Description: The old master salts are very nice. The silver has a classic old luster not found in later silver. The feet are a hoof with shell tops. Condition is very good. One of these has a very small pin point shallow dent, so small you have to search for it.

Description: This set of 6 tumblers is very old - 19th Century. The deep red coloring is remarkable. It has that orangy gold transparency (see photo #2) at the edges, similar to the early amberina reds. These are possibly Sandwich Glass, but I have never contacted the Sandwich Glass Museum to confirm this. If any of you know more, please contact me. These are from my own family, but no one knows much about them, other than that they were called the "antique" glasses & used in the 1920s & before.

Description: Here is a beautiful, unique Victorian locket from Karlsbad. 36 deep, red almandine garnets circle the locket and top the bale. Dating from 1865 to 85, the agate back opens to place a picture or locket of hair. Karlsbad was a top resort for the wealthy of the time - mountains, winter snow, summer relaxation. The locket is 1 3/4" total length - the locket alone is 1 7/8".long. This is a rare and lovely piece - in very good condition.

Its origin is from Uzbekistan, and the suzani is mainly produced in the following cities: Tashkent, Buchara and Smarkand. 150 years ago, women didnÂ’t go to school. As a result, their main employment was to weave. This occupation was taught by a mother to her daughter and so on. The fabric itself was woven in a loom and its width was between 20 cm-50cm. After the suzani was woven, the strips were attached together. The embroidery threads were woven from silk worm and they were painted by natural colors.
