Originally from a family whose grandfather was a criminal prosecutor indicating it was most likely an old crime gun. Action functions however cylinder doesn't lock up correctly. Strong rifling to bore with scattered light erosion. An interesting single action that may be researchable if serial number can be located under ejector rod housing. Fine silver mounted parade saddle by Kahle & Son Lot #401 (Sale Order 100 of 502) of San Francisco California. The saddle fully floral carved with 20" tapaderos, approx. 16" seat with rope cantle binding. Square skirt, edged in red and white corona wool and mounted in nickel silver. Saddle remains in good condition dating C. 1940's. Kahle operated a saddlery in San Diego on the first floor of the Brooklyn Hotel. The hotel building has since been moved and is now a part of another hotel.

SN 162332 Lot #402 (Sale Order 101 of 502) buffalo rifle with 30" standard weight barrel, double set triggers, and factory letter showing shipment to Carlos Gove and Sons Denver CO. Dec. 18 1878. Rifle shows good untouched original condition with original fancy buck horn rear sight of the type supplied by Gove who was an outfitter for buffalo hunters and early pioneers. A very desireable Sharps rifle which was shipped to the heart of Northern buffalo hunting territory.

Left side barrel stamped .38 WCF right side rear trigger guard flat stamped with "star" indicating factory refinish. Shows thinning and loss to blue, heavier on left side, most likely from lying in a damp holster with very light scattered pin prick pitting. Right side show thinning most prevalent on ejector housing and loading gate. Hard rubber grips are intact with chip to right toe and the initials ED scratched into bottom grip strap. Revolver shows a gray drifting to brown patina to the metal with scattered areas of pin prick pitting, left side of frame having been heavily cleaned. One piece walnut grips, showing good condition with only light chip to left front toe and scattered small dings, hammer shows visible case color with light scattered erosion and in it's original rimfire configuration, original front sight intact, bore shows good with very little scattered erosion, action functioning and tight however doesn't stay on the half cocked position. Colt SAA .41 Cal. SN 214025 Lot #475 (Sale Order 174 of 502) revolver with 4 3/4" barrel, renickeled finish, stag horn grips with sterling silver eagle overlay. Tommy Worrell, the former owner, was a Hollywood stunt man and appeared in various movie with John Wayne, Rex Allen, Richard Whidmark, Gene Hackman and others. This particular revolver was used in the film "Jericho" for which Worrell was weapons master. Gun was also used in various TV commercial such as Pace Picante Sauce and George H. and George W. Bush. Included with revolver is the letter verifying the provenance of gun as well as newspaper clippings of Worrell performing gun tricks. Also includes a signed, frame poster of the 50th anniversary San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. Very smooth action with fair bore. Manufactured 1902, FFL required.

Revolver retains 40-50% original nickel finish, remainder a gray to brown finish with scattered light pin prick pitting. Original walnut grips intact, right side shows repair, action functioning but with broken trigger spring, rough bore. The shirt is decorated in beaded stitched panels of geometric designs, fringed at the sleeve and bottom edges, the neck trimmed with green wool trade cloth and tin cone dangles with horse hair drops. The shirt was crafted by Dawn Yellow Bank from the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska, now in South Dakota. Dawn is a single parent with two daughters who also do beadwork and one grandson that she is very proud of. Dawns work also includes possible bags, beaded robes and other items.

Rifle refinished and restored having belonged to Edmond "Ebb" Stanton Tarr. Ebb portrayed Buffalo Bill Cody for many years and became the city of Cody Wyoming's official "Buffalo Bill" and grand marshal of the cities parades. This is the rifle used by Ebb "Buffalo Bill" in his portrayals and reenactments. Includes photos of Ebb and information on his achievements. Originally sold at the Deadwood action last year and re consigned for this years auction. A nicely restored and engraved 1894 with interesting history. FFL required.

Winchester Model 1886.444M Cal. SN 9792 Lot #791 (Sale Order 502 of 502) with a 25" octagon barrel and half mag. take down rifle with shotgun butt. Rifle having been converted the shortened barrel with 60-70% blue with scattered pin prick pitting, receiver with 20-30% original blue, surface erosion and gray patina. Walnut stocks with rear stock fully fitted and most likely a replacement. Upper tang has been drilled and tapped for peep sight, fore stock shows replaced end cap. Good action with very good bore. An excellent restoration candidate. Manufactured 1895, NO FFL required.
