2000 Honda VT1100C3

Lot #104 (Sale Order 23 of 99)

2000 Honda Shadow Aero VT1100C3 **** 10,800 Original Miles **** Brochure Bike **** From Private Collection **** Final Production Year **** This is the one Harley Davidson sued Honda for being "TOO HARLEY" often referred to as the "Potato Suit", limiting it's production to only 3 years. (98,99 & 2000) Honda then decided to replace their first "Single Pin Crankshaft Engine" (like Harley)  with a dual or two place crank in 2001 and forgo the suit. The "AERO c3"  was the only model offered with this engine, while the ACE, Tourer, Sprint and Saber, all 1100s, were Dual Pin offerings. This one being of the last year of production, is sure to hold it's position in history for perpetuity. In fact, Wikipedia states "One of the markets fastest appreciating Japanese bikes, with fine examples bringing in excess of MSRP ($ 9,699.00) at auction."  You'll be hard pressed to find another in this condition.  With it's single pin crank engine and Vance and Hinds "Straight Shot" exhaust she serves up that distinctive rumbling rhythm and all the power you'll need with unmatched Honda reliability. First Honda produced with factory floorboards. 900 (avg.) Miles per Year. 1099 cc V twin. Liquid Cooled. Shaft Drive. Chrome details Radiator and Taillight. Memphis Shade low shield. New Viking bags (not pictured). Super clean, straight bike never down. Truly an investment quality bike.

2011 Yamaha Star Stryker Motorcycle

Lot #106 (Sale Order 25 of 99)

YES ONLY THREE ORIGINAL MILES! It’s time to take advantage of the upcoming summer season and get this as-new motorcycle for thousands less than retail from a dealership! My sister-in law bought this 2011 Yamaha XVS1300 Stryker brand new from Bob Lanphere’s Renton Motorcycles in September 2011 for over $15,000 after buying the extended warranty and special tires. It was delivered to her house in November 2011, as she planned to ride it in the summer of 2012, in January of 2012, she tore her achilles tendon and was unable to ride her brand new bike well into 2014. In 2014 she fell and broke her wrist and gave up on riding a motorcycle all-together, she never got to ride her Stryker… My sister in-law has tasked me with finding a home for her bike which now has a whopping 3 (YES, THREE) miles on it after I rode it up and down the street in front of her house before loading it on the trailer. It was stored in a climate controlled garage on stands, hooked up to a battery tender, and regularly started and ran to keep fluids flowing.

1969 Donzi Ski Sporter 16’ Boat

Lot #108 (Sale Order 27 of 99)

Attention speed enthusiasts and collectors!  If you already own a mid to late 60’s top 10 muscle car like a 1963 to 1967 shelby cobra roadster or a 1963 to 1967 corvette stingray, imagine how heart stopping and cool it would be if you could add this 1967 Donzi Ski Sporter “sweet 16” to your collection. Here is a rare opportunity to own the best of the best!  Over $40,000 in receipts spent on the professional restoration of this excellent piece of mid to late 60’s high tech nostalgic design,  performance and attitude. This boat was built for high speed performance and durability. the gross weight is only 1500  pounds and speeds of 70 + miles per hour were easily achieved from the design of the deep-vee hull with 24 degrees of transom deadrise and a pair of lifting strakes on each side of centerline. the boats underwater shape contributes to its stability as does the ample beam of 7 feet and the wide transom. These boats were sold with the company promise of “the softest riding, driest high speed sport boat ever built.” 100% correct original Holman & Moody 289 v8 engine. v-drive final drive and propeller. Restored custom Donzi trailer is included. The Donzi Ski Sporter was born on Miami’s “Thunderboat Row” in 1964. This was the time that the pioneers of wild and wooly performance were turning out revolutionary fiberglass boats. The 16-footer with the racy lines and bold stripe was designed by Jim Wynne and it was raced by no less a personage than Mr. Don Aronow. (who in the high performance boating industry is the equivalent to Mr. Carrol Shelby). 40k documented reciepts.

1980 MG MGB 1980 MG MGB

1980 MG MGB

Lot #115 (Sale Order 31 of 99)

1980 MG MGB Roadster - Recent Updates, Great Condition. 111,695 Miles.1.8 L B-Series I4 with a four-speed manual gearbox and electronic overdrive. Oversize wheels and tires. Panasonic CD am/fm sound with Bose speakers. Recent part replacement. 2016 - Upgraded carb, intake and header. 2018 - New starter and ring gear.2018 - New rear seal. 2018 - New seats, door panels and floor mats. 2019 - New fuel pump and battery. Produced from 1962 until 1980, the MGB roadster was a pure two-seater sportscar featuring a 1.8 L 4-cylinder mated to a 4-speed automatic. Although producing only 92 hp, its curb weight of just over 2,000 lbs made it significantly lighter than the average American sports car of its time, which had wide appeal for someone seeking a peppy, superbly handling and reliable mode of transport. Indeed, the MGB and its variants were a global success story, selling well over half a million units, 300,000 in the US alone, before British Leyland closed the factory in Abingdon in 1980, ending production. This lovely example is from the series? last model year and is equipped with convertible soft top. It has been subject to an expert mechanical inspection and features recent updates to bring the vehicle back to life. This is, in many ways, a time-capsule car. There are some minor aesthetic shortcomings not atypical of a car of its age. A small section of dashboard is cracked in an inconspicuous area on the passenger side. A 3-inch section of fabric is ripped where the convertible top meets the driver's side window, near the A-pillar. This does not affect the integrity of the roof itself and should be an easy repair. The passenger side mirror is missing, as is a single clip holding a corner of the soft-top to the body. Sold to settle an estate. Extremely fun, dependable sports car priced to sell. Located in Washington

1966 Chevrolet C-10 Panel Truck NO RESERVE

Lot #118 (Sale Order 34 of 99)

What I have is a 1966 Chevy C-10 Panel Truck that is a lot of fun to get out in! I have taken it to several shows over the last few years, mostly locals but it also made it to the Goodguys show in Puyallup a couple years in a row. It has always drawn attention. It has a Chevy 350cid with an Automatic Transmission. It starts when you hit the key (&push the start button), stops when you step on the brake pedal and goes when you step on the gas. Newer Holley carb. Carpet inside is pretty clean. The floor in the rear is all original wood and is neat. Currently has no headliner. Front (comfy) seats have DOT approved seatbelts. Back bench seat has been used for bags or a cooler when going out for the day. (No seatbelts on back bench seat.) Paint is a really cool color, but is by no means perfect. There are chips here and there and some areas have some cracking/bubbling such as the roof. The rear quarter panel was dented a while back, dent was pulled and bondo’d over then primered. Engine and trans runs/goes just fine, but could use a tune up if you plan to drive it a long distance. (Heater core was disconnected when I purchased it, unknown if it leaks.) Just installed a Pertronix Ignition in it.  Has a new water pump, coolant hoses, coolant and brake shoes/wheel cylinders/hardware/hoses were all done and have seen less than 60miles since those components were replaced.INCLUDED is a Dual Reservoir Master Cylinder conversion kit to turn the single reservoir to a Dual, making it safer to drive for road trips. It’s brand new in the original box, Chrome and comes with the proper special adapter for the firewall this truck requires.

Minor wear from road use on wheel wells. This is the greatest color for these cars that evoke the look of the original T-Bird of 1955 to 1957. The owner has driven this car locally around town once or twice a week on clear days and it drives like a dream...no mechanical issues at all...had it at my mechanics shop just for a generic inspection and he found it to be exceptionally clean and well maintained...He did inform me that it would need an Oxygen Censor, which has since been replaced with a new one (receipt in hand)...also, he mentioned it would need an oil pan gasket. To my knowledge, the car is 'numbers matching' and mileage is believed to be actual. The car speaks for itself and is a fine, elegant example of an original unmolested survivor.I purchased this beautiful original survivor from the original owner. Beautiful original condition. 4.5L V8.42000 original miles. Sunroof and all power options with air conditioning. Immaculate light blue original leather interior. Equally impressive black sapphire (midnight blue) original exterior. This has been a well maintained and pampered garage kept one owner Cadillac all its life. Low miles and driven with care. Always stored in a climate-controlled environment. Never driven in winter or harsh weather. A true testament and time capsule to how old schoolers cared for their cars. Original owner’s manual included. Comes with both sets of keys and official Cadillac gold set of keys still in the original packaging and original documents from new including original dealership window sticker. Classic and traditional 'floating' Cadillac ride... still retains its factory fragrance... A TESTIMENT TO THE PHRASE,  'THEY'RE ONLY ORIGINAL ONCE'...IMMACULATE ORIGINAL INTERIOR

Lot #129 (Sale Order 45 of 99)

Fabulous solid example with a spectacular interior. Recent mechanical refreshening. Runs well. Over $20,000 spent in current receipts. Rare Webasto sunroof. Owned and maintained by an officer in the Navy. Purchased in Britain and brought here about 20 years ago. This Silver Cloud II was the first factory produced Rolls with a V-8 that was designed to be driven by the owner. All previous models were designed for the owner to sit in the back, leaving the driver’s compartment a bit stuffy and sometimes open to the elements! The Cloud series was truly made for the well healed owner to operate and enjoy. Fabulous styling made these cars an over night success. The early Cloud I’s had a 6 cylinder. The later Cloud II’s had dual headlights. Just like the three bears and Goldilocks, the Cloud II featured single headlights svelte grace and the stoic deliberate power and strength of the refined V-8 coupled to a GM hydraulic  gearbox. The result Goldilocks? The Cloud II was (is) just right!!!

Lot #133 (Sale Order 49 of 99)

VIN#: 1R12172-4.2 L XK I6 with a 4 speed manual transmission. This vehicle is an older restoration. The paint was probably completed sometime back in the 80's. After a good buff the paint is still in seemingly good condition. The body is in good condition with no signs of impact or rust. The vehicle has complete been gone through mechanically. Extensive recording of the work including some documentation is included.Dashboard- Repaired speedometer, lubricated and adjusted tachometer, replaced heater control lever and choke mechanism. Repaired wiring on turn signal and hazard light system.Floor- Removed old carpet and treated all areas.ÿSeats- Repaired, cleaned and adjusted all seat mechanisms.ÿTop- Repaired mechanical attachment to car.Trunk- Repaired latch.Lights- Replaced all light bulbs and cleaned connections. Adjusted major cable plug to hood.Engine- Cleaned and replaced needle valve and gaskets on carburetors. Replaced damaged fuel hoses. Cleaned and flushed fuel filter and added additional filter. Rewired ignition system. Replaced oil pressure sender and spark plugs. Repaired sheet metal around engine compartment.ÿBrake system- Replaced the master brake cylinder and boaster. The clutch slave cylinder was replaced and ÿrepaired heater control valve. Built battery hold down brackets. Rewired brake fluid reservoirs.Overall, the electrical system was inspected and sorted out as needed. The fuel was replaced, the crankcase oil and filter changed and the hydraulic system flushed. It starts with ease. Every single electrical item was inspected, all of the switches now work, the lights, everything was cleaned and made safe.ÿHistory: Long time residents, owners of the best Pizza Deli's in the Valley, have enjoyed the car hobby for decades here in Southern Oregon. The XKE was purchased in the 80's from a repair shop in Ashland, Oregon for an outstanding repair bill, long before Jaguars were thought of as collectable with value. According to the story, it was a random conversation on an airplane flight that led to finding the Jag. Soon after, it was brought home in boxes as a long term project.Over the years, the previous owner worked on the car with help from local shops and suppliers. Paint was applied most likely in the late 80?s and the car was enjoyed all of these years, mostly locally with a couple of longer trips at the beginning of its stewardship. There are no records of any work done at the time and the one that would know most passed about five years ago.The car had not been driven much the past fifteen years, mostly brought out for parades and the such. The normal course of events was the car starting the event under its own power but brought back on a trailer by the end of the day for one electrical gremlin or another. Finally it was parked and started on occasion, the last time about 2010.

1923 Maxwell Model 25 Touring

Lot #144 (Sale Order 59 of 99)

CHASSIS NO: 453125• Used on set by famed Hollywood entertainer Jack Benny• Mostly original example• Voted a Top 50 TV Car of All Time• Accompanied by photos of Jack Benny and chauffeur, Eddie ‘Rochester’ Anderson. Inline four-cylinder engine, 30 HP, three-speed manual transmission, front and rear solid axles with semi-elliptic leaf-spring suspension, rear-wheel drum brakes; wheelbase: 109”In 1903, Jonathan Maxwell approached Benjamin Briscoe and J.P. Morgan to provide financial backing for his company. Once the funding was secured, the first Maxwells came cruising onto the market in 1904. Just seven years after selling their first automobile to the public, the Maxwell Motor Company saw its sales grow to over 20,000 cars annually. This milestone landed them as the third largest producer of automobiles, trailing only GM and Ford at the time. Maxwell automobiles not only had a classy look and feel to them, but they were also considered to be some of the best endurance machines of their era. In 1916, a Maxwell touring car set a world record for the fastest coast-to-coast time, traveling from New Jersey to California in just ten days and sixteen hours. The Maxwell Motor Company gradually ceased operations in 1925, and the firm was acquired by Jonathan's good friend, Walter P. Chrysler of the Chrysler Corporation. Maxwell's legacy was kept alive, predominantly due to one man - Benjamin Kubelsky, better known as Jack Benny. Jack Benny was an American comedian, successful radio host, television, and film actor on NBC and CBS. One of Benny’s personal cars was a 1923 Maxwell, and he was often seen driving it through town. When “The Jack Benny Hour” made the transition from radio to television in 1950, Benny’s love for Maxwells truly showed, as he made sure a 1923 Maxwell Tourer, like the one he owned, was to be used as a prop.According to Worldwide this 1923 Maxwell Touring that was used on screen on “The Jack Benny Hour”. Often seen being driven by Benny’s chauffeur on the show, Eddie ‘Rochester’ Anderson, the automobile remains in largely original form. This Tourer features its original black leather upholstery and disc wheels. The current, as well as previous owners, first and foremost wanted to cosmetically preserve the car while still tending to mechanical needs. The dashboard houses original gauges and the odometer reads just under 60,000 miles, although true mileage cannot be confirmed. The original inline four-cylinder engine still starts up with the turn of a key. Backing up the engine is the three-speed manual transmission which shifts through the gears with no catches.Rod Authority, a popular online car magazine and forum ranked the top 50 TV Cars of All Time and, included on that exclusive list, was this 1923 Maxwell Touring. Jack Benny entertained millions on the radio and television and helped keep the Maxwell Motor Corporation name alive and well. Few Maxwells remain today, and those that surface command appropriate prices for the treasures they truly are.

One of reportedly 409 cars built with the 2.3 liter V-6. While these cars suffer from rust issues this car is extremely original and largely rust free. The headliner will need replacing as it is bad along with the visors. The carpets are tired and original the seats in the car are actually from a Jaguar XJ6 and very nice but not original, the original seats will be included in the sale but will need new foam and re upholstery. The car was originally Blue and has been repainted  a very pleasant seafoam green metallic, looks great but not correct. The previous owner changed out the center section of the grille and put a Jaguar cat in the center which of course is not correct. The wheels were originally steel bolt on wheels with hub caps but the previous owner had a set of Jaguar hubs and wire wheels installed on the car, again while they look great they are not correct. The car runs and drives well, but has had no real work done to it for some years, not a scratchy synchronizer in the gearbox which shifts beautifully.

The Mercedes Benz was owned by a lady who was a friend of Bob's. She drove the car daily and eventually offloaded it onto us where we restored it, tuned the engine, and redid the interior. It has a 4.5 litre V8 engine with a 3-speed automatic transmission. The car has lived the last 10 years in a garage and is driven semi-frequently. It is well loved, cleaned often, and taken great care of. It's had maybe 1000 miles put on it with regular maintenance occurring.

2001 Ferrari Modena 360 F1 2001 Ferrari Modena 360 F1

2001 Ferrari Modena 360 F1

Lot #152 (Sale Order 67 of 99)

Ferrari replaced its F355 in 1999 with the aluminum-bodied and curvaceous 360 Modena coupe. Two years later, in 2001, a Spider version debuted. As promised, the Ferrari 360 offered a commensurate leap in performance over the F355 due to extensive use of aluminum throughout, as well as, a new 3.6-liter V-8 engine that produced 400 horsepower. A paddle, F-1 type 6-speed transmission became an option in 2000, joining the standard 6-speed manual unit. The car was capable of a 4.3 second 0-60 time. This particular Ferrari was purchased by a Canadian from Vancouver BC, who serviced it under warranty in 2002 and 2003 at Ferrari & Maserati of San Diego CA. It is assumed that the car was originally purchased in San Diego CA because the original bill of Sale is in a Ferrari of San Diego envelope and then eventually imported to Vancouver BC Canada through Brian Jessel Ferrari. The original owner kept the car until November 2019 until it was passed to the second owner. The second owner traded the car to The Company of Cars in March 2020. I always like the style of the 360 Modena and actually have a photograph of me sitting in a red 360 Modena at the Monterey Historics. I feel in love with the Grigio Alloy (silver-blue) color and vanilla interior. Very rare. You normally see black interiors. The car was in excellent condition for its year and paint is almost flawless. You have to look very carefully to see anything.I was happy to see that the recommended maintenance was done at Ferrari of Vancouver and Company of Cars (copies provided). Fresh tires were put on the car when I purchased it. The car was imported through Sweetwater MT back to my home after the speedometer was reconfigured to meet NTSA standards. Since the car was built to Ferrari of North America standards it meets all emission and EPA requirements. Why would I sell my dream car? Well, I am 6’5” tall and find the cockpit cramped. Reluctantly I need to sell it and purchase a car with more headroom. Probably a fast sedan. It has all the original books, tool kit, tire inflator, flask light and records which will be given to the successful buyer.I will help the successful buyer with finding the right delivery trucking company, as I would only trust a few. Simpson Design Swift Simpson Design Swift

Simpson Design Swift

Lot #154 (Sale Order 69 of 99)

The Swift project started about 4 years ago. I have been a big fan of the Michelotti designed Lotus XI that was ultimately built by Ghia Aigile of Switzerland, so much so I decided to scratch build a 1/24 scale model of the car for my model collection. In making the model I renewed my general fascination for the design, so much so I posted some pics of the model on Facebook in some of the car groups I belong to. A 3D programmer friend of mine, Dan Palatnik, who lives in Brazil, saw the model pics and sent me an email, offering to do a virtual model of the car for me, should I get serous about building one. On a lark I sent some pictures to my best overseas client, who, without hesitation, said, “Yes, I would like one - could you build it for me, please? A few emails back and forth confirmed that he was quite serious, and the project began. I made a second model and sent it to Dan, who immediately set about creating the preliminary drawings, which we then modified to give us a uniquely Simpson design. I then contracted with Dan to make a 3d station buck model. Enter another gotod friend of mine, Raffi Minassian, another profession automotive designer and also an Industrial arts professor in San Fransisco, who took Dan’s 3D renders and had them wood laser cut for us. This let us build a 1/5 scale model to make sure the buck would work. Raffi and I spent a fun day assembling the 1/5 scale model. Raffi, JR and I later assembled a full sized water jet cut plywood buck also created from Dan’s 3D program. Never having done a full sized body this way, it was an interesting learning curve. In the end, I decided that skinning the wooden buck in steel was the answer. Once I had that done, I contacted the guys over Sunbacker Fiberglass in Monroe WA. We’ve used them for years and they produced a set of working tooling for us to lay up a composite body and interior tub. In the meantime I scratch built a chassis in mild steel, designed to use the subframes and driveline from a second generation Mazda Miata, except shortened by 2 inches, giving us an 88“ wheel base. On completion, we took it over to Sunbacker on the trailer, fitted it to the first body Sunbacker had made - amazing, he two actually fit together - and we proceeded to bring the whole lot back to the shop for additional development. I kept looking at the windshield opening. In some way it was familiar. I called up my glass supplier and asked him if he could get me engineering drawings and specs on a 58-62 Corvette windscreen. He laughed and said, “I can more easily get you a windshield tomorrow.” So I ordered a glass, which arrived the next day as advertised, and much to my amazement was within a quarter inch of fitting, proving that every now and then an old dog gets lucky. We decided that the windshield would be attached in a trough below the cowl, and affixed with Butyl Rubber in the same as most modern windshields. We had a custom rubber extrusion made to trim out the top edge and an alloy channel made to go over the rubber extrusion to trim it all out. On with more parts development - before long I had created a dashboard and underwood side panels in steel to be reproduced in fiberglass. The guys over in Monroe were as always ready to help, and we also made a trough for the windscreen to sit down into the cowl, giving us a way to attach it to the car. Next we needed to make doors, hood and trunk lid inner to be made along with molds for inner parts. A few weeks later all this and molds had been created. I decided to utilize as many parts from the Mazda Miata as possible so hood hinges and door hinges were modified to work with the car. Fuel tank and delivery became another challenge, so we had an alloy fuel tank made. I took the fuel sender and pump assembly from a Miata tank and modified them to work in the new aluminum tank. Not wanting to recreate some of the explosive disasters of car maker history, we moved the tank from just above the rear subframe into the trunk just behind the rear seat bulkhead. This would be fitted out with one of the Cobra style competition fuel fillers on the rear cowl just in front of the trunk lid. We stripped the wiring out of the Miata donor car and heavily modified it. Our client would want the electronic fuel injection and instrumentation as well as switch assemblies. I wanted to keep the wire wheels as a period nod to the Lotus street cars of the day even though we were not making a replica, and after purchasing numerous Dunlop wire wheel hubs, I was finally able to arrive at one we could lightly machine to work on the car, giving it that vintage British look. All assembled, the car looked great overall but there was something missing - it needed distinctive badging. Chuck Simpson develop badging for the car, which we had manufactured. The front and side emblems are very old school in that they are chromed steel with cloisonne (colored glass melted into the reliefs). The interior was trimmed out in leatherette and carpe

Significant mechanical restoration with $16,000 in billing. Needs paint and finishing. Rare model of the "James Bond" era. Very few survived.Three door coupe body type. RWD. Manual 5-speed gearbox. The Lotus Elite name has been used for two production vehicles and one concept vehicle developed and manufactured by British automobile manufacturer Lotus Cars. The first generation Elite Type 14 was produced from 1957 to 1963 and the second generation model from 1974 to 1982. The Elite name was also applied to a concept vehicle unveiled in 2010.ÿFrom 1974 to 1982, Lotus produced the considerably larger four-seat Type 75 and later Type 83 Elite. With this design Lotus sought to position itself upmarket and move away from its kit-car past. The Elite was announced in May 1974. It replaced the ageing Lotus Elan Plus 2. The Elite has a shooting brake body style, with a glass rear hatch opening into the luggage compartment. The Elite's fiberglass bodyshell was mounted on a steel backbone chassis evolved from the Elan and Europa. It had 4-wheel independent suspension using coil springs. The Elite was the first Lotus automobile to use the aluminum-block 4-valve, DOHC, four-cylinder Type 907 engine that displaced 1,973 cc. The Elite was fitted with a 4 or 5-speed manual transmission depending on the customer specifications. Beginning in January 1976, an automatic transmission was optional.ÿThe Elite had a claimed drag co-efficient of 0.30 and at the time of launch, it was the world's most expensive four-cylinder car. The Elite's striking shape was designed by Oliver Winterbottom. He is quoted as saying that the basic chassis and suspension layout were designed by Colin Chapman, making the Elite and its sister design the Eclat the last Lotus road cars to have significant design input from Chapman himself.

He had intended to restore it but a move to Arizona persuaded him to sell. 2.8 L M130 I6 engine with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The car has had the fuel tank replaced, a new fuel pump installed, the fuel lines and injectors flushed. Before starting the engine, a compression check revealed 125 psig per cylinder. New front brakes, rotors, pads and a new master cylinder were installed. Rear brakes were fine and just needed to be bled. The rear spring set was replaced as an incorrect spring had been installed which gave the car too much rear positive camber. Front idler arms were replaced and the car aligned correctly. Next the electrical system was gone through, electric door switches replaced and motor mechanisms adjusted so all the electric windows functioned correctly. The original radio was sent back to New York to Becker Audio who rebuilt the radio and a new speaker was installed. Head light switches, wipers and turns signals were checked to be sure they were all functional. New horns were installed. New interior carpeting was installed and new MB Tex seats installed if the old seat was damaged. The wood trim along the dash to front window was sent to Madera Concepts in Santa Barbara for restoration. Finally, the car was re-painted to the original German Grau-Blau (Gray-Blue) and the exterior chrome polished with a kit from Mercedes to bring back its luster. The car has been brought back to a good driver, a car the new owner could enjoy driving, without getting too upside down on costs. It could be taken further if the new owner wishes or kept as it and enjoyed.
