WELCOME TO THE AUCTION Lot #1 (Sale Order 1 of 472) Just to Reiterate from our terms and conditions: I do my best to estimate the grade/condition of the coins, but please note, unless specifically mentioned in the description, I do not guarantee grade or condition. I DO ALWAYS GUARANTEE 100% AUTHENTICITY, on an immediate buyback including any premium paid. But please understand, if you win a coin and receive it and send it out to one of the grading companies and it comes back graded less than I estimated or "genuine but Ungradeable", we will not buy back that coin. No refunds will be issued. Please understand this and look at the large pictures and make your own decision on the grade/condition. I do my best to give you my best estimate and your repeat attendance at my auctions is what I strive for, so I always attempt to give my best description/estimate of the coins being auctioned.

1864 L Indian Cent 1c Grades f+ Lot #87 (Sale Order 81 of 472) 1864 L Indian Cent 1c Grades f+. Very scarce 1864 L on ribbon Indian cent variety. According to David Hall, ÒThe 1864-L is scarce in circulated grades and very scarce in mint state. However, its price has as much to do with its popularity and importance to collectors as it does with its scarcity. All 1864-L Indian cents have a pointed bust on Ms. Liberty, while the no LÕs have a rounded bust. So sometimes low grades are designated (correctly) as LÕs even if you can't really see the L. Ultra Rare; Pointed Bust

1855 Braided Hair Half Cent 1/2c Grades xf+ Lot #123 (Sale Order 117 of 472) 1855 Braided Hair Half Cent 1/2c Grades xf+. Per Ron Guth of PCGS : The Braided Hair half cents boast some of the lowest mintages of any U.S. coin types and are among the best values, as well. Every date in this type boasts a low mintage. By way of comparison, the mintage of the any Braided hair Half Cent is almost a fraction of the mintage of the 1909-S VDB Lincoln Cent (a far more valuable coin), making this an excellent value. *Auction Highlight* Morgan & Peace $1 Mixed Roll Steel Strong Shotgun Wrapper w/Covered Ends (fc) Lot #134.5 (Sale Order 129 of 472) *Auction Highlight* Morgan & Peace $1 Mixed Roll Steel Strong Shotgun Wrapper w/Covered Ends. Great Original Roll of Morgan & Peace Dollars. The Two ends are covered.ÊAny dates & any condition possible inside. Note you will receive a roll completely similar to the photo. We have a large hoard of these rolls & they all look exactly alike. We have had great feedback on the rolls so far.Ê Some lucky bidders have gotten key dates & PL's. The roll is held in an old "Steel Strong Automatic" Wrapper Dated from 1921. The Roll is also faintly stamped "Banker Trust of Philadelphia, Central City Office, Walnut Street at Juniper". I researched that name and the Bank closed in the post-Crash of '29 Depression period (my research showed that it failed on Dec 22, 1930). We received this incredible consignment from a private collector. The consignee gave us his father's entire estate hoard of shotgun rolled coins.

***Auction Highlight*** Take Ayer's Pills, 3c Rose (EP9) Encased Postage 3c Grades vf++ (fc) Lot #145 (Sale Order 140 of 472) ***Auction Highlight*** Take Ayer's Pills, 3c Rose (EP9) Encased Postage 3c Grades vf++. Not strictly stamps, coins or paper money. Encased Postage became, for a brief period, a medium with which to buy and trade goods and services. In early July 1862, shortly after the beginning of the Civil War, there was virtually no gold, silver or copper coins available for use of trade or to give change. If one was fortunate or wealthy enough to own ÔÕgreenbacks,Ó there was a premium to buy federal coins. Coins were being hoarded, which made it increasingly difficult to pay for daily needs such as haircuts, milk and the like. At this time some enterprising merchants issued scrip with values up to a dollar advertising their wares, and later tokens also came to the market place. It was during this period that Fractional or Postage Currency notes were developed in the form of small pieces of paper. The latter showed current issues of stamps with their values, thus representing an exchangeable and accepted piece of currency. Originally distributed to Army paymasters, it was not until later, September 1862, that these notes were distributed to the general public. Other actions by the federal government eventually led to the Act of July 17, 1862 which provided for the use of postage stamps as monetary vehicles and thus Encased Postage entered the foray. Due to the fragility of postage stamps, a method of protection had to be developed to prolong their useful life, thus came about the encasing of the stamps. John Gault received a patent; No, 1627 on August 2, 1862. His encasing unit comprised two discs of brass about the size of a quarter, the stamp with itÕs four corners folded down was placed between a mica face, a piece of cardboard against the back side, thus sealing the stamp between the two brass discs. The back casing was left blank in order to allow advertisements by interested parties, for a fee of course. So is it a coin, a stamp or a bank note? We do know that these relics of our past are collected by enthusiasts in all fields and that ÒthereÕs still gold in them there hills!Ó A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away Coin

1925-d Buffalo Nickel 5c Grades vf++ Lot #203 (Sale Order 200 of 472) 1925-d Buffalo Nickel 5c Grades vf++. Difficult date. According to David Hall: The 1925-D is very scarce in circulated grades and rare in mint state. In Gem condtition, it is the second rarest Denver Mint Buffalo of the 1920s after the 1927-D. Well struck examples can be found, but softness of strike on the Buffalo's horn and tail can also be seen on a significant number of mint state survivors. Luster is usually pretty good on this issue with a semi-frosty/satiny look. Much tougher Date

The 27-p is the big sleeper of numismatics in my opinion. It has the 2nd lowest mintage in the whole Peace dollar series. Lower than the 34-s, the 21-p, yet it does not command its proper value. Good coin to own multiple of and save, in my opinion, but if you've been coming to our auctions for a while you will have seen that this has always been my opinion. Second lowest mintage; Blazing luster

*Auction Highlight* 5c Jefferson Red Brown, Ribbed Frame (EP96a) Encased Postage 5c Grades xf+ (fc) Lot #231 (Sale Order 228 of 472) *Auction Highlight* 5c Jefferson Red Brown, Ribbed Frame (EP96a) Encased Postage 5c Grades xf+. We do know that these relics of our past are collected by enthusiasts in all fields and that ÒthereÕs still gold in them there hills!Ó A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

Mixed small cents 1c orig shotgun roll, 1919-s Wheat Cent, 1896 Indian Cent other end Lot #239 (Sale Order 236 of 472) Mixed small cents 1c orig shotgun roll, 1919-s Wheat Cent, 1896 Indian Cent other end. The roll is held in an old, rare and collectible Coca-Cola wrapper. Actual roll pictured is the roll you will get. A great original bank shotgun roll with very tight ends. We have been getting excellent feedback on these rolls. Were being told that close to half the roll are teens, some with mintmarks, there are a few Indians in all the rolls, most of the rolls have steel cents. They seem to be PQ Wheaties rolls. These shotgun rolls are all from a new consignee. They are all frrom one Estate.

1926-s Buffalo Nickel 5c Grades vf+ Lot #258 (Sale Order 254 of 472) 1926-s Buffalo Nickel 5c Grades vf+. To Quote David Hall: "The 1926-s is exceptionally rare in mint state condition and in Gem MS65 it is the rarest non-variety Buffalo nickel and as such it is one of the most important rarities of 20th Century numismatics. I have never seen or heard of a specimen grading above MS65. Strike can be somewhat of a problem with this issue, but not as much so as with teh 1920-s, 1923-s and 1925-s. It's not the strike, it's the fact that not many Gem examples exist at all. Luster is of the subdued semi-satiny type. Excluding the 1918/7-d overdate, this issue is THE KEY date to the Buffalo nickel series."

1853 Braided Hair Half Cent 1/2c Grades vf+ Lot #278 (Sale Order 273 of 472) 1853 Braided Hair Half Cent 1/2c Grades vf+.

***Auction Highlight*** Morgan & Peace $1 Mixed Roll Steel Strong Shotgun Wrapper w/Covered Ends (fc Lot #279 (Sale Order 274 of 472) ***Auction Highlight*** Morgan & Peace $1 Mixed Roll Steel Strong Shotgun Wrapper w/Covered Ends.

***Auction Highlight*** 1922 No D Lincoln Cent 1c Graded f+ By USCG (fc) Lot #359 (Sale Order 349 of 472) ***Auction Highlight*** 1922 No D Lincoln Cent 1c Graded f+ By USCG. It exhibits all the die characteristics which define the 1922 Plain. When looking at a 1922 look for the following to determine if it is the 1922 Plain which is also known as Die Pair #2: Absolutely no trace of a D, Second 2 in date is sharper than the first 2, All letters in TRUST are sharp, WE is only slightly mushy, L in LIBERTY butts up against the rim, Reverse is sharp with nice wheat lines. According to Jaime Hernandez from PCGS, ÔThe 1922 No D Lincoln cent is the only circulation strike coin, in the entire Lincoln cent series which lacks its intended mint mark. In 1922, the Denver Mint was the only Mint which produced cents for that year. Consequently, all 1922 cents should bare the D mint mark. However, since the Denver Mint was under extreme pressure to produce cents for that year, there was a lot of sloppiness in the production process. The 1922 No D Lincoln cent has always been recognized as a major variety within the Lincoln cent series. Due to its popularity this coin has always commanded a hefty premium. The 1922 No D Strong Reverse Lincoln cent is very challenging to acquire due to its high value in any grade. Strong Rev; Ultra Rare A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win Coin

*Auction Highlight* NA Life Ins. Co., 3c Rose, Str.Ê"INSURANCE"EP141 Encased Postage 3c Grades f+ fc Lot #368 (Sale Order 358 of 472) *Auction Highlight* NA Life Ins. Co., 3c Rose, Str.Ê"INSURANCE"EP141 Encased Postage 3c Grades f+. We do know that these relics of our past are collected by enthusiasts in all fields and that ÒthereÕs still gold in them there hills!Ó A Corey's Pick
