This Ford Cosworth DFV 060 engine block was prepared by Nicholson McLaren engines and used during the 1974 Formula One Grand Prix season by Mike Hailwood, Emerson Fittipaldi, Denny Hulme and David Hobbs.  In 1975 it was used by Jochen Mass and blown up by Emerson Fittipaldi at Zandvoort in the Dutch Grand Prix when all were driving for the Mclaren Racing team. The table includes an Inscription of Authenticity built into the engine block itself. Each of the seven drawers is foam-lined.

At the sixth round of the season of 1992 at Monaco, Nigel Mansell set fastest lap in practice and lead from pole until just a few laps from the end when he was forced to pit and gift the lead to the slower Ayrton Senna. Signed and framed, Sir Stirling Moss race overalls used in the early 1980s. These overalls were also worn by Sir Stirling on the cover of his book ‘Racing and All That’ by himself and Mike Hailwood. They were originally donated, along with a Letter of Authenticity, by Sir Stirling in May 1996, as he was unable to attend the Macmillan Observer Corporate Challenge. Our vendor purchased the lot at the charity event, contacted Sir Stirling, and was lucky enough to visit him at his home where the overalls were signed in the late 1990s and an image is provided of this signing.

A glazed production featuring a magnesium wheel nut from McLaren F1 prototype chassis XP3 complete with a Letter of Authenticity from McLaren, circa 1990, referring to the record-breaking 231mph run at Nardo, Italy, whilst being driven by Dr Jonathan Palmer, McLaren F1 test driver. Framed and glazed in a black box frame along with McLaren F1 designer Gordon Murray's signature and an image of the actual XP3 car which was owned by Gordon after the project.

This wheel nut was donated by McLaren to a charity auction and purchased by renowned motoring journalist Eoin Young.
