Pamphlet style softcover book, "How: Indian Sign Talk In Pictures" by Iron Eyes Cody, published by Homer H. Boelter Lithography, Hollywood, CA, 1959. Third printing. Book features a veritable encyclopedia of American Indian sign language, complete with illustrations and photographs. Book is dedicated to the youth of America, with an emphasis placed on the Boy Scouts of America. Some of the photographs in the book are of famous indians, including the son of Chief Sitting Bull, meeting with the author of the book. Excellent condition, with minor wear to edges and stapled binding.

Paperwork is approximately 27" x 21 1/2", and consists of 2 large sheets of thick paper bound together with three lengths of ribbon. All portions of the paper are covered with thickly detailed calligraphy, detailing the information about the mortgage of a parcel of land - No. 2 Mortimer Road - in St. Marylebone parish, Middlesex England. The front portion of the paper describes the transaction thusly "Mortgage of No.2 Mortimer Road in the Parish of St. Marylebone Middlesex for securing (Pounds Sterling)400 and Interest". Paper is liberally dotted with wax seals and stamps of various types, sizes, and designs.

French Carriage Clock

Carriage clock with brass frame, four glass sides, key winding, front and back doors, enamel face. Marked "Made in France 6308 5 2 CH" on back of clock mechanism inside glass. Unknown manufacturer - style seems similar to Japy Freres. There is a mark on the top of the movement, that due to the angle I cannot make out (I tried using a small hand mirror, but was unsuccessful). Another mark on the interior of the movement reads "28 60". Chime still sounds, and at least some of the movement still functions, but I don't know if the clock is entirely functional. Mercury pendulum is marked "EL 17.1997b"

Unusual Ironstone Serpent Handle Pitcher with Hunting Scene

Unusual antique Ironstone pitcher, with figural serpent handle and spout (spout has been repaired), and featuring an embossed relief hunting scene showing mounted gentlemen watching a pack of hunting dogs take down a stag. Handle is very unusual, and is formed out of two entwined serpent tails which then separate and encircle the top of the pitcher, connecting at the front and going into the neck of a scaled "sea monster" whose face acts as the spout of the pitcher. The bottom is marked "I 5" inside a circular flower shaped mark that I have been unable to identify. Very unique piece.

Antique Pitcher - Attributed to Amphora

Antique pitcher with hobnail decoration on sides, fish faced figural handle with gold embellishment, and leaf motif on sides, incised "2074" on bottom, as well as a worn symbol of a crown - the crown symbol looks like a match to the Reissner, Stellmacher, & Kessel Amphora co. crown mark used from 1892 to 1910.
