Dear Polk Auction Customers,
After much contemplation we have made the decision to forge ahead with our upcoming auction as scheduled. BUT due to the current COVID-19 situation there will be MANY deviations to what has been a long-standing tradition of our Annual Spring Collector Auction. In effort to comply with the governmental guidelines regarding social distancing & mass gathering, we are making necessary adjustments for the health of our customers & community.
SO HERE’S THE PLAN!
WEDNESDAY APRIL 1st THROUGH SATURDAY APRIL 4th we will be having a LIVE, VIRTUAL AUCTION w/ ONLINE BIDDING for Equipment & Tractors! This means we will be conducting and filming the auction with LIVE AUCTIONEERS ONSITE with LIVE video feed for bidders to view with ALL bidding available ONLINE in REAL TIME. There will be ONE RING starting @ 8:30am EST each day with items selling as follows:
• WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1, 2020 – FARM EQUIPMENT, LAWN & GARDEN, TRAILERS, SKIDSTEER ATTACHMENTS & COLLECTIBLES ** PLEASE NOTE: THIS DAY HAS BEEN ADDED TO WHAT WAS OUR ORIGINAL AUCTION SCHEDULE. WE ARE STARTING THE AUCTION A DAY EARLIER THAN NORMAL!!
• THURSDAY, APRIL 2, 2020 – 200 + NON-RUNNING TRACTORS
• FRIDAY, APRIL 3, 2020 – 200 + RUNNING TRACTORS
• SATURDAY, APRIL 4, 2020 – 200 + RUNNING TRACTORS
To enhance the option of bidding online in the comfort of your own home, we are cutting bidding fees to 5% instead of our usual 10% & waiving all credit card processing fees!
In addition to LIVE VIRTUAL AUCTION, we are also offering ONLINE ONLY TIMED AUCTION for TOYS, SIGNS, LITERATURE, COLLECTIBLES & MEMORABILIA & TRACTOR PARTS!
YOU MAY START PRE-BIDDING OR PLACE MAX-BID ONLINE as soon as the catalogs are posted this week with the bidding schedule wrapping up as follows:
• TUESDAY, APRIL 7, 2020 – 500+ Toys, LITERATURE & COLLECTIBLES
• WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8, 2020 – 500+ SIGNS, PEDAL TRACTORS, COLLECTIBLES & OVERFLOW OF TOYS & LITERATURE
• THURSDAY, APRIL 9, 2020 – 300+ PALLETS OF LARGER PARTS, WIDE FRONTS, WHEELS, FENDERS, WEIGHTS & MUCH MORE!
• FRIDAY, APRIL 10, 2020 – 300+ SMALLER PARTS
