1957 Ford Thunderbird Lot #758 (Sale Order 55 of 253) Once owned by an executive secretary for the Ford Motor Company, this T-Bird is now a rare gem in the JS James Collection. This vehicle's pristine Dusk Rose enamel paint was applied with an exclusive no-chip primer and baked-on. Only Four (4) '57 T-Birds are known to wear this paint by this process used in the 1970 restoration of this vehicle and will never be duplicated again. After close inspection, it is hard to imagine that this car has never been waxed since. Restored to such perfection, this T-Bird scored 298.5 and has been a "Best of Show" and "Peoples Choice" award winner. 1931 Packard 840 Roadster Lot #758A (Sale Order 56 of 253) 1931 Packard 840 Roadster, the seller bought this car from John Mozart, Fremont, CA in 1998 with 14,565 miles on the odometer. He has bought it from Imperial Palace in Las Vegas which acquired it from the McGowan Brothers, Brandford, CT who restored the car to like new condition. They in turn had bought the car in New Castle, PA in 1979, an elderly gentleman who owned the car since 1945. The car was originally delivered on 2/23/1931 which accounts for the dealer conversion kit (from 1931 to 1932 model) in Wheeling, WVA (per R.E. Turnquist). According to Richie Clyne of the Imperial Palace, the car was originally owned by the Mellon Family. The actual mileage 30,700 KM (19,187 miles) can be converted back to miles. 1939 Ford Deluxe Lot #857 (Sale Order 146 of 253) This 1939 FOrd Deluxe had a frame off total body restoration 18-20 years ago at Dorman Garage Restoration in La Porte, Indiana. It looks as beautiful today as then, which is proof of the workmanship that went into this car. The engine was restored at that time by the second owner, also owner of Harrison Engine Service in La Porte. It was an original, rust free Montana car with all original parts.Some of the features are: V8 engine, correct Lebaron Bonnie interior, banjo steering wheel, floor shift, Coker wide whitewall tires, tilt-out windshield, radio and original dry heat heater. The wood graining on the interior is a work of art. The mechanical were recently updated at FlatHead Eddy's by Ed Yoder in Dayton, Ohio. Included are: new carburator, clutch, pressure plate, brakes, wheel and master cylinder, brake lines, water pump, radiator core, coil distributor service. Also, windshield trunk and cowl gaskets.It rides and drives as beautifully and reliably as it looks. You don't see many originals, especially as nice as this.
