ATTN BUYERS: THESE FIREARMS ARE BEING SHIPPED FROM CALIFORNIA, AND ALTHOUGH YOU MAY NOT HAVE THE SAME LAWS IN YOUR STATE, CALIFORNIA REQUIRES WE MEET CERTAIN CRITERIA WHEN SHIPPING FIREARMS & AMMUNITION IN OR OUT OF STATE. ALONG WITH MEETING STRICT GUIDELINES THERE IS A COST OF DOING BUSINESS IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, THEREFORE THE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PURCHASING A FIREARM AT OUR AUCTION WILL BE:
1. A $40 "handling fee" will be added to the purchase price for Processing, Holding & Storing firearms prior to shipping as all firearms in the State of California must be under the supervision of a licensed firearms dealer.
2. California law requires all Handguns shipping in or out of the state to be shipped "2 day air" Long guns may be shipped by ground. Buyer is responsible for cost of shipping of all items purchased.
3. OUT OF STATE BUYERS FOR FIREARMS AND AMMO. Contact a licensed FFL dealer in your state and make arrangements for them to receive your firearms or ammo. We will require a copy of their FFL license, please email to fpc.tjo@gmail.com. Items will be shipped by Firearms Performance Center Chula Vista, CA 91914. Be sure you are qualified and can register your gun purchases in California or other states prior to bidding.
4. Local Pick-up Buyers: The Department of Justice will charge a $25 fee for processing the DROS (dealer record of sale) paperwork. You will have a 10-day waiting period before receiving your firearm as per California law, be sure to come in Monday or Tuesday following the auction to register your firearm and fill out qualifying paperwork, DROS fee will be paid at that time.
Items needed to complete paperwork will be: Purchasers of handguns must provide proof of California residency, such as a current unexpired utility bill, residential lease, property deed, or government-issued identification (other than a driver license or other DMV-issued identification), and possess a Firearms Safety Certificate. Safety Certificate tests can be taken at Firearms Performance Center prior to registration.
