WW2 German Artillery Captain's M41 Uniform Jacket-361st Artillery Battalion Lot #17 (Sale Order 18 of 203) 6 button front with M36 bottle green collar added by Officer. The piping on the sew in shoulder boards has faded slightly giving them an almost pink appearance. Iron Cross 2nd class ribbon is sewn through the third button hole. Original WW2 M35 German Helmet-With Liner/Chin Strap-SS Decals Lot #28 (Sale Order 29 of 203) First of all, this is an original M35 helmet with original liner and chin strap. The shell is maker/size stamped Q64 and has an early 3 digit lot number of 761. The liner is still supple and is named-It is hard to make out but appears to be a non German name-Possibly foreign volunteer? As stated earlier, Shell, liner and chin strap and exterior apple green finish are original. The SS and Party decals both have spots of lacquer that was not wiped off when decals were applied and the lacquer has darkened with age. Possibly from an SS training barracks? Possibly field applied? Why mess up a good Heer double decal? We have shown this helmet to a handful of advanced helmet collectors that we trust and have had different assessments, So, we will leave the final decision to the bidders! SA Dagger For Lower Ranks-RZM M7/85 (Arthur Evertz) W/Gold Plated Fittings Lot #29 (Sale Order 30 of 203) Late war RZM SA Dagger for lower ranks-Original dagger and scabbard. The fittings have been gold plated. This was done very early post war for more souvenir appeal to the occupation soldiers which makes this dagger collectible in it's own right. The finish has flaked off in several spots and shows bubbling in other spots. The blade shows age spotting. painted scabbard is dent free. The lower scabbard fitting does have a small dent at the ball. Some early collectors stuck to the adage that these were gold plated to simulate the finish on the more scarce SA Marine dagger. Unique collectible example. Try to find another one!

The Nazi Party began its evolution in 1920 after the First World War: Adolf Hitler took over its leadership in 1921 and remained its figurehead until his suicide in 1945. The buckle is square and features a raised swastika at its center.

Bullion Air Corp Officer's collar insignia on each lapel. Bullion 1st Lt. rank insignia on each shoulder and a theater made bullion 9th Army Air Forces patch on left shoulder. Sewn on ribbon bars are the DFC, Air Medal with 4 oak leaf clusters and ETO ribbon with one large size battle star. Full size 3" wings are sterling hallmarked in raised relief and have a 90 degree opening pin with locking clasp. In excellent overall condition showing very minimal wear.

Lot #50 (Sale Order 52 of 203) 100% original WWII U.S. Army General Officer's Khaki Overseas cap named to Major General John B. Wogan. The 2 General's rank stars are hallmarked GEMSCO STERLING and have 90 degree pins with locking clasp. The interior tailor tag is stamped with Wogan's name and serial number. This cap was acquired directly from the estate of Wogan and is 200% guaranteed to be WW2 period and owned/worn by Major General Wogan. Wogan was the commanding WW2 General of the 13th Armored Division and was wounded by sniper fire during the Ruhr Pocket Campaign. General Wogan never really recovered from his wound and retired to the area in North Carolina our Auction Company is located. Amazing piece of history! Google him and there is a lot of info.

PFC rank stripes on each sleeve applied with the XX victory stitching. 6 ribbon bars-American Defense with one star, Asiatic Pacific Campaign with one battle star-Occupation ribbon and Korean War related ribbons. The contract tag is "washed" out but this appears to be a WW2 issue ike jacket that has been modified by adding a front zipper and snaps. We could not determine the maker as the stamping is incomplete on the brass oval cross guard. This knife was part of a museum deaccession. The scabbard has "ENG COMMANDO 1943" written on the reverse. This pommel nut is an unusual variation. Many different companies made these and some were private purchased. Please bid based on your own knowledge and/or research.

The art work on the B4 bag shows the battle lineage that this soldier was part of as well as the hand painted 1st and 94th Division insignia on one side and the hand painted 26th Infantry Regiment "Blue Spaders" on the other side. The dog tags and B4 bag are named to Joseph Omek P.F.C. Although Joseph is spelled differently on the bag (Josef) This is an original grouping to same soldier. Although the B4 bag has seen better days the artwork is still vivid. Nice named grouping!

UNKNOWN Military Style Dagger With Scabbard Lot #182 (Sale Order 185 of 203) Here is a head scratcher-We could not find any similar examples while researching. Not sure what period or country. Possibly Polish? Czech? Grip is wood with dark blue enamel paint. It is grooved with triple wire wrap. Cross guard and pommel cap fittings are thin stamped metal and cross guard is hollow. Thin sheet brass scabbard has military motif on both sides. One side has planes and tanks and the other has planes and ships. There is a Lion's head at top of scabbard on one side and what may be some type of Condor..Brazil..Chile..? The blade has an offset ricasso which turns into a long double edged spear point and is chrome plated. Please see photos.

Named WW2 USN Officer LTJG Black Wool Overcoat/White Dress Summer Jacket & Pants Lot #197 (Sale Order 200 of 203) Overcoat is a nice larger size 40L. The shoulder boards are Lt. JG with stars for line officer. The LTJG cuff rank stripes are braided. The 1944 dated letter was found in the interior breast pocket. The summer white dress jacket and pants both show soiling. The jacket cuff has a tailor tag for when this officer was an Ensign. All three pieces are named to WW2 USN Officer D.J. Thurman
