1955 Chevy 210 2 Door Sedan Lot #6 (Sale Order 7 of 41) VIN# B55S034492; TMU; 350 engine that was removed in April 2015 and fitted with new bearings, rings, valve train, changed camshaft, and gaskets. Flat top pistons with 11:1 compression, GM Vortec cylinder heads, MSD HEI ignition, Edelbrock air gap intake with a Holley 650 model 4150 carburetor. Car does have nitrous but never been used, Builder added this for looks to fit the pro-street look. About 500 miles since this work was done.
Turbo 350 3 speed automatic transmission; Griffin radiator with electric fan; 4 link rear suspension with a QA1 coil over kit. Rear end is a narrowed Ford 9" with 31 spline axles and a Currie center section. Gear ratio is 3.75.
4 wheel power disc brakes. GM on the front, Wilwood on the rear, with a Wilwood master cylinder.
Air conditioning and heat function;
Billet Specialty wheels. 15X14 on rear with 31x16.50R15 Hoosier radial tires. 15X7 on front with Firestones.

The Butterfields operated a tap and die business, manufacturing tools for the auto industry. They were at least an acquaintance, if not a friend, of Henry Ford. The car was called “Kittemaug” and was a utility vehicle for their summer estate on Lake Memphremagog and for Mrs. Butterfield. Sadly in the first decade of its life, "Kitty" was cut down to serve as a pickup. Much of the wood was saved and used when restoring the vehicle. The original front doors were rotted and reproduction doors were used. The rear doors, tailgate are original. The rear quarter panels were lost and are reproductions. It was a labor of love for 12 years to bring the project to this stage. The engine was totally rebuilt. In 1965, I was on my way back to Boston where I was a student, when I was stopped by police for driving 85 mph on I-93! The car is fun to drive and certainly causes heads to turn!"
