2019 Bugatti Chiron Sport 110 ANS

Lot #100 (Sale Order 1 of 68)

Aspiring to continue to push the automotive envelope, Bugatti’s engineers were keenly looking to the future and began working on the Veyron’s successor soon after the Veyron itself entered production. They knew that the car would need to be faster and more technologically advanced than its predecessor, but Bugatti’s engineers rose to the occasion, and the Chiron upped the ante in every regard. Named after the famed Monegasque racing driver Louis Chiron, it was first introduced to the public at the Geneva Motor Show in 2016.

Having learned numerous lessons with the Veyron through their own testing as well as customer feedback, Bugatti used that car as a starting point and managed to find an additional 300 bhp within their quad-turbocharged W-16 engine. The Chiron was electronically limited to 420 km/h, although capable of faster speeds, but was limited due to the fact that tires capable of handling higher speeds simply did not yet exist in 2016, however, development is continuing apace. Five hundred Chirons were slated for production and currently, around 400 have found homes

Unveiled at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show, the Chiron Sport is Bugatti's breathtaking new interpretation of their ultimate super sports car. A firmer chassis setting combined with lightweight components provide even sharper handling and exhilarating agility - without compromising the Chiron's uniquely luxurious character. The Sport boasts firmer chassis settings, an all-new dynamic torque vectoring function and a sport-focused suspension setup and a substantial weight saving has been achieved with redesigned components and new lightweight wheels.

Specially developed for those Chiron customers who were looking for a distinctly sporting character, the Sport combines enhanced handling, astonishing agility and distinctive design features without compromising the Chiron's class-leading standard of comfort.

This remarkable, left hand drive, Chiron Sport is showing 527 kms, is finished in steel blue carbon matte and we are informed is registered in the KSA.

1998 Porsche 911 (993) Carrera 4S 1998 Porsche 911 (993) Carrera 4S

1998 Porsche 911 (993) Carrera 4S

Lot #101 (Sale Order 2 of 68)

Desirable, collectable, last of the air-cooled 911s and a very late model.

  • Indicating just 40,000km at the time of cataloguing, last of the air-cooled 911s, offered without reserve

  • Naturally aspirated, flat-6 with the aesthetic benefit of the Turbo wide-body and other upgrades

  • Presented in the timeless colour combination of silver metallic paintwork with black leather

  • Fast becoming a collectable modern-classic Porsche revered for high build quality and pure Porsche form

The 993 was the final generation of the air-cooled 911 manufactured and sold between January 1994 and early 1998 and, as such, will always have a special place in the affections of Porsche enthusiasts. It is also widely said to be the last of the 911s that were built whilst engineering integrity overruled accounting pressures at Porsche. 20 years on, it still looks modern, a truly timeless design.

When it arrived, the 993 Carrera 4 featuring the all-new, four-wheel-drive system met with worldwide acclaim and these cars are still revered for great performance and sure-footed handling. Boasting the wider bodywork of the Turbo with Turbo suspension, brakes and Turbo-look wheels, the Carrera 4S hit a sweet spot with many enthusiasts, combining the reliable and economical 282bhp Carrera S engine with the dramatic presence of the Turbo along with the added practicality and confidence of four-wheel drive.

This superb, manual gearbox, left-hand drive Carrera 4S presents very well with metallic silver paintwork and a black leather interior. We are informed that 40,000km was showing on the odometer at the time of cataloguing and we believe the car was delivered new to the KSA.

Representing the end of an era for the 911, the 993-generation is considered to be one of the most desirable variants of the model and has achieved exceptional collectable status not only for its place in Porsche history but for its overall reliability and usability. Whilst the high-horsepower models are often found preserved in collections, the slightly more pedestrian models were generally put into regular use by their first owners and consequently, two decades after production officially ended, finding a low-mileage and well-preserved Carrera S or 4S can be difficult. As such, this C4S warrants serious attention.

2003 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale 2003 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale

2003 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale

Lot #102 (Sale Order 3 of 68)

One of the most focused and enjoyable driving experiences ever offered by the Italian marque.

  • The 360 Challenge Stradale – low production, track-day focused supercar. Only 5,000km from new

  • Fitted with a 3.6-litre V8 coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. 426bhp at 8500rpm and 190mph

  • More responsive throttle software, enhanced steering feedback and 95kg lighter

  • Delivered new to the UAE in left-hand drive and finished in Rosso with a white stripe and Nero interior

  • Excitingly offered at No Reserve

Commencing with the 348, Ferrari had started the first factory-backed, one-make race series for amateur and semi-professional racing drivers back in 1993, and the immensely successful Ferrari Challenge increased in popularity with the subsequent introduction of the F355 and 360 Modena. The latter first appeared on the grid in Challenge form in 2000, featuring a multitude of alterations making it eminently suitable for track use. Three years later, at the Geneva International Motor Show, Ferrari introduced the 360 Challenge Stradale, which in essence was a lightened version of the 360 Modena incorporating some of the racer's suspension and braking improvements. This was designed by Ferrari engineers with a 20% circuit use and 80% road use in mind. It was fitted with a 3.6-litre V8 engine generating 426bhp at 8500rpm which, when coupled to the 6-speed gearbox, resulted in a top speed of 190mph.

Other improvements included more responsive throttle software, enhanced steering feedback, and a reduction in weight by as much as 95kg. The Challenge Stradale also got Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes as standard, shaving 16kg off the curb weight, improving handling and eliminating brake fade. However, the Challenge Stradale is no mere racer-for-the-road and remains sufficiently civilised for comfortable road use.

This left-hand drive 360 Challenge Stradale is showing only 5,000 on the odometer and is finished in the classic Ferrari combination of Rosso with a Nero interior. We are informed that this example was delivered new to the UAE and certainly looks to be in fantastic condition, as you would expect from such low mileage. Excitingly offered at No Reserve, these amazing cars are often cited by Ferraristas as one of the most focused and enjoyable driving experiences ever offered by the Italian marque.

2006 Ford GT 2006 Ford GT

2006 Ford GT

Lot #103 (Sale Order 4 of 68)

A simply superb example of the iconic, modern American supercar.

  • Assembled in Wixom, Michigan in January 2006 and finished in Mk IV Red Clearcoat

  • 550bhp, 5.4-litre, dual overhead camshaft, electronic fuel injection, supercharged, V8

  • Fitted with active safety belts, airbags, optional forged BBS wheels and racing stripes

  • US-supplied but now registered in the KSA. 2,316 miles with one documented service

  • This rare GT is worthy of a place in any collectors stable and should not be missed at today's guide

The Ford GT began life as a concept car designed in anticipation of the carmaker's centennial year and as part of its drive to showcase and revive its heritage models such as the Mustang and Thunderbird. At the 2002 North American International Auto Show, Ford unveiled a new GT40 concept car. Camilo Pardo, the then head of Ford's Living Legends studio, is credited as the chief designer of the GT and worked under the guidance of J Mays and Carroll Shelby, the original designer of the Shelby GT500, was brought in by Ford to help develop the GT including performance testing of the prototype.

The GT is similar in outward appearance to the original GT40 but is bigger, wider, and most importantly four in (100 mm) taller than the original's 40 in (100 cm) overall height; as a result, a potential name for the car was the GT44. Although the cars are visually related, structurally, there is no similarity between the modern GT and the 1960's GT40 that inspired it. Three pre-production cars were shown to the public in 2003 as part of Ford's centenary celebrations, and delivery of the production version, simply called the Ford GT, began in the Autumn of 2004.

The ultra-high performance Ford GT showcases the finest in advanced technologies, constructed on a lightweight aluminium chassis clothed in superplastic-formed lightweight composite and aluminium body panels. Powered by a mid-mounted, hand-built, supercharged quad-cam 550bhp V8 engine mated to a 6-speed manual transaxle and featuring racing-derived suspension and braking systems, the GT is hugely powerful and delivers astounding performance. It can accelerate from 0-60 in about 3.5 seconds, hurtling on to some 205mph before the speed limiter kicks in. When production ceased in 2006, with just over 4,000 Ford GTs produced, 101 were delivered new to Europe and only a handful to other markets, this epic Ford had made its mark on automotive history once again - and became an instant collector's car.

From its VIN number, we can tell that the car on offer today was assembled in Wixom, Michigan during January 2006. Fitted with active safety belts and driver and passenger airbags and was powered by a 5.4-litre, dual overhead camshaft, electronic fuel injection, supercharged, V8. It left the factory finished in Mk IV Red Clearcoat with a Centennial White stripe and an Ebony interior. The car was supplied new in the USA but is now registered in the KSA and has only covered 2,316 miles with one documented service. In simply stunning condition, this rare GT is worthy of a place in any collectors stable and should not be missed.

Given its inimitable heritage, prolific performance, stunning design, and the thrilling driving experience, the Ford GT is a very special creation that will undoubtedly be revered for many years to come.

2012 Aston Martin DBS (Manual) 2012 Aston Martin DBS (Manual)

2012 Aston Martin DBS (Manual)

Lot #104 (Sale Order 5 of 68)

An incredibly low mileage example of the very special DBS.

  • Looks fabulous in Stratus White with a Spicy Red interior

  • 510bhp, 6-litre, front-mounted V12. 0-60 in 4.3 seconds and 191mph

  • Desirable manual gearbox and only 900km from new

  • Delivered new to the UAE. Impeccably maintained and in pristine condition

  • An Aston Martin masterpiece that still looks fresh today

When Daniel Craig sauntered into the Casino Royale, Montenegro for his high-stakes poker game in the eponymous film of 2006, parked outside was his service issue Aston Martin DBS. Menacingly sleek and packing a punch, much like 007 himself, the DBS was to star in a record-breaking action sequence towards the end of the film and an exhilarating opening scene for Craig's second outing as Bond in Quantum of Solace. With a top speed of 191mph and a 0-60 time of 4.3 seconds, the DBS was the raffish younger bother to its rather sedate older sibling, the DB9, within the Aston family at the time. Although it was a relatively large car, weighing in at 1,680kg, it was in fact 65kg lighter than the DB9 thanks to the extensive use of carbon fibre for its bonnet, bumpers and numerous structural components. Even the cockpit had been on a diet using lighter weight semi-aniline interior leather and even the standard carpets were made of a lighter weight fibre. The centre console was changed with a cast metal surround, new graphics and turned aluminium heater knobs. Scissor-style doors formed from aluminium ensured that the DBS would make an impression wherever it arrived. Underneath, the DBS utilised a new adaptive suspension design that gave the car tenacious handling when pressing-on or, at the touch of a button, a cosseting ride for gentle cruising. Carbon-ceramic disc brakes ensured that it would come to a halt quickly and effortlessly. Complete street-credibility was ensured by the introduction of a polished sapphire ECU that was inserted into a slot in the starter button instead of a boring old key.

Powered by a 510bhp, 5.9-Litre, V12 engine the DBS is a seriously fast Aston and very impressive on the road particularly when fitted with the manual six-speed gearbox as is the car here. In left-hand drive and finished in Stratus White with a Spicy Red interior, the Aston was delivered new to the UAE in 2012 and currently lives in Dubai. Impeccably maintained and having covered only 900km this is a superb example of a very special car.

2018 Fiat Abarth 695C Rivale 2018 Fiat Abarth 695C Rivale

2018 Fiat Abarth 695C Rivale

Lot #105 (Sale Order 6 of 68)

Luxurious 1.4-litre Abarth inspired by the Riva 56 Rivale.

  • One of 175 limited-edition Abarth 695s inspired by the Riva 56 Rivale

  • Finished in two-tone Riva Sera Blue and Shark Grey with an aquamarine double stripe

  • Fabulous interior with Mahogany, Mediterranean Blue leather and carbon fibre

  • 1.4-litre, turbocharged, four-cylinder engine that produces 180bhp and184 lb.ft of torque

  • Akrapovic exhaust, Konis and four-piston Brembo brakes. Automatic gearbox

  • "The most sophisticated Abarth ever”

Founded in 1949, Abarth & C. S.p.A. is an Italian racing car and road car maker founded by Italo-Austrian Carlo Abarth and the company are now about to enter their eighth decade of doing all sorts of things to Fiats, particularly the little 500. Over the years Abarth has offered dozens of variations on the 500, always performance-focused, and more recently special edition models have included the Abarth 695 Biposto Record, the 595 Yamaha Factory Racing Edition and the 500 Track Experience, amongst others. None of them, however, can lay claim to the title of being the “most sophisticated Abarth ever.” That distinction, according to Abarth itself, now rests on the shoulders of the 695 Rivale Special Edition.

Developed specifically to celebrate the company’s close ties to yacht maker Riva, the 695 Rivale is the physical embodiment of the premium luxury that goes into the craft of building those sea vessels. Safe to say, that the “most sophisticated Abarth ever” title fits the 695 Rivale. It’s inundated with aesthetic features that shine a big spotlight on the nautical theme of the compact car. Inside and out, the 695 Rivale is decked to the brim with luxury, the kind you expect from any one of the yachts that Riva has built during its 175-year history. The Rivale 695 doesn’t pack any power or performance upgrades, but that’s an inconsequential omission when you compare it to the quantity and quality of cosmetic additions on offer.

The Rivale is finished in two-tone Riva Sera Blue and Shark Grey with an Aquamarine double stripe running the length of the car at waistline height. The door handles are in a satin chrome finish, as are the tailgate mouldings. Specific 695 Rivale badging can also be found on the tailgate and rear bumper of the car with the Riva-inspired side grilles and the new set of 17-inch Supersport alloys finishing off the exterior look. The same level of detail extends to the cabin with Abarth's attempt to generate a sense of nautical ambience much in evidence. The dashboard appears to be Riva-style solid Mahogany, the interior leather is in a shade of Mediterranean Blue and the use of carbon fibre on the interior also extends to the kick plates.

The car is powered by a 1.4-litre, turbocharged, four-cylinder engine that produces 180bhp and 184lb.ft of torque, not huge numbers but, in a car this size, it's enough to accelerate the hatchback to 62mph in 6.7 seconds before peaking at a top speed of 140mph. An Akrapovic exhaust ensures it will no doubt be seriously aural, while Koni suspension and four-piston Brembo brakes will make for serious g-forces in all directions when driven hard. This particular car is optioned with the automatic gearbox.

Supplied new to the KSA, this 695C is one of only 175 convertibles (commemorating Riva's 175th anniversary) and is unused and offered with delivery mileage only.

2015 Porsche 918 Spyder Weissach 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder Weissach

2015 Porsche 918 Spyder Weissach

Lot #106 (Sale Order 7 of 68)

Signifying a pivotal turning point in the history of high-performance motorcars.

  • KSA delivered, with the important Weissach option ticked and just 2,500km indicated

  • Superbly presented in brilliant white complemented by a fabulous red leather interior

  • Powered by a naturally-aspirated 4.6-litre V8 and two electric motors producing 875bhp combined

  • The Weissach pack reduces weight by 41kg and includes magnesium wheels, six-point harnesses and Motorsport-inspired aerodynamic aids

  • A technical masterpiece, the 918 Spyder rewrites the Supercar rule book with its incredible performance and grip, and ability to glide silently in EV mode

Porsche have a track record of launching groundbreaking sports cars including the 959 and more recently the Carrera GT and, following in the footsteps of these two, Porsche introduced the production version of the 918 Spyder at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. Incorporating cutting-edge hybrid technologies with track-proven Motorsport engineering, the Porsche 918 Spyder would go on to rewrite the supercar rule book with blistering performance, handling and the ability to glide silently in EV mode.

The 918 Spyder is powered by a 4,593cc, naturally-aspirated V8 which delivers 599 bhp at 8,700 rpm and this is supplemented by two electric motors delivering an additional 282bhp. One 115 kW (154 hp) electric motor drives the rear wheels in parallel with the engine and also serves as the main generator. This motor and the engine deliver power to the rear axle via a 7-speed gearbox coupled to Porsche's own PDK double-clutch system. The front 95 kW (127 hp) electric motor directly drives the front axle and an electric clutch decouples the motor when not in use. The total system delivers 652 kW (874 hp). Porsche provided official performance figures of 0-100 kph (62mph) in 2.6 seconds, 0-200 km/h (120mph) in 7.2 seconds, 0-300kph (190mph) in 19.9 seconds with a top speed of 345 kph (214mph).

Just 25% of 918 Spyders were optioned with the Weissach package offering upgrades including magnesium wheels, contributing towards a total weight saving of 41Kg, and aero updates resulting in three seconds a lap less than the standard car's time around the Nordschleife. In September 2013, a 918 fitted with the Weissach package set a Nürburgring lap time of 6:57 reducing the previous record by 14 seconds and making it the first series-production, road-legal car to break the 7-minute barrier.

We are informed that this example was delivered new to the KSA in 2015 and, at the time of cataloguing, the odometer showed just 2,500km. The Spyder is finished in brilliant white complemented by a fabulous red leather interior and lots of carbon, both inside and out. A truly fabulous example of a significant, limited production, sports car that represents a pivotal turning point in the history of performance cars.

2001 Lamborghini Diablo VT 2001 Lamborghini Diablo VT

2001 Lamborghini Diablo VT

Lot #107 (Sale Order 8 of 68)

A manual gearbox car from the final year of production.

  • Lightly used and indicating just 13,000km at the time of cataloguing

  • Classic colour combination of Titanium Metallic with a Torpedo Nero interior

  • One of the last cars off the production line and one of 215 from 2001

  • Not for the faint-hearted with 550bhp through a manual transmission, a real drivers car

Built by Lamborghini between 1990 and 2001, the Diablo was the first Lamborghini capable of a top speed of over 200mph and its very successful production run lasted until 2001 when it was replaced by the Murciélago. Power was provided by a 48-valve version of the existing Lamborghini V12, which produced 492bhp, propelling the Diablo to a 207mph top speed and from 0-60mph in under four seconds. It was no surprise then that the Diablo was the fastest production car in the world during 1991. The Diablo VT (Viscous Traction) was introduced in 1993 and set a precedent for Lamborghini's four-wheel-drive supercar production. The VT was much more refined than the earlier two-wheel-drive version and had better air circulation within the passenger's compartment, power-steering, electronically adjustable Koni shock absorbers, a redesigned dashboard, larger air intakes and upgraded Brembo brakes. All of these improvements resulted in a far better driving experience with neutral handling and better reliability, whilst retaining truly awesome performance.

Presented here is a left-hand drive 2001 Diablo VT 6.0, built during the last year of the model’s production. It left Sant’Agata finished in a distinctive Titanium Silver with a Torpedo Nero interior and was delivered to the UAE. We are informed that, at the time of cataloguing, just 13,000km was indicated on the instrument cluster and consequently this Diablo presents in superb condition. A really lovely example and a great opportunity to acquire the final iteration of the legendary Diablo in a tasteful colour combination with very little use.

2015 McLaren P1 2015 McLaren P1

2015 McLaren P1

Lot #108 (Sale Order 9 of 68)

A low-mileage example of McLarens legendary 903bhp hypercar.

  • Finished in Volcano Yellow with a yellow leather and black Alcantara interior

  • 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 with a lightweight electric motor. Combined output 903bhp and 664lb.ft

  • 0-100kph (62mph) in 2.8 seconds, 0-200kph (124mph) in 6.8 seconds, 0-300kph (186mph) in 16.5 seconds

  • Dating from 2015, this fabulous P1 has covered just 1,965km and is in superb condition

With the MP4-12C, McLaren returned to the world stage as a road car manufacturer. It was logical that the company, famed for its Formula 1 success, would produce a flagship model to compete with the latest generation of hypercars from Ferrari and Porsche and the result was the extraordinary McLaren P1, the long-awaited successor to the F1.

Looking to build the ultimate driver’s platform utilising a hybrid powertrain, McLaren started out with a carbon fibre monocoque chassis, tipping the scales at just 90 kg. Carbon fibre was utilised for the body panels, creating the perfect harmony of weight savings and strength. McLaren’s fanatical attention to detail shines through with its weight-saving efforts; even the interior carpet was deemed needlessly excessive and removed entirely. Furthermore, McLaren chose to leave the carbon fibre in the cockpit unlacquered, saving another 1.5kg and the windscreen glass was redesigned to be only 3.2-mm thick and reinforced with a thick plastic interlayer that allowed McLaren to save 3.5kg over the same item fitted to the MP4-12C. In total, the P1 tips the scales at a dry weight of just 1,395kg.

The P1 is powered by a 3.8-litre, twin-turbocharged V-8 mated to an electric motor intended to fill the gaps in performance from the conventional petrol engine. This gives the McLaren a total output of 903 bhp (727bhp from the V-8 and 176bhp from the electric engine). Thanks to the car’s monstrous power output and unique aerodynamics, including adjustable front and rear wings providing as much as 600kg of downforce at 160 mph, performance is nothing short of electrifying. 100kph takes just 2.8 seconds, followed by 200kph in 6.8 seconds, onwards to 300 kph in 16.5 seconds (five full seconds faster than the venerable F1) and a top speed of 217mph (347kph).

A high-density, lithium-ion battery pack powers the electric motor, which can be left to deploy automatically or selected by the driver, who thus has the options of using the petrol engine on its own, the electric motor on its own, or the two in combination. The battery can be charged by the engine or from the mains, with a full charge taking around two hours. As one would expect from a manufacturer that has been a mainstay of Formula 1 for the last 50 years, McLaren endowed the P1 with a number of competition-derived technologies in the form of IPAS (Instant Power Assist System), DRS (Drag Reduction System) and KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System).

Offered here is a striking McLaren P1 finished in the same colour as the original launch car at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Volcano Yellow is also the personal choice of motor aficionado Jay Leno for his collection. Virtually as new, this P1 has only covered 1,965km (1,365 miles) from new and is in perfect condition for a collector or enthusiast who wants an immaculate example of the car that re-wrote the book when it comes to everyday drivability in a hypercar.

  • The ultimate version of the SLS, reworked by AMG for greater performance and a more driver-focused experience

  • Rare colour combination, one of the very few to be finished in Mars Red with a black interior with red accents

  • An opportunity not to be overlooked by a collector searching for elite examples of iconic cars

Jaguar E-Type fans will undoubtedly disagree but perhaps the most recognisable sports car of the 1950's was the classic Mercedes 300SL Gullwing. With its dramatic doors, this was the ultimate supercar of its time whose very mention evokes memories of Grace Kelly and grainy black and white racing footage. It was the embodiment of half a century of Mercedes Motorsport pedigree and pleasingly, became the inspiration for a modern interpretation - the brand's equally desirable SLS AMG model, launched in 2010.

The successor to the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, the SLS AMG was the first automobile designed and built from scratch entirely by AMG and had a limited production run from 2010 - 2015. Introduced at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, AMG described the M159 563bhp engine as "The world's most powerful naturally aspirated production series engine ever".

From 2013 to 2015, customers could order the high-performance variant of the SLS named SLS AMG Black Series. Notable changes over the SLS AMG included increased engine power to 631 bhp along with a higher rev limit of 8,000rpm, fully revised high-speed valve train with modified camshafts, adapted cam geometry and optimised bucket tappets with a special coating normally used on racing engines. The Black Series is also 70kg lighter than the standard model as a result of the increased use of carbon fibre in the body panels, mechanical components, and the space frame. The combination of less weight and more power resulted in claimed performance figures of 0-97kph in just 3.2 seconds.

This, left-hand drive, SLS AMG Black Series, we are informed, was delivered new to the UAE and is on offer with just delivery use to date, and as such can be considered in as new condition. Beautifully finished with Mars Red paintwork and a black interior with matching red accents. This is a superb example of a modern classic sports car and would make a great addition to any car collection.

2013 Pagani Huayra Coupe 2013 Pagani Huayra Coupe

2013 Pagani Huayra Coupe

Lot #111 (Sale Order 12 of 68)

Currently registered in the KSA with just 700km from new.

  • Number 5 of only 100 Huayra Coupes produced

  • Limited ‘White Edition’ with a white and black carbon fibre exterior, white and black interior and aluminium wheels

  • 720bhp, 5,980cc Mercedes-AMG V-12 engine with twin turbochargers, 7-speed automated manual transmission

  • Currently registered in the KSA it has covered just 700km from new

Unveiling their first car at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show, Pagani Automobili was set to fight an uphill battle in the automotive industry for recognition, publicity, and, most of all, success. Taking it to the supercar establishment, Horacio Pagani set out to build his own supercar in Ferrari’s backyard in Modena. Thanks to a fruitful career at Lamborghini, Pagani had the experience and drive needed to succeed, and his first production model, the Zonda, quickly proved to be reasonably successful in Europe. However, the Zonda was not available in North America, and consequently, Pagani was missing out on a massive market share. This was especially true in the United States, where potential customers were clamouring for a supercar that stood out from the standard offerings from the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini, and McLaren. In order to bring their company to the next level and grow their business, the next Pagani needed to be road-legal in the US.

The next project was actually first conceived in 2003, only halfway through the production run of the Zonda. With the Zonda having been first designed in the early 1990's, it was assumed that the platform was reaching obsolescence and that an entirely new car would be needed to compete with the next generation of supercars. However, Pagani wanted to retain the overall spirit and essence of what had come to define his marque and, for the new Huayra, he continued to be inspired by Leonardo da Vinci, who believed that art and science needed to be in sync to create a masterpiece.

Similarly to the Zonda, the Huayra’s engine was sourced from Mercedes-Benz but, unlike the Zonda, Pagani chose to utilise turbochargers. Capable of producing 720bhp and an incredible 1,000 Newton-meters of torque, the resulting performance is simply phenomenal. To help keep the Huayra firmly planted on the road, it utilises active aerodynamics in the form of four independently-operating flaps placed one at each corner of the car. Controlled by the car’s computer, these flaps can instantly adjust to reduce drag, offer additional downforce, or reduce body roll depending on the car’s speed, lateral acceleration, steering angle, and throttle position. All of these innovative engineering efforts contributed to the car's incredible performance, with a top speed of 238mph and 0–62mph (0-100kph) in 3.0 seconds.

The Huayra’s interior is nothing short of a masterpiece and reflects Pagani’s fanatical attention to detail. The leather is of the highest quality, and Alcantara and carbon fibre combine to produce a luxurious cabin with a really sporty feel. Fully customisable by the customer, the Huayra offered all the amenities one would expect in a modern-day supercar with a fit and finish that is second to none. With a list price that was not far off $2,000,000 in the US and such incredible performance, the Huayra was truly in a rarified automotive atmosphere and was a car that many aspired to but few had the privilege to own.

In left-hand drive and currently registered in the KSA, this amazing car has covered just 700km from new.

1978 Rolls-Royce Corniche Coupe 1978 Rolls-Royce Corniche Coupe

1978 Rolls-Royce Corniche Coupe

Lot #112 (Sale Order 13 of 68)

A lovely example of the post-facelift Corniche in Seychelles Blue.

  • 6.75-Litre, V8 coupled to a 3-speed automatic box ensuring smooth progress

  • 1978 post-facelift Coupe with the 237bhp L410I power unit and Bosch KE/K-Jetronic fuel injection

  • Finished in Seychelles Blue with a black Everflex roof and a navy blue interior

  • We understand that the car has been fully restored and is currently indicating 7,000km

When Rolls-Royce launched the Corniche in 1971, the international jet set began to clamour for attention at the dealerships. With waiting lists measured in years, these fashionable vehicles changed hands at vast premiums over list price and one can imagine the hushed negotiations over the green baize of the gaming tables of Mayfair. The Corniche saw Rolls-Royce, for the first time, dispense with the need for a chauffeur and was the first model to offer the new generation of owner-drivers, a rev counter. The Coupe by Mulliner Park Ward wafted to 60mph in 9.8 seconds, powered by the whisper-quiet 6.75-litre V8 engine and it is widely regarded that the success of the Corniche, at a difficult time financially, saved Rolls-Royce for future generations.

Six years into its life-cycle, the Corniche received a mild makeover in the spring of 1977 including new rack-and-pinion steering, alloy and rubber bumpers, an aluminium radiator, oil cooler and bi-level air conditioning. Later that year, an upgraded engine (L410I) was fitted utilising Bosch KE/K-Jetronic fuel injection which increased output to 237bhp at 4,000rpm  extending the top speed to 118mph.

Built in 1978, this particular Corniche Coupe was optioned in left-hand drive, finished in Seychelles Blue with a black Everflex roof and a navy blue interior, it was delivered new to the KSA. Since new, it has remained and is still registered in the KSA. We understand that the car has been fully restored and is currently indicating 7,000km.

2018 Italdesign Zerouno 2018 Italdesign Zerouno

2018 Italdesign Zerouno

Lot #113 (Sale Order 14 of 68)

Number 5 of only 5 combining decades of Turinese automotive flair with state-of-the-art Supercar design.

  • The fifth and final Zerouno Coupe built and offered from single ownership

  • Presented in virtually as-new condition and never road registered

  • Powered by a 610bhp, 5.2-litre, naturally-aspirated V-10 engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox with drive to all four wheels

  • Soft-sheen stealth matte paintwork unique to this car

  • Perhaps the most aerodynamically advanced road car ever

  • A contemporary coachbuilt supercar combining Italian passion with quality engineering

Founded by the legendary Giorgetto Giugiaro in 1968, Italdesign has produced some of the most interesting automotive designs over the last 50 years. A true contemporary coachbuilder, they have built a reputation for combining innovative technical solutions with a gorgeous design and over the years, has carried out prototyping and pre-series assembly for some of the world’s major manufacturers. With such diverse abilities and vast experience in the sector, it was inevitable that the company would eventually try its hand at building its own bespoke supercar.

Unveiled to the world during the 87th Geneva International Motor Show in 2017, the Zerouno (Zero One) was the first creation by the new brand Italdesign Automobili Speciali. Intended for collectors and visionary enthusiasts, only five were built combining racing car features and performance alongside type-approval for use on normal roads. Developed around a modular chassis in carbon fibre and aluminium, Itadesign's new baby was very impressive.

The Zerouno’s bodywork was developed at Italdesign’s advanced Virtual Reality Centre, which enabled the firm to conduct virtual aero testing prior to building the various components in real life. They explain that the upper portion of the car is modelled after the “Italian Gran Turismo tradition,” whilst the lower half is shaped by the demands of aerodynamics. Regardless, it’s more than obvious that the pointed front end was inspired by single-seat race cars (Formula 1 in particular).

Front end lift from that central intake was eliminated thanks to something Italdesign is calling the “Y Duct,” whereby air is routed through the intake and split through a Y-shaped divider under the skin, eventually making its way out through vents placed just ahead of the windshield, generating significant downforce as a result. There are also heat extractors that cool the brakes via vents in the wings, plus further aerofoils at the front end that create even more downforce. At the rear, there are further downforce generators, with a new, large wing, plus a diffuser element. Cooling is enhanced thanks to new rear fins and wing vents.

Powered by a 5.2-litre, naturally-aspirated V-10 engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, the engine produces 610 bhp and 560 Nm of torque at 6,500rpm, with drive to all four wheels. The company quotes a 0–100 kph time of just 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 330 kph.

Each of the five made-to-order examples was finished to suit the owner’s requirements: from the choice of materials to the development of a bespoke paint colour code, everything could be tailored to an individual’s wishes. The first owner of this particular car was certainly no stranger to bespoke supercars as he already owned a sizeable private collection regularly showcasing many of the finest supercars and race cars. He was lucky enough to purchase the fifth and final example of the Zerouno and specified a number of unique options.

Finished in soft sheen Black Matte with Red, Green and White stripes running the full length, the most insanely gorgeous wheels you have ever seen, and enough aerodynamic aids to make a Mercedes F1 feel short-changed, this is a very desirable, superbly built supercar and an absolute triumph for Italdesign.

Having only accumulated testing and delivery mileage, this example has never been registered for road use and is presented here today in virtually ‘as-new’ condition. Its new owner will surely enjoy a fantastic opportunity to own a unique example of a contemporary coachbuilt supercar. This Zerouno would be an exciting addition to any collection of modern supercars as it is a unique blend of distinctive styling and engineering thanks to decades of Turinese automotive knowledge.

2014 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series

Lot #114 (Sale Order 15 of 68)

As new, AMG-enhanced powerhouse that's becoming increasingly desirable.

  • Left-hand drive from 2014 but delivery miles only and can be considered as new

  • Dramatically presented in Solarbeam Yellow with a matching interior

  • The Black Series has a 6.2-litre, naturally-aspirated V8 sending 631bhp to the rear wheels

  • Redesigned intake ducting, valvetrain, new camshafts and a 7-speed, dual-clutch transmission

  • A highly desirable modern classic, nothing beats an AMG V8 and Gullwing doors

Jaguar E-Type fans will undoubtedly disagree but perhaps the most recognisable sports car of the 1950's was the classic Mercedes 300SL Gullwing. We are informed that this example was delivered new to the UAE, finished in a striking combination of Solarbeam Yellow with a matching interior. This is a good opportunity to acquire the performance edition of a modern classic icon that is becoming increasingly sought after.

2009 McLaren Mercedes SLR 722S Roadster

Lot #115 (Sale Order 16 of 68)

1 of 150, this left-hand drive 722S has covered just 2,000km from new.

•    A nod to Stirling Moss’ 1955 Mille Miglia-winning 300 SLR, which famously wore number 722•    Featuring numerous upgrades, the 722 Edition was released by McLaren in 2008•    Carbon-ceramic discs, lighter 19" wheels, larger front splitter and a revised rear diffuser•    Fitted with a 650bhp version of the supercharged 5.4-litre V8. 0-60mph in 3.6 seconds•    One of 150, this left-hand drive 722S has covered just 2,000 km from new •    One of very few finished in white with a semi-aniline black leather interior

Manufactured between 2003 and 2010, their new supercar allowed Mercedes-Benz and its then Formula 1 partner, McLaren, to showcase their collective experience in the development, construction and production of high-performance sports cars and, just like its legendary 300 SLR predecessor of 1955, it incorporated technological developments that were ahead of their time. As it was supremely engineered and built to incredible standards at McLaren's facilities in Woking, it boasted a very high level of fit and finish, absolutely appropriate for any car wearing a Mercedes-Benz badge.

In a nod to Stirling Moss’ 300 SLR, which wore #722 and won the 1955 Mille Miglia in record time, McLaren released the 722 Edition, which was introduced in 2008 as an upgraded version of the already excellent model. Its horsepower was raised to 650, and as a result, the car’s 0–60-mph time was improved to 3.6 seconds. Larger carbon-ceramic disc brakes were fitted with lighter 19-inch wheels and the nose received an all-new diffuser and air splitter to improve downforce, as well as a modified front spoiler. One year later, the SLR 722S was released, further amplifying the intensity of the most powerful SLR produced by lowering the chassis by 10 mm and adding special 19 inch wheels. Both Coupe and Roadster versions of the SLR 722 and 722S were produced, providing owners with an open-top option.

This left-hand drive, 722 S Roadster was delivered new to the UAE and has only covered 2,000 km from new. It's one of only 150 722S Roadsters ever produced and one of only a handful finished in white with a semi-aniline black leather interior. This really is a fantastic opportunity to acquire a very special car that delivers both in terms of value and collectability.

2010 Ferrari 599 GTZ Zagato Nibbio Spyder 2010 Ferrari 599 GTZ Zagato Nibbio Spyder

2010 Ferrari 599 GTZ Zagato Nibbio Spyder

Lot #117 (Sale Order 18 of 68)

Absolutely exclusive, Ferrari's 599GTB exquisitely dressed by the House of Zagato.

  • The Nibbio was Zagato's take on how a 599 GTB should look

  • Only nine were built of which only two were Spyders

  • Striking design incorporating all the usual Zagato styling cues

  • The donor car was a 2010 599 GTB that had covered just 10,477km

  • Since the conversion, the car has remained on display and has not been used

In 2004, Ferrari entered a new era in styling with the mid-engined F430 and followed that success with the front-engined 599GTB in 2006. Dramatic, aggressive and beautiful, the 599’s styling was some of the most harmonious in a front-engined Ferrari since the Daytona, redefining the ideal with a sharply defined shape and organically sculpted details. The cabin’s pronounced rearward placement allowed the 599 GTB’s naturally aspirated, fuel-injected 6.0-litre/611bhp V-12 to be positioned far back in the car’s chassis, resulting in excellent front-rear balance. The optional F1-Superfast 6-speed transmission was designed to change gear in as little as 100 milliseconds, approaching actual F1 levels meaning that the 599 GTB could launch from 0 to 60 MPH in 3.7 seconds and continue accelerating hard up to 205 MPH. Like the Maranello that preceded it, the 599 GTB’s electronically controlled adjustable suspension could be programmed for various driving conditions, but response time was increased almost fourfold with the switch from electric motors to magnetorheological shock absorbers. The 599’s interior was voluptuously sculpted and a wonderful blend of leather and carbon fibre with seats that were clearly inspired by those of the Daytona.

However, there is always someone who wants something just that bit different and, in 2007, the legendary Italian coachbuilders Zagato were asked to create something special from a customer’s Ferrari 599GTB. The customer wanted something that was distinctive yet obviously Zagato and, some months later, the 599 GTZ Nibbio was unveiled. It was the latest in a long, fine, often wild line of creations from a company that had been modifying cars for nearly 100 years and managed to include all their regular styling cues, the bulbous nose, wide grille, powerful haunches and the signature “double-bubble” — a long-established Zagato calling card. It is difficult to see any elements of the 599’s design remaining in the Nibbio. The front of the car bears a resemblance to those iconic Ferrari racing cars of the early Fifties with its large egg-crate grille and air intakes where the headlights of the older cars would have been but the rear is absolutely unique and definitely opinion-dividing. However, it obviously found favour and Zagato ended up building a total of nine Nibbios, two of which were Spyders.

The name Nibbio refers to a type of Kite found in Italy and, while it seems unusual to call a car of this nature after a bird of prey, it all becomes clear when you look at the definition of Nibbio in an Italian dictionary and it reads; “Beautiful, extremely fast and very agile with a distinctive tail.”

Dating from 2010, this 599 GTB had covered a mere 10,477km when it was sent to Zagato to be converted to a Nibbio. Finished in sparkling white with a fabulous interior, it's one of only two Nibbio Spyders and has not been used since the conversion.

***Regretfully Withdrawn*** 2005 Gemballa Mirage GT ***Regretfully Withdrawn*** 2005 Gemballa Mirage GT

***Regretfully Withdrawn*** 2005 Gemballa Mirage GT

Lot #118 (Sale Order 19 of 68)

Gemballa's amazing interpretation of Porsche's legendary 980 Carrera GT.

  • Gemballa GmbH has been creating very special Porsches for nearly 40 years

  • The Mirage GT is their take on the Porsche Carrera GT (980) and includes an aerodynamic body kit, roof scoop, bespoke interior, split-rim wheels and an extra 40bhp

  • Naturally-aspirated V10 (661bhp and 465lb-ft of torque) and a 6-speed manual gearbox

  • This is number 25/25 and is based on a 2005 Carrera GT that has covered 710 km from new

  • Sportclassic Grey with Lemon Yellow detailing. Bespoke Leather, Alcantara and Carbon Fibre interior

  • Air conditioning, Xenons, ABS, ESP, cruise control and parking sensors

You might think that a car discontinued some 13 years ago would not be of interest to tuners anymore, but the Carrera GT is no ordinary car. Porsche built 1,270 examples of its naturally aspirated masterpiece, with the final example rolling off the assembly line at the factory in Leipzig, Germany back in May 2006. Years later, owners of the 918 Spyder's predecessor are still handing over their cars to aftermarket specialists to upgrade what, some refer to as, the very last analogue supercar.

Stuggart-based Gemballa GmbH has been tuning and creating dramatic Porsches for nearly 40 years now so it's only natural that they would turn their attention to the Carrera GT and the Mirage GT was the result. The idea was to build 25 of these Carrera GT developments and 25 customers were duly persuaded to bring along their beloved Carrera GTs and a substantial quantity of Euros to become the owner of a new Mirage GT.

Naturally, with a project of this nature, a significant amount of the final specification is dependent on the customers' preferences and in this case, number 25/25, no expense appears to have been spared. Gemballa has been somewhat discreet about the 1,000 hours of work that went into Number 25 other than saying it now offers a "dream combination of carbon fibre, leather, and Alcantara".  An important upgrade, however, is in the engine bay where the 5.7-litre engine has been massaged to deliver 661 horsepower or a healthy 58bhp over the standard model. Torque has also been bumped from the original 435 pound-feet (590 Newton-meters) to 465 lb-ft (630 Nm). The power gains might not be all that impressive, but let’s keep in mind that we’re dealing with an engine lacking forced induction. Gemballa generated the extra power after installing a custom air intake, a new stainless steel exhaust system, and catalytic converters. They’ve also remapped the ECU of Porsche’s glorious high-revving V10 engine. With the updates in place, the Mirage GT arrives at 62 mph (100 kph) from a standstill in only 3.7 seconds or two-tenths of a second quicker than the standard car. Top speed exceeds 208 mph (335 kph) or a little bit higher than Porsche’s quoted 205 mph (330 kph) – not too shabby for a supercar launched in 2003.

The interior has also been subjected to a few changes, with this particular car’s owner deciding to go with Alcantara for nearly all of the visible surfaces. There’s also generous use of carbon fibre, along with contrasting Lemon Yellow stitching and a modified rev counter with the same vibrant hue shared with the gear shift pattern on the centre console and the seat belts. The yellow accents are also much in evidence on the outside where the brake calipers are finished in the same shade, much like the Mirage GT lettering, the headlights, and the engine cover.

Needless to say, the most visible change is represented by the more aggressive body kit encompassing a massive fixed rear wing replacing the standard retractable spoiler. Other modifications worth mentioning include the front spoiler lip, roof scoop, beefy side skirts, and the quad exhausts further denoting that this isn’t your plain Carrera GT.

Dating originally from 2005, number 25/25 is left-hand drive and is finished in what appears to be a lovely shade of Porsche 'Sportclassic Grey' with those Lemon Yellow touches and presents superbly. We understand that it has only covered 710km and is fitted with air conditioning, Xenons, ABS, ESP, cruise control and parking sensors.

Absolutely remarkable and you won't see another one.

Despite being front-engined, the design achieves a near-perfect weight distribution of 48:52 and the liberal use of high-end materials such as aluminium, magnesium, titanium alloys, and carbon fibre make for a unique driving experience. And that ultimate driving experience is further defined by the LFA’s drivetrain as nestled up in front lives a Yamaha-developed 4.8-litre V-10 engine producing 553bhp at 9,000 rpm and 354 foot-pounds of torque at 6,800 rpm. In the world of modern-day supercars, V-10 engines are popular, however, the LFA is set apart by its astonishing power delivery and pure automotive harmony. Intelligent, variable-valve timing along with titanium valves and connecting rods allow the V-10 to rev from idle to a screaming 9,000rpm in just six-tenths of a second. The engine revs so quickly that Lexus had to fit a digital tachometer instead of a traditional analogue gauge. This technological marvel of an engine is mated to an Aisin SA6 six-speed automated single-clutch, sequential transmission that can shift between gears in less than two-tenths of a second.

This gleaming example (468 of 500) is finished in Whitest White (079) and has only covered a handful of delivery miles since being delivered new to the KSA. Predominantly Saddle Tan, the car's interior is state of the art and incorporates carbon fibre, leather, Alcantara, and metallic surfaces. The LFA's unique aural footprint is enhanced by the two octaves of engine sound that are channelled into the cabin through twin ducts which connect the firewall with the intake manifold, with the subsequent sound tuned in the manner of an acoustic guitar.

The LFA's huge development costs meant that Lexus lost money on every one of the 500 cars that they produced, a fate which is unlikely to befall the next owner of this rare, delivery miles LFA.

2019 Aston Martin Rapide AMR 2019 Aston Martin Rapide AMR

2019 Aston Martin Rapide AMR

Lot #120 (Sale Order 21 of 68)

Aston Martin Racing has sprinkled some magic on the awesome four-door Rapide.

  • One of 210 four-door, four-seat Rapides developed by Aston Martin Racing

  • Uniquely finished in Topaz Chrome 2. With a black leather, Alcantara and carbon interior

  • 5.9-litre naturally-aspirated V-12 upgraded to Vantage GT12 spec (590bhp)

  • Originally built to left-hand drive, US-specification with some bespoke options but now in the KSA

  • Only a few months old, 288km from new and absolutely immaculate

Aston Martin has sprinkled a little of its AMR racing-division magic on its elegant Rapide four-door coupe, as evidenced by the recent unveiling of its new, special-edition 2019 Rapide AMR. Developed with the help of Aston Martin Racing, the car sticks closely to the Rapide AMR Concept showcased at last year’s Geneva Motor Show, which may be why Aston labels this new production version its “most extreme four-door” ever.

Whereas the standard Rapide S is a masterpiece of refined elegance, this AMR version throws subtlety out the window with its track-focused persona. Bold exterior changes include a new vented carbon-fibre bonnet, carbon-fibre splitter, wide side sills, rear diffuser, and carbon-edged boot-lid spoiler. The dynamic front design is also distinguished by the addition of a glossy black mesh grille insert and bold circular daytime running lights borrowed from the Vanquish Zagato.

Thankfully, there is considerable substance to complement this racy style. Under that carbon bonnet, the Rapide’s 5.9-litre naturally aspirated V-12 gets upgraded to Vantage GT12 specification. That means an additional 35bhp, raising the output to 590bhp which, according to Aston, results in a 0-to-100kph in 4.2 seconds and a 329kph top speed.

To ensure the Rapide AMR stops as effectively as it goes, it’s fitted with huge new carbon-ceramic rotors - a first for the Rapide - clamped by six-piston calipers up front and four at the rear. Another first for the Rapide is the addition of standard 53cm forged alloy wheels at each corner, wrapped in ultra-high-performance Michelin Pilot Super Sport rubber.

The interior also gets a race-inspired treatment, with heavily bolstered sports seats trimmed in leather with grippy micro suede inserts and a new carbon-fibre centre console. Included in the options list is the same steering wheel design featured in Aston’s One-77 supercar. The car was offered in five colour schemes; Mariana Blue, Scintilla Silver, Lightning Silver, Onyx Black, or Stirling Green, with a choice of Lime Green, China Grey, or Club Sport White for stripes and accents. However, this 2019 AMR Rapide has been uniquely finished in Aston Martin Topaz Chrome 2 with a black leather, Alcantara and carbon interior amongst a number of other bespoke options.

This is one of only 210 examples of the Rapide AMR and, although only a few months old, this is a well-travelled Aston having been assembled in Warwickshire, shipped to the United States and then Canada before heading to Saudi Arabia. Despite this globe-trotting, the odometer (which was converted in Canada to kilometres from miles) only reads 288km from new.

The Rapide AMR is the last hurrah for Aston's 6.0-litre, naturally aspirated V12 engine and for the petrol-powered Rapide, however, with the legendary VH platform, smoothly weighted steering, extra body control and 590bhp, it looks like they saved the best till last.

2017 Pagani Zonda Riviera 2017 Pagani Zonda Riviera

2017 Pagani Zonda Riviera

Lot #121 (Sale Order 22 of 68)

Automotive art at its finest. Unique and simply stunning. One of One

  • Based on a Zonda F and recreated by the factory as a one-off Riviera

  • The AMG 7.3 L M297 V12 has been developed to produce 750bhp

  • Unique upgrades include new carbon fibre body panels, roof scoop, carbon fibre rear wing, carbon-black wheels and carbon fibre front canards

  • Finished in sparkling white with navy blue carbon fibre and bright blue accents

  • Fabulous interior with brilliant blue leather bucket seats with matching door panels, navy blue aluminium, navy Alcantara, navy carbon fibre and dark blue leather

  • KSA registered, less than 900km and the only one in the world

Horacio Pagani was no newcomer to the world of automotive engineering when he built the first Zonda in 1999, for the Argentine-born industrial design graduate had been working with Lamborghini since the mid-1980's, developing the Countach and Diablo road cars and assisting with the Italian manufacturer's Formula 1 engine programme. The Zonda C12 debuted in Coupe form at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show, its maker freely acknowledging that its styling had been inspired by the Mercedes-Benz Group C Silver Arrow sports-racers. Mercedes-Benz's influence was more than just skin deep, for the German firm's AMG performance division was responsible for the Zonda's 6.0-litre V12 engine, which was mounted longitudinally amidships in the predominantly carbon fibre body tub. With some 408 horsepower on tap, the C12 was always going to be quick, but performance figures of 0-60mph in 4.2 seconds and 0-100mph in 8.2 seconds were simply staggering plus, of course, that all-important 200mph (or thereabouts) top speed. Seemingly small from the outside, yet endowed with a comfortable cabin, the C12 provided the basis for a host of derivatives, which emerged from Pagani's factory at San Cesario Sul Panaro near Modena, in strictly limited numbers over the next 11 years. After only a handful of 6.0-litre C12s had been built, the model was joined by the 7.0-litre C12 S in 2001. Maximum power increased to 542bhp with a commensurate increase in all-round performance, the 0-60mph time dipping below 4 seconds and, as if that wasn't enough, a 7.3-litre, 555bhp version followed in 2002. Traction control became standard equipment on a Pagani for the first time with the 7.3's introduction

Subsequent variations on the C12 theme include the Zonda GR sports-racer, C12 S Monza track-day car, C12 F and C12 Roadster F, Zonda R track car, Zonda Cinque and Cinque Roadster, Zonda Tricolore and various one-offs for wealthy clients.

This, one-off Zonda Riviera is another addition to the 760 Series and is based on a Zonda F. As has become a regular practice, owners of earlier models return their cars to the factory to be upgraded and, in this case, Pagani offered him the opportunity to create a one-off, totally bespoke 760 Series. Upgrades include new carbon fibre body panels, a roof scoop, a carbon fibre rear wing, carbon-black wheels and carbon fibre front canards on the exterior. The interior is fitted with bespoke brilliant blue leather bucket seats with matching door panels, a flat-bottomed Alcantara-covered steering wheel and an interior design mix of navy blue aluminium, navy Alcantara, navy carbon fibre and dark blue leather. Absolutely stunning. However, the most significant upgrade is to the AMG 7.3-litre M297 V12 engine which was massaged to 760PS (750bhp) helped by a brand new exhaust system making the car sound even better than it did before. The Riviera’s exterior styling is inspired by the blue and white Sunseeker and Ferreti packed marinas of the Côte d'Azur and naturally is in brilliant white with navy blue carbon fibre and bright blue accents. The car is Saudi registered and has covered less than 900km.

This amazing Zonda is one of the best looking and most desirable we have ever seen. It's unique in the proper sense of the word, one of one, the only one in the world.

2017 Ferrari F12 70th Anniversary (599 GTO inspiration) 2017 Ferrari F12 70th Anniversary (599 GTO inspiration)

2017 Ferrari F12 70th Anniversary (599 GTO inspiration)

Lot #122 (Sale Order 23 of 68)

A unique F12 in Anniversary Livery number 66 with delivery mileage only.

  • A new F12 with delivery miles only and finished in Anniversary Livery #66

  • #66 'Driving Emotion' was inspired by the 2010 Ferrari 599GTO

  • Monumental 730bhp from the 6,262cc V12 front-mounted engine

  • A masterpiece of lightweight design (1525 kgs). 0-60 in 3 seconds and 211mph

  • Left-hand drive and delivered new to KSA with delivery miles only

The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta was Ferrari’s replacement for the 599 GTB and the company was keen to ensure that not only was it considerably quicker than its seminal predecessor, but also more enjoyable at low speeds. Those aims were broadly achieved and the F12 is both a GT and a supercar, mixing front-engined packaging and civility with exotic, F1-inspired dynamic ability.

The engine is similar in size to the Ferrari FF's but significantly re-engineered to produce more power, rev higher and offer a much quicker throttle response. It produces an almost unbelievable 730bhp at 8250rpm (it revs to 8700rpm) and 509lb-ft at 6000rpm.  All that power is smoothly transmitted to the 315-section rear tyres through a 7-speed dual-clutch transaxle and Ferrari’s clever E-Diff.  The results are startling: 0-62mph in 3.1-seconds, 0-124mph in 8.5-seconds and a top speed of over 211mph. Those acceleration figures put it ahead of a McLaren F1 and around Fiorano, it’s faster than an Enzo or even the ultra-extreme 599 GTO.

The F12 also benefits from the latest evolution of Ferrari’s adaptive magnetorheological dampers (SCM-E), which react much more quickly, improved carbon-ceramic brakes and, as ever, the relentless evolution of the many traction and stability systems sees huge gains in control and speed.  Then there’s the famous aero-bridge – ducts set into the front wings – which reduce drag and improve downforce, plus active brake cooling ducts that only open when the discs are getting really hot, to reduce drag. The list of technical highlights is almost endless! Ferrari retained an aluminium chassis for the F12 but new materials increase stiffness and reduce weight. It really is quite a package!

In order to celebrate their 70th Anniversary, Ferrari commissioned 'Ferrari Tailor Made', together with the designers of Centro Stile to create separate liveries as an homage to 70 of the most beautiful Ferraris in history and in so doing have created 70 unique designs. And each one gets its own name. They decided to finish one example of each of their current range (GTC4Lusso, F12 Berlinetta, 488 GTB, 488 Spider, California T) in each of the 70 different liveries making a total of 350 cars. This F12 has been finished in Livery Number number 66 - 'Driving Emotion' which was inspired by the 599 GTO from 2010 and consequently is finished in Rosso Corsa with the roof and wing mirrors in Grigio Silverstone. The interior is in black leather and Charcoal Alcantara and the seats are covered in black 3D Sail Aunde fabric.

This, left-hand drive, F12 is therefore unique in the proper sense of the word and is effectively new, having only covered delivery miles.

2006 Ferrari 575 Superamerica 2006 Ferrari 575 Superamerica

2006 Ferrari 575 Superamerica

Lot #124 (Sale Order 25 of 68)

The revolutionary translucent roof brought a new dimension to top-down Ferrari motoring.

  • A limited-production convertible and the most desirable iteration of the vaunted 575M Maranello

  • 12 cylinders, 540bhp, and the six-speed electro-hydraulic F-1 transmission

  • One of only 599  produced, just 9,000 km from new and classic Ferrari colours

  • Open top Ferrari motoring at its best with the innovative Revochromico rotating hardtop

When Ferrari reintroduced to-seat, front-engined grand touring cars into their line-up in 1996 with the Pininfarina-designed 550 Maranello, it was evident that there would soon be a demand for a convertible version of the car. Though customers were thrilled with the 550 Barchetta Pininfarina, many felt limited by the lack of a conventional convertible top and only used their cars for quick out-and-back jaunts in the summertime. Looking to provide a solution to this sales-limiting problem when the 575M Maranello arrived, Ferrari introduced the Superamerica with its revolutionary rotating hardtop.

Unveiled at the LA and Detroit Auto Shows in 2003, the Superamerica was a Targa version of the 575M and was the first Ferrari to feature a motorised and folding hardtop. The title Superamerica extends back into Ferrari's history as a name that was given to the most exclusive and powerful luxury models. Derived directly from the 575M Maranello, the Superamerica's big 12-cylinder engine was boosted to deliver 540bhp through a six-speed electro-hydraulic F-1 transmission and independent front and rear suspension with coil springs, telescopic shock absorbers with adaptive damping and anti-roll bars, combined to keep the fastest convertible of the time on the road. Designed by Fioravanti, the innovative flip-top roof is made of translucent materials, which adjust to vary the amount of light coming into the cockpit. Called Revochromico by Ferrari, the system has five tint levels available and the glass can go from dark to light in under a minute. As the frame for the glass is made from very strong carbon fibre, the Superamerica can reach very high speeds with the top in the up or reclined position. The new car's performance figures were seriously impressive with 0-100 kph coming up in 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 320kph (199mph). A total of 559 Superamericas were built fitting in with Enzo Ferrari's philosophy that there should always be one fewer car available than the market demanded.

The Superamerica was a much more serious attempt at an open V12-engined Ferrari than the completely roofless and poorly executed 550 Barchetta and promised to bring a new dimension to the heavy-hitting thrills of the 575M Maranello without sacrificing too much in rigidity and real-world usability. This example is certainly no exception finished in the classic Ferrari hue of Rosso Corsa. The speedometer shows only 9,000km and as Montezemolo-era, six-speed F-1 transmission cars grow ever-more desirable, this example is surely a must-have for any serious Ferrari collector.

2015 McLaren P1 XP Carbon Series 2015 McLaren P1 XP Carbon Series

2015 McLaren P1 XP Carbon Series

Lot #125 (Sale Order 26 of 68)

One of only five 'Experimental Prototype' P1 Carbon Series.

  • Only five pre-delivered P1s were (re)built by McLaren Special Operations during 2015/16

  • All the standard P1 body panels were replaced by clear-coated carbon fibre

  • 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 with a lightweight electric motor. Combined output 903bhp and 664lb ft of torque

  • 0-100kph (62mph) in 2.8 seconds, 0-200kph (124mph) in 6.8 seconds, 0-300kph (186mph) in 16.5 seconds

  • Dating from 2015, this XP Carbon Series is Saudi registered and has covered just 1,000km

Offered here is probably the most exclusive limited edition of the best all-round hypercar available today. This stunning McLaren P1 finished in Carbon with full grey/black Alcantara is just one of five produced by the most experienced carbon composite exponents in the world. The finish is spectacular, to say the least, and comes from the company that has been producing carbon tubs for their Formula 1 cars since the early eighties.

The McLaren P1 Experimental Prototype (XP) Carbon Series consists of five, previously delivered, P1s. McLaren Special Operations replace all the standard P1s painted body panels with clear-coated carbon fibre equivalents and alongside the carbon, this particular example has a selection of bright red accents on the side skirts, rear diffuser, rear wing, front splitter, wheel rims, brake calipers and various P1 badges.

The Carbon Series cars only differ externally from the other 370 P1s and are mechanically identical, powered by a 3.8-litre, twin-turbocharged V-8 mated to an electric motor intended to fill the gaps in performance from the conventional petrol engine. This gives the P1 a total output of 903bhp (727bhp from the V-8 and 176bhp from the electric engine). Thanks to the car’s monstrous power output and unique aerodynamics, including adjustable front and rear wings providing as much as 600kg of downforce at 160mph, performance is nothing short of electrifying. 100kph takes just 2.8 seconds, followed by 200kph in 6.8 seconds, onwards to 300kph in 16.5 seconds (five full seconds faster than the venerable F1) and a top speed of 217mph (347kph).

A high-density lithium-ion battery pack powers the electric motor, which can be left to deploy automatically or selected by the driver, who thus has the options of using the petrol engine on its own, the electric motor on its own, or the two in combination. The battery can be charged by the engine or from the mains, with a full charge taking two hours. As one would expect from a manufacturer that has been a mainstay of Formula 1 for the last 50 years, McLaren endowed the P1 with a number of competition-derived high technologies in the form of IPAS (Instant Power Assist System), DRS (Drag Reduction System) and KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System).

The pedigree is unquestionable and the clear-carbon effect with red detail makes a very striking statement. Saudi registered, in virtually as new condition having covered just 1,002km, and being one of only five, this P1 Carbon Series is a must for any collector as its reputation can only follow the same global status as McLaren's F1 supercar.

1970 Ferrari Dino 246 GT 1970 Ferrari Dino 246 GT

1970 Ferrari Dino 246 GT

Lot #126 (Sale Order 27 of 68)

Left-hand drive 246 GT that has covered a mere 4,300km.

  • This stunning, left-hand drive 246 GT has covered a mere 4,300km

  • Finished in the classic Ferrari colour combination of Rosso and Crema

  • The 190bhp, 4-cam, V-6 is mounted transversely above the five-speed gearbox and just ahead of the rear axle

  • The voluptuous Pininfarina-designed/Scaglietti-built bodywork is beautifully timeless

  • Very competitively guided for such remarkable quality

The Ferrari Dino was built to honour Alfredo 'Dino' Ferrari who died of muscular dystrophy in 1956. He was the only legitimate son of Il Commendatore, and unlike any previous road-going Ferrari, the Dino utilised a V6 engine (Tipo 156) which Alfredo himself had developed and advocated during his lifetime. Enzo Ferrari vehemently answered his critics when he said: "For reasons of mechanical efficiency he finally came to the conclusion that the engine should be a V6 and we accept his decision." The acceptance of this decision resulted in a legacy of Motorsport orientated derivatives from Formula 1 through to various famous sports car racing applications.

Following the continued success on the track and in order to homologate Ferrari's 1966 Formula 2 campaign, a new line of mid-engined production V6 Coupes with Fiat running gear went on sale in 1967 in 2-litre form, however, in 1969 a larger 2.4 litre Dino was introduced, named the 246 GT. The voluptuous bodywork, which many people still regard as the prettiest ever to grace a road-going Ferrari, was designed by Pininfarina and built by Scaglietti and covered a tubular chassis which carried wishbone independent suspension at each corner. The compact, four-cam engine which delivered 190bhp, was mounted transversely above the five-speed gearbox and just ahead of the rear axle, allowing for both a comfortable cockpit and some usable boot space.

This stunning, left-hand drive 246 GT is showing only 4,300km on the odometer and is finished in the classic Ferrari colour combination of Rosso and Crema. A 246 GT Dino showing this mileage and level of quality is virtually impossible to repeat and, combined with this competitive estimate, this certainly looks like a very exciting proposition indeed.

1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL (W198) Brabus Restoration 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL (W198) Brabus Restoration

1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL (W198) Brabus Restoration

Lot #127 (Sale Order 28 of 68)

The immortal 300SL Coupe must surely be the World's ultimate classic car.

  • One of 1400 built between 1954 and 1957

  • 2975cc, straight-six with 215bhp. 0-62mph in 9.3 seconds and 136mph

  • Finished in black with a red leather interior

  • Fabulous restoration by world-leading Gullwing specialists Brabus GmbH

Instantly recognisable not only by automobile buffs, but virtually anyone on the planet, the immortal 300SL (for Sports Leicht) Gullwing Coupe arguably competes for the title of 'Greatest Sports Car of the 1950's', and surely qualifies for anyone's top ten list of the greatest automobiles of all time. A period favourite of wealthy celebrities, it ranks today among the most valued and collectable sports cars ever produced. The 300SL Coupe was the direct descendant of Mercedes Benz Le Mans W194 competition Coupe, conceived in 1952. It was aimed at wresting the World Sportscar Championship from Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, and Lancia, which were dominating post-war endurance racing. Mercedes-Benz historian, W. Robert Nitzke, writes that company management wanted to jump back into Grand Prix racing, where it had been so successful before the war, but lacked the time necessary to design, build, and develop a new single-seater for the 1954 season. Instead, Chief Engineer, Fritz Nallinger, suggested that the company build a new two-seat sports car utilising the strong in-line SOHC six-cylinder engine from its luxurious 300 series. Because the engine and drivetrain were relatively heavy, the chassis would have to be extremely light. Test Department manager Rudolf Uhlenhaut, having some experience with tubular chassis design, sat down with construction engineer Joseph Müller and laid out an extremely light (154 pounds) and rigid lattice-work chassis capable of accommodating the big in-line six. One major problem soon presented itself: there was no way to mount conventional doors without compromising the rigidity of the chassis. The solution was to raise the entry so that the doors cut into the roof, but that meant hinging them from the top, thus giving birth to this car's timeless signature design feature.New York imported auto-entrepreneur, Max Hoffman, is credited with urging Mercedes Benz to build a production sports car based on their 300SLR racer. He was remarkably persuasive and the new 300SL Gullwing, in final form, was unveiled at the New York International Motor Sports Show in early February 1954, with production beginning that Autumn. The new Coupe was only slightly changed in appearance from the SLRs but featured Bosch direct fuel injection. This prompted the factory to claim it was, "the fastest German production sports car". Between 1954 and 1957, a total of 1,400 Gullwings were delivered to eager purchasers, and in 1957, the elegant 300SL Roadster appeared, these proving to be even more successful from a sales standpoint, with 1,858 finding homes.

Finished in gleaming black with a fabulous red leather interior, this left-hand drive 300SL (W198) stands head and shoulders above any restored Gullwing we have seen for a long time. We understand that it was restored by Brabus GmbH of Bottrop who are known worldwide for the quality of their work building, developing and tuning Mercedes-Benz. They also have a much-respected restoration business and are certainly in the top five of Gullwing experts in the world. At the time of printing, we were not able to confirm the level of restoration applied to this amazing example, so for further information please contact Silverstone Auctions.

1979 Rolls-Royce Camargue 1979 Rolls-Royce Camargue

1979 Rolls-Royce Camargue

Lot #128 (Sale Order 29 of 68)

Rolls-Royce's flagship from the Seventies with only 13,600km.

  • An incredibly low mileage Camargue, at 13,600km

  • Left-hand drive, and delivered new to Saudi Arabia where it remains

  • In factory specification and finished in triple black

  • Opinion dividing when new, the day of the Camargue is finally here

Launched in 1975, the Camargue was the flagship of the Rolls-Royce range. With bodywork by Paulo Martin of Pininfarina and built by Mulliner Park Ward, it was the first post-war production Rolls-Royce not designed in-house and was Britain's most expensive production car at launch, selling for £29,250. The car made use of many mechanical components from other Rolls-Royce models and the mildly uprated 6750cc engine was from the Silver Shadow as was the three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. More precise rack-and-pinion steering was adopted from 1977 and an advanced split-level climate control system installed. The result was a powerful and comfortable two-door saloon with lots of space and phenomenal road presence.

Twice the price of a Silver Shadow and half as much again as a Corniche, the Camargue remained in production until 1986 during which time just 531 examples were built, the razor-edge styling dividing opinion like no Rolls-Royce before or since. Nowadays though, this extreme rarity has made the Camargue highly collectable and the majestic angularity of the coachwork is increasingly appreciated for its sculptural qualities, so evocative of haute couture of its period.

Dating from 1979, this left-hand-drive car was supplied new to the KSA where it still resides to this day. It remains completely in its original factory specification and although the combination of a Masons Black exterior and a black leather interior was unusual at the time, it now looks seriously cool. Having covered a mere 13,582km from new, this is surely one of the lowest mileage examples on the market and combined with it being one of the rarest, and most controversial Rolls-Royce models ever, the Camargue is undoubtedly a future collectable.

1985 Ferrari 288 GTO 1985 Ferrari 288 GTO

1985 Ferrari 288 GTO

Lot #129 (Sale Order 30 of 68)

A pristine example of the first of the marque's sensational line of supercars.

  • First and rarest of the modern Ferrari Supercars that followed (F40, F50, Enzo and LaFerrari)

  • Race-bred, 400bhp, 2.8-litre mid-mounted, twin IHI turbocharged, V8 with Weber-Marelli fuel injection

  • 55233 is the 135th GTO built and was delivered new to Austria

  • One of the famous 'White Collection' of seven Ferraris belonging to Chris Evans, put together by John Collins of Talacrest

  • Ground-up restoration costing in excess of £150,000 in 2009

  • Now finished in Rosso and Nero with only 31,000km from new

The original, immortal 250 GTO had been developed for the FIA GT Championship, duly taking the manufacturer's title for Ferrari in 1962, 1963 and 1964; clearly, any revival of the GTO name could only be permitted for a very special car indeed. Enter the 288 GTO. Like its illustrious forebear, the 288 GTO (the initials stand for Gran Turismo Omologato) was conceived as a limited-edition model, just 200 units being planned to meet the then-existing Group B homologation requirements for international sports car racing. Styled by Pininfarina's Leonardo Fioravanti, creator of the awe-inspiring Ferrari 365GTB/4 Daytona, the 288 GTO was based on the 308 GTB (another Fioravanti creation) and made its public debut at the Geneva Salon in February 1984. Fioravanti later recalled Enzo Ferrari's original design brief, 'There was no specific instruction, just to produce a car based on the 308 GTB that could be used for racing'.

Although superficially similar to the contemporary 308 GTB Quattrovalvole, the 288 GTO was radically different beneath the skin, mounting its V8 engine longitudinally rather than transversely, a change that necessitated a new chassis with a wheelbase extended from 234cm to 245.1cm. This new frame was constructed of steel tubes in the traditional manner while incorporating the latest in Formula 1-derived composite technology in the form of a Kevlar and Nomex bulkhead between the driver and engine. The alteration in engine layout had been made to accommodate twin IHI turbochargers and their associated Behr inter-coolers and plumbing; the adoption of forced induction requiring that the quad-cam, 32-valve V8 be downsized from 2,927cc to 2,855cc to comply with the regulations. Ferrari's considerable experience gained from turbo-charging its Formula 1 engine was deployed in adapting the 308 unit, the latter in highly modified 288 GTO form producing 400bhp at 7,000rpm and a mighty 366lb-ft of torque at just 3,800 revs. Top speed was a staggering 189mph.

Its three rear-wing cooling slots deliberately recalling the earlier GTO, the 288 bodywork likewise benefited from the adoption of F1 technology, being constructed of glass fibre and a mixture of the lightweight composite materials Kevlar and carbon fibre. Aerodynamically refined in the wind tunnel, the 288 GTO sported flared wheel arches, larger front and rear spoilers, taller door mirrors and four additional driving lights in the front grille, these subtly altered looks combining elegance with muscularity in equal measure. Given its race-bred, state-of-the-art technology and drop-dead gorgeous looks, it is not surprising that the 288 GTO appealed to Formula 1 drivers of the day, with Ferrari's Michele Alboretto and René Arnoux, and even McLaren's Nikki Lauda numbered among its owners. In the event, the 288 GTO never contested the races for which it had been conceived, as the FIA axed Group B, citing lack of manufacturer interest as the reason.

We understand that 55233 is the 135th GTO built (out of 272), was delivered new to Austria finished in white with a blue interior and was once part of Chris Evans' famous 'White Collection' of seven important Ferraris all finished in Bianco. It was subject to a ground-up restoration costing in excess of £150,000 in 2009. The car is now finished in Rosso Corsa with a Nero interior and has only covered 31,000km from new.

With total production amounting to only 272 cars, every one of which was sold prior to the start of production in July 1984, these cars have been covetable ever since the production ceased in 1986. The modest number built, particularly compared to all subsequent Ferrari flagship supercars, has ensured that today it is truly a worthy successor to the 250 GTO and remains one of the most desirable and sought-after Ferraris of recent times.

2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman 2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman

2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman

Lot #130 (Sale Order 31 of 68)

Luxury on a very large scale.

  • The brand-new Mercedes-Maybach Pullman Limousine debuted at the Geneva International Motor Show as a 50th Anniversary celebration of the venerable Pullman saloon

  • 20 feet long and five feet tall, the Pullman offers two backseat passengers incredible legroom

  • Two more passengers can enjoy that comfort in optional rear-facing seats that fold down

  • Powered by a bi-turbo 6.0-litre V12 with 523bhp (390 KW) and 612 lbs-ft (830 Nm)

  • Only 900km from new and presents as you would expect with such little use

  • A degree of luxury only rivalled by a large private jet

According to Daimler’s very own website: "Mercedes-Benz' unique wealth of experience as well as its role as a technical pioneer in the construction of prestigious special-protection limousines – a role which has been demonstrated time and time again over the years – puts the Stuttgart-based premium brand in a class of its own in this demanding segment. This is why governments, heads of state and royalty all over the world choose to make dignified progress in Mercedes-Benz limousines which are eminently worthy of the Pullman label. Like the famous Pullman railway coaches, the state limousines from Stuttgart are luxuriously spacious and outstandingly comfortable. The Pullman name was originally used to designate the luxurious open-plan railway coaches built by the American Pullman Palace Car Company and, as early as the 1920's, this name began to be used in the car industry to designate large, comfortable touring cars and prestige limousines with a partition between the driver's seat and the passenger compartment. Ever since, Mercedes-Benz has offered its customers Pullman limousines with an extremely spacious rear passenger compartment. Particularly notable among these are the Pullman limousines with an extra-long wheelbase which have been offered by Mercedes-Benz since 1963 and which allow four passengers to sit opposite each other in truly grand style".

Twenty-one feet long and five feet tall, the Pullman offers two backseat passengers incredible legroom and, powered by a bi-turbo 6.0-litre V12 with 523bhp (390 KW) and 612 lbs-ft (830 Nm), progress is remarkably swift. Finished in black with a white leather interior, this left-hand-drive S600 Pullman was delivered new to the UAE and has only covered 900km in total. This is a rare opportunity to own a vehicle that offers a degree of luxury perhaps only rivalled by a large private jet.

2015 Bentley Continental GT3-R 2015 Bentley Continental GT3-R

2015 Bentley Continental GT3-R

Lot #131 (Sale Order 32 of 68)

The most dynamic, responsive and involving Bentley road car ever with just delivery miles.

  • A limited-edition of 300 celebrating Bentley's successful return to International Motorsport

  • Finished in Glacier White with two-tone green graphics, and gloss black details

  • Powered by the 4-litre V8 used in the 2nd-generation Continental GT developed to 575bhp

  • A left-hand drive, delivery miles example supplied new to the UAE

Introduced in 2014, the Bentley Continental GT3-R was a new track-focused model hailed by its maker as 'the most dynamic, responsive and involving Bentley road car ever'. The GT3-R's original ancestor was the groundbreaking Bentley Continental GT of 2003, the introduction of which had marked a significant change of policy for Bentley Motors. Although still hand-assembled to a degree, the Continental GT was built using mass-production techniques and retailed at approximately half the price of the preceding Continental R, immediately opening up the prospect of Bentley ownership to a much wider audience. The first-generation GT was powered a twin-turbocharged version of the 6.0-litre W12 engine driving through a six-speed semi-automatic gearbox and permanent four-wheel drive. With 552bhp on tap, this mighty power unit was capable of propelling the two-ton Continental GT to 100km/h (62mph) in 4.8 seconds on its way to a top speed of around 197mph and these early cars were very well received. However, whilst enjoying the vast reserves of power available, W12 owners were not over-impressed with the fuel consumption and it wasn't long before the range was joined by the GT V8. Producing 500bhp, this all-new power unit incorporated the latest in fuel-saving technology, including cylinder deactivation and over-run alternator charging offering significantly better fuel consumption.

It was to be this new V8-powered car that would be chosen to spearhead Bentley's return to active competition. First seen in concept form at the 2012 Paris International Auto Salon, the GT3 was intended to bring the famous British manufacturer back to the forefront of international endurance racing. The car was developed jointly by a special team of Bentley engineers working with Malcolm Wilson's company, M-Sport Ltd and with its 4.0-litre V8 engine boosted to 600bhp, the rear-wheel-drive GT3 incorporated all the latest developments in competition-car technology. In 2014, the GT3 claimed Bentley's first home-soil win in 84 years when the works Bentley Motorsport entry, driven by Guy Smith, Andy Meyrick, and Steven Kane, won the second round of the Blancpain Endurance Series at Silverstone. Whilst still in its maiden season, the Continental GT3 added a win in the Blancpain round at Paul Ricard and also triumphed in the Pirelli World Challenge at Miller Motorsports Park in the USA before the year's end. There was never any chance that Bentley's marketing department would miss out on building a road version, and the resulting GT3-R was launched for the 2014 season at that year's Pebble Beach Concours. Maximum engine power was reduced slightly (to a still staggering 572bhp) which, combined with a reduction in weight of 100kg compared to the standard V8, endowed the GT3-R with truly supercar performance. Equally impressive was the maximum torque of 516lb/ft, which was delivered at a lowly 1,700 revs and vectored for each of the rear wheels. In addition, the GT3-R featured shorter gearing, re-calibrated control software, an all-new titanium exhaust system, 21 inch forged alloy wheels, electronic stability control, and a Carbon Silicon Carbide (CSiC) braking system with 8-piston front calipers.

Externally, the GT3-R boasted a vented bonnet and fixed carbon fibre rear wing and boot lid, whilst the Glacier White livery featured contrasting two-tone green graphics, and external trim fittings were picked out in gloss black. The two-seat cabin was trimmed in a mix of carbon fibre, Alcantara, and leather, with a smattering of GT3-R badges. The UK launch price was a substantial £237,500 and this, and the fact that only 300 were built, also helped to ensure its exclusivity.

The striking example we have here was originally supplied to UAE where it still resides now, having only delivery miles on the clock!

2013 Aston Martin V12 Zagato 2013 Aston Martin V12 Zagato

2013 Aston Martin V12 Zagato

Lot #132 (Sale Order 33 of 68)

A worthy tribute to the legendary DB4GT Zagato that inspired its creation.

  • Created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Aston Martin’s legendary DB4GT Zagato

  • Only 61 were built. This example is finished in Diavolo Red with Obsidian Black hides stitched in red

  • 510bhp, 5,935cc DOHC V-12 engine, six-speed manual transaxle

  • Independent suspension with double wishbones and coil springs. 4-wheel carbon-ceramic discs with ABS.

  • Delivered new to the UAE in left-hand drive. Factory fresh and basically as new

  • Thundering performance, understated refinement and every nuance shaped to perfection

Unveiled to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Aston Martin’s most legendary high-performance road car, the DB4GT Zagato, the V12 Zagato was first shown to the public in 2011 at the Villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza, where it was heralded with the competition’s “Design Award for Concept Cars and Prototypes”, and would enter limited production in 2012. Like the previous collaborations between Zagato and Aston Martin, the V12 Zagato instantly became the most desirable car in the Aston Martin line-up at the time, replete with an intended racing series. However, fewer were built and sold than intended, possibly as a result of the car's rather optimistic price tag of £330,000, and in the end, only 61 found homes.

Immediately recognisable as not only an Aston Martin but one with Zagato coachwork, the V12 Zagato is clothed in lightweight, hand-rolled aluminium and carbon-fibre body panels and over 2,000 hours of craftsmanship were expended in the construction of each. This represents the extreme application of Aston Martin’s know-how and the technologies, materials, and techniques that have been gained by creating the recent generation of Aston Martin cars, making the V12 Zagato a modern classic Aston Martin like no other.

The use of the finest materials has always distinguished Aston Martin from its rivals. Exquisitely shaped alloys and soft British hide leathers are joined by high-tech materials like carbon‑fibre composites and lightweight metal castings. A number of trademark Zagato design cues include a contemporary vestige of the famous Zagato double-bubble roof, with short front and rear overhangs and a wide mouth grille with a ‘Z’ motif. In terms of specification, the options were virtually limitless, through the manufacturer’s 'Q' Division and customers were able to choose from five exclusive colours, inspired by those available on the original DB4GT Zagato. Inside, the leather was hand-trimmed in a unique quilted Zagato motif, carrying through to the seats, door panels, and rear parcel shelf.

Underneath the gorgeous coachwork was Aston Martin’s highest-specification Vantage drivetrain to date with a 510bhp, 5,935cc DOHC V-12 engine, six-speed manual transaxle, front and rear independent suspension with double wishbones and coil springs, and four-wheel carbon-ceramic disc brakes with ABS.

This example is one of those 61 cars and is incredibly special as it has only covered a handful of delivery miles and is effectively brand new. It's left-hand drive, finished in Diavolo Red with Obsidian Black hide beautifully stitched in red and was delivered new to the UAE. A truly stunning Zagato and one for the collector.

Thundering performance in combination with understated refinement throughout, and with every nuance shaped to perfection, the Aston Martin V12 Zagato is a worthy tribute to the legendary DB4GT Zagato that inspired its creation.

2019 Bugatti Chiron Sport 2019 Bugatti Chiron Sport

2019 Bugatti Chiron Sport

Lot #133 (Sale Order 34 of 68)

Bugatti's breathtaking new interpretation of their ultimate super sports car.

  • The Sport is 41kg lighter than the standard Chiron

  • Firmer chassis settings, all-new dynamic torque vectoring and sport-focused suspension

  • 7,933cc Quad-Turbocharged W16 engine producing 1,500bhp at 6,700rpm

  • Duplex 32-Point Electronic Fuel Injection. 7-Speed Twin-Clutch Manual Automatic Transmission

  • 4-Wheel Independent Suspension, 4-Wheel Disc Brakes, All-Wheel Drive

  • NB. This car is currently in London and will, therefore, be sold 'in absentia'

This astonishing 2019 Chiron Sport is finished in British Racing Green with gloss black wheels and matt black detailing, an unlikely combination on paper, but in the metal is simply jaw-droppingly beautiful. The interior is classic Chiron in Saddle Tan/Anthracite leather and Alcantara.  The number '16' in Gold is positioned prominently on the black-painted grid of the radiator grille and refers to the number of cylinders in the Chiron's engine. The car is left-hand drive and we understand has covered just 980km.

NB. This car is currently in London and will, therefore, be sold 'in absentia'

1975 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow l LWB 1975 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow l LWB

1975 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow l LWB

Lot #135 (Sale Order 36 of 68)

Remarkably low mileage, beautifully presented and eminently driveable.

  • Sympathetically restored, left-hand drive, Silver Shadow l long wheelbase

  • Finished in Porcelain White with Bordeaux leather piped in white

  • One of only 2,780 long wheelbase cars and even fewer without the dividing panel

  • 6.75-litre, V8 coupled with Turbo-Hydramatic 400 transmission

  • Exported new to the KSA where it's still registered. Only 7,000km from new

From the time it was introduced in 1966 until its final year in 1980, the Silver Shadow was the mainstay of the Rolls-Royce range of models. The Silver Shadow offered a stylish and more practical alternative to the Silver Cloud it replaced and with unibody construction, hydraulically-actuated four-wheel disc brakes and four-wheel independent suspension, it was infinitely more modern and directly appealed to the new class of owner-driver.

One of the few features carried over from the earlier car was the overhead-valve V8 engine, now displacing 6,750cc, and benefitting from revised cylinder heads. Output was reckoned to be approximately 200 horsepower, but like a gentleman, Rolls-Royce never told. Although never considered a fast car, with the help of the General Motors-sourced 'Turbo-Hydramatic 400' transmission, the Silver Shadow was smooth, quiet and capable of rapid and comfortable cruising.

This particular Silver Shadow is a long-wheelbase car dating from 1975 and was finished in left-hand drive before being exported new to the KSA where it remains registered. Only 2,780 long wheelbase cars were built, fewer without the division between the front and rear seats. Cars without the dividing panel are more desirable offering more legroom in the rear and enabling the driver's seat to go back further. Remarkably, it has only covered some 7,000km during that period, incredibly low mileage and likely impossible to find again. The car has been subject to a sympathetic restoration, retaining as much originality as possible, and carefully restoring or replacing everything else with the intention of returning it, both visually and mechanically, to as close to new as possible. It is currently presented in Porcelain White with a Bordeaux leather interior piped in white and is an excellent example of the era-defining Silver Shadow.

2013 Gumpert Apollo S 2013 Gumpert Apollo S

2013 Gumpert Apollo S

Lot #136 (Sale Order 37 of 68)

1 of only 13 examples of the dramatic Gumpert Apollo Sport. Delivery miles only.

  • 2013 Apollo Sport finished in Matte Black and registered in the UAE. Delivery miles only

  • 690bhp twin-turbocharged version of Audi’s 4.2-litre 90-degree V8 mated to a six-speed sequential transmission

  • Amazing interior in black carbon-fibre with red-stitched, grey Alcantara and further red details

The brainchild of former Audi engineer Roland Gumpert and based in Altenburg in the far east of Germany, the Apollo draws heavily on his racing experience and his enduring links with the Ingolstadt manufacturer. Using a twin-turbocharged version of Audi’s 4.2-litre 90-degree V8 – complete with lightweight internals – and mated to a six-speed sequential transmission, the Apollo was available in three versions: the entry-level Apollo (641bhp), the Apollo Sport (690bhp) and Apollo R (for race) at an incredible 789bhp.

Production of the Apollo started in October 2005 and, not long later, the first fully functioning road car made its way to Europe, became fully road-legal and was sold in various Gumpert dealerships. Car reviewers praised the car's speed and cornering. During a review in Autocar magazine, chief test driver Matt Prior stated that "the Apollo recalibrates the meaning of pure speed and driving feel". On Series 11 of Top Gear, the Apollo lapped the Top Gear test track in a time of 1:17.1, setting a record that lasted for two years until surpassed by the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.

The Apollo S is equipped with an extended aerodynamic package and, in contrast to the three-part spoiler of the entry-level car, possesses a racing wing which produces even more downforce and pushes the Sport's maximum speed up to 360kph.

On offer here is an unused, delivery mileage Apollo S that was built in 2013 finished in matte black with red-stitched grey Alcantara and black carbon fibre. Believed to be one of only 13, this is a rare car and possibly one of the last from the production line before bankruptcy was filed in August 2013.

2012 Aston Martin V12 Vantage (Manual) 2012 Aston Martin V12 Vantage (Manual)

2012 Aston Martin V12 Vantage (Manual)

Lot #137 (Sale Order 38 of 68)

A stunning UAE supplied, left-hand drive, manual gearbox, V12 in Cobalt Blue.

  • Supplied new to the UAE in left-hand drive with a manual gearbox

  • 6-litre V12 producing 510bhp. Aston's biggest engine shoehorned into their smallest sports car

  • 0-100km/h in a mere 4.2 seconds, this engine, gearbox and chassis work in complete harmony

  • In Cobalt Blue, with a manual gearbox and only 600km, this is a very desirable Aston

In early 2008, Aston Martin CEO Dr. Ulrich Bez confirmed that production of the V12 Vantage would commence in mid-2009, though with the 510bhp engine shared with Aston Martin's other 12-cylinder models rather than the Vantage RS prototype's 580bhp dry-sump racing unit. Based on the V8 Vantage Coupe, the production V12 Vantage is powered by Aston Martin's 6.0-litre V12 as found in the V12 Vanquish, DB9, and DBS models. Getting the V12 to fit the V8 Vantage chassis involved grafting on the engine cradle from the DB9, while the resulting weight increase and more forward weight distribution was accommodated by revised suspension settings. Boasting a kerb weight of 1,695kg (3,737lb), the V12 Vantage accelerates from 0-62mph (100 kph) in 4.2 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 190mph (306kph).

The V12 Vantage’s interior features plush full-grain leather with an Alcantara headlining, power seats and automatic temperature control. Steering wheel-mounted audio controls are standard for the base 160-watt audio system. Alloy dash trim was standard and piano black trim was available. Heated, memory seats, a voice-activated Bluetooth, a 700-watt audio system with Dolby Pro Logic II, and personalised sill plates were amongst the many factory options. Optional carbon fibre and Kevlar composite seats save 37 pounds per car, the instruments and gauges were redesigned to be more legible at speed and carbon fibre and Alcantara were used throughout the cabin to help lighten the car’s overall mass.

This left-hand drive, manual gearbox, V-12 Vantage was supplied new to the UAE and now resides in Dubai. Finished in a stunning shade of Cobalt Blue with a Spectral Blue and Obsidian Black leather and Alcantara interior, the car has covered a mere 600km from new and remains in pristine condition.

  • Official World Record Edition established 269.806mph

  • Registered in the KSA

  • Full White with a striking red interior and 6,000km from new. One of only 58

The Targa-top version of the Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4, dubbed the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport, was unveiled at the 2008 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. It has extensive reinforcements to compensate for the lack of a standard roof   and small changes to the windshield and running lights. Two removable tops are included, the second a temporary arrangement fashioned after an umbrella. The top speed with the hardtop in place is the same as the standard Coupe version, but with the roof removed is limited to 369km/h (229 mph) and to 130km/h (81 mph) with the temporary soft roof. The Grand Sport edition was limited to 150 units, with the first 50 going exclusively to registered Bugatti customers. Production began in the second quarter of 2009.

Several special variants have been produced. In December 2010, Bugatti began offering prospective buyers the ability to customise exterior and interior colours by using the Veyron 16.4 Configurator application on the marque's official website. The Bugatti Veyron was discontinued in late 2014. But special edition models continued in production until 2015.

On offer here is a 16.4 Grand Sport in Full White with a striking red leather interior that was built in 2011 and remains in standard factory specification. It has covered just 6,000km at the point of cataloguing and is currently registered in the KSA.

2004 Lamborghini Murciélago 40th Anniversary 2004 Lamborghini Murciélago 40th Anniversary

2004 Lamborghini Murciélago 40th Anniversary

Lot #139 (Sale Order 40 of 68)

Number 2 of only 50 '40th Anniversary' Murceliagos and only 370km from new.

  • Dating from 2004, this is number two of 50, 40 th Anniversary Murceliagos

  • Finished in Verde Artemis (jade green) with retro grey/Anthracite alloys

  • 571bhp naturally aspirated, V12, four-wheel drive. 0-100kph (62mph) in 3.8 seconds

  • Aircon, Xenons, ABS and ESP. Asymmetric interior in Grigio Syrius perforated leather

  • Lightly used having covered only 370km and in a commensurate condition

In 2004, to celebrate Lamborghini’s 40th Anniversary, the House of the Raging Bull offered a special, limited edition series of its supercar Murcielago. It had become traditional for Sant'Agata to celebrate important anniversaries and following on from the Countach 25th Anniversary edition launched in 1988 and the Diablo SE launched in 1993, Automobili Lamborghini introduced the Murcielago 40th Anniversary Edition which was limited to 50 cars. They were only available in an exclusive Verde Artemis (jade green) colour, with a three-layer pearl effect paint and featured some significant modifications – both internal and external – compared to the series production Murcielago.

The upper door moulds, as well as the voletto or pillar surrounding the rear window where the petrol door is located, featured an optic carbon fibre coating and the bespoke, model-only, alloy wheels were finished in Anthracite Grey and sported logos accurately reproducing Lamborghini's trademark. These cars were also fitted with a newly designed exhaust system and silver-grey callipers. Last but not least, the cars had a lateral side plaque featuring the 40th Anniversary logo as well as an internal limited edition numbered plaque located inside the rear window.

The interior is also new with an asymmetrical design. The driver’s side is trimmed with Grigio Syrius (dark grey) perforated leather and the passenger's side with smooth black leather, a bit quirky we know but it works quite well in practice. The new accessories are completed with special floor mats featuring the 40th Anniversary logo and an Alpine radio with incorporated CD player.

Mechanically these cars were no different from the standard 2004 Murceliago and utilised the 571bhp naturally aspirated, V12 producing 571bhp which was fed to all four wheels.

This particular example is number two of the 50, has only covered 370km from new and looks spectacular in its gleaming coat of Verde Artemis.

2009 Lamborghini Reventon No. 6/20 2009 Lamborghini Reventon No. 6/20

2009 Lamborghini Reventon No. 6/20

Lot #140 (Sale Order 41 of 68)

Limited production number, exclusive and collectable supercar.

  • Number six of just 20 exclusive examples sold between 2007 – 2009

  • Sought after, rare and highly collectable, examples seldom come to market

  • Very low use, indicating just 3,000km at the time of cataloguing

  • Carbon fibre body finished in Grigio Reventon with a Nero and Verde Oliva interior

Manfred Fitzgerald, Lamborghini’s Director of Brand and Design at the time, apparently made a number of visits to the NATO base at Ghedi and is believed to have used the Lockheed-Martin F-22 Raptor as the Reventon’s inspiration. It's fairly clear to see, given everything from the gaping front air intakes, the vastly reclined cock-pit style bucket seats and the wing-like scissor doors, that this Lamborghini’s design couldn’t be moulded on anything else.

The Reventon was the company's first real limited-production Halo Car created to give the world a glimpse of the brand's next production car which, in this case, was the dramatic Aventador in 2011. Lamborghini produced just 20 customer Reventons (and one for its museum), ten of which were destined for the United States.

As well as representing the F-22 Raptor visually, the car's pace isn’t far behind, with Lamborghini’s raucous V12, 6,496cc engine, pushing out 650bhp, combined with a six-speed, single-clutch, paddle shift mechanical transmission. Lamborghini also decided to opt for front and rear independent suspension with hydraulic shock absorbers, co-axial coil springs as well as four-wheel ventilated disc brakes, utilising ABS. This astonishing package means that the Reventon propels its occupants from 0-62mph in a Raptor-rivalling 3.4 seconds.

The bodywork is entirely carbon fibre and has some aerodynamic pieces, such as the subtle canards, leading to a 10% reduction in the drag coefficient as well as notable increases in both front and rear end downforce at high speeds. From the seat of this left-hand-drive model, the driver can observe the TFT liquid crystal screens, displaying the digital circular tachometer dials, representing those of a fighter jet. On the armrest between the seats, you'll find a plaque with '6/20' stamped on it, indicating that this car is number six of the Reventon's 20-car production run. Just like its 19 siblings, this example is finished in a special Grigio Reventon (opaque grey) exterior with Nero (black) and Verde Oliva (olive green) interior.

All 20 of Lamborghini’s Reventon were sold upon release to faithful collectors of the marque, and they seldom appear for sale making this a rare opportunity. Number six of 20 is displaying just 3,000km on its odometer and this nearly new example would be a fitting addition to any collection of ultimate supercars.

2017 Ferrari F12TDF 'Tailor Made' 2017 Ferrari F12TDF 'Tailor Made'

2017 Ferrari F12TDF 'Tailor Made'

Lot #141 (Sale Order 42 of 68)

This tdf is totally bespoke courtesy of Ferrari's Tailor Made Programme.

  •  Ferrari upped the ante in October 2015 with the unveiling of the tdf

  •  Shares the same 6.3-litre V12 with the Berlinetta but with 39bhp more (769bhp)

  •  0-100 kph (62mph) in 2.9 seconds and 0-200kph (124mph) in 7.9 seconds

  •  This tdf is totally bespoke courtesy of Ferrari's Tailor Made Programme

  •  In triple-layer, special order Blu Elettrico with Giallo Modena and Silver Racing Livery

  • UK-supplied, UK registered and 1,300km from new

The F12 Berlinetta is the ultimate front-engined, rear-wheel drive Grand Tourer from Ferrari and made its debut at the 2012 Geneva show. It features one of the last naturally-aspirated, V12 engines of 6,300cc which produces 740PS with a mind-boggling 690 N.m of torque resulting in 0-62mph in just 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 211mph.

In October 2015, Ferrari announced a limited-edition variant, the F12tdf, its nomenclature referencing a competition variant of the 250 GT, so named following the latter's many victories in the Tour de France Automobile in the late 1950's/early 1960's. Like its illustrious predecessor, the F12tdf was a lightweight, track-focused model aimed at wealthy connoisseurs and gentleman racers and only 799 were built during the 2016 and 2017 seasons. The F12tdf utilised the same 6.3-litre V12 engine as the standard car, albeit modified to produce 770bhp, and the deletion of much of the leather/aluminium interior trim in favour of Alcantara and carbon fibre, together with swapping many exterior aluminium panels for carbon fibre, resulted in a weight loss of a substantial 110kg. The result was a reduction of the 0-100 kph time to 2.9 seconds, top speed was now in excess of 340kph and around Fiorano, the F12tdf was 2.0 seconds quicker than its standard sibling.

Ferrari Tailor Made is the exclusive Ferrari programme for those customers who want to customise each element of their car for a perfect fit, creating an unmistakable, one-of-a-kind vehicle which reflects their personality and tastes. Although, as the name suggests, a customer can choose from a huge variety of options, as a starting point Tailor Made cars offer three categories, Scuderia, Classica and Inedita. The Scuderia collection draws heavily on racing for inspiration, offering a host of materials and finishes created for competition including carbon fibre, sports fabrics, Alcantara, microfibre, Kevlar or satin-finish, matte or ultralight metals.

This left-hand drive, 2017 F12tdf has benefitted from the Tailor Made Scuderia programme and is finished in Triple Layer Special Order Blu Elettrico with Giallo Modena and Sparkling Silver Racing Livery. The bespoke elements of the car's specification include;       Blu Scuro Alcantara interior, Blu Scuro leather steering wheel, Giallo stitching, Giallo Modena rear diffuser dreamline, matte external carbon elements, yellow F1 button stripe, matte blue internal carbon fibre parts, internal aluminium elements and footrests in matte silver. Additional matts in Blu Scuro Alcantara with yellow stitching and logo, ball polished wheels, 4-point safety harnesses yellow, centre console panels, rear bench luggage shelf and straps, boot carpet, boot trim, seats inner trim, headliner (all in Blu Scuro Alcantara), suspension lifter, body coloured outer mirrors, titanium exhaust pipes, HELE system, radionavi system & Bluetooth, front and rear parking cameras, yellow rev counter, integrated audio system, adaptive front light system and yellow brake calipers.

Bespoke carbon fibre parts include dash inserts, racing seats, filter box cover, fog lamp,  engine covers, headlight bucket, under door cover, floor plates, parcel shelf and rear bench trim.

This is an amazing specification and we can't imagine there is another F12 quite like it. It was supplied new to the UK, is currently UK registered and we understand it has covered 1,300km from new.

1995 Porsche 911 (993) Turbo 1995 Porsche 911 (993) Turbo

1995 Porsche 911 (993) Turbo

Lot #142 (Sale Order 43 of 68)

A superbly presented, low mileage 993 Turbo in immaculate condition.

  • Dating from November 1995. Left-hand drive, US-specification car

  • Finished in Guards Red with Savannah leather and cashmere carpets

  • One owner and only 7,975 miles from new. Supplied with its original documents

  • In fabulous, virtually showroom condition

  • In period, there was simply nothing to touch the 993 Turbo

The 993 Turbo, introduced in mid-1995, retained a tight hold on the torch of the most powerful 911 variant whilst continuing the general development and improvements to the breed as a whole. Amongst the new features on the Turbo was an electronically controlled, viscous coupling, all-wheel-drive system, something Porsche had not offered on a turbocharged model since the 959 and a system that greatly improved the driveability of the car. Under the engine lid, now topped with a sculpted tail spoiler with downturned edges, lived the 3.6-litre, flat-six force-fed by twin K16 turbos. Combined with bigger brakes, fatter tires, a wide body and lower stance, the 993 Turbo was one of the fastest cars on the planet. With all four wheels helping to evenly distribute great handfuls of power, 0-60mph was dispatched in a staggering 3.7 seconds, 100mph whistled by in a further 5.7 seconds, and the linear forward thrust continued until the speedometer needle had said goodbye to 180mph and you were on conversational terms with the horizon.

Dating from November 1995, this lovely example is a left-hand drive, US-specification car finished in Guards Red with a Savannah Tan interior and cashmere coloured carpets. According to the odometer (in miles), it has only covered 7,975 miles from new in the hands of one owner and is in a commensurate, virtually showroom condition complete with all its documents.

2019 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake 2019 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake

2019 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake

Lot #143 (Sale Order 44 of 68)

When the Z of Zagato and the Wings of Aston Martin combine, the result is always special.

  • Dating from mid-2019, one of only 99 Shooting Brakes produced. 570km from new

  • Finished in special-order Topaz Chrome 2 with a stunning Sahara Tan interior

  • Powered by Aston Martin’s 6.0-litre V-12 producing 580 bhp and 630 Nm of torque

  • Superbly equipped with an incredible options list including the Villa d’Este package

  • Zagato and Aston Martin, a marriage made in Heaven

While only a handful of models over the course of Aston Martin’s century-old history have been fortunate enough to be dressed by Zagato, it’s clear that these models are amongst the most valuable Aston Martins in existence. Starting with the breath-taking DB4GT Zagato of the 1960's, the collaboration between the two firms remained dormant for over two dozen years before the next Zagato-bodied Aston Martin, the V8 Vantage, was introduced at the 1986 Geneva Motor Show. Fast forward nearly another two decades, and that was followed by the DB7 Zagato. Luckily, enthusiasts would not have nearly as long to wait for the next Zagato-bodied Aston Martins, with the V12 Vantage Zagato and finally, the modern Vanquish Zagato.

Aston Martin’s most recent collaboration with Zagato was first seen at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in 2016. Built on the Vanquish platform, this two-door Coupe boasted a variety of typically Zagato design cues, yet was instantly recognisable as an Aston Martin, albeit one with a bit more Italian flair! Shortly following the Coupe, several other body styles were introduced, including a Volante, Roadster and arguably the most compelling, a Shooting Brake.

The stunning coachwork was made completely of carbon fibre using larger panels and fewer split lines than usual, helping to create a truly handcrafted appearance and a seamless design, almost as if it was sculpted from a single piece of metal. Underneath its coachwork, Aston Martin’s 6.0-litre V-12 produces 580bhp and 630 Nm of torque, which helps the car sprint to 100 kph from a standstill in just 3.5 seconds. Further mechanical changes include a slightly more open exhaust, creating for a more sonorous exhaust note, and a slightly stiffer suspension.

As one would expect for a coachbuilt motor car, each Vanquish Zagato was fully customisable, leaving their lucky owners to tailor their new cars to their specific tastes. It would be difficult to find two examples with identical specifications, making each car just as special as the last and that was certainly the case here. This striking car is finished in special-order Topaz Chrome 2 which really suits the car's elegant lines and complements the stunning Sahara Tan interior. The long list of this car's standard features runs to two pages, however, a close inspection of the invoice from Park Place Aston Martin reveals that the options list was ticked to the tune of a further $173,961. This includes the Villa d'Este package (the badges, wheel spokes, and side strakes are picked out in gold – which is then brought through to the dashboard on vents and elements of switchgear) - $30,630, carbon fibre roof panel - $10,700, Burl Ash dashboard veneers and fascia trim - $29,061, and duo-tone machined aluminium-£45,495 and much more. In addition, the car has been equipped with a set of Bridge of Weir leather fitted luggage in Sahara Tan. There are only 99 of these cars and this is the only one that looks like this.

Truly stunning to behold and arguably one of the most compelling Aston Martins ever built, the Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake is a fabulous motor car in all regards and this unique, virtually as-new example, would be an exciting addition to any collection of modern supercars.

2008 McLaren Mercedes SLR Roadster 2008 McLaren Mercedes SLR Roadster

2008 McLaren Mercedes SLR Roadster

Lot #144 (Sale Order 45 of 68)

Stunning, UAE-registered, soft-top SLR with only 2,964 miles and offered at No Reserve.

  • 617bhp, 5439cc, supercharged V8 - the ultimate Grand Tourer with everyday usability

  • Introduced in 2003 and developed jointly with the McLaren Technology Centre

  • This example dates from October 2008 and was built to US-specification with a speedometer in mph

  • It's finished in Crystal Black Metallic with an ivory and carbon black interior and black soft top

  • It has covered 2,964 miles from new, is currently UAE registered and is being offered at No Reserve

Yet the term supercar does not do full justice to the SLR, which, its peerless performance notwithstanding, is a luxurious and finely engineered Gran Turismo in the best traditions of Mercedes-Benz. Rather than creating an all-out, no-compromise supercar, Mercedes-Benz and McLaren decided to take a slightly different route. Instead of placing the engine behind the cabin, the car had a front-mid-engine layout, with the engine sitting behind the front wheels and just ahead of the cabin. This, near-perfect, weight distribution not only helped to improve the SLR's handling but also provided the car with a rather spacious cabin and a decent boot, not common in cars boasting such performance credentials. As it was supremely engineered and built to incredible standards at McLaren's facilities in Woking, it boasted a very high level of fit and finish, absolutely appropriate for any car wearing a Mercedes-Benz badge.

The heart of any car is its engine, and that of the SLR McLaren is truly outstanding. Produced at Mercedes-Benz's AMG Performance Division, it's a 5.5-litre, 24-valve, supercharged V8 producing 617bhp, making it one of the most powerful engines ever found in a series-produced road-going sports car. Impressive though this peak horsepower figure is, it's the torque produced by the Lysholm-type twin-screw supercharger that is its most remarkable feature. The torque curve is almost flat: there is already 440lb/ft by 1,500 rpm and well over 500lb/ft between 3,000 and 5,000 revs, and acceleration is equally phenomenal, with 0 to 60 mph taking just 3.8 seconds and the quarter-mile only 11 seconds. Of course, a car with such impressive speed credentials also requires an equally impressive braking system. An automatic airbrake and Mercedes-Benz's Sensotronic brake by wire system assist the massive carbon-ceramic disc brakes and help bring the SLR McLaren down from 120 mph to a stop in less than 240 feet.

Finally, in 2007, the long-awaited SLR Roadster was introduced. The carbon body had been further developed to achieve top-level torsional stiffness and a special challenge was the soft top which had to be totally adapted to the car's 206mph top speed. The soft top has to be manually unlatched but after that, it's fully electric and the crowd-pleasing signature scissor doors, that swing out and up on massive hydraulic struts, are similar to the Coupes

This striking example dates from October 2008 and has only covered 2,964 miles since then. It was built to a USA specification and naturally, the speedometer and odometer read in miles. It's finished in Crystal Black Metallic with silver Turbine alloys and a black soft top and the interior is superbly finished in Ivory and Carbon Black and, we understand, may well be unique to this car. It is currently UAE registered and is on offer at No Reserve.

1997 Porsche 911 (993) Turbo S 1997 Porsche 911 (993) Turbo S

1997 Porsche 911 (993) Turbo S

Lot #145 (Sale Order 46 of 68)

The Turbo 'S' is one of the most powerful models to have worn the 911 moniker and as a result has become hugely desirable.

  • Desirable last iteration of the air-cooled Turbo

  • 450bhp, 3.6-litre air-cooled, flat-six with twin turbochargers and electronic fuel injection

  • Six-speed manual transaxle, independent suspension, ventilated discs and all-wheel drive

  • Dating from July 1997, this is one of 345 examples, all built by Porsche’s Exclusive Department

  • Finished in Black with Cashmere Beige leather and Chestnut carpets

  • Just 32,000km, UAE registered and supplied with all  its documents and service history

Sitting near the top of the 993-generation hierarchy, Porsche’s 911 Turbo S was introduced as the first-ever model of its kind in 1997. The basic facts can look a bit dry; type 993, 450bhp, 3605cc air-cooled flat six-cylinder engine with twin turbochargers and electronic fuel injection, six-speed manual transaxle, front and rear independent suspension with coil springs, and four-wheel ventilated steel disc brakes, however, the Turbo S was a big step up over the standard 911 Turbo in terms of performance and price. Headlined by a 0–60mph time of 3.6 seconds, the S could hit 100mph from a standstill in 8.9 seconds, only half a second faster than the standard Turbo. But that didn't matter, the Turbo S was special and getting your name on the waiting list to buy one was nigh on impossible unless you were very closely related to a Dealer Principal. All 345 examples of the 993 Turbo S were built by Porsche’s Exclusive department and the specification included a number of unique features when compared to other 911's of the period. The car sported yellow brake callipers, a unique rear spoiler, polished five-spoke Turbo S wheels, an Aerokit front spoiler, an air intake in the rear wings, and four exhaust pipes at the rear. Inside, the car luxuriated in carbon fibre trim contrasting with the softest of leathers and provided the type of luxury that customers had come to know and love from Porsche’s top-shelf models.

The Turbo S delivered stunning performance in a package as luxurious and exclusive as discerning Porsche customers had come to expect and was one of the very few supercars that could comfortably be driven as a daily commuter. Collectors today value the 'S' for its rarity, performance, and the timeless styling of the final iteration of the legendary air-cooled 911 Turbo.

This striking example is finished in Black with Cashmere Beige leather and Chestnut carpets. It dates from July 1997, has covered just 32,000km, is UAE registered and is supplied with all appropriate documents and its service history.

2013 Bugatti Veyron Super Sport World Record Edition 2013 Bugatti Veyron Super Sport World Record Edition

2013 Bugatti Veyron Super Sport World Record Edition

Lot #146 (Sale Order 47 of 68)

The ultimate development of the world's ultimate performance car.

  • The Veyron16.4 Super Sport World Record Edition is one of only five

  • Created to celebrate the car's record-breaking 268-mph top speed run at Volkswagen's Ehra-Lessian

  • In black carbon fibre, with orange carbon fibre elements and orange details against the black cabin trim

  • Similar mechanically to the 1,200bhp/1,500Nm Super Sport with the speed limiter removed

To call the Veyron the most important sports car of this generation or any other is, quite simply, an understatement. With utter disregard to cost, it was built to be superlative in all respects and prove the brand’s relentless pursuit of superiority. No other car could ever carry this mantle because no other car will ever logically benefit from the same production budget that the Veyron had. Bugatti went to great lengths to ensure that even the most minute detail, which will never be seen by even the most astute buyer, was made of the finest materials on earth and finessed to the most razor-sharp tolerances, regardless of cost. The Veyron is, therefore, the benchmark against which all other 200-mph, ultra-high horsepower supercars will be measured.

This is the ultimate development of the world’s ultimate performance car. Bugatti engineers have modified, perfected and honed numerous elements of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 to create the 1,200hp Super Sport, with 1,500Nm of torque and a top speed limited to 258mph. This may well be the most advanced performance car available, but it is also very much in the Bugatti tradition. Even back in the time of Ettore Bugatti, customers would try and persuade the master designer to take his ideas that bit further, to create an ever more capable sports racer or grand tourer that went faster and handled better.

The Super Sport has an unmistakable low, long profile and the immensely powerful engine now gets its air from NACA cooling ducts set into the roof, rather than the engine scoops of the original Veyron 16.4. The front air intakes have been expanded and reshaped for optimum efficiency, while the lower ones curve elegantly around the front spoiler into the wheel arch. From the rear, a new double diffuser and centrally positioned exhausts hint at the extra extreme performance potential.

To boost the power of the awesome W16 8.0-litre quad-turbocharged engine, enlarged turbochargers and intercoolers have been used. To maintain the Veyron’s incredible grip and balance, the chassis has also been extensively modified. Slightly raised spring rates, stiffer and stronger anti-roll bars, and race-bred new shock absorbers have all been developed, adding precision and control at very high speeds. With even closer interaction between tyres and the four-wheel-drive system, the 16.4 Super Sport generates lateral forces of up to 1.4G and unmatched acceleration in any conditions. The famous, all-carbon-fibre, monocoque has been uprated to ensure incredible torsional rigidity and complete safety for occupants but, despite these advances, overall weight has been reduced. The entire skin of the ultimate Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport is made of carbon composite, and the car could be specified in 100 per cent clear-lacquered carbon to expose its high-tech beauty.

However, enough is never enough, and in 2010 at the Quail, followed by the 2010 Monterey Historic Races at Laguna Seca, and the 2010 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Bugatti unveiled the Veyron 16.4 Super Sport World Record Edition created to celebrate the car's record-breaking 268-mph top speed run at Volkswagen's Ehra-Lessian high-speed oval. Only five of these cars were ever built, all presented in black carbon fibre, with orange carbon fibre elements and a smattering of orange details against the black cabin trim. These five cars were mechanically similar to the Super Sport but, appropriately, the 'speed-limiter' was removed.

Silverstone Auctions are proud to be involved in the sale of one of the five WRE cars and welcome any inspection.

•    A left-hand-drive Daytona finished in Ferrari Blu and Pelle Beige•    Indicating just 10,626km at the time of cataloguing•    Superbly restored and amongst the finest in the world•    An early car fitted with the more desirable Plexiglass front end

Two years after Lamborghini debuted the mid-engined Miura in 1966, Ferrari launched its defiantly traditional and determinedly contrasting alternative, the 365 GTB/4. Almost immediately the 365 GTB/4 gained its ‘Daytona' moniker as a result of Ferrari's 1-2-3 result in the 1967 24-hour race at the famous Florida circuit. The Daytona's engine and handling certainly didn't undermine its racing nomenclature. The 4.4-litre, 4-cam V12 produced an astonishing 352bhp and, despite its, less than slimline, 1,633 kilos, the Daytona was billed as the fastest road car in the world at the time. Not only was 174mph more than brisk, but, crucially, it was faster than the Miura. The five-speed gearbox was mounted at the rear for optimal weight distribution and helped give the Daytona its predictable handling and solid road-holding. Like so many Ferrari of the period, the Daytona's beautiful bodywork was designed by Pininfarina with the car built by Scaglietti. The delicate front was cleanly cut with initially, smooth Plexiglass headlight covers and subsequently, pop-up headlights, the rear slope was suggestively rakish, and a Kamm tail provided further clues that this was a serious motor car. The wheel arch flares, although elegant in proportion, are the only real overt notion that this car has significant pace.

US safety regulations meant that the Plexiglass version became short-lived, and in 1971 pop-up headlamps were fitted instead.  A little over 400 Plexiglass-fronted Daytonas were manufactured, and Ferrari collectors now view those cars as the most attractive and desirable version of the model.

This stunning, left-hand drive Daytona does indeed have the sought-after Plexiglass nose and had covered just 10,626Km at the time of cataloguing. Superbly restored to a standard that means that it's quite at home with the rest of the world's finest cars on offer here today and perfectly finished in gloriously dark Ferrari Blu paint with a classic 'Daytona' interior in Pelle Beige leather, this car is a 'must-have' for any significant collection of Maranello's finest.

1973 Porsche 911 2.7 RS 1973 Porsche 911 2.7 RS

1973 Porsche 911 2.7 RS

Lot #148 (Sale Order 49 of 68)

Considered by many to be one of the greatest of all post-war road cars.

•    Regarded by many collectors and journalists as the greatest 911 ever produced•    Left-hand drive delivered new to Italy and we are informed is in ‘lightweight’ specification•    Restored in 2013 by Bale Motorsport in Germany and finished in, very rare, Emerald Green.•    Been with our vendor in Dubai since 2013. Certificate of Authenticity included •    Considered by many to be one of the greatest of all post-war road cars

The Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 is regarded by many collectors and journalists as the greatest 911 ever produced. The car was manufactured as a direct result of Porsche's racing (RennSport) programme. Porsche stripped most of the weight out of the existing 911 by using thinner metal for body panels, thinner glass and removing soundproofing. Performance was also enhanced with larger rear wheel arches housing 7" wheels, a 'ducktail' rear spoiler, larger brakes and a larger fuel-injected 2,687cc engine producing 210bhp. FIA Group 4 regulations for homologation required that at least 500 examples had to be produced to exacting lightweight competition specification for road use.  Porsche eventually produced 1,580 RS examples made up of cars built to both 'Touring' specification, offering basic comfort trim and upholstery, and 'Lightweight' specification. Only 55 in total were transformed to full RSR racing guise, and they went on to dominate the 1973 European GT Championship with outright wins at the Daytona 24-hours and Targa Florio. Hence, the 911 RS legend was born and since then, its unique profile and ducktail, have become iconic in the world of classic cars.

Offered here is a left-hand drive, 2.7RS that the vendor informs us was first delivered to Italy in rare Emerald Green, the colour it wears today, and is in ‘lightweight’ configuration. The vendor also informs us the engine is original to the car but the gearbox is not. Included with this rare car is a Porsche Kardex and Certificate of Authenticity. A full restoration was carried out in Germany by Bale Motorsport and the Porsche was subsequently purchased by our vendor in 2013 and has resided in Dubai ever since. Further history about the ownership and specification of this special car is in the accompanying history file. The Carrera RS Lightweight is widely regarded as the finest road car produced by Porsche and considered by many to be one of the greatest of all post-war road cars. This well-restored RS in 'Lightweight form is sure to be equally enjoyable.

1992 Ferrari 512TR 1992 Ferrari 512TR

1992 Ferrari 512TR

Lot #149 (Sale Order 50 of 68)

Just 8,700 km and delivered new to Switzerland.

•    48-valve, 4.9-litre, flat-12 engine developing 428bhp mated to a five-speed manual gearbox•    A left-hand-drive example delivered new to Switzerland•    Finished in the classic colour combination of Rosso Corsa with Nero hide•    Showing just 8,700 km and supplied with its manuals and toolsFerrari unveiled the new Testarossa (F110) at the 1984 Paris Motor Show, marking the end of production of the legendary Boxer that had been the flagship 12-cylinder Ferrari model for the previous ten years. Styled by Pininfarina, the Testarossa (Red Head) paid homage to the great 1950's sports racers that originally bore that name, referring to their bright red rocker box covers. The mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive configuration allowed the centre of gravity to be positioned in the middle of the car resulting in the weight distribution being 40/60 front and rear, almost an ideal balance in terms of road holding and steering response. The Testarossa was larger than its Boxer predecessor, some 6 inches wider and 2.5 inches longer at 2550mm, allowing for more legroom and combined with the raised roof height in the cabin made progress a little more comfortable, provided you could see the corners of the car, which you couldn't. Production of the 512TR commenced in 1991 with deliveries to customers in 1992 and was effectively a re-engineered Testarossa, although Ferrari was keen that it was regarded as a new model. As well as the slightly less dramatic styling and a few tweaks to the detailing the main changes were chassis and engine related. The power of the 4.9 Litre, 48-valve, flat 12 was increased to 428 bhp from 380 with a similar improvement in torque, and with the benefit of a 30kg weight reduction on the earlier model, 0-60 times fell from 5.3 to 4.9 seconds.

This particular, left-hand drive Ferrari 512TR was delivered new to Switzerland in 1992 and is finished in Rosso Corsa with a Nero leather interior. Our vendor states that the car is completely original even down to its factory first paint and is supplied with its manuals and tools. Having covered just 8,700 km from new, this low mileage example is a great opportunity for any Prancing Horse enthusiast.

1968 Mercedes-Benz 280SL 'Mechatronik'

Lot #150 (Sale Order 51 of 68)

A re-engineered classic, created for the modern driver.

  • Starting life as a beautiful 280SL Pagoda, now re-engineered by Mechatronic for a more modern driving experience

  • Presenting very nicely with white paintwork, black leather interior and all the chrome refinished in gloss black

  • Timeless good looks blended with modern Mercedes-Benz mechanicals

  • Lightly used since the conversion and indicating just 700km at the time of cataloguing

The ultimate Mercedes-Benz 280SL 'Resto-mod', equipped with a 4.3-litre, 340bhp AMG powerplant and modern amenities like ABS, air conditioning and many other refinements in braking, suspension and steering that make this car the ultimate everyday classic. Much like Singer do with the Porsche 911, Mechatronik combines the original's timeless looks with modern dynamics, reimagining and re-engineering the SL from the ground up.

The odometer indicated just 700km at the time of cataloguing suggesting that this re-engineered masterpiece by Mechatronic has just been run in. It's superbly finished in gleaming white paintwork with a smart black leather interior and, unusually, the chrome work has been refinished in gloss black chrome (at great expense) as a hint to unsuspecting onlookers that this is not any ordinary ‘Pagoda’.

2009 Lamborghini Murciélago SV LP670-4 Coupé 2009 Lamborghini Murciélago SV LP670-4 Coupé

2009 Lamborghini Murciélago SV LP670-4 Coupé

Lot #152 (Sale Order 53 of 68)

During the Geneva Motor Show In 2009, the SuperVeloce LV 670-4 was unveiled. Having the SV previously appear on marques like the Diablo and Miura, a lot was expected of this. They are a little more extreme and race ready than the production cars, and produced in much fewer numbers.

The Murcielago SV has a 6.5L V12 generating 661BHP, at 8000rpm and improved torque all due to the revised valve timing, and upgraded intake system. Lamborghini also reduced the weight by 100KG, by using copious amounts of Carbon Fibre. A lighter exhaust system contributes also, to the weight saving.

The result was a much better power to weight ratio. With much more performance, Lamborghini improved the Braking system too, with 15-inch carbon-ceramic discs and 6 piston callipers. The press quoted the SV having the ability to do 0-60 in 3 seconds, with a top speed of 209 mph. Costing £270,000 new, and having only produced 186 they have become increasingly more desirable.

This 2009 SV was delivered new to the Middle East we are informed, it is left-hand drive and shows  16,244 KM on the odometer.

2015 Ferrari LaFerrari 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari

2015 Ferrari LaFerrari

Lot #153 (Sale Order 54 of 68)

•    6,262cc, DOHC V12 Hybrid Engine. 963hp at 9,000rpm•    Luca di Montezemolo,’ "We chose to call this model LaFerrari because it is the finest expression of our company's unique, unparalleled engineering and design know-how, including that acquired in F1”•    0-62mph (100kph) in less than 3 seconds. 0-124mph (200kph) in less than 7 seconds. 0-186mph (300kph) in less than 15 seconds•    Showing 2,200 kms and presented in white with a red interior •    An extremely rare and amazing opportunity

As with all of Ferrari’s top-shelf sports cars, LaFerrari was born out of the company’s relentless pursuit of perfection through performance. While the car was in development, it became apparent that consumers were not only interested in world-beating performance and cutting-edge technology, but also making a concerted effort to reduce their carbon footprint. While mainstream manufacturers had been using electric hybrid power to reduce emissions for years, few had realized the potential to not only make a more efficient car, but also increase performance to levels never before possible. While both McLaren’s P1 and the Porsche 918 can be driven on electric power alone, the electric motor in the LaFerrari functions solely to support the V-12. Working similarly to the Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) in Formula 1 cars, the LaFerrari harnesses the kinetic energy produced during braking and reuses it when additional power is required from the combustion engine in the form of a brief power boost. Total output is rated at 950 bhp, with 789 bhp produced by the 6.3-liter V-12 and an additional 161 bhp delivered by the electric motor. Its power combination driving through an seven speed dual clutch transmission, provided lightning quick acceleration, with the following remarkable set of figures:

0-62mph (100kph) in less than 3 seconds0-124mph (200kph) in less than 7 seconds0-186mph (300kph) in less than 15 seconds

This, left-hand drive example, is showing 2,200 kms and is presented in white with a red interior.

2009 (Circa) Mercedes-Benz SLR Brabus Roadster

Lot #158 (Sale Order 59 of 68)

Manufactured between 2003 and 2010, their new supercar allowed Mercedes-Benz and its then Formula 1 partner, McLaren, to showcase their collective experience in the development, construction and production of high-performance sports cars and, just like its legendary 300 SLR predecessor of 1955, it incorporated technological developments that were ahead of their time.

This, left-hand drive has been enhanced by Brabus and is presented in striking blue.

1963 Corvette Stingray 1963 Corvette Stingray

1963 Corvette Stingray

Lot #161 (Sale Order 61 of 68)

Now in its sixth generation, the Corvette began life in 1953 with the C1 - a model that inspired a generation of young Americans and gave the Ford Empire a nine-year headache. However it was the C2, the immortal Sting Ray produced between 1963 and 1967, that really set Chevrolet's cash registers ringing and left us with the most desired and collectible Corvette to date. Designed by Larry Shinoda under the guidance of the legendary Bill Mitchell, influences on the Sting Ray's unique and unforgettable form are said to include: the E-type Jaguar, a Mako shark once caught by Mitchell, the 'Q Corvette' concept car of 1957 and the 'Mitchell Sting Ray' design exercise. By the autumn of 1959 elements of the two unique Corvettes had been built into XP-720 - the design programme that led to the production of the Sting Ray as we know it. The aims for the new car included: improved passenger accommodation, more luggage space and superior ride and handling and with this in mind a new ladder chassis was created for the car by Zora Arkus-Duntov, the most important element of which was the move away from a live axle to independent rear suspension, courtesy of lateral struts, radius rods and transverse leaf spring. The independent front suspension was much as before, as were the recirculating ball steering and there were a number of drive train options available including four small block V8 engines, three transmissions, and six axle ratios. One major innovation was that the C2 was available in both Convertible and Fastback Coupé form. The latter initially featured a dramatic split rear window, but rear vision was poor so this was discontinued a year into production.

This particular 63' split screen Corvette Stingray looks to be an honest example of the iconic american muscle car.

1974 (Circa) Toyota FJ 40

Lot #165 (Sale Order 65 of 68)

The FJ40 was in production from 1960 to 1984, and all the way up to 2001 in Brazil. It was Toyota’s best-selling model in the United States between 1961 and 1965, an easy accomplishment seeing as it was the only new Toyota sold in the U.S. during those years. The F in FJ refers to the Type F engine and the J stands for Jeep, meaning the more generic WWII-borne use of that term and not the brand Jeep currently owned by Fiat Chrysler. The 40 refers to the displacement of the inline-six engine and the Land Cruiser name was conceived in 1954 by Toyota technical director Hanji Umehara who said: “I had to come up with a name for our car that would not sound less dignified than those of our competitors. That is why I decided to call it Land Cruiser,” in The Story of Land Cruiser from a 1985 Toyko 4x4 Magazine.

‘’Some people rove the land, some people cruise it, no wrong way to go as far as I’m concerned’’.

This example is a 1984 FJ40, presenting in LHD. It appears to be in good condition and is presented in Red over Brown cloth interior.
