Marks: A 5 T. There is a hairline at the back of head, complexion overpaint (brows, lashes and lips have original finish), shoulderplate and bisque hands excellent, kid body original but worn, doll is sold as is. Andre Thuillier, circa 1880, a very beautiful example of the rare early French bebe.

Kestner, circa 1910, the doll is modeled after the drawings of Charles Dana Gibson, depicting a snobby society lady; this example is wonderfully preserved.
