Texas shipped, beautifully engraved Colt SAA Revolver, SN 131267. This is a 6-shot, .38 Colt with New York style engraving, silver plated with carved steer-head pearl grips. The numbers match on the frame, trigger guard and back strap. The engraving is very high quality and the silver plating is nearly all remaining. The carved grips fit very well and have minor chips on the corners. This revolver will be accompanied by a Colt Archive Letter showing the original revolver as a .38 Colt, 4 3/4" barrel, blue finish, shipped to J.C. Petmecky in Austin, Texas on September 30, 1890. The action functions properly and the bore is very good. All markings are clear and sharp. KING COLLECTION.

The rear sight is a flip up, ladder sight and the front is a standard blade sight. The barrel markings are clear and sharp. The barrel and magazine tube have a pleasing amount of original blue remaining. The blue on the frame has flaked off leaving strong traces on both sides with more around the protected areas of the saddle ring. The walnut wood stocks are in excellent condition with only minor abrasions and excellent wood to metal fit. The action is flawless and the bore is excellent. KING COLLECTION. (MOD)

Winchester, Model 1866, Yellowboy Saddle Ring Carbine, SN 154006, manufactured in 1880. This SRC is a standard 20" barrel chambered for .44 RIMFIRE caliber. It has the typical weak barrel address that is mostly readable. The rear sight is the early style flip sight and the front is a blade integral to the front barrel band. The bore is dark with roughness. The action functions properly. The wood stocks are very good condition with good wood to metal fit and customary bumps and dings. The butt plate is standard brass with a door for a cleaning rod although none is present. The brass frame has an extra screw or stud in the right side plate and the overall frame is once again aging and darkening from an old cleaning. SRC will be accompanied with a factory letter. Engraved pair of Colt SAA Revolvers, SN 256148 & 147360 attributed to singer and actor Pedro Infante and accompanied by his Holster Rig. From the Internet: Pedro Infante Cruz (18 November 1917-15 April 1957) was a Mexican actor and singer. Hailed as one of the greatest actors of the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema, he is considered an Idol in Mexico and other Latin American countries such as Venezuela, Guatemala and Peru. He, along with Jorge Negrete and Javier Solis are considered the best ranchera singers. The accompanying Letter of Provenance signed by Jacqueline Speakes of El Paso, TX., lists these two SAA's by serial number as being part of a four gun collection once owned by Mexican cowboy movie actor and singer Pedro Infante, that her husband John Speakes, a legal attachÃ© of the American Embassy in Mexico City, purchased in the late 1950s. The engraved Colt SAA Revolvers are engraved to match with silver or plated Rampant Colt logo grips. SN 256148 matches on the frame, trigger guard and back strap and is a 5 1/2" barrel, .44/40 caliber with factory replacement barrel and cylinder, originally manufactured in 1904. The action functions properly and the bore is very good. SN 147360 matches on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap and is a 5 1/2" barrel, .38 SPL caliber with factory replacement barrel and cylinder, originally manufactured in 1892. The action functions properly and the bore is very good. All markings are clear and sharp. The matching engraving is about 75% period style coverage, including screws and ejector heads. Accompanying this pair of Colts is Pedro's S.D. Myers style, double Holster Rig and two vintage Photo Postcards of him during his singing and acting career. The holsters are unmarked but are Myers style jockstrap design and floral carved to match the tooling on the belt. From the Internet: Guy Madison (born Robert Ozell Moseley; January 19, 1922 â€“ February 6, 1996) was an American ï¬?lm, television, and radio actor. He is best known for playing Wild Bill Hickok in the Western television series "The Adventures of Wild Bill Hickok" from 1951 to 1958. During his career, Madison was given a special Golden Globe Award in 1954 and two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960. SN 252475 a .45 caliber, 5 1/2â€? barrel, 6-shot revolver with jigged bone grips. The numbers match on the frame, trigger guard and back strap. The barrel and cylinder are replacements. The action and bore are in good condition. The gun was restored many years ago. SN 112417 is an antique .45 cal, 4 3/4â€? barrel with jigged bone grips. The action needs work and bore is in fair condition. The serial numbers are faint on the frame and missing on the back strap. The gun was restored many years ago. Replaced parts and restored guns are very common on Hollywood used guns. The double Holster Rig is fantastic! It is made by Old West Saddlery Company and has Guy Madisonâ€™s name embossed on the back. The belt and holsters are fully lined and have super high quality ï¬‚oral carving on the front. The holster skirts and face of the belt are decorated with various gold and brass spots in the shape of rosettes, diamonds and ï¬‚oral circles. The buckles on the holsters and belt are nicely tooled. The carved snake and eagle motif ivory grips fit extremely well and have a beautiful aged color and checking with no damage. Cased, inscribed Colt, Model 1851, Navy Revolver, SN 100074, scarce with iron grip straps. This Fourth Model 1851 was manufactured in 1861. The back strap is inscribed with floral engraving around "Lt. J.M. Kessel / 43 P.R.", although no research has been done at this time. The serial number matches on the barrel, frame, trigger guard and back strap with the last four digits on the cylinder. There is a nice amount of original blue remaining on the trigger guard, back strap and cylinder. There is strong to faded case colors on both sides of the frame. The markings are all clear and sharp including the cylinder scene. The action functions properly and the bore is dark. Under the loading lever on the bottom of the barrel is stamped with three sets of crossed keys. The significance of this mark is unknown at this time. The accompanying period case is in very nice condition and includes a powder flask, brass mold, nipple wrench, cap tin, key, a few round balls and a pack of paper cartridges. Also included is one half of a period gutta percha oval case with the image of a man, perhaps Mr. Kessel. KING COLLECTION.

Extraordinarily rare, Cased Sharps, Model 1851, Sporting Carbine, SN 1747. This is a presentation Sharps, Model 1851 Sporting Carbine, .44 caliber made without sling bar and has a 21 1/2" round barrel with small globe front sight, squirrel ear rear sight and a sporting tang sight with windage adjustable aperture. American walnut forend stock with brass barrel band and straight grip butt stock with brass patch box and butt plate. Wood is high gloss varnish which appears to be original and in excellent condition. Barrel has most of its original brown with faded color case hardened receiver and blued lock plate. Accompanied by its original factory walnut casing, brass reinforced corners, swinging latches on the front and a mortised brass lock. Interior is green felt lined and compartmented in the bottom, French fitted for the rifle , a Sharps bullet mold in a covered compartment and an ebony handled turn screw in another covered compartment. Both covers have ivory pulls. Open compartments contain a key , a full tin of Maynard tape primers, still in their original paper wrapping, a full sealed tin of Eley percussion caps marked " No.1", a patch cutter, a small nickeled brass oiler and a German silver capping tool with screw lid marked "FOX". A long thin compartment in the front contains a brass tipped one piece hickory cleaning rod. A German silver plate inlaid in the lid is engraved in period script "Pierre Chouteau, Jr. / St. Louis, 1853". According to the book "Sharps Firearms Sellers", only 1,837 Model 1851 carbines were produced in the period 1852-1855 and of that total, only 79 in .44 caliber had varnished stocks. Pierre Chouteau, Jr. was born in 1789, the second son of Pierre Chouteau and the grandson of Pierre LaClede Liquest, who was one of the founding fathers of the city of St. Louis. About 1810 Pierre, Jr. entered the fur trade business under the name of Berthel & Chouteau. In the early 1830s he formed Pierre Chouteau, Jr. & Company when he bought out Sublet & Campbell. He was subsequently hired by John Jacob Astor as the St. Louis manager of the Western Dept. of the American Fur Trading Company. In 1934 Pierre took over the business and the next year reorganized it under the Pierre Chouteau, Jr, & Company banner. In 1859 Pierre became blind but continued to run the business with his son, Charles, until the business closed in 1864. The entire Chouteau family was active in the fur trading business and in one form or another remained in business well into the 1860s. During the 1850s Pierre and his son Charles, although still trading furs from the Indians, shifted their primary activities to producing buffalo robes. The 1860s, with Charles in charge, saw the company also transporting gold seekers to the Idaho & Montana gold fields as well as furnishing supplies to miners & military units out west. The city of Chouteau, Montana is named for Pierre Chouteau, Jr. Historically this carbine was in the W.H. Everson Collection in the 1880s and went to a private collector in 1929, only in recent years returning to the market. A previous owner stated that there were only ten cased .44 caliber, Model 1851 Carbines ever made and reportedly only three exist today. This may be the only inscribed case. This previous owner refers to a note which was found in the case which is now missing. This is an extremely historically significant Sharps, being one of the few ever cased with even fewer known today. KING COLLECTION.

The barrel has strong, original blue on the lower ï¬‚ats and a mixture of blue and natural brown patina on the remainder. The frame has a signiï¬?cant amount of original blue on both sides and a scarce, original thumbprint dust cover. The action functions properly and the bore is very nice. The wood stocks ï¬?t properly, are in good condition with natural wear, normal bumps and dings and a small gouge in the forearm. Handsome engraved antique Colt, SAA Revolver, SN 125487, .45 caliber, ï¬?rst generation. The serial number matches on the frame, trigger guard and back strap. This is a 7 1/2â€? barrel revolver manufactured in 1888 that now has full coverage engraving by the well known, Texas Master Engraver, David Wade Harris and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from him. Mr. Harris combined cattle brand motifs with traditional scrollwork to create a beautiful Colt. It has a full nickel plated ï¬?nish and a pair of burl walnut grips with an inlaid longhorn steer head on each side, that ï¬?t very well. It doesnâ€™t appear to have been used since Mr. Harris completed his work. All of the factory applied markings are crisp and clear. The action functions correctly and the bore is very good. This Colt has the later style transverse pin latch that is unusual to ï¬?nd on an 1888 Colt.

The revolver is nickel-plated and engraved by Colt Master Engraver Steve Kamyk in 2008. The hand scrimshawed ivory grip bears the "Days of '76" on one side. On the other is the "Aces and Eights" poker hand â€” the cards Wild Bill Hickok was holding when he was gunned down in Deadwood in 1876. The serial number: DW 1876. The custom holster appears to be made by A.W. Brill of Austin, Texas and has the initials â€œW.H.K.â€? in the panel where the maker mark would normally appear. KING COLLECTION.

It has a .40 caliber, 24â€? heavy octagonal barrel with wide lands and grooves. The top of the barrel is marked from the right side â€œSharps Riï¬‚e / Manufg. Co. / Hartford, Conn.â€? It has an iron patch box in the butt stock with an iron butt plate. The butt stock wood to metal is good and the overall condition of the stock is fair. There are a couple of metal spots inlaid into the top and right side in front of the patch box. The forearm is cut down and has a crudely made silver cap. The rear sight is a ï¬?xed v-notch. Dove tailed, brass front sight and a semi-buckhorn sporting rear sight with a missing elevator. The top barrel ï¬‚at is marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A./ +PAT. JAN. 7. 73. OCT. 19. 75.APR. 1. 79. DEC. 13. 81. JAN 3. 82.+", ahead of the rear sight, "+BURGESS'S PATENTS+" is stamped on top of the lever loop. The barrel is 25 1/2â€? octagonal with full length magazine tube. The serial number is on the lower tang. The faint Rampant Colt is marked on the left side of the receiver. The walnut forearm and straight grip stock are in fair condition with good wood to metal ï¬?t, typical bumps and dings from use, with a repair on the forend and a crescent butt plate with cleaning rod compartment. The action functions properly and the bore is good. The front sight has been lowered slightly. The hard rubber, eagle grips ï¬?t well and may be original. The Holster is a fantastically marked, double loop holster that has been trimmed at the top throat and has slices through the back of the leather skirt. The skirt has been trimmed at the bottom. Cased Pair of G. & W. Pistor Percussion Target Pistols. Brothers Georg and Wilhelm Pistor were part of the Pistor family of gun makers in the 1830s to 1850s in Schmalkalden, Germany. The Damascus barrels are each signed "G. & W. PISTOR IN SCHMALKALDEN" in gold inlay and have eight-groove riï¬‚ing, dove tailed German silver blade front sights, golden loop patterns at the breech, and silver bands at the muzzle and breech. The bottom of the barrels and breech plugs have "11981/G&WP" and the lower right ï¬‚ats have rampant lion and "NR" markings. The standing breeches have adjustable notch rear sights and are gold inlaid with "1" and "2" respectively. The locks are discreetly signed "G. & W. PISTOR" at the front and have rotating hammer stalls, and the side plates have "IN SCHMALKALDEN." The pistols also have adjustable single set triggers and spurred trigger guards. In addition to the Damascus pattern barrels, the other various components have scroll engraving and detailed borders, and there is also a stand of arms design on the trigger guard. The stocks have ï¬?nely carved dogâ€™s heads at the forend tips, checkering with scroll carved accents on the wrist, ï¬‚oral carving around the edge of the pommels, and steel caps. They come in very attractive ï¬?gured hardwood case with "G . & W. Pistor / in / Schmalkalden" inside the lid and interior closely ï¬?tted to the pistols and the set of matching accessories (bullet mold absent), which include rods (tips absent), mallet, cap / ball container, powder ï¬‚ask, screwdriver, nipple wrench, powder measure, patch punch, and rear sight adjustment key. Fine condition with distinct Damascus patterns, light gray and brown patina, bright gold, some minor spots of oxidation / discoloration, and natural aged patina on the bands on the barrel; 40% original case colors on the lock and furniture, crisp markings and engraving, and generally only minor storage wear. The stock is very ï¬?ne aside from a reglued chip on the left by the side plate and has crisp checkering and carving, smooth oiled ï¬?nish, and a few minor dings. Mechanically excellent.

The 3 3/4â€?, .44 caliber, pistol barrels rest in the fullers on either side of the blade, with no visible makers marks. Dual quillion guard, with the hammers doubling as the rear quillion, concealing the nipples, controlled by a single trigger which drops the hammers in sequence. Ivory grip panels with an attractive twist pattern, ending in a coin silver butt cap. Green felt lined metal sheath, with nickel ï¬?nished throat and tip. In a green leatherette case with scroll designs on the lid and a French cut blue velvet interior, holding a pair of percussion nipples, a lidded compartment with ivory handle, silver capper marked "BOCHE / BREVETE / 4", single cavity mold with cutter and ramrod and a powder ï¬‚ask with horn body and German silver ï¬?ttings. Overall condition is very good, with some mild spotting and handling marks on the bright steel. Grips are very good, with some mild age cracks, a small patch on the right panel, and attractive color and grain, strongest on the left panel. Sheath is ï¬?ne, with minimal wear and spotting. Accessories are good, with some repairs to the ï¬‚ask, mixed wear on the mold and a ï¬?ne patina on the capper. Case is ï¬?ne, with mild external wear and some fading of the velvet. Very Nice New Haven Arms Volcanic, SN 139. Volcanic No. 1 Pocket Pistol, .31 caliber, manufactured circa 1860. The pistol has the distinctive 3 1/2" octagon barrel with integral magazine, brass receiver and lever with ï¬?nger hole. The pistol has a small post front sight and dovetail mounted rear sight on the receiver. The barrel has traces of blue ï¬?nish, the hammer and lever are smooth metal with no trace of case colors. The frame is brass with some silver plated ï¬?nish remaining. The two-piece walnut grips have a good amount of high polish 'piano' ï¬?nish. The top of the barrel is roll-stamped: "NEW HAVEN CONN. PATENT FEB. 14. 1854" in one line. The lack of Volcanic markings and the addition of "Patent" before the February 14, 1854 date indicate that the pistol was manufactured after Oliver Winchester reorganized the Volcanic Repeating Arms Company into the New Haven Arms Company in April 1857. The serial number "139" is stamped on the left side of the butt beneath the grips and on the inside of each grip. The action functions properly and the bore is excellent. KING COLLECTION.

Carver (1851-1927) who was a business partner, performer and champion Rifle Shot with W.F. Buffalo Bill Codyâ€™ Wild West. Buffalo Bill Cody and "Doc" Carver had the Grand Opening of "Wild West Hon. W.F. Cody & Doc Carvers Rocky Mountain & Prairie Exhibition" in Omaha, Nebraska, May 17, 1883. After 17 years as the "Champion Shot of the World" Carver gave one of his last public exhibitions in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1896. This outstanding Model 1894 was originally manufactured in 1912 and "PRESENTED TO W.F. DOC CARVER WORLD'S CHAMPION FROM COL. ZACK MILLER 101 RANCH W.R.A.C.O." It was special ordered as a .32-40 caliber, 20â€? barrel, deluxe carbine with 9 special features. (1) Style seven engraving by Master Engraver John A. Gough. (2) Presentation inscribed medallion inlaid into the buttstock. (3) Checkered Style I. (4) Capped pistol grip (horn). (5) Shotgun butt with checkered steel butt plate. (6) Winchester sling eyes. (7) No saddle ring. (8) Nickel steel barrel (Special order for .32-40 caliber) (9) Ivory bead front sight. While no Cody Museum Letter is available on this riï¬‚e due to its age, there is an accompanying 1984 letter from Herbert Houze, Curator of the Winchester Arms Museum, who describes this carbine as being original and correct in all aspects and that its original conï¬?guration has not been altered. It is accompanied by a 1946 dated letter signed by noted Western author and Indian Wars historian, E.A. Brininstool attesting to its history. Mr. Brininstool identifies this riï¬‚e that he purchased from Col. Miller of the 101 Ranch. Doc Carver had left the Winchester at the ranch in a leather case for several years and it had some resulting discoloration. Recognizing the importance of this riï¬‚e, Brininstool returned the gun to the Winchester factory sometime before 1942 to have it restored to its original condition. It remains in nearly like-new condition with the exception of the retained original horn grip cap, the original medallion with slight wear is marked on lower portion "W.R.A. Co." and a slight small depression in the wood buttstock. The riï¬‚e is accompanied by hundreds of documents and articles about the history, research and ownership of this ï¬?ne rifle, including an 8x10 photograph of "Doc" Carver from the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, Cody, WY. from the W.F. Cody Album. Documents of insurance paid by the museum attesting to its authenticity, it was displayed in the Buffalo Bill / Winchester Museum for more than 10 years. This SRC belonged to Jack Case who traveled all over the United States during and after the Great Depression, producing and performing in rodeo shows. He managed his own rodeo shows under the company name "Jack Case Rodeo Attractions" and a later outfit as the "Bar-20 Ranch Rodeo", whose appearances were sponsored by such organizations as the Family Welfare Agency, American Legion Posts, and regional Elk Lodges. Case was the assistant arena director of the Pendleton Round-Up in 1923 and went on to direct and perform in Buck Taylor's Wild West Show at the Million Dollar Pier in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Case also performed with his friend Miller's 101 Ranch Wild West Show, which toured all over America, and Case acted as manager of the 101 Ranch shows during their European tours in 1924 and 1926. This Winchester is a .44-40 caliber SRC with a 20" barrel. The entire exterior is gold washed or gold plated except the dust cover, saddle rig, elevator and door in the butt plate which are nickel. The barrel markings are light but readable. The rear sight is a flip up, ladder sight and the front sight is a standard blade. Stamped on the left side of the lower tang is "J. Case" which is not visible with the butt stock in place. The walnut butt stock is in good condition with gaps in the wood to metal fit. The forearm has a chip missing from either side in front of the frame. The action functions properly and the bore is dark. The lever return spring is not functioning properly. Affixed to the right side plate is a 25 cent token from the 101 Ranch store. This Winchester is accompanied by a large folder of personal photos, documents, flyers and personal correspondence from Jack Case. Jack was born Willard Luna Case, September 3, 1902 in Edneyville, North Carolina, he disliked his name and started going by Jack or J.W. Case. There is no record of his death information but it is likely he died some time in the last quarter of the 20th century. This Winchester will be accompanied by an early leather, spotted Saddle Holster with the initials "JC" in tacks with spots and diamond border, fragile condition. Scabbard is made for a short rifle. Spurs have tapered heel band, inlaid shanks with chap guards. Spurs are mounted with heavy tooled vintage 2-piece Straps with silver dollar concho, one is dated 1882 and one is dated 1887. A photocopy of a letter was found in the Jack Case estate grouping dated January 15, 1949, signed by wife Betty Case. Letter states items given to him and used by him when he worked with the 101 Ranch and Miller, one of the items given to him was a pair of Spurs. These Spurs were found in his collection. This painting is signed at lower left "E.W. Lender / 101 Ranch / (Thunderbird Emblem) '22". Actual canvas size 20" x 24", with frame measuring 26" x 30". Already well known for his pictures of sheep, horses and other domestic animals Lenders was attracted by the picturesque Indians, broncos, cowboys and wild steers in Col. W.F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody's Wild West when it was showing in the old Madison Square Garden in New York City. He and Buffalo Bill became friends and he joined the show, traveling with it and studying the western actors and animals. An invitation from Col. Joe Miller of the 101 Ranch and Cody's insistence brought the artist to Oklahoma to live and paint. He established "Thunderbird" ranch near Miller's south of Ponca City. Lenders had an elaborately carved saddle inscribed, "To E.W. Lenders, the best painter of buffalo in the world. From his admiring friend William F. Cody (Buffalo Bill)." Extremely Scarce Winchester, Model 1892, Smoothbore SRC, SN 670614, .44 WCF caliber, 20" barrel. This 1912 manufactured carbine is not only a factory smoothbore, it is also a factory half-nickel ï¬?nish SRC, with the desirable saddle ring butterfly markings! Believed to have been made for a Winchester factory sponsored trick shooter, this is a very unique and totally original carbine. The 20â€? barrel is caliber marked â€œSMOOTH BORE - .44 W.C.F." It has the correct, carbine style, rear ï¬‚ip up, ladder sight and front blade sight. The original wood buttstock has inlaid metal plates with â€œWinchesterâ€? in red letters on each side. Although it is unknown if these plates are factory installed, they appear to be original and not added at a later date. The frame retains nearly all of the original factory nickel. The butt plate has the majority of its factory nickel. The barrel has a pleasing amount of original blue mixed with a natural patina. The action functions properly and the bore is good. Accompanying the Winchester is a brass mold used for making clay target balls for use in trick shooting. It measures 8" L and is made for a 2" clay target ball. It has been with this gun for many years and has a brand that uses the letters â€œJâ€? and â€œEâ€? overlapping and connected at the vertical lines. This model is an unusual conï¬?guration of a 4 1/2â€? barrel without provision for an ejector housing. Manufactured in 1899, the serial number matches on the frame, trigger guard and back strap. Back strap is engraved "Zachary Miller-101 Ranch". The mother of pearl grips ï¬?t nicely but are not original to this revolver. The action functions properly and the bore is excellent. There is a generous amount of original blue ï¬?nish and light traces of case hardening colors. The markings are all clear and sharp. This Colt is accompanied by a 2002 signed letter from Fred McDonald attesting to this 1877 belonging to Zachary Miller of the 101 Ranch. Extremely scarce, Special Order, Model 1894 Winchester Riï¬‚e with a 26â€? octagonal barrel with a vent rib. Chambered in .30 W.C.F. or .30/30 caliber. The vent rib is most certainly factory installed due to the placement of all markings on the left side barrel ï¬‚at rather than on top. The rib has a buckhorn sight on the rear and a ramped, blade front sight with a silver bead. Another possible special order feature is the cheek piece on the shotgun style butt stock which has been expertly covered in heavy leather by the 101 Ranch saddle shop. The riï¬‚e has seen much use on the ranch as evidenced by the overall condition. The stock is stamped with â€œ101â€? on the left side wrist. The leather butt stock wrap is stamped on the left side â€œSADDLE SHOPâ€? and on the right side â€œMILLER BROTHERS / 101 RANCH PONCA CITY / OT (Oklahoma Territory) / NO 134â€?. There are factory sling swivels and a period leather shoulder strap. The wood has seen fairly heavy use with a sliver missing on the top, right side tang. There are other scratches and dents in the wood commensurate with extensive ranch use. The bottom of the frame is marked â€œODIN ALEX VAâ€? which indicates that this riï¬‚e went overseas and was stamped upon its return, possibly on one of their European trips. KING COLLECTION. (MOD)

Matching Merwin & Hulbert Army Revolvers owned and used by 101 Ranch Wild West performer Jess Willard, accompanied by his huge holster rig and a circa 1917, 8â€?x10â€? sepia tone photo of him with 4 other, mounted performers. The revolvers are early, open top revolvers in .44 Merwin & Hulbert caliber with 7 1/2â€? barrels and 6-shot cylinders. Serial number 8461 has barrel markings that are partially visible. The custom walnut grips ï¬?t well on both revolvers but are not original. The action functions properly with looseness. The bore does not appear to have any riï¬‚ing and may be an original smoothbore. The matching revolver has no markings and walnut grips to match. The action is functional and the bore also appears to be smoothbore without signs of riï¬‚ing. The revolver has a fair amount of restored nickel ï¬?nish. The accompanying double holster rig is huge and made for a very large man, measuring 54â€? overall and 7â€? wide, custom made for Willard by Bauer Bros., manufactured in St. Louis. There are 21 large caliber bullet loops and 5 pockets sewn across the back. It is decorated with two 5 point star stitchings with a brass star centered in each. The buckle is a large rectangle plate with brass and copper motifs including longhorn steer in the center. The belt had suspender style straps on it at one time due to the signiï¬?cant weight of such a rig when fully loaded. There is stitching missing on the backs of each holster on the reinforcement ï¬‚aps. From the Oklahoma Historical Society website:

An excerpt from the 101 Ranch Obituary in the Ponca City News on February 6, 1930 reads:

Manufactured in 1894, this riï¬‚e has a 24â€? octagon barrel with clear and sharp address and caliber markings. The rear sight is a standard buckhorn style with a blade front sight. There is a very high percentage of original nickel plating remaining throughout with some minor ï¬‚aking on the barrel. The wood stocks have nice ï¬?guring, ï¬?t perfectly and are original to this riï¬‚e. The bore is somewhat rough with a ring about 4â€? from the muzzle. The action functions properly. The riï¬‚e is accompanied by a copy of Winchester Gun Museum letter dated April 23, 1963, and a most recent letter dated May 3, 2010, that states: "The Winchester 1892 serial number records describe number 54117 as a riï¬‚e, caliber 44, octagon barrel, nickel, plain trigger and smoothbore. It was shipped from the factory on January 18, 1896." The "101" brand and smoothbore barrel almost certainly indicate that the riï¬‚e was used by the famous 101 Ranch and Wild West Show located at Ponca City, Oklahoma. KING COLLECTION.

The ejector rod head is missing. There is light to moderate pitting on some surfaces of the revolver and a generous amount of remaining nickel finish. The action functions properly and the bore is good with slight roughness. The grips fit perfectly and appear to be original to the revolver.

New York, Engraved Colt Revolver, Model 1877, .41 caliber, SN 61059, 4 1/2" barrel, with pearl grips and beaded, deerskin holster. Known to collectors as the Thunderer, this is a 6-shot, .41 cal revolver with a 4 1/2â€? barrel manufactured in 1887. The numbers match on the frame, trigger guard and back strap. The markings are all clear and readable except the worn etched panel which has been engraved over. It has a bent ejector head. It was likely shipped in the soft to Hartley and Graham or J.P. Mooreâ€™s in New York where it was engraved and the pearl stocks were installed. The pearl stocks have an oversized escutcheon on the left panel. The action functions properly in Double Action but doesnâ€™t hold full cock in single action. The front sight is missing and the bore is fair. The period, beaded holster is in very good condition with a large, diamond shape above a cross, with a smaller diamond below that. It appears that there are four short rows of blue beads missing. Framed Oil Ch Banner titled "I AM COMING", with image of Col. W.F. Cody in center of Buffalo. Actual banner measures 35 1/2" W x 24" T with custom gold frame measuring 29" x 40". These oil chs were printed between 1889-1926, a patented process of printing on cotton and treated with oil. These "Train Art" advertisements were used by the traveling Wild West shows and circuses instead of painting their advertisements on the train cars for easy removal. Very few of these oil ch Banners survived because of weather, scraping away or just rotting off the train cars. This advertisement will be accompanied by an unused Buffalo Bill Wild West Show Card. This card and one dollar will give you the right to stand at the arena gate after the show and he would ride by on horse back and sign your card. Card is complete with envelope.

Bill Picketâ€™s Cased Colt SAA Revolver, .45 COLT caliber, SN 85688, 7 1/2" barrel, with Holster and Belt Rig and large Bowie Knife. Accompanied by an original authentication from the world renown 101 Ranch collector, Jerry Lee Murphey where he recounts that Picket gave the revolver to another show member who pawned it when times got hard. There is an obvious error on Murpheyâ€™s part as he is one digit off on the serial number listed. The set consist of a 7 1/2â€? barrel, .45 COLT caliber, 6-shot revolver with walnut grips and traces of nickel remaining. The serial number matches on the frame, trigger guard and back strap with a partially visible matching number on the cylinder. The markings are all clear and sharp with the exception of no visible caliber markings. The Holster is a left handed, double loop with a large concho and several spots decorating the perimeter. The matching Belt has many medium sized spots, 18 bullet loops with a variety of .45 caliber cartridges with spent primers. The "101 Ranch Saddle Shop" marking is also authenticated by Mr. Murphey. The Bowie Knife is 14 1/2â€? overall with a 9 1/2â€? blade and a beautiful deer stag handle. The sheath matches the belt and holster with many spots of decoration. The Case is large, measuring 11 1/2â€? deep, 28â€? long and 2 3/4â€? in height. The green felt interior is in good condition with 2 compartments for the revolver, knife and rig, plus 3 compartments for boxes of .45 Colt cartridges. The top of the lid has an inlaid brass plate with â€œ101â€? inscribed. The case also has brass corner protectors all around. There are 3 locks but no key was found. There are 3 empty Remington dog bone style boxes included. Also included is a 101 Ranch Paper Weight with their colorful letterhead shown. From The Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame website: "Bill Picket Steer Wrestling - Inducted 1989 Bill Pickett, born in 1870, is credited with founding bulldogging or steer wrestling, as it is known today. Legend has it that Pickett resorted to biting the lip of a recalcitrant steer to wrestle it to the dirt to get it into the corral. Pickett moved from ranch work into the show arena in the 1890s, when he and his brother began the Pickett Brothers Bronco Busters and Rough Riders Show that toured fairs and rodeos. In 1907, Pickett was hired as a cowhand on the 101 Ranch in Oklahoma and participated in the Miller Brothersâ€™ 101 Ranch Wild West Show. He worked on the ranch when he was not traveling with the Miller Brothers for more than 25 years. He died April 2, 1932, after being kicked in the head while breaking a colt at the ranch. He was later honored by the U.S. Postal Service, who featured Pickett on a stamp as part of its Legends of the West series. Born December 5, 1870 in Austin, Texas. Died April 2, 1932 in Oklahoma. Attributed to Ruth Roach with her name engraved on the backstrap. From the internet: Ruth Scantlin, later Ruth Scantlin Roach, later Ruth Scantlin Roach Salmon (1896 â€“ June 26, 1986), was a professional bronc rider, and world champion rodeo performer. Her 24-year career began in 1914 and ended in 1938, when she retired from the rodeo and started a ranching business in Nocona, Texas, with her husband, Fred Salmon. She is an inductee in the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame (1989) and the Rodeo Hall of Fame in the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum formerly known as the National Cowboy Hall of Fame (1989) and traveled the world with the Buï¬€alo Bill Wild West Show and The 101 Real Wild West Show. Bronc riding was her favorite event, although she performed and won championship titles in other areas (as Ruth Roach). During her career she won the titles of World's Champion All Around Cowgirl, World's Champion Trick Rider, and World's Champion Girl Bronc Rider.

Historic Wild West Traveling Trunk, marked "PAWNEE BILL'S WILD WEST", (32" L x 19 1/4" W x 21" T). Extremely rare and one of a kind with its original contents. This Trunk and its contents originally belonged to a Mr. Toops who was a performer and band member of the Pawnee Bill's Wild West. Having no family, Mr. Toops gave this trunk and contents to his friend and neighbor, the brother of the late John Reedy which was then stored in a staircase closet for over 50 years. Mr. Toops toured with Pawnee Bill's Wild West all over the United States and in Europe with Buffalo Bill's Wild West in 1903. Before retiring he also played in the John Phillip Sousa Band. He retired from the entertainment field, then passed in 1950. This trunk contains approximately 40 items to include: A large American Flag with 46 Stars. The 46th star was for Oklahoma. Flag measures 16 ft. L x 9 ft. W. and is very fragile; Two Books titled "THE LAST OF THE GREAT SCOUTS" by Helen Cody Wetmore, and "THRILLING LIVES OF BUFFALO BILL AND PAWNEE BILL" by Frank Winch; An original "Welcome" Banner; Beaded Wild West Costumes to include Mr. Toops original Band Uniform and Trombone; A framed Panoramic of Pawnee Bill's Ranch and other photographs. As you can see the panoramic was rolled up in the trunk, we unrolled it and had it framed for its protection; Beaded Gauntlets; Knives, one in a beaded sheath; Beaded Moccasins and a pair of baby Moccasins; Mrs. Toops Wedding Dress and high top Shoes, very fragile; A small Tin Box with flint; Two round bottom Bottles. The markings are light from buï¬ƒng during a possible reï¬?nish. Manufactured in 1890, the revolver is a .41 caliber, 6-shot with a 6â€? barrel and hard rubber grips. The overall ï¬?nish is a dark brown patina. The top of the back strap is marked with an Indian Peace Sign (whirling log) and â€œ101" on the butt. The action is non-functional. The Holster is a Heiser made, double loop with â€œ101â€? carved on the top loop and colored in green. The Belt is over 41â€? long with multiple colored, geometric designs and symbols. There is some missing beads and stitching. It is accompanied by a letter of authenticity stating the estimated age of the Belt to be 1900-1920. The letter also describes the non-functional action to be by design as this would have been a prop used to dress Indians for photos. They were not allowed to have functioning guns. KING COLLECTION.

The barrel and ejector housing have a signiï¬?cant amount of original nickel remaining with traces on the remaining parts. The ivory stocks are a beautiful, mellow, aged color with s of grain and texture. The bottom of the grips have age checking consistent with the age of the revolver. The action functions properly and the bore is very good. The Belt has several large and several small, round conchos that may be nickel or silver. There are 16 large caliber bullet loops and a rounded, rectangular buckle. The left handed Holster also has several, mixed sized spots that appear to be of nickel or silver. Colt, Model 1877, Lightning Revolver, SN 165179 with unusual Pouch Holster. Manufactured in 1909 during the last year of production, this is a .38 caliber, 6-shot revolver with a 4 1/2â€? barrel. The markings are all clear and sharp. There is a very high percentage of original nickel plating remaining. The hard rubber grips ï¬?t reasonably well and may have been over tightened. The action functions properly and the bore is very good. The tooled holster pouch is stitched to the back of what appears to be a shoulder pouch with long fringe on the bottom. The front of the holster pouch has a seam that needs to be restitched, fringe is fragile. KING COLLECTION. (MOD)

Panoramic shows approximately 150-175 people, many very important and well known people. Off right from center is Joe Miller, sitting behind him to left is Jess Willard, front row center is Chief Iron Tail, far lower left is Tex Cooper. Buck Jones and Lucille Mulhall were also with the 101 in 1915 and are believed to be in this photograph. Heavy framed group of Buffalo Skinning Tools and a brain tanned beaded Jacket with fringed borders. Will be accompanied by a framed hand written document signed by Billy White Crow. "This jacket, gloves and tools belonged to my father White Crow. He was a buffalo hunter in the 1880s and hunted with Teddy Roosevelt on one occasion. In 1901 he came to the 101 Ranch and took charge of the ranch buffalo herd. He supplied meat for the ranch when needed. I was born on the ranch in 1903 and took over my fathers job in 1925. The serial number matches on the frame, trigger guard and back strap with no number visible on the cylinder. The action is loose and may need timing. The hammer appears to be a replacement. The bore is better than expected with strong rifling. The barrel address, patent dates and caliber markings are worn and difficult to read. The frame has had metal removed near the cylinder pin retaining screw. The walnut grips fit well and are slightly undersized for the straps.

The 2-line barrel address is clear and readable as are the 2-line, 3-patent dates on the frame. The .38 WCF caliber markings on the side of the barrel is worn but readable. There is light to moderate pitting on some surfaces of the revolver and no remaining finish. The action functions properly and the bore is good with slight roughness. The grips fit properly and appear to be original to the revolver.
