Batcycle Lot #S1047-1 (Sale Order 15 of 107) S1047-1 Batcycle Bang! Pow! Wham!
Whether original or recreations, it is rare that a Batcycle is presented on the market.
Valuing these bikes are very difficult, due the limited number that exist, but they have brought up to 50k and over at auction.
If you’re a Batman fan, here’s your opportunity to purchase a rarity for your collection or just to show off.
This build is on a 1972 Yamaha 250.
Many believe that the original Batcycle was built on a Yamaha chassis, but the fist Batcycle ever used on the show was a 1965 Harley Davidson with a side car, but is was only used for one episode. Later that year a new Batcycle was introduced on a Yamaha Catalina 250.

Honda Mini Trail Lot #S1027 (Sale Order 49 of 107) S1027 – Honda Mini Trail
This Honda has been restored to mint condition.
The Honda Mini Trail was introduced in 1968, and was immediately accepted as a bike very easy to ride, even for kids.
The first Z50 model, the Z50M, was sold in Canada and Europe (and later, Japan) but not the United States. Finished in Shasta White with a Magna Red headlamp housing, forks and frame, the bike lacked front or rear suspension, instead relying on tire pressure alone to cushion the rider. Power came from a 49cc, air-cooled, four-stroke single, rated at a new-rider-friendly 4.5 horsepower. An automatic clutch simplified shifting of the bike’s three-speed transmission.
The “monkey bike” name came about from the way one looked riding the bike, and by the time the Z50A made it south to the United States, Honda had added springs to the front forks. Later, in 1972, the Z50AK3 model received and all-new frame, complete with front and rear suspension like its larger and more powerful off-road motorcycles.
From launch, the Z50 had been equipped with a headlamp, taillamp, brake light, horn and mirror, making it street-legal in nearly all global markets.

This beautiful 1948 Bentley with custom body by HJ Mulliner has the original fitted luggage, tolls and handbook.

Very seldom does an original Bentley enter the market. The interior of this car is all original and the exterior paint 95% original and still in very beautiful condition. Depending on condition these rare Bentleys are bringing anywhere from $50,000.00 to over $200,000.00.
The Mark VI was built from 1946 to 1952 and was the first production car that began production after WWII. There were only 5206 produced in six years.
These vehicles usually hit the market either needing a full complete restoration or completely restored. Here’s an opportunity to purchase an original survivor that can be driven immediately, partially restored to a higher standard or to the highest standard. Regardless, the chances of finding one of these Mark VI’s with original and solid bones and DNA is quite rare.

1967 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Lot #S1041 (Sale Order 59 of 107) We are excited to offer this 1967 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow in our February 8, 2020 auction at Southfork, not only because it is a Rolls Royce, but this particular car has a history with Southfork and the show “Dallas” that was filmed at Southfork Ranch.
This Silver Shadow was originally purchased for Joan Hitchcock a San Francisco socialite as a gift from her husband and not much more than a year later Jake Hamon (A Dallas Oil Barron) purchased it for his wife, Nancy Hamon’s birthday. Nancy, who is known as the Oil Empress of Dallas Jake was a Texas wildcatter and it is said that his background influenced the character Jock Ewing played by Jim Davis in the show “Dallas” which aired from 1978 to 1991. Jake drilled his first oil well in 1920 and after partnering with another oilman, they opened their offices in Dallas, Texas in 1932. Unfortunately, Jake died in 1985, but Nancy, his wife, kept this car until the day she died in 2011.
Jake’s estate was worth over $200 million dollars and upon his death Nancy Hamon said “when I die, I want to die broke and bounce my last check”, and she accomplished this by giving over $70 million to charity and spending the rest.
Mr. & Mrs. Hamon were very good friends with Larry Hagman, who played J.R. on the famed show “Dallas”. There have been various references that some episodes were loosely based on the lives of the Harmons. Hagman was seen around Dallas over the years driving this Rolls Royce and even to Southfork on the set. While in Dallas, Hagman stayed with the Hamons on many occasions.
Original Black Interior
Porcelain White Exterior
Chrome is excellent
Dash & Instrument Panel are excellent
Carpet excellent
Some normal wear on the original seats, but no rips or tears
V-8 with automatic 3-Speed
Brakes good, steering tight, new tires and everything works
This Rolls not only has a significant historical value, but it is a very nice driver that can be used daily.
This Silver Shadow rides and drives like a dream
Silver Shadow Facts
In the 1960’s Rolls Royce was the epitome of style and to own a Rolls was a status of success. The Rolls Royce Silver Shadow was popular from Europe to the deserts of Texas amongst Oilmen and from New York to L.A.
The Silver Shadow was produced from 1965 to 1976 and it gave way to the Silver Shadow II from 1977 to 1980. To date it is still the largest production run of and Rolls Royce.
The Silver Shadow superseded the Silver Cloud and was a bit smaller to accommodate the smaller U.K. roads, yet it offered drivers more modern updates such as disc brakes as opposed to drums, independent rear suspension as opposed to live axle and the powerplant was coupled to a General Motors Turbo Hydramatic 400 automatic gearbox, except on pre-70 right hand drive models.
The Silver Shadow was designed by Rolls Royce’s Chief Styling Engineer, John Polwhele Blatchley, who was responsible for many Rolls and Bentley designs.
Don’t miss this piece of Historic Dallas History!

1917 Maxwell 25 Lot #S1051 (Sale Order 68 of 107) 1917 Maxwell 25
MANY MORE IMAGES & VIDEO COMING SOON
It’s a rare event when certain classic and vintage vehicles present themselves on the market, especially when they’re very brand is engrained in the history of this country and true Americana.
Duncan’s Auctions is proud to present this 1917 Maxwell 25 Touring Sedan. It is being offered by a passionate owner who not only has preserved this Maxwell, but also purchased it for the long term. Due to extenuating circumstances, she has decided to part with one of the most valuable of her possessions. The Maxwell was one of the first vehicles that pushed cars to what then was called “closed-in” automobiles with a roof. The car this family calls and has dubbed “Maxwell”, and justifiably so, will be offered on February 8, 2020 at The Dallas Classic at Southfork in Parker Texas.
Rick Duncan, President of Duncan’s Auctions said, “I have probably looked at thousands of classic cars over the decades, whether buying, selling or brokering and it is common to come across passionate owners, but it is a rare moment, when that passionate seller has a vehicle of such rarity. It is very rare when a Maxwell. hits the market. I haven’t seen one in America for several years.”
This type of American automotive history should probably be in a museum, but the seller is adamant that a new individual be able to enjoy its historical past.
Maxwell History
Jonathon Maxwell started out as a bicycle repairman, became a machinist and worked in the railroad industry before developing his strong passion for the automobile industry and as the 1800’s rolled into the 1900’s he passion grew. Before the year 1900, he worked with Elwood Haynes building an automobile, which is now in the Smithsonian Institution. Later he worked with Eli Olds who founded Oldsmobile.
The first automobile to bear Maxwell’s name was in 1904, the Maxwell Runabout. With a two-cylinder engine, the car sold for about $500. It was produced by the Maxwell-Briscoe Company which Jonathan Maxwell formed in 1903 with Benjamin Briscoe. As their company grew, it merged with another to become the United States Motor Company.
Maxwell and Briscoe parted company in 1912, but Jonathan Maxwell continued to produce cars under the banner of his own Maxwell Motor Company. At various times, he built cars in Tarrytown (NY), Pawtucket (RI), New Castle (IN), Detroit (MI), and Canada.
Maxwell automobiles were considered to be among the best racing machines of the era and won trophies to back up that reputation. In 1916, a Maxwell touring car set a coast-to-coast record, speeding from New Jersey to California in just ten days and sixteen hours. Another Maxwell challenged the Pennsylvania Railroad’s vaunted “Congressional Limited,” racing the train over the forty miles from Washington to Baltimore and arriving just four minutes behind.
Jack Benny made comments about his old Maxwell, which was a staple of his comedy routines. He and his sidekick, Rochester, worked his Maxwell into their act starting in the thirties and kept it there for another five decades.
Walter P. Chrysler became involved with Maxwell in 1921 and later became the owner and subsequently phasing it out the Maxwell name in 1925.
As with many vintage cars, the names are gone forever, but the brand and historical legend of these turn-of-the-century new motor cars still live through their past and new owners, at least the ones that exist.
Names such as Packard, Moon, Panhard, LaSalle, Stutz, Durant, Marmon and of course Maxwell are not readily available in the classic car marketplace. Here’s your chance to own a piece of not only vintage automotive history, but that of automotive artwork.
This Maxwell is an older restoration that has maintained the integrity of the originality and can be enjoyed immediately.

Only 1500 produced from 1978 to 1988
This actual Zimmer was featured on Richard Rawling’s Fast N’ Loud in 2019’s episode Thunderstruck when an old friend talked Richard into working on it at the Gas Monkey Garage. First aired on September 16, 2019.
Exceptionally low 9750 Original Miles
Very nice rare car

Zimmer Motorcars Corporation was established in 1978.
The idea for the Zimmer was initially drawn on a napkin at a private dinner between Paul Zimmer and his son Bob Zimmer. Paul Zimmer drew what would become the Golden Spirit on a napkin, handed it to his son and told him that not only were they going to build a neo-classic automobile, but that his son would be responsible for all operations of the Zimmer Motorcars Corporation. Bob Zimmer eventually became the company’s President.
The Zimmer Golden Spirit was the flagship of the Zimmer Motorcars Corporation with a little more than 1,500 produced during its 10 years of production run from 1978 to 1988. The original Golden Spirit used a Ford Mustang chassis and drivetrain. It was built in Pompono Beach, Florida.

1971 Chevelle SS Lot #S1055 (Sale Order 72 of 107) S1055 – 1971 Chevelle SS 454 Convertible
This Second Generation Chevelle has a true LS5 454, 365 HP
Chevelles are one of the hottest muscle cars currently on the market. Then add a real LS5 and include the word convertible and you have a very rare Chevelle.
This Chevelle has only 400 miles since a complete nut and bolt restoration by renowned A&R Classic Restorations in Emory, Texas.
There is no need to describe individual conditions, whether it be chrome, interior, etc…, because this SS is showroom condition from its undercarriage to the exterior and engine compartment due to its fresh and professional restoration.
An opportunity such as this is rare when a Chevelle hits the market, in this condition, with an LS5 454, but you do not see Chevelle SS LS5 454 Convertibles everyday, especially in mint condition. This is your chance to buy the Chevelle of your dreams at The Dallas Classic at Southfork on February 8, 2020.
In the early 70’s the LS5 454 was one of the most popular engines in the muscle car world. The 454 became a Chevy icon, just as the 440 with Mopar enthusiasts.
One interesting fact is that both 350 V8 engines, as well as the dual exhaust 402 cid V8 engine in the 71 Chevelles, were available without the SS option; only the LS5 454 V8 required the SS option.
GM mandated all divisions design their engines to run on lower-octane regular, low-lead or unleaded gasoline. To permit usage of the lower-octane fuels, all engines featured low compression ratios (9:1 and lower; well below the 10.25-11.25:1 range on high-performance engines of 1970 and earlier). This move reduced horsepower ratings on the big-block engines to 300 for the 402 cubic-inch V8 but the LS5 454 option got an “advertised” five-horsepower increase to 365.
