WILL ROGERS MEMORIAM SCRAPBOOK AND BIO LOT OF TWO Lot #9072 (Sale Order 72 of 546) Contains "The Will Rogers Scrapbook" (1976) and "Will Rogers: Ambassador of Good Will - Prince of Wit and Wisdom." (1935) The former was selected and edited by Bryan B. Sterling and the latter was written by P.J. O'Brian. Both serve as a memoriam of the late Will Rogers, who had already passed prior to these books being published. Both are hard cover and both remain in very good condition. BOTH contain pictures of the late actor with descriptions.

KNIGHTS OF THE KU KLUX KLAN IMPERIAL PASSPORT Lot #9082 (Sale Order 82 of 546) KKK Imperial Passport and 4 inch metal carrying case. Valid only for members of the "Imperial KLAN of the Invisible Empire." "T.A.P. at M.A.G." is fading and etched on the outside of the gold-colored case. On the inner flap, the meaning to this acronym is revealed. It reads "Take a Peek at my Adorable Grandchildren." Passport itself is stained and a bit torn around the edges, but these are typical hallmarks of aging. Red lettering and purple stamp have retained their vibrancy. Paper is dated "DEC 31 1925" and signed by the imperial wizard. Bearer of this note is stamped "R.A. Evans #4" in purple. He signed his name and included the city, street, and state of his address on the backside. Overall, item is in very good condition.

The first and arguably the most noticeable is a colorful paperback detailing the history and training cycle of the 17th Airborne Division during WWII. Published in 1944. The second book in the lot presents the 82nd Airborne Division during operation "Power Pack" in the Dominican Republic (1965-1966). Aside from basic black font, Soviet red is the most common color seen in this book - in font or in pictures. Dark blue binding is peeling off of the back, but "OGIZ STATE PUBLISHING HOUSE OF POLITICAL LITERATURE 1939" is visibly stamped. The spine is badly cracked, but the contents inside remain intact. Overall, this commemorative book is in very good condition and shows natural toning and discoloration for a book of this age.

The one stained in red showcases a picture of a German soldier pulling the red Soviet logo off of a Russian soldier. German text below it translates to a ploy to get Red Army soldiers to desert their own and turn themselves over to the German Wehrmacht. "We will treat the turncoat well, feed him and take care of him," it states. The other is strictly written in Russian and its translation is debatable. Overall, aside from some staining and tears on the outside of the pages, this lot of 2 is in very good condition. All three are in great condition, save for some fraying and mothing. All three are also made of felt. The Kriegsmarine (navy) storage bag is navy blue in color, approximately 22 inches in length, and sports a gold Reichsadler eagle and gold anchor below it. Black laces secure the dagger in place. WWII NAZI THIRD REICH SS TROPICAL BELT AND BUCKLE Lot #9483 (Sale Order 477 of 546) WWII German Third Reich SS Tropical Green Belt and Buckle. Can be attributed to the Nazi campaign in Africa. Underside of aluminum buckle is stamped with maker's mark "RZM," German Runes, and "OLT/62637." Exterior of the buckle shows some wear and scratches but the Reichsadler emblem and "Meine Ehre Heisst Treue" (My Honor is Loyalty) are easily discernable. The adjustable leather strap that the buckle connects to is approximately 7.5 inches in length. The entirety of the belt fabric is 40.5 inches in length. The fabric is somewhat frayed and there is mothing present, but the belt is in good condition overall. Does not fluoresce.
