency triangles, wheel chocks, a service and warranty policy book and an owner’s manual that is for a 300SEL with 3.5.

1973 GMC RV Class A

Lot #430 (Sale Order 44 of 114)

This beauty has been pampered and garaged her whole life, and it shows in the clean, well maintained interior and exterior.  A little TLC is all that is required of the person who acquires this oldie but goodie, no lipstick required on this one!  With as few as three owners, each one treating her with kid gloves, she will bring years of additional cruising to whomever relishes in creature comforts with a little nostalgia.  Join the crowd of other proud GMC Motorhome owners and hit the road with pride, as a few upgrades have been added to make your ride even more enjoyable, like the swivel front seats, the bedroom TV, and outdoor stereo.  Most of the past travel has been close to home, so the mileage is low, low, low and it runs smooth down the highway, with nary a glitch.  If age-related troubles hadn’t befallen the original and subsequent owners, this motorhome would not be on the auction block today, this motorhome has faired better than it’s owners!  Maintenance records, instructions, Club news, and operating manuals are all included.

1946 Ford Super Deluxe 2Dr. Sedan 1946 Ford Super Deluxe 2Dr. Sedan

1946 Ford Super Deluxe 2Dr. Sedan

Lot #431 (Sale Order 45 of 114)

1946 Ford Super Deluxe 2-door sedan.  This is a clean, comfortable car.  The body is in excellent condition.  It is all steel with no rust or dents, and doors fit well and close nicely like a new luxury car.  The color is a burgundy that shows more red in bright sun.  The paint is excellent from 10 feet; from a closer distance a few chips and scratches can be seen as shown in the pictures near fenders or doors.  Chrome is clean and shiny.  The upholstery is thicker, stronger and plusher than the original upholstery.  There are no worn spots, stains or faded areas, and  no musty “old car” aroma. The engine is a standard Ford six-cylinder which starts quickly and runs smoothly; however, one can detect the need for some exhaust pipe work.  The car is a good driver and I have used it for that purpose; especially appreciating the aftermarket turn signals. The brake master cylinder and other parts were recently replaced to resolve a spongy brake pedal.    The brake system is now solid and quickly stops the car. The fuel pump, starter, and distributor were replaced to help with the engine starting and smoothness.  The transmission and motor mounts were also replaced.  The tires have good tread and have the Ford Motor Co. logo on the white wall that I wanted to save. The tires were unmounted to confirm good condition and were reinstalled with new tubes and balanced.    I have owned this car for about 5 years and most of my time associated with it has involved cleaning, minor titivation, and short drives of about 15 to20 miles to run errands. The car has been fun to tinker with and drive, and have enjoyed the compliments I received every time the car was out; however I am older than the car and it is time for me to part with it.  This is a great driver, a fun car to take to local shows, and is  a solid platform for addition of the power plant of your choice.

1948 Crosley

Lot #434 (Sale Order 48 of 114)

1948 Crosley Pickup.Crosley was a small independent American manufacturer of subcompact cars which produced a variety of models from 1939 to 1952 (interrupted by World War II). This is a roundside pickup with CIBA engine and 3-speed transmission. It has 6,748 original miles. The previous owner painted the pickup golden yellow. We bought it in Oregon 3 years ago while on vacation. We have recently put in a remanufactured fuel pump and carburetor. We also had the wheels powder-coated and mounted new tires. The pickup comes with a lot of provenance including original service manual, Crosley Quarterly Magazines, and a file of information from the previous owner. This is a fun little pickup to tootle around town in or take to car shows. You’ll get a ton of attention and questions asking what it is. It always brings many smiles!

1948 Oldsmobile Model 66 Coupe DeluxeVIN# 66B1541 Mileage Shown 17986 Engine 238 cu in Inline 6 Cylinder 100HP Transmission Hydramatic Automatic Color Blue 48-3527-body style #. Firewall Trim plate: Style No: 48-3527D, Body No:BF 29, Trim No: 5, Paint No: 21 1948 was the final year of production for the Oldsmobile 60-series cars. The 60-series cars were the smallest in the Oldsmobile lineup featuring the most number of body styles for the marque. In 1948 a Club Coupe, with an original factory cost of $1,609. Optional on all 1948 Oldsmobile’s was the innovative Hydra-Matic automatic transmission added for an additional $175. As a Deluxe Coupe, this car came with a Deluxe steering wheel, foam rubber padded seat cushions, Deluxe instrument cluster, clock and wheel trim rings. All of these items are present on the car. There is a lot going on the Dash in this Oldsmobile and it is just beautiful! The steering wheel is nice and original. The seats have vinyl covers and we do not know what the seats are like underneath, the seat base looks good, covered in the same wool material found on the door panels. The car also has the factory Radio and Heater installed. The door panels are very nice. The front rubber matt is in good condition and the rear floor has carpet which is good. There is evidence of dent repairs on both rear fenders and lower part of both front fenders before it was painted. The only rust areas noticed are on each side of body just ahead of rear fender at the lower body and in the middle floor reinforcement at each end. Floors look to be solid.  The paint shines; it is an older repaint, unknown when this was done.  The glass looks good and all windows operate correctly but there is some delamination at the edges on both door glasses. The exterior trim, the grille and the bumpers and hubcaps are really nice, but do have scratches and a few dents. The engine runs just fine, with are some oil leaks but nothing major.  The engine is complete with air cleaner (not pictured in one photo). We discovered the radiator leaks so it is currently completely drained.  The transmission operates in forward gears and reverse gear.  We did not drive the car due to brake issues so cannot confirm how it shifts driving. The parking brake works but the regular brakes do not.  The car will probably need master cylinder, wheel cylinders and brake hoses. The tires look great on the car (G78-15s) and have good tread. They would be suitable for display but are pre-2000 so we would not recommend them for driving. The car comes with the spare tire and jack in the trunk as well as the original battery hold down. The car has been part of a large private collection for many years and not driven.  It is complete and would be a great car to get driving. Production numbers were low for this model; only 9,326 were produced, so it will be an unusual Oldsmobile to see on the road or at shows.

Leather seats. 2 tone leather seating. Head liner. carpet in cabin and trunk space.Premium sound system with 200-watt amp. This car was painted and the interior was done 6 years ago. The paint and interior is still in very good condition.  It gets many compliments at the local car shows. It drives and runs well. I have put 15k miles on it since I have owned it. There has been general maintenance to this car. the only major issues that I have had was the rebuilding of the transmission.  I have enjoyed owning this car, lots of folks have their reasons not to buy the v12, But I have had a good one in this car.  Hope you enjoy this car as much as I have. 1974 Triumph TR6 Roadster

Lot #470 (Sale Order 84 of 114)

This TR6 is a true classic English roadster. It’s ready to drive and enjoy! It's a French Blue with black interior, powered by the inline 6-cylinder engine and a 4 -speed manual transmission with electric overdrive on both 3rd and 4th The body panels are all rust free, there is some minor sheet metal surface rust in the engine compartment The car is in very good condition, it has been maintained by Brooklands British Cars in Tacoma who installed a new master cylinder, electronic ignition ,and upgraded tubular rear shock absorbers It also has a new tires including the spare The odometer reads 35800 miles but I can’t know that is accurate The engine starts every time and runs smooth It’s very reliable and fun to drive, especially in the country or on a winding road TR6s are easy to maintain, good-looking, rugged and have excellent parts availability It’s what make these cars great to own and enjoy I’ve had this car for 4 ½ years and purchased it from a mechanic in Olympia who owned the car for 10 or 12 years To the best of my knowledge it hasn’t been driven in the rain for at least the last 15 years! This TR6 is an ideal first collector car

1956 Mercedes Benz 220S 1956 Mercedes Benz 220S

1956 Mercedes Benz 220S

Lot #482 (Sale Order 96 of 114)

This is a very solid car, Runs and drives flawlessly. Was restored some time in the mid 80’s and has kept much of the quality. Original engine has been worked over inside and out, carbs have been tuned well. Transmission shifts are incredibly smooth. Brakes have been gone through in the last few months, stops as it should with no noise. The dark red paint could easily be cut and buffed to a beautiful shine with some work, however there are 4 or 5 small digs and a couple light paint scratches. All of the trim is in place and is in good condition minus the top of the rear bumper has some surface rust affecting the chrome. Lights and indicators work fine except pass side directional lens does not like to stay put.The interior is in very good shape nearly new almost, although it seems a rodent chewed up the rear drivers side flank of the bottom seat some time during storage.

1989 Cadillac Sedan DeVille

Lot #484 (Sale Order 98 of 114)

This is a great running and driving Cadillac and floats down the road like a Cadillac should. It is a 2 owner vehicle and has been well cared for. The 4.5L V8 runs well with no issues, the transmission shifts well, and the car’s interior and exterior are in exceptional condition. It seems the serpentine belt tensioner is making some noise and should be replaced soon. Don’t miss this opportunity to own a nice clean, classic Caddy!

This 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa is finished in maroon over a black interior and powered by a turbocharged 2.7-liter flat-six paired with a 4-speed manual transmission The car was likely built as a standard Corvair and fitted with its current turbocharged engine at a later date according to the selling dealer, who notes the presence of a factory-style turbocharger, airbox, exhaust, rear bumper, and valance This turbocharged Corvair is offered in Montana with a clean California title The car was originally finished in black (A) according to the body tag pictured below, though it has since been repainted in a hue similar to factory Madeira Maroon The seller notes that the body tag does not show that the installed Turbo rear bumper, valance, and exhaust were fitted by the factory The car is equipped with factory Corsa and Corvair badging, and Turbo badges have been added 15? Torq Thrust wheels are fitted with modern radial tires. Close-up photos of the black convertible top and plastic rear window are included in the gallery below A matching cover is provided for use when the top is stowed The interior is finished in black vinyl upholstery with matching carpets and retains a factory steering wheel, radio, and instrumentation Approximately 78k miles are shown on the 5-digit odometer A split is visible on the outer edge of the passenger seat The rear-mounted 2.7-liter flat-six is equipped with a single turbocharger and carburetor, and is believed by the selling dealer to have been installed under previous ownership Shifting is through a 4-speed manual transmission Per the seller clutch appears to be worn and needs to be depressed fully when shifting Fully independent rear suspension was new for 1965, and derived from that used in the C2 Corvette Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery below

1947 Willys Jeep 1947 Willys Jeep

1947 Willys Jeep

Lot #490 (Sale Order 104 of 114)

I look for vintage jeeps that have not been modified from the way they came from the factory and are in restorable condition. This jeep met my requirements. The body and tailgate ACM numbers matched, the frame and body serial numbers matched, and even though the engine serial number had been machined away, the engine appeared to be the original one. I purchased the CJ2A project jeep in 2012 and completed the restoration in 2016.The jeep’s last title was issued in Oregon. It was purchased, disassembled, and transported to Newport, Oregon by a gentleman who intended to restore it. He stated it had not been licensed or driven since the mid-1980s.It was sold as a project to a gentleman in Hayden, Idaho who began the restoration by having every part sandblasted and powder coated black with the exception of the body and associated parts which were sandblasted and professionally painted WWII Army green. I purchased the uncompleted project in 2012 and decided to stay with the militarized theme, but ensure the jeep could easily be returned to it’s civilian configuration (Harvest Red with side mounted spare tire). The military markings are period correct for a jeep assigned to the 11th Air Force Emergency Rescue Squadron Commander in Alaska. As a retired military pilot who spent many years flying search and rescue in Alaska, I couldn’t resist.Restoration: The motor was completely restored to original factory condition to include: Cylinders bored and sleeved, valve guides and valves replaced, cracks repaired, head and block resurfaced, cam and lifters reground and polished, crank reground polished and balanced, new cam and crankshaft gears, new oil pump, new fuel pump, new pistons and rings, new starter, rebuilt generator, new water pump, rebuilt carburetor, re-cored radiator, and new hoses. The transmission, transfercase, and rest of the drivetrain was disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and all worn or unserviceable parts were replaced. The brakes (and emergency brake) were completely rebuilt to include all hoses and brake lines replaced. The entire electrical system was replaced with period correct parts. A period correct heater with new core and motor was installed. Period correct rebuilt vacuum wiper motor was installed. Turn signals, emergency flasher, and military period correct taillights were installed. Spare tire was moved to tailgate and a jerry can/with holder was installed per the Willys factory approved method (oak tailgate reinforcement boards). Seats were rebuilt, new foam, new canvas seatcovers, and military style seatbelts added. Period correct emergency tow rope installed on front bumper

1990 Ford Mustang 7-UP Edition 1990 Ford Mustang 7-UP Edition

1990 Ford Mustang 7-UP Edition

Lot #495 (Sale Order 109 of 114)

This 7up car is a 3 owner vehicle. My Father purchased it in 93/94, drove it sparingly. My Father passed in 95, I inherited it, garaged with cover ever since. On a regular basis, it has been started, drove very little, oil changed, also hand washed and waxed. It still smells like new inside the car, white leather is soft, comfortable, unblemished. The car however, has a small list of minor areas that need attention to make it perfect. Full disclosure of what I know. The A/C air conditioning, needs recharging. The tires, which are the originals, have flat spots from sitting and being so old. Right rear tail light lens is cracked. Interior center console has a small mar. Exterior, driver window molding small impression. Engine, rubber guard that covers, I believe A/C hose, portion is missing. In almost 25 years of being covered and pampered, things do go wrong!! This is a beautiful car that needs a new home.

1994 Spartan II 1994 Spartan II

1994 Spartan II

Lot #498 (Sale Order 112 of 114)

This car has been called the ultimate in a luxury/sports car! The Spartan comes from the mind of Ron Sparks who had been working for companies that hand-built cars in southern California for years. Mr. Sparks became unhappy with the quality of construction of these cars and knowing he could make a better car struck out on his own and opened Spartan Motorcars in San Marcos CA. Approximately 350 Spartan and Spartan II were made over the years and many of the Hollywood elite and professional athletes have owned one. Mr. Sparks started this build with quality as a base by using a 1986 Nissan 300ZX frame interior and drive train. Under the hood is the same 3 Liter V6 that powered the 300ZX. Backing this smooth power plant is a four speed automatic transmission that multiplies the revolutions. This impressive Spartan is 204 inches long, that's 17 feet! But thanks to the fiberglass body it weighs in at only 3675 pounds. This long lean Spartan slides down the road with ease smoothing out all the bumps. The quiet cabin has the 2+2 option so there is room for four to enjoy all the leather and burl wood. This has also been equipped with the optional T-top for extra sportiness and good looks. Options for this 1994 Spartan II include: Power windows, power leather seats, power locks, power mirrors, power steering and power brakes. Cruise control AM/FM stereo with cassette player. Air conditioning, leather interior with burl wood accents. T- tops, actual wire wheels and white wall radial tires to name a few.
