Catalina Cyclone Lot #004 (Sale Order 4 of 100) The Catalina Cyclone is a high performance recreational boat with racing genes. It is 13 foot long with a shallow cockpit with rolled sides for easy sitting and hiking. The boat easy accommodates two, possibly 3 or 4 on a light wind day. The key to the boats performance is its tall flexible mast and big mainsail. If you have been sailing Sunfish or Lasers and now want to sail more easily with a friend, the Cyclone is for you. It is also easily single-handed with blazing speed off the wind and a real joy to sail.
This particular boat is in good condition with a small fiberglass repair at the bow. The sail is still crisp and the fiberglass daggerboard and rudder are in very good shape. This is a great boat for any of New Hampshire lakes and it is wicked fun. Specifications: Length: 13 Feet, Beam:4 Feet 9 Inches, Weight: 145 lbs, Sail area: 74 sq. ft. |

Chrysler Mutineer Lot #027 (Sale Order 27 of 100) Snappy, fun 15 foot cockpit sailboat in good condition. Designed to sail single-handed including a single-handed spinnaker. Sail alone or take three additional people with you! Includes all working parts; 2 main sails - one new, 2 jibs (one new), 1 spinnaker sail and pole, 2 boat covers. Fixed lines in good shape, needs new running lines. Owners manuals and information about spinnaker fittings.
The Mutineer is a 15 foot sloop that was introduced in 1971 by Chrysler Marines Sailboat division. It was developed by boat designers Rod MacAlpine-Downie and Dick Gibbs. The Mutineer was initially intended to be marketed as a beginner's day sailer and trainer. However with extensive features such as the roller-furling jib, spinnaker, foredeck launcher tube, hiking straps, hiking stick, and more this was no beginner's boat. If anything, it was a racer trainer. All of these features were considered innovative, and leading edge in those days, so the fact that the basic design was never changed, and that many of the innovations are found on most of today's racing boats says a lot about the designers. The Mutineer turned out to be an all-round fun daysailer for families, couples or individuals. Her wide beam and spacious 7 foot cockpit make it easy for her to carry a large crew, yet sail on her proper lines. The Mutineer's large sail plan feels every wisp of breeze. If you are looking for a boat that you can get into very reasonably, the Mutineer is the boat for you. https://www.windrider.com/collections/mutineer-15?page=1 https://sailboatdata.com/sailboat/mutineer-15 http://www.mutineer15.org/Manual.html |

1963 Penn Yan Swift Lot #033 (Sale Order 33 of 100) Gorgeous 1963 Penn Yan 13 foot Swift runabout with Mercury 25 hp 4-stroke motor and trailer. This is one of the best-looking and well-appointed Swifts around and will definitely turn heads at the launching ramp. Plus it’s a blast to drive.
Penn Yan is an old boat company started in the 20s by a man who used to build airplanes, bi-planes specifically. Over the decades the Penn Yan tried many boat building techniques including plywood, canvas covered wood strips, plastic covered canvas wood strips and even traditional lapstrake. The Swift line was a high-performance group of boats especially built for racing in the nascent APBA stock outboard runabout classes. For a few years they were virtually untouchable on the race course. Through the 50s and into the 60s the Swifts were made more user friendly with additional freeboard, better seats, forward steering, and windshields. Penn Yan called them “the sportscars of the waterways. . This 1963 Swift shares a rich history with some of the most interesting and well-built boats of its day. BOAT Information is as follows. 1956 Feather Craft Lot #040 (Sale Order 40 of 100) This Feather Craft Custom Runabout combines the best of the classic with the best of the modern era. The Boat is a 1956 classic Feather Craft 14' aluminum utility, very clean, with highly polished parts.
The Interior is set up with a professionally created and installed wooden center deck, fore and aft seats, floorboards, and backrests. Teleflex single cable steering and a beautiful wood steering wheel are installed. The aft section of the runabout features two built-in storage areas and space for the gas tank and battery. The previous owner dealt with some rivet leakage with 3M 5200 on the bottom. The Motor is a lightweight 2008 Yamaha 25 hp 2-stroke outboard with full cockpit controls (F-N-R) and electric starting. The motor is in showroom condition both inside and out, has very few hours, and has been serviced regularly. It pushes the boat at close to 30 mph, making it suitable for the kids to ski and tube, and later for the adults to go out for a relaxing evening martini cruise. 1938 Century Utility Lot #045 (Sale Order 45 of 100) Professionally restored about 10 years ago by a boat mechanic on Lake George, NY. Minimal hours after restoration. The restorer used it on a small lake in Hollis, NH a few times and then stored it in a boat garage in Lake George for 2-3 years. Since then it has been used for 1 week per year for four of the last five years. It is professionally winterized and stored it in a garage every winter. It has been rewired to 12 volt, added an auto bilge, and replaced the cutlass and brass prop in 2016. The original throttle has been replaced. Gages, lights, and choke are currently not connected. They have not been redone. Varnish is in good condition and has a touchup every year as needed. Original hull soaks and swells nicely.
The boat was original to a Lake George camp and never left the lake from the time it was new until being stored in an airplane hanger in Granville NY, on the VT border. The owner of the Granville Marina purchased the boat and began restoration. The restoration was completed circa 2010 by the Lake George boat mechanic upon the passing of the previous owner. There is an original hull plate. The boat is currently registered and renewed annually. Because the boat spent most of its life with the original family on Lake George, and because of the age and NYS law, the boat was registered but no title exists or has ever existed. The brass rudder protruding off the stern is an unusual and attractive feature. The cushions were professionally redone during restoration and in excellent shape. The pennant post, nonfunctioning bow light and stern flagpole are present. There is an authentic, era-appropriate pennant. The chrome has not been restored. Original windscreen replaced with modern plexiglass, some corrosion on the windscreen chrome. There is a brand new EZ Load trailer with bunks in 2016. BOAT Information is as follows. MANUFACTURER: Century. MODEL: Utility. YEAR:1938. LENGTH: 15.5 feet. HULL MATERIAL: Mahogany. LAST IN WATER: July 2020. ENGINE detail is as follows. MANUFACTURER: Graymarine. MODEL: Phantom. HP:45. The 21 footer is a great boat for big, or little, lakes and even coastal waters. In addition to pretty green upholstery this Lyman comes with a cover, convertible top, side curtains, bilge pump, and a blower. Plus, there is beautiful 2017 Sierra dual-axle trailer with brakes.

1956 Barbour Lot #077 (Sale Order 77 of 100) The Barbour Boat Company was established in New Bern, NC in the 1930s to produce commercial boats for use on the coastal waters. By World War II the company had over 1200 employees and turned out a huge number of wooden mine sweepers for the US Navy. After the War the company shifted to making pleasure boats, using the factory and production methods they had been using on their military models. The result was a line of strongly-built lapstrake runabouts and cruisers employing oak for the keel, chines, and floor supports, with mahogany and plywood used for transoms, and mahogany for the decking and siding. Copper and bronze fasteners were used throughout.
This particular model is the 15’ 3” (5’9” beam) Vacationer Deluxe from 1956 in extraordinary condition. Because of the heavy duty construction of all Barbours, the Vacationer Deluxe displaces 480 pounds and is powered by a mid-60's Evinrude 40 hp electric start outboard motor, capable of pulling a skier or a couple of tubers. This particular boat was owned by the same family in North Carolina for more than 60 years and has been on Lake Winnipesaukee for the last few years. The owner tells us that the motor always starts immediately. The engine runs perfectly with absolutely no issues. The Evinrude electric push button shifter works flawlessly. The boat planes easily and can run at full throttle all day. Importantly, the boat has never been restored. It has been meticulously maintained its entire life. The perfectly balanced trailer is exceptional with a good spare tire. It tows effortlessly. Cruise, fish, and tube all day and then enter this baby in your local wooden boat show and see what happens. BOAT Information is as follows. MANUFACTURER: Barbour. MODEL: Runabout. YEAR:1956. LENGTH: 15 feet. HULL MATERIAL: wood. LAST IN WATER: Nov 2019. ENGINE detail is as follows. MANUFACTURER: Evinrude. MODEL: Evinrude. HP:35. YEAR: unknown. CYL: unknown. MAX SPEED: unknown. WINTERIZED: Yes. MECHANICAL CONDITION according to owner: Excellent. TRAILER information is as follows. MANUFACTURER: Macr. MODEL: unknown. YEAR: 1963. AXELS: One. ROADWORTHY?: Excellent. COMMENTS: With spare tire. Tires are excellent. |

1962 Correct Craft Lot #079 (Sale Order 79 of 100) The Correct Craft boat company began in 1925 in Florida, initially under the name of the Variety Boat Company. When the Depression hit, the owner W.C Meloon, lost most of his savings due to bank failures but kept selling his boats from the roof of his car while travelling up and down the East Coast. By the late 30's Correct Craft was building mahogany runabouts similar to Chris Craft but at lower prices.
During WW II the company switched from building pleasure boats to producing pontoon bridge boats for the Army, all from plywood. When peacetime production began in 1947 the company had had so much experience with plywood they turned all their boat production to strong and light marine plywood, eliminating the costly mahogany planking used by the competitors. Correct Craft, as a Florida company, worked early on with the new Cyprus Gardens park and introduced tournament water skiing. Correct Craft had found its niche and became the most famous and widely used tournament ski boat in the country, and still is. By the early 60's Correct Craft's line-up centered around the 16 Atom Ski Boat, fitted with a big V-8 engine. Our '62 16' Ski Boat has been owned by the same gentleman in Maine for several decades. It has been rebuilt and refinished over the years and recently the owner rebuilt the engine which only has about 50 hours on it. But, as you can see, the hull is ready for additional work before the boat is ready to pull up another slalom skier. Included is a trailer. This is definitely a project for a Correct Craft lover, but what a gem it will be when the work is done. It is possible that the engine is seized on this boat BOAT Information is as follows. MANUFACTURER: Correct Craft. MODEL: Runabout. YEAR:1962. LENGTH: 16 feet. HULL MATERIAL: Wood. ENGINE detail is as follows. MANUFACTURER: Graymarine. MODEL: Phantom. HP:148. CYL: 8. TRAILER information is as follows. MANUFACTURER: Home Made. AXELS: One. ROADWORTHY?: Yes but needs work. |

1947 Chris Craft Sportsman Lot #089 (Sale Order 89 of 100) The 22 ft Sportsman is one of Chris Crafts most popular models and was produced from the 40s to the late 50s. It is roomy, seaworthy, comfortable, and has some of the prettiest lines Chris Craft has ever come up with. During the war years Chris Craft production was directed to military construction. By 1947 the company was ready to start to deal with pent up demand for their boats and built many of that years models from painted cedar planking instead of the traditional mahogany. These war years Chris Crafts have a loyal following and offer the benefit of lower maintenance than the varnished versions.
This particular 22 ft Sportsman has a Chrysler 6 cylinder 115 hp engine that was rebuilt some time ago. The owner tells us that the engine ran great when put into storage. The bottom was completely replaced 10 years ago, eliminating one of the nagging issues of most older wooden boats. The boat needs some refinishing and probably will have other issues but it is a very worthwhile renovation project on a very popular Chris Craft model. BOAT Information is as follows. MANUFACTURER: Chris Craft. MODEL: Sportsman. YEAR:1947. LENGTH: 22 feet. HULL MATERIAL: Wood. ENGINE detail is as follows. MANUFACTURER: Chrysler . HP:115. YEAR: unknown. CYL: 6. WINTERIZED: Yes. MECHANICAL CONDITION according to owner: Good. TRAILER information is as follows. MANUFACTURER: Homemade. AXELS: One. ROADWORTHY?: yes. |
