The scrolled metal beds have high canopy tops with elaborate embroidered and lace-trimmed covers that match the covers and pillows on the beds. Included is a bisque miniature doll with brown glass eyes and closed mouth, composition body, wearing a black silk gown with gold coronet cap, and extended length black velvet train edged with gold thread. Also included are two miniature cardboard "luggage" pieces with travel labels, originally presented as candy boxes. Excellent condition. Early 1900s.

The scrolled back wooden sofa with ebony finish decorated with gilt stenciled designs is fitted with padded rose silk upholstery and gold bead edging, and has original marbled paper cover at the back side. Included are two bisque dollhouse dolls, lady and gentleman, with sculpted hair and painted facial features, muslin body, bisque lower limbs, he with factory original costume and sculpted moustache. Excellent condition, lady's gown is a bit frail. Germany, circa 1890.

The parlor set with wooden legs and base features a curved back sofa, two matching covered-back arm chairs, three side chairs and a footstool, each with original striped ivory/red silk padded upholstery trimmed with ivory fringed and striped cording. Along with a bisque shoulderhead dollhouse doll with brown glass eyes, closed mouth, original brunette mohair wig with ringlet curls, muslin body, bisque lower limbs, in rose silk day dress, marked SH 1160 Germany. Stove is excellent, doll has an old firing line on face that may be original.

23" x 12" x 10". With painted finish to simulate wood, scalloped-design edging and "burled" panels, the store has original wall and floor papers, and if fitted with open shelves and six spice drawers with silver banner labels and porcelain knobs. At one side is a partitioned office with hinged gate, and glass front window furnished with office desk, cast iron scale with brass trays, wooden barrel with ebony knob, and chair. Good condition with original finish and papers that are quite worn, one glass missing on front. Germany, circa 1900, Christian Hacker, the actual shop is shown in Kohler's book, Christian Hacker, page 181.

11" x 19" x 12". The lithographed metal dollhouse is styled in the Pennsylvania manner with stone construction and large multi-paned shuttered windows, shingled room and chimney and with five interior rooms including nursery with nursery rhyme scenes on the tin walls, and lithographed curtains in other rooms. There is an interesting inset panel high on the side roof "1766 Locust Year". The house is by Playsteel, 1946. The house is very full of more than 40 Ideal plastic furnishings comprising nursery pieces, bathroom, bedroom, living/dining room and kitchen, most pieces signed, 1940s/1950s. Especially fine condition of both house and furnishings.
