Lot 518-Original Painting by Miles Fenton

Lot #518 (Sale Order 20 of 111)

Here's a vintage original painting by Miles Fenton depicting 3 cars and drivers from an early race at Laguna Seca at the Monterey Historical. On the back of the painting in the artists own hand is an identification of both the cars and the drivers... Giddings, Griswold...such a wonderful preservation of the history of the Historics !!! Apparently all but the artist are passed on now. The artist himself is still active both as a builder and driver, and somewhat of a genius/guru in engineering vintage racers to be perfectly balanced between horsepower and handling and braking. From a long-term collection. One of a kind opportunity. Buyer will be responsible for costs of shipping/packaging/crating (in some cases, depending upon how large your item is.) These items could take 1-3 weeks to ship depending upon materials needed to be used to complete the packaging. Most items will be shipped via USPS unless specified by buyer. 1958 Auto Union 1000SP

Lot #602 (Sale Order 28 of 111)

Appearing in 1958 was the Auto Union 1000 SP, a low-slung two-seater sports car that was produced for Auto Union by the Stuttgart coach builders, Baur. Adorned with tail fins, the stylish modern look of the car gave rise to the term “Baby Thunderbird”. This is a rare version of the inimitable DKW/Audi 3 cylinder/2 stroke front wheel drive with 54 horsepower. One of 5,004 coupes produced between 1958 and 1965. Weighed less than 2,100 lbs from the factory. Fabulous lines. The rarest of the lineup from new. Restored examples bring up to $100,000. A great opportunity to acquire a solid example for restoration. Historically important and very difficult to find in any condition. Location: Bremerton, Washington Additional August Auction Terms of Cyber Sale All lots are sold “AS IS“ and “ WHERE IS”. Take note of the location of the lot you bid on. Lot #603 (Sale Order 29 of 111)

1958 DKW/Auto Union Universal 1000S project/parts car. Rare first year model of the three-door station wagon that had production of only three model years between 1959-1962. Titled as a 1958, it was likely one of the first productions for the 1959 model year. This FWD vehicle has a 981 cc two-stroke straight-3 with a 4-speed manual transmission and column-mounted lever control. Beautiful design. Color is the actual original primer. Very rare to find such an original example. From Southern California. Would be a great platform for restoration. 1981 Harley Davidson FXS 1981 Harley Davidson FXS

1981 Harley Davidson FXS

Lot #605 (Sale Order 31 of 111)

Introduced in 1977, the FXS Low Rider was the first factory low rider in Harley’s lineup. The move was in response to a trend among enthusiasts at the time to customize their rides, which included lowered suspension systems, low slung seats and pull-back handlebars. It came equipped from the factory with alloy wheels, front disk brakes, extended forks with a 32° rake and a 26” seat height. An instant hit, the FXS Low Rider outsold all other Harley models in its first full year of production. This bike has a rebuilt lower end perfectly balanced with new 0.20” over pistons, new valve seats, new valve guides, and springs, etc. Installed is a new 40 cfm Bendix fully adjustable carb, with an S&S air cleaner. The bike has new primary sprockets and drive sprockets and a new high-tech clutch that is the cats meow. She is fitted with new AVON tires, and a new front brake master cylinder and controls. Also included are 2 stock Harley seats, both needing to be reupholstered, a couple of sets of handlebars and the original carb (which needs to be rejetted before use). Also, various spare parts would be included. This machine really puts your face in the wind and is a joy to ride. 2000 Honda Shadow Aero VT1100C3

Lot #606 (Sale Order 32 of 111)

2000 Honda Shadow Aero VT1100C3 **** 10,800 Original Miles **** Brochure Bike **** From Private Collection **** Final Production Year **** This is the one Harley Davidson sued Honda for being "TOO HARLEY" often referred to as the "Potato Suit", limiting it's production to only 3 years. (98,99 & 2000) Honda then decided to replace their first "Single Pin Crankshaft Engine" (like Harley)  with a dual or two place crank in 2001 and forgo the suit. The "AERO c3"  was the only model offered with this engine, while the ACE, Tourer, Sprint and Saber, all 1100s, were Dual Pin offerings. This one being of the last year of production, is sure to hold it's position in history for perpetuity. In fact, Wikipedia states "One of the markets fastest appreciating Japanese bikes, with fine examples bringing in excess of MSRP ($ 9,699.00) at auction."  You'll be hard pressed to find another in this condition.  With it's single pin crank engine and Vance and Hinds "Straight Shot" exhaust she serves up that distinctive rumbling rhythm and all the power you'll need with unmatched Honda reliability. First Honda produced with factory floorboards. 900 (avg.) Miles per Year. 1099 cc V twin. Liquid Cooled. Shaft Drive. Chrome details Radiator and Taillight. Memphis Shade low shield. New Viking bags (not pictured). Super clean, straight bike never down. Truly an investment quality bike. 1952 Borgward Midget “Eegore the Eyesore” 1952 Borgward Midget “Eegore the Eyesore”

1952 Borgward Midget “Eegore the Eyesore”

Lot #607 (Sale Order 33 of 111)

Built and raced by Wally and Kenny Parks of NHRA and Bell Helmet fame. Built in the ‘60s by Kurtis Kraft and never modernized. Desirable 1.5-litre Borgward engine. Originally raced in Hawaii. 1.5-litre Borgward four-cylinder engine, 75 HP, four-speed gearbox, drum brakes, independent four-wheel coil spring suspension, 102” wheelbase. In 1956, Borgwards’s racing division in Bremen, Germany, set about developing a 1.5-litre four-valve engine, based on the Isabella, with fuel injection and dual ignition. The resulting 150 HP engine powered the Borgward RS to numerous class victories. In 1959, this model was ideal for the newly established 1.5-litre Formula Two. Stirling Moss was driving a Cooper-Borgward and recorded four wins in the first four races. The famous race car driver is quoted as saying that Formula Two meant little to him at the time – until he sat in the Cooper with the Borgward engine. Wally Parks and his brother saw that success and found themselves a standard Borgward 75hp engine and a suitable Kurtis Kraft chassis. They broke it down to the essential components only, moved the engine block back for optimum handling performance, and placed the driver’s compartment back near the rear axle. Add in big and little race wheels and tires, and you’ve got a classic stance and the ability to go very fast on the dirt. There are even photos of the Parks brothers with Eegore at a number of famous California oval tracks. The hand-formed boat tail body has a classic look, with a single, central seat, small windscreen, and a racing three-spoke steering wheel just begging to be whipped around the track. It’s all business inside, with the four-speed floor shifter and metal dash containing only the essentials – and a few mementos of hot-rod events from the past. It’s an authentic presentation with enough wear and tear to show anyone that this car is the real deal, and actually raced by Kenny Parks. Custom painted in pink, with hand-lettered graphics and louvered engine panels, Eegore has a single straight pipe out the right side and a hand-formed streamlined tail section, along with a custom front grille with devilish horns for fun. Headlights….taillights….turn signals – bah… who needs ‘em. Stay out of my way and follow the cloud of dust! #32 isn’t waiting for anyone, and we’re sure the next owner is in for just as much fun as the Parks brothers behind the wheel of this period classic. Located in Bremerton, WA. Special Terms: Additional August Auction Terms of Cyber Sale All lots are sold “As Is “, “ Where is”. Please note where the lot is located that you are bidding on. 1980 MG MBG 1980 MG MBG

1980 MG MBG

Lot #611 (Sale Order 37 of 111)

1980 MG MGB Roadster - Recent Updates, Great Condition. 111,695 Miles.1.8 L B-Series I4 with a four-speed manual gearbox and electronic overdrive. Oversize wheels and tires. Panasonic CD am/fm sound with Bose speakers. Recent part replacement. 2016 - Upgraded carb, intake and header. 2018 - New starter and ring gear.2018 - New rear seal. 2018 - New seats, door panels and floor mats. 2019 - New fuel pump and battery. Produced from 1962 until 1980, the MGB roadster was a pure two-seater sportscar featuring a 1.8 L 4-cylinder mated to a 4-speed automatic. Although producing only 92 hp, its curb weight of just over 2,000 lbs made it significantly lighter than the average American sports car of its time, which had wide appeal for someone seeking a peppy, superbly handling and reliable mode of transport. Indeed, the MGB and its variants were a global success story, selling well over half a million units—300,000 in the US alone—before British Leyland closed the factory in Abingdon in 1980, ending production. This lovely example is from the series’ last model year and is equipped with convertible soft top. It has been subject to an expert mechanical inspection and features recent updates to bring the vehicle back to life. This is, in many ways, a time-capsule car. There are some minor aesthetic shortcomings not atypical of a car of its age. A small section of dashboard is cracked in an inconspicuous area on the passenger side. A 3-inch section of fabric is ripped where the convertible top meets the driver’s side window, near the A-pillar. This does not affect the integrity of the roof itself and should be an easy repair. The passenger side mirror is missing, as is a single clip holding a corner of the soft-top to the body. Sold to settle an estate. Extremely fun, dependable sports car priced to sell. 1952 MG TD Roadster 1952 MG TD Roadster

1952 MG TD Roadster

Lot #615 (Sale Order 41 of 111)

The MG TD Midget roadster was part of the storied T-Type series, which was produced between 1936 and 1955. Introduced in 1949, the TD was the brainchild of John Thornley who, shortly thereafter in 1952, would be appointed Director and General Manager of the MG Car Company. The core concept behind its development was to create a vehicle that would be appealing to the North American market withoutbreaking the bank in development. It therefore borrowed heavily from MG’s tookit, combining the TC’s drivetrain and the familiar T-type body style with a Y-type chassis, which improved rigidity. The frame was modified to sweep over the rear axle, granting increased rear spring travel, which improved dampening. Front coils and wishbones, as well as rack and pinion steering, gave the TD a vastly better handling car than the TC. This example is a charming old relic cocooned in storage for decades. Absolutely cherished and taken great care of its entire life, it has been long awaiting a sympathetic restoration. Unfortunately the seller is no longer able to manage the project and so reluctantly passes the torch to the next generation of enthusiast. This is one of the most tenderhearted and meticulous restoration projects you’ll ever see. So much time, effort, and care has gone into the gorgeous restoration of this car. The restoring owner kept detailed records that you can see in the photos. This car’s journey has truly been a labor of love. 1970 Lotus Elan S3 Roadster SE

Lot #620 (Sale Order 45 of 111)

The Lotus Elan was the first Lotus road car to use a steel backbone chassis with a fiberglass body. This style of construction was to be repeated in subsequent Lotus models for nearly three decades. This generation of the two-seater Elan was famously driven by Diana Rigg in the character of Emma Peel in the 1960s British television series The Avengers. The reference to a car accident in the Beatles song "A Day in the Life" was apocryphally based on Tara Browne's fatal accident in his Lotus Elan. This Elan is a perfect candidate for a light restoration. The interior boasts a wood grain dashboard in wonderful condition for its age. 1966 Mercedes Benz 230SL 1966 Mercedes Benz 230SL

1966 Mercedes Benz 230SL

Lot #621 (Sale Order 46 of 111)

Lot 621 is a 230SL with a rebuilt 280SE engine. There has been more than $120,000 in updates & restoration, almost all documented. The first 14 years are unknown but with some accidents. In 1980 it was acquired by a collector, driven for a while & then garaged for 18 years. I bought it in 2000 & began restoration as a daily driver so all mechanical issues were a priority. From 2015 on it ran only as a collector car while body, paint & upholstery were redone & any older work redone right. All work was done or supervised by Rob Cairney of The Benz Friendz & his associates. Most recently Bob Fields of Bob’s Benz updated the head & tune up. Of special note is it’s use as a radar calibration car for the RCMP in British Columbia where it reached 135 mph in 1980, some way over redline.  It has a unique radiator star with the badge of the Order of the Golden Fleece as the last owner was an officer in an association of friends of the order. Having had three stars kicked out this one is on a steel strap. Non standard items are the wonderful Pertronix electronic ignition, the superior 280SL u-joint, an old 8 track cover on the radio cutout & after market beauty rings. Work includes: Rebuilt 280SE engine, rebuilt transmission with newer clutch, newer u/joint, hydraulic lines updated, newer brakes, alternator, new battery, rebuilt radiator & water pump, new fuel pump & sender, high tension wires, all bearings but rear end, new Bilstrin shocks, new soft top, seat bodies rebuilt & recovered, new square weave carpet & more. Known faults in this 54 year old car are bad tops to plastic headlight frames, a so far unrepairable short in the rear license phage light ( 4 attempts over 45 years), small chip is the newly replaced windshield, right front parking light bulb out, no radio and the usual little nicks & chips. 1965 MG MGB Roadster 1965 MG MGB Roadster

1965 MG MGB Roadster

Lot #624 (Sale Order 49 of 111)

This is a 1965 pull handle MGB with the five main crankshaft. The pull handle and five main where only made and sold from Feb 1964 to April 1965, after that the push button handle were standard. Small production numbers for North America. This car was pretty much brought back to original condition, with the exception of a later all synchro overdrive transmission. The original banjo steering wheel is included, in its place is a moto-lita steering wheel. Also a set of knock off mini lite wheels replaced the wire wheels. This car has the pack away hood and OEM hardtop. Included is a NOS black hood that has never been installed, the old top is OK but tired looking. The engine was completely tore down and rebuilt with all new parts. Harden valves, and balance crank and pistons. I forget if it went back to standard bore or some thing over that. Standard cam grind. There is less than 10,000 miles on the new engine. Front end rebuilt with new bushings and fasteners, new steering arm gaters, NOS Armstrong shocks all around. New brake cylinders rotors and drums with new brake pads, hoses and fluid. Most every thing on this car has been refurbished or replaced with NOS where available or from Moss Motors. The interior is a Moss Motors leather seat set, carpet and door panels. The only original parts are some of the dash gages fuel tank (flushed and sealed) and the wiring harness. Has a period looking Becker AM/FM stereo radio. All of the rusted body panels were cut out and new Steel Craft panels installed. The body was stripped of every thing then the paint was stripped to bare metal. The car was then sent in for paint. The car was put back together and over the course of several years improvements were done in order to make the car as dependable as possible. The project was started around 1997 and was able to attend a British car show in Vancouver BC July of 1999. It would take between 25 and 30 thousand dollars today to do it again. The vehicle has only had non ethanol 92 octane for fuel. The is a British Heritage Trust certificate for this car, along with several BMC original parts and shop manuals. Located in Washington

1970 Lotus Elan +2 1970 Lotus Elan +2

1970 Lotus Elan +2

Lot #635 (Sale Order 56 of 111)

1971 Lotus Elan +2- The Lotus Elan was the first Lotus road car to use a steel backbone chassis with a fiberglass body. It was widely admired and praised by customers and reviewers, noted for its exceptional road handling, steering, acceleration, braking and comfort. This rare twin cam example with nice interior, older paint, and has had recent service completed. Drive it as is today or better it over time. Should use some servicing before any long journeys as it has been in storage for many years. From a long-term owner. Famous for its role with Diana Rigg and Emma Peel in the Avengers. Because of its successful design and rigorous attention to cost control on the body, chassis, engine and transmission, the Elan become Lotus' first commercial success and contributed to the funding of its achievements in racing over the next ten years. It revived a company stretched thin by the more exotic, expensive to build, and rather unreliable Lotus Elite, which used a fiberglass monocoque body/chassis and all aluminum Coventry Climax engine. An Elan +2 was introduced in 1967 with a longer wheelbase and wider track, and two small rear seats, suitable for children. While the Elan was a two-seater sports car marketed to the single man/woman or young couple, the +2 was larger and considerably more luxurious vehicle marketed to the established family with children. Reviews reflected this new marketplace for Lotus. Motor Sport magazine reported the design goal as: it was decided to increase the interior dimensions considerably to meet the car's maxim that it "must be capable of transporting two adults and two children 1,000 miles in comfort with their luggage". While the Elan ceased production in 1973 the Elan +2 continued to be produced until 1975, eventually being replaced by the Elite II and Lotus Eclat. Aside from the increase in size necessary to accommodate two additional seats, the design of the Elan +2 was extremely similar to the two-seater Elan. The concept of a backbone chassis with fiberglass body, powered by a Ford UK-derived drive train was maintained. Double wishbone and Chapman Strut front/rear suspension of identical design was also used, with some components (e.g. rear hubs) shared with the two seat Elan and others (e.g. wishbones) increased in size. Power assisted brakes were standard, dual circuit in some markets. In 1968 a more luxurious version of the Elan +2 was released, named the +2S. As with the two seat Elan, the exact number of +2s produced is unknown. The estimated total is approximately 5,200. However, John Bolster's "The Lotus Elan and Europa: A Collector's Guide" provides the number of 3,300. Fewer than 1,200 of these cars remain on the roads today Location: Bremerton, Washington, Special Terms: Additional August Auction Terms of Cyber Sale All lots are sold “As Is “, “ Where is”. All rubber window surrounds were purchased directly from Mercedes Heritage for $3,400. The bumpers were custom manufactured and are stunning. The doors, hood and trunk are properly hung and functional. 1967 Austin Mini Moke

Lot #641 (Sale Order 62 of 111)

This festive Mini Moke from 1967 is a superb example, offered from long-term dry storage. The Moke gained stardom on the small screen, with several appearances such as TV’s “The Prisoner” series and 1973 James Bond Movie “Live and Let Die”. Designed for  paratroopers in WWII. Later became the rage in Europe for vineyards, estates, in seaside towns and even placed on decks of yachts. Some 51,000 examples were built in total, with many finding favor with generations of farmers, linemen and ranchers for their toughness and sheer utility. Finished in yellow with new custom upholstery yellow/white stripped top and seats. This basic layout, combined with small 10-inch diameter wheels at each corner of its squat, box-like body, also provided the Mini with a deceptively spacious passenger cabin. If features a 998 cc BMC A-Series inline four-cylinder, four-speed manual front transaxle transmission, four-wheel independent suspension and hydraulic four-wheel drum brakes. Recently mechanically sorted, could make a fun leisure vehicle or provide a great way to get around your acreage.,Located in Bremerton, Washington,TermsAdditional May Auction Terms of Cyber Sale: All lots are sold “As Is “, “ Where is”. 1972 Volkswagen Type 2 Westfalia 1972 Volkswagen Type 2 Westfalia

1972 Volkswagen Type 2 Westfalia

Lot #643 (Sale Order 64 of 111)

CHASSIS NO: 2342072358 • “Barn find” Westfalia Camper Van • Solid body and highly complete • Prime restoration candidate • Popular classic VW with loyal following. 1,700 cc air-cooled OHV horizontally-opposed engine, 72 HP, four-speed manual transaxle, independent front suspension with transverse torsion bars and upper and lower radius arms, swing axle rear suspension with trailing arms and torsion bar, four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes; wheelbase: 94.5”. Soon after the end of World War II in Europe, enthusiasm built among the Allied occupation authorities and local German people for the return of the former KdF-Wagen plant in Wolfsburg to production. Quickly, its only civilian product to date, the Dr. Ferdinand Porsche-designed “People’s Car,” was renamed the Volkswagen Type 1 as the launch product of the newly renamed Volkswagenwerk AG. The basic design of the economical and sturdy Type 1, soon to gain its enduring “Beetle” moniker, was a natural starting point for supplementary models. As early as 1946, British Major Ivan Hirst had sketched a lift-truck Type 1 derivative, initially intended for use within the Wolfsburg factory. Ben Pon, the automotive distributor who introduced his native Holland to the curious little Volkswagen, made the first generally acknowledged rough sketches predicting the boxy Type 2 Transporter as early as 1947. Beginning with eight Transporters displayed publicly in 1949, the first-generation Volkswagen Type 2 Transporters soon entered production and were sold in ever-growing numbers, through the end of first-generation production in 1967 and followed by the comprehensively updated 1968-79 iteration and the water-cooled 1980-93 Vanagon. In addition to the Kombi passenger/cargo van and dressy Samba passenger vans, alternatively marketed as the Station Wagon in America, the Transporter was also advertised as the Microbus. A dizzying array of commercial van and pickup models was also offered. A limited-production cornerstone of VW “Bus” production was the Westfalia camper van by Westfalia-Werke. Initially produced with a pop-up roof and later, a rear-hinged roof, the Westfalia camper van was a virtual home on wheels and as much a counterculture symbol as it was a family vacation machine, with folding seats that converted into beds, plus storage compartments, folding tables and even sinks and stoves inside them. This 1972 Volkswagen Westfalia Camper Van is a rare “garage find” example and as such, includes such advancements as the more-powerful, 1700-series engine shared with VW’s 411 passenger models. Developing 72 horsepower, this engine cut acceleration times significantly from those of prior models and yielded an official top speed of 75 miles per hour. This highly complete example also retains the woodgrain furnishings, including a sink, storage bureau, folding table and combination rear seat/bed. The signature Westfalia roof remains in place, as does the faithful air-cooled four-cylinder engine at the rear. While the paint is faded, much of the finish remains intact, along with all glass, lights, and hubcaps. Regardless of their specific generation and model year, all surviving examples of the VW Transporter are tremendously engaging and never fail to draw admirers. With appropriate cleaning, detailing, and mechanical attention, or complete restoration, this 1972 Volkswagen Westfalia camper could provide the basis for your next adventure with family and friends. Simpson Design Swift Simpson Design Swift

Simpson Design Swift

Lot #646 (Sale Order 67 of 111)

The Swift project started about 4 years ago. A 3D programmer friend of mine, Dan Palatnik, who lives in Brazil, saw the model pics and sent me an email, offering to do a virtual model of the car for me, should I get serious about building one. I made a second model and sent it to Dan, who immediately set about creating the preliminary drawings, which we then modified to give us a uniquely Simpson design. I then contracted with Dan to make a 3d station buck model. Enter another good friend of mine, Raffi Minassian, another profession automotive designer and also an Industrial arts professor in San Fransisco, who took Dan’s 3D renders and had them wood laser cut for us. This let us build a 1/5 scale model to make sure the buck would work. Raffi, JR and I later assembled a full-sized water jet cut plywood buck also created from Dan’s 3D program. Never having done a full-sized body this way, it was an interesting learning curve. In the end, I decided that skinning the wooden buck in steel was the answer. Once I had that done, I contacted the guys over Sunbacker Fiberglass in Monroe WA. In the meantime I scratch built a chassis in mild steel, designed to use the subframes and driveline from a second generation Mazda Miata, except shortened by 2 inches, giving us an 88“ wheel base. On completion, we took it over to Sunbacker on the trailer, fitted it to the first body Sunbacker had made - amazing, he two actually fit together - and we proceeded to bring the whole lot back to the shop for additional development. I kept looking at the windshield opening. In some way it was familiar. I called up my glass supplier and asked him if he could get me engineering drawings and specs on a 58-62 Corvette windscreen. We decided that the windshield would be attached in a trough below the cowl, and affixed with Butyl Rubber in the same as most modern windshields. We had a custom rubber extrusion made to trim out the top edge and an alloy channel made to go over the rubber extrusion to trim it all out. On with more parts development - before long I had created a dashboard and underwood side panels in steel to be reproduced in fiberglass. The guys over in Monroe were as always ready to help, and we also made a trough for the windscreen to sit down into the cowl, giving us a way to attach it to the car.Next we needed to make doors, hood and trunk lid inner to be made along with molds for inner parts. A few weeks later all this and molds had been created. I decided to utilize as many parts from the Mazda Miata as possible so hood hinges and door hinges were modified to work with the car Fuel tank and delivery became another challenge, so we had an alloy fuel tank made. I took the fuel sender and pump assembly from a Miata tank and modified them to work in the new aluminum tank. Not wanting to recreate some of the explosive disasters of car maker history, we moved the tank from just above the rear subframe into the trunk just behind the rear seat bulkhead. This would be fitted out with one of the Cobra style competition fuel fillers on the rear cowl just in front of the trunk lid. We stripped the wiring out of the Miata donor car and heavily modified it. Our client would want the electronic fuel injection and instrumentation as well as switch assemblies. I wanted to keep the wire wheels as a period nod to the Lotus street cars of the day even though we were not making a replica, and after purchasing numerous Dunlop wire wheel hubs, I was finally able to arrive at one we could lightly machine to work on the car, giving it that vintage British look. Chuck Simpson develop badging for the car, which we had manufactured. The front and side emblems are very old school in that they are chromed steel with cloisonne. The interior was trimmed out in leatherette and carpets, the tunnel diamond tufted. The dash is very old tradition, finished in wrinkle finished black paint.Using the front and rear subframes from the second generation Mazda Miata insured excellent suspension geometry. The balance of the MX5 engine, gearbox, instrumentation along with the ladder bar (which we modified) going from the transmission to the limited slip differential completed the drive train package. A larger than stock, custom made aluminum radiator provides engine cooling, using a single thermostatically operated electric cooling fan. The Swift, as we call it, weighs in around 1,400 lbs and is pretty much a sports racer for the street - no heater, no power steering, no A/C and no top - and all this weight saving means it lives up to its name. While it was a very expensive project to make, I am delighted that I took the time and spent the money to create this amazing little car. At this point I have made twice as many as there were of the original. Do we have any plans for production? Not really - guessing the cost alone would discourage most folks. None the less, it exists, and in its own little way, is a nod to the past. Located in Washington

1963 Dodge Custom Camper 1963 Dodge Custom Camper

1963 Dodge Custom Camper

Lot #654 (Sale Order 74 of 111)

Clarence is up for sale. A unique camper. In 1963 the Dodge dealer in Lewiston, Idaho, ordered the chassis from Kalamazoo, Michigan, and had the camper custom built in Spokane, Washington. I am the third owner and have had it for the last 16 years. We drove it to Minnesota, but mostly locally to campgrounds and rivers to fish. The 318 wideblock motor runs strong and has been rebuilt. The older Dodge guys claim it's the toughest motor ever built. A few years ago a talented carpenter remodeled the camper. Everything works: stove; on-demand hot water heater; fridge. Also has an outside shower and air conditioning in the cab. This retro functional camper is not geared to race down the highway at 75 mph. Clarence implores the driver to take it easy and enjoy the ride. Last weekend we camped with friends at Farragut park. On Sunday as we came home we got 7 compliments and thumbs up. Clarence isn't for everyone, but will be a great fit for someone. Located in Moscow, ID

1973 Porsche 914 Targa 1973 Porsche 914 Targa

1973 Porsche 914 Targa

Lot #655 (Sale Order 75 of 111)

1972 Porsche 914 This car features new paint and new interior. White on black New exhaust muffler Refinished dash panel Replaced shocks and springs Repaired wiring and relay to head lamp motor Align doors New trunk lid spring install Replace wiring harness Total expenses over $20,000.00 Nice car. Located in Bremerton Washington The Porsche 914 is a mid-engined sports car designed, manufactured and marketed collaboratively by Volkswagen and Porsche from 1969 to 1976. It was only available as a targa-topped two-seat roadster powered by either a flat-4 or flat-6 engine. By the late 1960s, both Volkswagen and Porsche were in need of new models; Porsche was looking for a replacement for their entry-level 912, and Volkswagen wanted a new range-topping sports coupé to replace the Volkswagen Type 34 Karmann Ghia coupé. At the time the majority of Volkswagen's development work was handled by Porsche as part of an agreement that dated back to Porsche's founding. Volkswagen needed to contract out one last project to Porsche to fulfill the contract and decided to make the 914 that project. Ferdinand Piëch, who was in charge of research and development at Porsche, was put in charge of the 914 project. In 1966 and 1967, German company Gugelot Design GmbH began showing a proposed design for a sports coupe built with technology developed in partnership with Bayer to several major car builders, including Volkswagen and Porsche. Some sources have suggested that the Gugelot proposal, suitably adapted, was the origin of the design of the 914. The rationale is that an outside design would be able to please both Volkswagen and Porsche without appearing too similar to either of the partners' existing products. Later sources have rejected this idea. While acknowledging that Porsche was aware of the Gugelot design, they assert that the 914 design was done in-house at Porsche and is primarily the work of body engineer Heinrich Klie. Originally intending to sell the vehicle with a flat four-cylinder engine as a Volkswagen and with a flat six-cylinder engine as a Porsche, Porsche decided during development that having Volkswagen and Porsche models sharing the same body would be risky for business in the American market, and convinced Volkswagen to allow them to sell both versions as Porsches in North America. On March 1, 1968, the first 914 prototype was presented. However, development became complicated after the death of Volkswagen's chairman, Heinrich Nordhoff, on April 12, 1968. His successor, Kurt Lotz, was not connected with the Porsche dynasty and the verbal agreement between Volkswagen and Porsche fell apart. In Lotz's opinion, Volkswagen had all rights to the model, and no incentive to share it with Porsche if they would not share in tooling expenses. With this decision, the price and marketing concept for the 914 had failed before series production had begun. As a result, the price of the chassis went up considerably, and the 914/6 ended up costing only a bit less than the 911T, Porsche's next lowest priced car. The 914 was Motor Trend's Import Car of the Year for 1970. Slow sales and rising costs prompted Porsche to discontinue the 914/6 variant in 1972 after producing 3,351 of them. Production of the 914 ended in 1976. The 2.0 L flat-4 engine continued to be used in the 912E, introduced that year as an entry-level model until the front-engined four-cylinder 924 was introduced the following model year. The 914/4 became Porsche's top seller during its model run, outselling the Porsche 911 by a wide margin with over 118,000 units sold worldwide. 1975 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 1975 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

1975 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

Lot #665 (Sale Order 82 of 111)

The 1975 model was advertised as "a more efficient Corvette, as service intervals were extended and electronic ignition and the federally mandated catalytic converter were introduced with "unleaded fuel only" warnings on the fuel gauge and filler door. Dual exhaust pipes were routed to a single converter, then split again leading to dual mufflers and tailpipes. Starting this year, tachometers were electronically driven. The Corvette began to be influenced by the metric system as speedometers now displayed small subfaces indicating kilometers-per-hour. 75's featured revised inner bumper systems with molded front and rear simulated bumper guards. The urethane rear bumper, now in its second year, reappeared as a one-piece seamless unit. This was the final year for Astro Ventilation. Power bottomed out this year — the base engine produced only 165 hp (123 kW) and the only remaining optional motor, the L-82, dropped an astonishing 45 hp (34 kW), managing to deliver 205 hp (153 kW). With no larger engine available, L-82 hood emblems began to appear on cars so equipped. Unchanged was the standard rear axle ratio for the base engine, which remained at 3.08 with automatic and 3.36 with manual transmission. Car and Driver recorded a respectable 7.7 second 0-60 time in a 1975 base engine-automatic, making the Corvette still one of the fastest cars available at the time. C&D said: "The Corvette feels highly competent with power-everything to help you guide the long body around...Car looks and drives like new.  Have receipts from previous owner exceeding $16000.  Just under 72000 miles.  Original 350 cu in (5.7 l) Small-Block V8 with a 3 speed turbo hydramatic automatic transmission.  Has been painted with correct factory original paint code. 1964 Volkswagen Samba 21 Window Bus 1964 Volkswagen Samba 21 Window Bus

1964 Volkswagen Samba 21 Window Bus

Lot #668 (Sale Order 85 of 111)

4 Cylinder, 4-speed manual, RWD Among lovers of the iconic “Samba” microbus, the 1962-67 models are prized for their combination of split-window styling, which disappeared in the next generation, and the more powerful optional 1500 “Fifteen” engine. These 21-window Splitties also have a larger, more convenient tailgate and rear windshield, making maneuvering and parking a far less stressful proposition. Unlike some vehicles that come into and out of favor with changing tastes, the Samba is as wildly popular today as it was when built. In fact, as soon as 21-window Splittie production ended in 1967, it became an instant classic, and has remained so ever since. Getting a complete Restoration. Curremtly in Primer. Location: Bremerton, Washington, Special Terms: Additional August Auction Terms of Cyber Sale All lots are sold “As Is “, “ Where is”. Please note where the lot is located that you are bidding on. They are in multiple locations. Shipping can be arranged at buyer’s sole risk and expense after cleared payment has been received and paid in full. 1989 Toyota Landcruiser 1989 Toyota Landcruiser

1989 Toyota Landcruiser

Lot #682 (Sale Order 96 of 111)

This 1989 Toyota Landcruiser FJ62 has had 2 owners from new. It has been in the same ownership since 1991 when it had 30,705 miles. This FJ62 has been garaged the majority of its life and that is reflected in its condition. It remains in its stock form with no aftermarket modifications and has been well maintained and lovingly looked after. The 6 cylinder engine runs very well, the automatic transmission shifts as it should and it drives great, the air conditioning blows very cold, the heater works well and it has a rear heater, all power options work(however the power antenna is broken), tires and brakes are in good condition, the 4 wheel drive works well, interior surfaces and materials are in nice condition, and the exterior is very solid overall. The vehicle shows signs of some previous paint work and has some failing clear coat in those areas (pictured). There are some very small areas of light and surface rust that are pictured as well. Overall, the vehicle is exceptionally solid and does not suffer from the rust issues that so many of these vehicles have. Pictures were taken of the underside to show how solid this FJ is. This is a very solid and honest old Landcruiser that would be a great driver or take it to the next level. These vehicles are a great investment as prices are on the rise and they have such a low cost of ownership. Happy Bidding on this Great Landcruiser! Located in Edgewood, WA.

1959 Chrysler Imperial Crown

Lot #689 (Sale Order 102 of 111)

This car has been stored for generations... last registered in Montana in 1983. It was purchased at an estate auction in 2014 by the selling dealer to be a personal project. This Montana car is ready to be a driver, or could be fully restored. It's a complete, and straight car with minimal rust and solid floor. Power windows including the vent wing all work. The power top motor works and will retract the top about half way before binding on something... probably needs to be adjusted, but it does work! Even the power antenna works! Runs and drives, needs paint, interior refurbishment, and top replacement. The only mechanical work that we've done to it is an engine replacement with a 440 of unknown origin, good compression numbers and good runner. The original (low compression?) 440 is still available and will come with the car if the buyer chooses. Location: Kalispell, Washington, Special Terms: Additional August Auction Terms of Cyber Sale All lots are sold “As Is “, “ Where is”. Please note where the lot is located that you are bidding on. Lot #693 (Sale Order 106 of 111)

1982 Cadillac Seville VIN# 1G6AS6986CE698571 Mileage Shown 52,353 Engine HT4100 4100cc 4.1 liters 249 cu.in. Aluminum block V8 Transmission THM325-4L 4Speed automatic Color Blue Interior Blue Leather The Cadillac Seville 2nd generation (1980-1985) belongs to mid-size luxury / executive car class. This one-owner car is all-original unrestored condition. The car was loved and well care-for, but the owner and has donated the car as a charity auction benefitting LeMay-America’s Car Museum. The car was named “Blue Maxx” by the owners. Overall, the body is in good condition with only a dent at the right rear very low on the quarter panel, a small dent in the left rear door and a very small dent in the left side of the hood. The car was repainted at some point and has some cracking and splitting in places. All of the bumper filler panels are brittle, cracked and broken. There are some small bubbles near the rear window and at the lower edge of the trunk lid. All glass is good and the power windows work. The bumpers are good but the rubber strip in the right front is damaged. The left tail light lens is broken but all lights front and rear are working. The interior is in good condition showing normal wear. The dash pad and dash/instrument panel are both in excellent condition. All the warning lights work and look good. The radio, blower fan and wipers all work. The driver’s seat bottom has splitting at a couple of the seams. Otherwise, the seats just show normal wear. The driver’s door panel has some cracked and distorted areas and the courtesy light is loose. The passenger front door panel has a split at the rear edge of the armrest. The carpet has normal wear but is in good condition. Tires: The tires have good tread. The rears were built the 27th week of 2011 so they look and show good but should probably be replaced due to age. The fronts were built the 29th week of 2016 so they have great tread and are only three years old. Brakes: The front and rear brake pads and rotors are in good condition. The brakes operate normally. Engine and Transmission: The car has just received a full service. Before attempting to start the engine, all the old gas was pumped out and new fuel was added. The oil and filter were changed and all fluids checked. The battery was dead from sitting so it was charged and appears to be holding a charge now. The engine is a little hard starting and runs a little rough at times but seems to get a little better the more it runs. The transmission shifts properly with no slipping noticed. The radio, wipers and blower fan work. There are three sets of keys. The owner’s manual is included and the jack and spare tire are present. Overview: This car has had only one owner. The owner is no longer able to drive so the car has been parked a little over a year. The car seems to drive nice and appears to have regular routine maintenance. And would be a nice, and interesting, daily driver or vintage collectible 80’s classic!

1976 Lotus Elite NO RESERVE 1976 Lotus Elite NO RESERVE

1976 Lotus Elite NO RESERVE

Lot #694 (Sale Order 107 of 111)

Significant mechanical restoration with $16,000 in billing. Needs paint and finishing. Rare model of the “James Bond” era. Very few survived.Three door coupe body type. RWD. Manual 5-speed gearbox. The Lotus Elite name has been used for two production vehicles and one concept vehicle developed and manufactured by British automobile manufacturer Lotus Cars. The first generation Elite Type 14 was produced from 1957 to 1963 and the second generation model from 1974 to 1982. The Elite name was also applied to a concept vehicle unveiled in 2010. From 1974 to 1982, Lotus produced the considerably larger four-seat Type 75 and later Type 83 Elite. With this design Lotus sought to position itself upmarket and move away from its kit-car past. The Elite was announced in May 1974. It replaced the ageing Lotus Elan Plus 2. The Elite has a shooting brake body style, with a glass rear hatch opening into the luggage compartment. The Elite's fiberglass bodyshell was mounted on a steel backbone chassis evolved from the Elan and Europa. It had 4-wheel independent suspension using coil springs. The Elite was the first Lotus automobile to use the aluminum-block 4-valve, DOHC, four-cylinder Type 907 engine that displaced 1,973 cc. The Elite was fitted with a 4 or 5-speed manual transmission depending on the customer specifications. Beginning in January 1976, an automatic transmission was optional. The Elite had a claimed drag co-efficient of 0.30 and at the time of launch, it was the world's most expensive four-cylinder car. The Elite's striking shape was designed by Oliver Winterbottom. He is quoted as saying that the basic chassis and suspension layout were designed by Colin Chapman, making the Elite and its sister design the Eclat the last Lotus road cars to have significant design input from Chapman himself.
