Defunct closed out of business Chicken Inn Restaurants cards. You can read the full name of the three restaurants on each trick card. Guess which card is bigger but your eyes will play tricks on you as both are the same size. Both cards measure the same 4 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/8 inch wide. When you lay them side by side one seems bigger than the other but put them on top of one another and they are the same size. Nice collectible lot! New unused condition.

The front of the menu shows a black Lady smiling holding a large platter of Barbecued Ribs! Below the Lady with a red polka dot dress and kerchief is the words "Old Dixie Southern Barbecue Savannah Georgia River & Bay St.". The menu measures just over 9 1/2 inches tall and 4 3/4 inches wide. On the back of the menu it shows the Cocktails and Mixed Drinks list with a Hot Tom And Jerry only 35 cents. The two inside pages have some great Barbecue Dinners along with the cheap prices! Sweet Potato Pie Or Green Apple Pie 10 cents. The menu does have printed on one of the inside pages "Buy Defense Bonds And Stamps" so the menu date's back during the World War. Some light age browning around the edges as pictured but nice condition overall.

Lot Of 4 Coon Chicken Inn Restaurant Bread & Dinner Plates Syracuse China Black Americana Lot #9 (Sale Order 9 of 50) You get all the plates pictured in this lot! This restaurant had three locations at one time back in the earlier to middle 1900's. One location was in Portland Oregon, one in Seattle Washington and one in Salt Lake City Utah. The restaurants went out of business in the late 1950's or early 1960's. All the pieces of dinner ware are marked on the back "O.P.CO. Syracuse China P-3" The larger plate measures 9 inches wide and the smaller plate measures about 8 inches in diameter. You get four plates total and they are in good condition with only some light wear but no cracks or chips. One does have a stain that can probably be cleaned off as pictured.
