WELCOME TO THE AUCTION

Lot #1 (Sale Order 1 of 608)

Just to Reiterate from our terms and conditions: I do my best to estimate the grade/condition of the coins, but please note, unless specifically mentioned in the description, I do not guarantee grade or condition. I DO ALWAYS GUARANTEE 100% AUTHENTICITY, on an immediate buyback including any premium paid. But please understand, if you win a coin and receive it and send it out to one of the grading companies and it comes back graded less than I estimated or "genuine but Ungradeable", we will not buy back that coin. No refunds will be issued. Please understand this and look at the large pictures and make your own decision on the grade/condition. I do my best to give you my best estimate and your repeat attendance at my auctions is what I strive for, so I always attempt to give my best description/estimate of the coins being auctioned.

1870's US Fractional Currency 10¢ Fourth Issue Fr-1258 Grades vf details

Lot #21 (Sale Order 20 of 608)

1870's US Fractional Currency 10¢ Fourth Issue Fr-1258 Grades vf details. Fractional or postage currency has a rich history. At the beginning of the Civil War people starting hoarding coins for their precious metal content. Coins became difficult to find because of the hoarding. People started to try to use stamps instead of coins as a means of commerce. The government decided to help ease the hoarding issue by issuing “paper coins” also known as postage currency or fractional currency. Fractional currency was first issued on August 21, 1862 and they were last issued on February 15, 1876. Three cents, five cents, ten cents, twenty-five cents, and fifty cents notes were all issued. Fractional currency is physically smaller than other United States money. It also does not have a serial number. William Meredith is pictured on the front.

1936 Bridgeport Old Commem Half Dollar 50c Grades Choice+ Unc

Lot #76 (Sale Order 50 of 608)

1936 Bridgeport Old Commem Half Dollar 50c Grades Choice+ Unc. The Bridgeport Commemorative bears the depiction of P.T. Barnum on the Obverse, having made his home in Bridgeport. Barnum was the Mayor of Bridgeport during his life. The city of Bridgeport created this coin to celebrate its centennial, but The city had actually been around since the 1600's as a major manufacturing and port city, but it was not officially incorporated until 1836. An odd Commemorative to say the least. When examining a Bridgeport, the first place to look for wear is Barnum’s cheek and the eagle’s wing.

Lot #99 (Sale Order 64 of 608)

$100 Confederate bill, 1864 Lucy Holcombe Pickens, the Queen of the Confederacy T-65 Grades vf, very fine. Lucy Holcombe Pickens (1832–1899), known as the “Queen of the Confederacy,” is the only woman to be featured on currency issued by a Confederate state. Pickens was born on her family’s planation in La Grange, Tennessee. She attended La Grange Female Academy and, at the age of 14 with her older sister, Anna Eliza, began attending school at the Moravian Seminary for Young Ladies in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Her family moved to Marshall, Texas in 1848, and their new home, Wyalucing Plantation, was built with enslaved labor between 1848–1850. In the years that followed, the family remained staunch supporters of slavery and southern politics. Lucy seems to have been well-traveled for a young woman of the mid-19th century, and on trips throughout the south she met her future husband, Senator Francis Wilkinson Pickens. Senator Pickens was a South Carolina native, two-time widower, and the son of a former governor. He and Lucy married at Wyalucing on April 26, 1858.That same year, with Lucy's support, Pickens was appointed United States ambassador to Russia. The family moved oversees where Lucy became a favorite of Czar Alexander II and Czarina Maria Alexandrovna. Prior to the start of the Civil War, Pickens resigned his post, and he and Lucy returned to South Carolina. Lucy became known as the “Queen of the Confederacy” after her husband was elected Governor of South Carolina in 1860. Long admired for her beauty and financial support of the Confederacy, Lucy was featured on four different Confederate bills during the Civil War. She supported the Confederate cause by selling jewels given to her in Russia, an endeavor that helped outfit the Confederate Army unit named after her — the Lucy Holcombe Legion. This particular style of bill was issued two years after her husband left office, a testimony to her continuing popularity. It would take more than 152 years for the U.S. Treasury to prominently feature women on currency notes. On April 20, 2016, the Treasury announced that Harriet Tubman, leading abolitionist, humanitarian, and an armed scout and spy for the U.S. Army during the Civil War, would replace Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill beginning in 2020. The reverse of the $10 bill will also pay tribute in 2020 to the 1913 historic march for suffrage that ended at the steps of the Treasury building. Images of Lucretia Mott, Sojourner Truth, Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Alice Paul will be featured. The reverse of the new $5 bill will honor people and events at the Lincoln Memorial that helped shape U.S. history including opera singer Marian Anderson and First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt.

1899 "Black Eagle" $1 Silver Certificate FR-236 Speelman-White Grades vf+

Lot #108 (Sale Order 70 of 608)

1899 "Black Eagle" $1 Silver Certificate FR-236 Speelman-White Grades vf+. Ranked #16 in the 100 Greatest American Currency Notes, the Series 1899 Black Eagle note is from an era when paper money was backed by precious silver, as the issue bears the statement ONE SILVER DOLLAR PAYABLE TO THE BEARER ON DEMAND. It doesn’t take much work to figure out the nickname of the 1899 $1 silver certificate. A quick glance shows three vignettes, an eagle, Ulysses S Grant, and Abraham Lincoln. Somewhere along the way the collecting world decided that this note should be called a “black eagle.” The name has stuck. Whether you have been collected for a week or your entire life, you certainly know what a black eagle is. Grant and Lincoln often get overlooked. That might be for the best since both men are closely associated with several other large size pieces of currency. There are 12 Different Signatures combinations For this Type of note this one is FR# 236

This Issue is Often Found Not Fully Struck, the Highpoints of its Design looking Grainy as the result of Planchet’s Natural Texture still being in evidence. By Not Filling the Dies, this Texture was left intact. Areas in which to look for weakness are Liberty’s Head and Her Thigh, near the Motto 'E PLURIBUS UNUM'. Wear, if any, will First Appear on the Senator’s Hair Above His Ear, also on Liberty’s Head and Chest.

High quality for this prized overdate issue, with champagne toning on both sides combined with lighter silver on the lightly worn devices, providing high eye appeal. Lots of luster remains in the protected areas. The overdate feature is bold. This is the BB-231 variety, Narrow Date, scarce Blender Variety R-4, BowersDie State II, with the clash by Liberty’s throat and the full transfer of the star behind the head. This overdate issue is quite rare in full Mint State, and typically found in VF. When found this well preserved and attractive, expect competition from other knowledgeable collectors.

Lot #144 (Sale Order 96 of 608)

***Auction Highlight*** 1889-p Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms67+ By SEGS. The 1889 Morgan dollar is plentiful through MS65, and the population thins only marginally in MS66. However, Superb Gems are major condition rarities. No Proof like or Deep Mirror Proof like pieces are reported this fine, and non-Proof like pieces are of the utmost rarity, highly sought-after by advanced collectors. We have handled a coin in this grade on only one previous occasion. The present ms67+ example displays frosty, vibrant mint luster and a bold strike. The coin is nearly flawless. I have included two ms67s for your comparison. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

***Auction Highlight*** 1786 NJ Maris 24-p Colonial Cent 1c Graded au55 By SEGS. An absolutely delightful New Jersey for both the type collector and the specialist. The surfaces are nicely composed and deliver strong eye appeal. The strike slightly off center to 2:00. Nice definition throughout. The diagnostic crumbling under the first reverse star is nearly a full cud, indicating a late stage of Die State 2. Toned in a marbling of mahogany and chocolate-brown hues. The lines in the lower shield attest to the au grade. The Condition Census for Maris 24-P runs from UNC through EF+, emphasizing the significance of this lovely au55. I have included an au53 and au55 for your comparison, both are Maris 24-P

***Auction Highlight*** 1894-o Morgan Dollar $1 Graded Select Unc By USCG. Up for Auction is a Key Date 1894-o. Silvery and untoned over minimally abraded surfaces, this appealing coin is worthy of a strong bid. A true condition rarity among Morgan dollars, the 1894-O is readily obtainable in worn condition yet scarce to rare in all Mint State grades. When we further consider that most Uncirculated survivors of this 1,723,000-piece issue are poorly struck with inferior luster, the present offering is sure to catch the eye of the discerning Morgan dollar collector.

***Auction Highlight*** 1862 $2 Legal Tender Note "Greenback" Alexander Hamilton FR-41 Grades vf++ (

Lot #148 (Sale Order 100 of 608)

***Auction Highlight*** 1862 $2 Legal Tender Note "Greenback" Alexander Hamilton FR-41 Grades vf++. The first $2 bills are Legal Tender Notes, part of the "greenback" issues launched in 1862. The face, back, and tint plates for the $2 Series of 1862 Legal Tender Notes were engraved by the National Bank Note Company. Printing was shared by both the American and National Bank Note companies. Treasury signatures of Chittenden and Spinner were printed on the face by using a separate plate and a special ink. On the face is the portrait of Alexander Hamilton, engraved by Joseph P. Ourdan. Two imprint versions of the American and National Bank Note companies are found. Similar to the $1 notes of this series, at the bottom center is a 1-2-3 design, with the particular denomination to be highlighted with a drop-out white background, in this case a 2 (the $3 was considered, and it was featured, but none were ever printed). All have a small red Treasury Seal with spiked border (applied by the National Currency Bureau in Washington). There are two patent imprints, 1860 at lower left and 1857 at center right, the latter referring to an American Bank Note Company patent for the green color, intended to deter counterfeiting. The back is printed in green and has the denomination and redemption information. The last is the so-called Second Obligation: "This note is a Legal Tender for all debts public and private, except for duties on imports and interest on the public debt, and is receivable in payment of all loans made to the United States."

*HIGHLIGHT OF NIGHT** 1912-p TOP POP Gold Indian Quarter Eagle $2 1/2 Graded ms66+ By SEGS (fc)

Lot #152 (Sale Order 104 of 608)

***Auction Highlight*** 1912-p TOP POP Gold Indian Quarter Eagle $2 1/2 Graded ms66+ By SEGS. HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT - Tied for Finest Known 1912 $2.5 Indian. Many Indian gold specialists consider the 1912 quarter eagle to be underrated in Gem and better condition. The spotlight is usually hogged by the obvious series key, 1911-D, and the condition keys, 1914 and 1914-D. The 1912 seems to fall off the radar of many collectors as a result, although in reality this issue is nearly as scarce in Gem condition as the two 1914 issues. The coin at hand actually surpasses the Gem level. In MS66+, it is tied as the finest known. Luster abounds on each side, showing remarkable preservation and rich orange-gold and lilac coloration. The strike is also sharp throughout. The importance of this piece to an Indian collector is unsurpassed. I have included the other ms66+ for your comparison. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

*HIGHLIGHT OF NIGHT* 1880-cc Vam 8 NEAR TOP POP Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms67+ By SEGS (fc)

Lot #153 (Sale Order 105 of 608)

***Auction Highlight*** 1880-cc Vam 8 NEAR TOP POP Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms67+ By SEGS. HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT - Up for Auction is an 1880-cc Morgan Tied for 2nd Finest known. An exquisite Superb Gem, both sides are fully frosted in finish with a brilliant snow white appearance. The strike is razor sharp throughout, a feature not always seen on 1880-CC dollars of the Reverse of 1879 hub variety. Silky smooth in texture and all but pristine, this delightful coin will please even the most discerning Carson City Mint and/or Morgan dollar enthusiast. As a Carson City Mint issue with a low mintage of 495,000 pieces (net after melting), the 1880-CC Morgan dollar has always been popular with collectors. Thanks to the widespread distribution of examples during the 1950s, early to mid 1960s and, especially, through the various GSA sales of the 1970s, the 1880-CC is readily obtainable in Mint State. Most such pieces are of the Reverse of 1879 hub variety, as here, and most grade no finer than MS-65. Even so, the persistent collector should be able to obtain an MS-66 without too much difficulty. Superb Gems in MS-67 and MS-67+, however, are another mater entirely. This issue, as are all Carson City Mint Morgan dollars, is a significant condition rarity in the grade offered here, a fact that is sure to result in spirited bidding for this lot. I will note that only 1 other coin has ever graded ms67+ and only one coin at ms68, neither of which has come ever come to auction. The lone ms68 is currently for sale at $278,000. I am including an ms67 for your comparison. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

*HIGHLIGHT OF ENTIRE AUCTION* 1924-p Saint-Gaudens $20 Gold Double Eagle Graded ms67+ By SEGS (fc)

Lot #154 (Sale Order 106 of 608)

***Auction Highlight*** 1924-p Saint-Gaudens $20 Gold Double Eagle Graded ms67+ By SEGS. HIGHLIGHT OF THE ENTIRE AUCTION - Up for Auction is a wonderful Saint Gaudens, 1924-p among the Finest known, the finest being ms68. Simply outstanding quality and eye appeal for this otherwise readily obtainable double eagle issue. The surfaces are highly lustrous with a smooth, satiny texture that borders on pristine. Rich reddish-orange patina throughout, both sides are completely original and further enhanced by iridescent highlights of powder blue and pale pinkish-rose. Full striking detail with razor sharp design elements adds to the appeal of this dazzling Superb Gem.The 1924 is one of several post-1916 issues in the Saint-Gaudens double eagle series that was exported in quantity. This is fortunate for today's collectors since the coins that were shipped overseas escaped the fate of the gold coins that remained in federal vaults -- mass destruction through melting in 1937. Widely represented in repatriations beginning in the mid to late 20th century, the 1924 has become one of the most plentiful Saint-Gaudens double eagles. Mint State examples abound, although we caution bidders that at the Superb Gem level even this otherwise common issue develops into a significant condition rarity. The present offering represents a significant bidding opportunity that will appeal to advanced collectors. I am including an ms67 and an ms67+ for your comparison. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

***Auction Highlight*** 1909-s Indian Cent 1c Graded Gem+ Unc RD By USCG (fc)

Lot #155 (Sale Order 107 of 608)

***Auction Highlight*** 1909-s Indian Cent 1c Graded Gem+ Unc RD By USCG. This is an exceptionally well preserved and attractive example of an eagerly sought key date issue. Softly frosted in texture, both sides are bathed in original golden-orange color. The strike is sharp overall, and the surfaces are expectably smooth for the assigned grade. The second mint marked cent in U.S. coinage history, the 1909-S boasts the lowest mintage in the Indian series with a mere 309,000 pieces produced. These coins were struck in January and February of that year, after which production was halted as the San Francisco Mint prepared to receive the first of the new Lincoln cent dies from Philadelphia. With contemporary numismatic and other interest focused on the new cent design, and especially the controversy surrounding the designer's initials V.D.B., the 1909-S Indian cent was largely overlooked by speculators. Even so, enough Mint State examples were set aside to meet current demand in lower grades. As a premium quality full Red Gem, however, the present example is decidedly rare from a condition standpoint and represents a significant find for the advanced collector. I have included an ms65 rd and an ms66 rd for your comparison. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin

*HIGHLIGHT OF ENTIRE AUCTION* 1899-o TOP POP Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms68 By SEGS (fc)

Lot #157 (Sale Order 109 of 608)

***Auction Highlight*** 1899-o TOP POP Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms68 By SEGS. HIGHLIGHT OF THE ENTIRE AUCTION - Up for Auction is a TOP POP Tied for Finest Known 1899-o Morgan Dollar. Frosty brilliant surfaces provide outstanding visual appeal. This is a sharply struck and virtually pristine New Orleans Mint silver dollar. Prior to the mid 20th century, the 1899-O Morgan was considered a rarity in Uncirculated condition. While 12,290,000 examples were struck, many were placed into storage. A few of these bags were released from the Treasury Building in Washington, D.C. in the 1940s and 1950s, but it wasn't until the 1960s that a large quantity became available from a sealed vault at the Philadelphia Mint. Most survivors are in Mint State, though in higher grades the population falls off precipitously. Premium Superb Gem such as this are exceedingly rare, and the present example is tied for the Finest known with the ex. Jack Lee Example. I am including an ms67+ and the other ms68 for your comparison. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

Lot #158 (Sale Order 110 of 608)

***Auction Highlight*** 1923-p Near TOP POP Standing Liberty Quarter 25c Graded ms67 FH By SEGS. HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT - This is an exceptionally smooth, well struck representative of this obtainable P-mint issue--discounting the presence of Full Head details, which Cline estimates occur on only about 10% of the issue. Bag marks and other surface blemishes are conspicuously absent, and every design element is not only present, but also crisply detailed. All 10 toes on Liberty's feet are visible, and all the rivets in the shield are sharp. Intense mint frost radiates over fully brilliant surfaces. Although NGC has graded 2 coins at ms68, None above ms67 FH has ever come to auction. I have included another ms67 FH and an ms66+ FH example for your comparison. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

Lot #163 (Sale Order 114 of 608)

***Auction Highlight*** Old Casino 50c Roll $10 Halves Las Vegas Casino Flamingo 1918 Walker & 1949 Franklin Ends. Up for auction is a Consignment I have secured a collection of old 1960?s Las Vegas Casino Half Dollar Shot Gun Rolls from various Casinos. These Rolls contain 20 Half Dollars. They have tight ends and are wild!. I opened three rolls to examine the contents and what I found was mostly Circulated Walkers, a few Franklins and a Seated coin or two and a couple of Barbers. But after I opened the rolls, I wished I hadn?t as they were so cool as antique Las Vegas Half Rolls. I have only seen a handful of these ever. The consignee has given us some additional rolls. We estimate the rolls to be worth $2000 each as a collectable antique, but if the roll is opened and has a rare date, who knows the value, a 1921 Walker even in low grade is worth over $500, and several other dates are worth over $200 each. But who knows, maybe a rare 1878-s Seated is inside. ($35k in g4), or an 1892-o Barber ($5k in G4). In any event the rolls themselves are amazing collectibles of a bygone era of the Rat pack and Las Vegas. From the rolls we have received there are 10 different casinos. Good Luck.

Lot #164 (Sale Order 115 of 608)

***Auction Highlight*** 1810 O-105 Capped Bust Half Dollar 50c Graded Select Unc By USCG. Up for Auction is the scarce O-105 of the 1810 Capped Bust Half Dollar. Tied for the finest known in the variety. Most readily attributed by line 1 of stripe 6 that extends up across six crossbars. What is not noted in Overton, though, is that the line angles up and to the right rather than being straight as seen on other varieties. This is the more frequently seen variant of O-105 with no obvious milling on the reverse. Medium tan-gold, stone-gray, and ocean-blue toning and thick mint luster enhances the toning. Just a bit softly struck over the highpoints, as normal. Sure to please even the most demanding collector.

*HIGHLIGHT OF ENTIRE AUCTION* PCGS 1886-o OGH Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms64 BY PCGS (fc)

Lot #165 (Sale Order 116 of 608)

***Auction Highlight*** PCGS 1886-o OGH Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms64 BY PCGS. HIGHLIGHT OF THE ENTIRE AUCTION - Up for Auction is a coin that I feel is undergraduate, it is an 1886-o Key Date Morgan in an OGH, Old Green Holder from PCGS and it is currently graded ms 64 on the label. PCGS in their first year were notorious for grading much differently than today's standards and many rattlers can be upgraded 1-2 points and many OGH coins can easily get a ½ point, if not a full 1 point upgrade. Well the 1886-o at hand has superb thick luster and a superb strike, especially for a New Orleans struck Morgan. The breast feathers are sharp & crisp and the hair above the ear is complete! The 1886-o is a Major condition rarity in ms65, trending $180,000. I wish you good luck in obtaining this ms64 PCGS OGH. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

Lot #166 (Sale Order 117 of 608)

***Auction Highlight*** 1882-o NEAR TOP POP Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms67+ By SEGS. HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT - Up for Auction is a spectacular 1882-o Morgan dollar graded ns67+, near TOP POP, among the finest known. The 1882-o becomes quite rare in grades above ms66. This premium gem has vibrant thick mint luster covering both sides. A great strike with the usual weakness on the centers. The obverse has pale gold toning with deeper shades on the edges which have stunning cobalt blue highlights at the top right. The reverse is a true deep rich rainbow with colors ranging from yellow to red/green and finally evolving to violet on the right. A coin that must be seen to be appreciated as no camera has yet been developed which can communicate the sheer beauty of this exceptional example. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

Lot #169 (Sale Order 119 of 608)

***Auction Highlight*** 1921-d Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms64+ PL By SEGS. This stunning near Gem is brilliant apart from wisps of iridescent golden-rose peripheral toning that are more prevalent on the obverse. Highly lustrous with appreciable reflective tendencies in the fields, a sharp to full strike is also a praiseworthy attribute for a final-year Morgan dollar. Terrific cameo on the obverse, rarely seen on the issue. As certified population data makes clear, Proof like coins are in the distinct minority among Mint State survivors of this otherwise plentiful Denver Mint issue. A find for the advanced Morgan dollar enthusiast. Amongst the finest known. Less than 10 coins ever certified over ms64PL and less than 100 known in PL! Lot #172 (Sale Order 121 of 608)

***Auction Highlight*** 1882-cc TOP POP Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms67 DMPL By SEGS. HIGHLIGHT OF THE ENTIRE AUCTION - Up for Auction is a TOP POP Tied with just 1 other coin for Finest Known, ms67 DMPL, 1882-cc Carson City Morgan. Collectors owe a debt of gratitude to the General Services Administration sales of the 1970s (ended in 1980) for the dispersal of millions of Mint State CC-mint Morgan dollars. When the price of silver began to rise and silver dollars became worth more than their melt value, the Treasury ceased payments of silver dollars in March 1964. As the Bowers-Borckardt Silver Dollar Encyclopedia explains, although the Carson City Mint had ceased coinage in 1893, it continued to store many millions of CC Morgans until 1899, when about 5 million coins were transferred--mostly to Treasury vaults in Washington, D.C., with some others going to the San Francisco Mint. All of those CC-mint dollars were promptly forgotten, for decades.Collector interest in mint marked coins was spurred, coincidentally, in 1893 by the publication of a small pamphlet by Augustus Heaton called Mint Marks. The book listed "causes of attractiveness" of various mint marked coins, forever altering the landscape of U.S. numismatics. Collectors became accustomed to collecting coins according to whether they had an S for San Francisco, a D for Dahlonega (and later Denver), a CC, an O for New Orleans, or a C for Charlotte. (Other mint marks--W for West Point, and P for Philadelphia--were many years in the future.)In the quarter-century from 1910-1935, when the Peace dollar series ended, collector interest had increased in collecting Morgan dollars by mintmark. In the 1940s and 1950s, some dealers obtained quantities of various CC-mint marked dollars at face value, making a good living reselling the nice ones. (The smallest quantities were those for 1879, 1889, and 1893, presaging the current market conditions of today.) When the Treasury stopped silver dollar payouts in 1964, many thousands of CC Morgan dollars dated from 1880 through 1885, in particular, remained. (The history of the Morgan dollars from four mints over a period of 90 years is a complex one; see Bowers for much more information.)Of the original mintage of 1,133,000 1882-CC silver dollars, the General Services Administration still held more than 605,000 coins, or about 53.4% of that total. This coin, along with just one other--of all that vast quantity--has risen to the top as the two finest certified. This is one of only two MS67 DMPL 1882-CC certified, with none finer. The surfaces are fully proof like and deeply reflective, with silver-white coloration and a complete lack of distractions. The strike is bold, save for a hint of softness over the ear, and the devices are fully frosted and stunning in their intensity. A coin for the finest Morgan collection. I am including the other ms67 DMPL as a comparison. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

1918 $1 National Currency "Flying Eagle" Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, IL Grades vf+Grades vf+. There are three different years found on series of 1918 one dollar bills.  Despite also saying 1914 and 1913, these are referred to by collectors as 1918 federal reserve bank notes.  Collectors have given this note the nickname of the ?Flying Eagle.?  The back of the note shows why the bill received its nickname. Keep in mind that series of 1918 one dollar federal reserve bank notes were issued for 12 different banks. The artwork will all be the same though.  George Washington is on the left hand side of the bill.  There is a blue seal on the right hand side of the bill and the serial numbers are in blue ink.

A brilliant Gem silver dollar with razor sharp striking detail and intense satin luster. As the first San Francisco Mint issue in the Morgan series, the 1878-S is a perennial favorite among specialists as well as more generalized silver dollar collectors. The 1878-S is readily obtainable in most Mint State grades, providing many collectors with the opportunity to acquire an attractive example of this historic silver dollar. On the other hand, coins that grade above MS-66+ or finer are scarce to rare, confirming the significance of this offering for quality conscious Morgan dollar enthusiasts.

***Auction Highlight*** 1878-p Rev '79 Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms66 By SEGS (fc)

Lot #209 (Sale Order 149 of 608)

***Auction Highlight*** 1878-p Rev '79 Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms66 By SEGS. The 1878 seven tailfeathers issue was struck from both reverse hub types: the first with parallel top arrow feather, and concave breast on the eagle, often referred to as the Reverse of 1878, and the second variation, referred to as the Reverse of 1879, with a slanting top arrow feather, and convex, or rounded, breast to the eagle. The latter variety is considered to be scarcer in both circulated and Mint State grades. Q. David Bowers, in A Guide Book of Morgan Silver Dollars, fifth edition, estimates only 50 to 100 survivors in MS65 or better, versus an estimate of 1,000 to 1,800 MS65 or better Reverse of 1878 survivors. The Reverse of 1879 example we offer here is sharp, virtually untoned, and free of mentionable marks, one point from the finest known. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

**Auction Highlight**Old Casino 50c Roll $10 Halves Las Vegas Casino Silver City 1929 Walker & 1925

Lot #211 (Sale Order 151 of 608)

***Auction Highlight*** Old Casino 50c Roll $10 Halves Las Vegas Casino Silver City 1929 Walker & 1925 Stone MT Ends. Good Luck.

1917 $1 Legal Tender, Signatures of Speelman & White, FR39 Grades vf+

Lot #213 (Sale Order 152 of 608)

1917 $1 Legal Tender, Signatures of Speelman & White, FR39 Grades vf+. 1917 $1 Legal Tender, Signatures of Speelman & White, FR39. This 1917 $1 note is the last large-sized legal tender bank note ever issued. It's referred to as a "Horseblanket Note," due to their large size. The obverse features Washington and a vignette of Columbus sighting America. The reverse shows a "sawhorse" design. Add in the bright red seal and serial numbers and you've got a miniature work of art. The nicest one we have ever been able to bring to auction.

Lot #272 (Sale Order 191 of 608)

1870's US Fractional Currency 10¢ Fourth Issue Fr-1258 Grades vf+.
