It is a reproduction of the original metal case that housed the Old Treaty Seal. The impression on the front, is an image of the actual seal. It Measures : 5" diam. Civil War Forks have a bone? Handle and measure: 6. 5" long. There is a small crack on the front and back of one of the forks, and one of the prongs on it is slightly shorter. Very unique pieces.

Handwritten on the inside cover is: WM. H. Christophel III, June 18, '30 - 494; Sept 8,'30 - 498; Nov 14, '30 - 511. I am assuming those are the dates the album was put together and how many stamps were in. Most every page has several stamps on each. I would say it is about half full. It also has extras such as foreign paper money, just stuck in there, and newspaper clippings, etc...

Where to begin... This sword measures 42" Long. IT is very ornate. It has a leather and metal wrapped handle on it. Very Slightly loose, and could be easily tightened by bit of adhesive to hold hand guard in place. Hilt has a world globe with a crown on it. Hand Guard has a crown with a staff and sword through it. Sheath is metal with gold accents. Has initial PM on it. Also says Paxaut Bellun? on it with a camel? and lion. Has two ring where you could attach a chain or cord to it if desired. Has acorn on tip of sheath. The blade: Has embossing throughout. Needs to be shines to read easier, but we will leave that to new owner. No rust. Some embossing includes : Lion with designs and crown, M. H. Crawford, Mc? Gilley? Columbus, Ohio." Nice overall condition.

This Heavy Sword has a Sheath and measures Approximately: 42"L. It has several different Hallmarks on the base of the blade, as well as the hilt of the handle, possibly "B R S 3" . Along the thick shaft of the blade, it has cursive writing, difficult to discern, possibly French or Italian, "Mre. d'Ormesde Chort Aout 1879 - Cor rie ne M 1822" . The handle is leather with wire wrapped around and an elaborate brass hand guard. Sheath has minor surface rust. Blade & Sword could use a good cleaning, but overall good condition. Nice Patina.

They each have glass inserts (1 has hole in it - see photo) that are not original but appear to fit. If you intend to fill them with plants, the hole would not show. Very unique pieces indeed!

The frame is very heavy and ornate gold gilt. The painting is in very nice condition. It has small fissure cracks throughout from age, but no loss of paint. They are minor and are equally distributed creating an aged look, not at all detracting. Artists signature difficult to discern. The top Right Quadrant has a tiny scratch that is white, almost blends in, but wanted to mention anyways.

When you remove the broken piece, and set the flower into the plant, it will stay there, and loks unbroken, but I still wanted to mention, that originally the flower was taller, and we have the piece. I have a wonderful company that professionally repairs Boehm's that I would be happy to recommend to the winning bidder, if you wish to repair it. The workmanship and value of Boehm's work certainly makes it worth repairing this piece.

This great old Railroad Lantern has CRR etched onto the glass globe. It measures: 11"T x 6"W. The bottom rim of the globe that fits down into the metal rim has some small chips out of it, but it does not show when on display. The top rim of the oil holder has chips of glass missing, so the wick holder that screws down onto it does not stay attached. It is simply sitting on it. Overall condition is good. Very nice display piece.
