Contemporary Knight Armor Suit Display

Lot #2000 (Sale Order 2 of 647)

A contemporary set of knight's plate armor on an armor stand, complete with sword and banners. Plate armor has some oxidation and patina with heavy patina on back. Sword is marked "Carlos V" on cross guard and one side of blade. Other side of blade has pictogram of Carlos V. Blade is heavily patinaed and measures 37.75" long. Blade has intentional dull edge. One banner is yellow with black eagle and other banner is red with yellow 8 pointed star in white shield. Armor set appears complete and would make for an excellent display piece. Vintage unknown. Whole set on stand measures ~24.5"W x 17.75" x 75"T. Armor stand base measures 17.75"D x 17.25"W x 74"T.

Civil War-Style Kepi Hats (2)

Civil War-Style Kepi Hats (2), one cap has embroidered initials on front "AMC", military Civil War-style buttons on band, blue wool in very good condition, no mothing, leather brim has severe heat marks, see photo. Second hat is probably Masonic, embroidered "CC63" on black patch sewn onto front of hat, buttons have cross through crown, makers name not visible, cloth has no mothing, leather being in good condition.

Civil War style kepi. Front of kepi has the number 464 and S 10 with star on the very top. Liner is in great shape for the age and was made by Pettibone Bros Mfg. Co. Leather visor is stiff but does not have any cracks or rips. Possible GAR. See photos.

Battle of Wilson's Creek Framed Lithograph

Lot #2001a (Sale Order 5 of 647)

Battle of Wilson's Creek framed lithograph. The Battle of Wilson's Creek was the first battle in the neutral state of Missouri, but the governor was secretly supporting the Confederate troops. The Battle started off in the Union's favor as the Confederate troops failed to break through General Lyon of the Union. Eventually, Col. Franz Sigel lost his column and all Confederate forces went to Lyon's column. Lyon was killed and his second in command was wounded, leaving Major Samuel D. Sturgis in command. Sturgis retreated after realizing his men were out of ammunition, giving the Confederates the victory. Lithograph shows Lyon and his army advancing on the Confederate troops right as he was killed. Bottom of lithograph has some details about the piece. Lithograph has been well kept and does not appear to have any holes or rips. Framed with glass. Measures 24 1/4"T x 38 1/4"W from edges of frame.

US Revolutionary War Items

US Revolutionary War items. Includes a plaque for the Colonial Flintlock pistol that is able to be hung on the wall in a copper color and a musket ball with flag found at the battlefield of Yorktown, Virginia. The Battle of Yorktown was the last battle of the Revolutionary war where George Washington and French general Comte de Rochambean captured 2 British defenses and ended the war with General Cornwallis's surrender. Comes with certificate of authenticity. Both items in good condition.

Civil War Canister Shot and Stamps

Civil War canister shot with stamps of US Presidents and figures. Canister shot comes with a certificate of authenticity saying it was recovered from Antietam MD. The Battle of Antietam was one of the bloodiest battles during the Civil War and was fought by Robert E Lee and George B. McClellan. Although the Union took heavier losses, Lee retreated. This push back gave Lincoln the courage to write the Emancipation Proclamation. Canister shot has a diameter of 1.5". Stamps have various presidents and US figures such as Roosevelt, Lee and Jackson, Washington and Lee, and Grant, Sherman and Sheridan. Stamps are form the mid 20th century. See photos.

The Thirteen Original Colonies Framed Buttons

The Thirteen Original Colonies framed collector's buttons. These buttons show each of the now state seals and were cast from the original dies and plated with 24 carat gold. Comes in a nice display box and was made for the VFW by Encyclopaedia Britannica. Back of the frame has a short description of the items and a makers mark. Buttons are in excellent condition with Rode Island having some minor corrosion at the top edge. Very nice piece of US history. See photos. Measures 9"W x 11"T x 2"D.

WWII US M1 helmet with fixed bales and front seam. Liner appears to be later Korean war airborne line but M1 shell is WWII era. Liner has a brown and black pattern with a leather and fur chin strap. Shell has parts of the chin straps with some minor paint loss on the very top of the outside. Overall, this is a very good helmet.

A framed hand drawn picture of a P-40E War Hawk plane with a pair of pilot's wings. The P-40 was the third most produced US fighter during WWII and served in the US, British, Russian and Chinese air forces. This drawing is made from pencil/charcoal and is signed by the artist in the lower right corner, dated 1988. The pilot's wings are mounted at the bottom of the frame and the era for the wings are unknown. Overall very good condition. Measures 19.5" x 17.5" from the edges of the frame.

WWII US M1 helmet and a FM 23-5 field Manual on the M1 Garand. Manual is in very good condition with some small folds at the corners of a few pages but each page is clearly legible. Helmet has some corrosion on the metal parts holding the straps together but does not have any cracks in the helmet or liner. Seam is on the front and swivel bales. Comes with extra straps. Liner is stamped "F" in a shield and "24". See photos.

This lot contains a 1950/60s Ridgeway/Fatigue Hat. The had itsel if in good used condition with some minor sweat staining. the brim is firm and holds the standard issue form. The tag on the inside states: 'Falcon "Jump Cap" Permanant Shape' There is one minor 'scrape' on the back resulting in some loose threads. There are a few other loose threads here and there but otherwise in very good used condition. The top of the cap has a few minor stains and there are two black scuffs near the edges. front of the cap shows minor scuffing in black an a loose threat here and there. No insignia or pins. Overall very nice cap. Size 7 1/4. See photos.

This lot is a Marine cap with Marine insignia on the front. It appears to be about a size 7. It is heavily sweat stained but is in good used condition. Some fraying at the back of the hat on the outside of the sweatband. Marine Corp logo can be seen on front of the cap. It is slightly faded on the left side. There is a loose thread here and there. Most significantly there is a loose thread where the visor connects to the cap on the right hand side. See photos.

1950/60s Dress Blue Aviation Warrant Officer Hat

This lot is for a 1950/60s Dress Blue Aviation Warrant Officer visor cap. The cap is in excellent condition. Cap is manufactured by Ace Manufacturing Co. and is a size 7. The leather sweat band is still pliable and subtle with no visible sweat damage. The wool cap itself is free of moth damage and in very good condition. The visor is fully intact with no cracking or sweat damage. There is a loose thread where the leather sweatband and visor meet. The cap contains both buttons holding the chinstrap, as well as a still vibrant cap pin. A very nice visor cap. See photos.

WWI British Brodie Helmet

Lot #2010 (Sale Order 35 of 647)

WWI British Brodie helmet. The Brodie helmet was a standard issue to the British and US troops during WWI and continued to be used by the Commonwealth in WWII. The steal helmet gave better protection than the French design and was much simpler and easier to produce, although was outclassed by the German helmets of the time. Helmet has some minor rust on the surfaces but retains +90% of the original green paint. Inside has a felt covering on the top with original liner and leather straps. Part of the strap on one side is broken. "RED CCT" is written on the leather support for the liner and "HS 410" is stamped on the end of the rim. Good condition helmet for the age. See photos.

WWI US 1917 helmet. Helmet has no liner but comes with leather chin strap. Front of the helmet has a faded red "1" painted on. Outside has worn paint but the olive green color can still be seen. Inside has reminisce of the old liner with part of the padding under the top screw. Good condition for the age. See photos.

French Adrian Helmet

This is a M-26 French Adrian Helmet. These helmets were used by the French in WW2. This helmet comes with a partial liner. The leather is dried and it is missing some hardware. The band of the liner itself is split. The shell of the helmet is in used condition. The cone is missing much of its paint. There is an approximately 2.5" dent to the left of the cone. There is an Infanterie insignia on the front of the helmet. The helmet has been repainted and there are several paint drips coming from the insignia. Overall fair condition. See photos.

WWII Italian M33 helmet. The M33 was the standard issue helmet to most Italian troops and based off the German Stahlhelm. The M33 was not as good as the German design but offered much better protection than the Adrian helmet it replaced. Comes with original steel headband. See photos.

RARE WWII Czech M30 Helmet

Lot #2010d (Sale Order 39 of 647)

Rare WWII Czech M30 helmet. The M30 was a Czech made helmet but has never been issued by Czech armed forces. These helmets were produced but were quickly replaced by the M32. With the large amount of unissued helmets, the Spanish forces during the Spanish Civil War acquired them for use on both sides of the conflict. Helmet has remains of white paint. No other markings available.

Civil Defense Helmet Painted Green W/ Bat Logo

This appears to be a civil defense helmet that has been painted over in a dark olive drab green. On the front there is a painted bat logo. Liner is intact, though it is fraying in spots. on the inside you can see white paint that was likely original to this helmet. Bales are fixed and there is no chinstrap. Helmet has chipping and scratches. Barely perceivable minor dent on the top in the back of the helmet. On the underside of the brim in the back you can faintly see 'US GOVT Property.'

WWI US Army Canvas Gaiters

WWI US Army canvas gaiters, possibly cavalry, dated July 31, 1917. Gaiters were used to protect the user by going over their boot and up to their mid calf. Inside both have black ink markings with the date and inspection stamp. Both markings are hard to read but one of them is more legible than the other. Each one comes with the original lace to tie them and canvas straps. Overall very good condition for the age. Complete your WWI uniform!

2 US Medal of Honor Recipients Autographs

Lot #2013a (Sale Order 44 of 647)

Lot of 2 US Medal of Honor recipients autographs. The first one is a signed photo of the flags being raised at Iwo Jima by Hershel Williams, where he was within 1000 yards of it being raised and able to see it first hand. Williams was awarded the MOH for his actions on Iwo Jima where he was able to take out many enemy bunkers with a flame thrower while under heavy machine gun fire. As of today, Williams is the only living WWII MOH recipient. The second autograph is from Robert D. Maxwell who was awarded the MOH for his actions on September 7, 1944 in Besancon, France. Maxwell and 3 other soldiers in a forward observation post came under enemy fire. Maxwell and his men were armed with .45 pistols while the enemy had machine guns, grenades, and 20mm anti air guns. A grenade was thrown into their position and Maxwell jumped on it to protect his fellow soldiers. He survived but had been permanently maimed. Both autographs are in plastic covers. Very nice piece.

WWII US General overseas hat with gold piping and single Sterling silver star pin. Inside of the hat is marked "PAYLUD". Some sweat marks but good condition.

American Brodie Helmet

Lot #2015 (Sale Order 47 of 647)

The M1917 or the Brodie helmet was used by the United States and was also referred to as a Doughboy helmet. WW1 proved that felt and leather helmets offered little protection in modern warfare thus the development of steel helmets. The Americans implemented them in 1917 with some remaining in use until 1942 despite the development of the M1 helmet in 1941. This helmet shell is fully intact and retains its liner possessing a broken chinstrap. The leather on the liner is dried out but mostly intact and the netting behind it remains. The liner is partially detached on one side. It has a front end seam. There is some paint chipping through out and a couple of drips of white paint on the exterior helmet shell. The shell is in good used condition the liner is in fair condition. See photos.

The helmet has damage to the brim and the metal is disconnecting on the rim of the helmet. There is a small dent in the top of the helmet and there is no liner. It would have swivel bales but there is only one present. Used condition scratches, scuffs, dings, and dents. See photos.

Lot of WWII US boots and duffel bags. Lighter color bag is named to Wilfred F. Brown. Darker bag has a small hole at the bottom near the stains. Combat boots are made from study leather and marked US Royal on the heel. Size is unknown but measures 11"L and 4"W. Used condition but still in good shape.

Center is marked "Patented Palco May 4 1915" with the factory and city name around it. Made from pressed aluminum. Bottom edge on the back appears to have once been repaired. Has some small scratches but overall in good used condition.

Says U.S. on the front. It appears there are a few marker spots on the canvas. Lid chain is intact. Says Foley MFG. CO. 1942 on the back. Overall good original condition. The canteen itself is marked U.S. followed by A.G.M. CO. 1945. The canteen cup has the same markings. See photos.

WWII War Progress Maps

WWII war progress maps, taken from a gas station. These were put up in a gas station to show customers the progress of the war. One is post war and the other is dated 1942. Both maps are in very good condition and come laminated. Sizes are 39"W x 17 1/4"T and 27"W x 20"T for the second one. Second one is double sided while the larger is single sided.

WWII Colonel's Wrist Watch and Books

Lot of a WWII US Army Colonel's wrist watch, a Combat Orders book, and a regimental commander organization book. These items were used by Colonel Paul F. Schlick of the 206th Infantry Division. Combat orders book is in excellent condition and is marked with the Colonel's name and unit number. Regimental commander book has some postcard sized paper inserts, but most of it is empty. WWII US Paratrooper Uniform and Items

WWII US Army paratrooper uniform with pocket knife, noise clicker, vomit bag, helmet, and jacket with pants. Paratrooper knife is a switch blade with the marking Schrade Walden on the ricasso. Blade springs open nicely but has some minor pitting near the edge. Good condition knife. Noise clickers were used during the Normandy Invasion where US troops would click once and wait for 2 clicks to recognize friendly forces. Side is marked En Normandie and top has the date 6 June 1944. Good condition. Motion sickness bag comes in original envelope. Very good condition. Helmet is a front seam, fixed bale helmet with netting and airborne liner. The name Thomas E. Muellow is written on the headband with the number N827862445 under it. Liner can be held in place with the shell via snaps on the chin strap. Helmet is in very good condition. Pants are marked on the waistband W6232 in black ink. They measure 32W and 42L. Small hole in the left thigh pocket but overall very good condition. Jacket is in very good to excellent condition with minor corrosion on the metal buttons. Comes with Airborne sleeve patch although is not attached and belt. Measures approximately 18.25" from shoulder to shoulder and 28" from shoulder to bottom. Overall, every item in this lot is in good to very good or excellent condition. Great piece of history.

Named WWII US Army Nurse Uniform and Jacket

WWII US Army nurse uniform with olive color jacket in a large trunk. Comes with 2 pairs of gaiters, 2 nurse field duty uniforms, HBT jacket and pants. Worn by Second Lieutenant Mary J, Urschalitz. Mary was born in 1921 and served in Germany during WWII for the US Army as a nurse. After the war, she was a volunteered nurse from 1946-1961 and a public health nurse from 1978-1986. She passed away in 2005 at the age of 85. Nurse duty uniforms are size 14 and HBT jacket and pants are both size large. Clothing is in very good to excellent condition. Gaiters come in a pair of tan and pair of olive-green coloring. Trunk has her name and rank on the front as well as other markings on the top. Very nice uniform grouping.

USAF flight pants are size 30 and have USAF marking on inside and top of left thigh. Suspenders are present and in good condition. Some minor staining present. WWII flying trousers are size 40. Some small holes present of leg cuffs. Leather straps on waist band are worn but soft and supple. Left front pocket has glue on zipper. Overall good condition. See photos.

Lot consists of a WWII Ike jacket, a plain Ike jacket, a pair of trousers, and a WWII USN sailor's dress tunic. The WWII Ike jacket bears the rank of sergeant on sleeves as well as overseas bars on the left sleeve. USAAF patch present on top of left sleeve. Collar pins present on front of collar. Ike jacket is named on inside with laundry tag and size tag reading "36R". Sailor tunic has embroidered gold name on inside with 3 white stripes around collar and cuffs. Unknown size on tunic. Plain Ike jacket is size 38L and ink stamped "A3658" and "A3656" on inside. Pants are marked "W33 L33/55-T-35433-33" on inside of waist band. Overall very good to excellent condition. WWII US Army uniform named to Harry McKinney and some of his belongings. Clothing includes his jacket, 2 pairs of pants, wool gloves, wool shirts and wool socks. Lot also includes items from him or related to him such as letters, photos of him and friends, souvenirs, documents, letters and more. McKinney served from late 1943 to early 1946 in Guam as stated on his honorable discharge paperwork. Some of the letters and documents are worn from age but can still be read. Uniform is in good condition with patches and ribbon bars. Jacket has patch for the Army Pacific Command. All items included belonged to him either as vet bring backs or government documents. Also includes a photo album with some unique photos. Some are photos of Japanese pilots that flew leaders to sign the Japanese surrender and others are of personal photos such as nose artwork and Ernie Pyle post. Others are post war photos of McKinney. COL HIMMA NAMED PARATROOPER AIRBORNE JACKET&PAPERS

Col Einar Himma paratrooper Airborne jacket with Himma related papers. There was only one combat paratrooper drop during the entirety of the Vietnam War which occurred in the vicinity of Katum on February 22, 1967 by the 2nd Battalion, 503rd Airborne Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade. A grand total of 743 confirmed, named paratroopers made the combat drop into the vicinity of Katum that day, of which Col. Himma , then Lt. Col., was one of the paratroopers named to make the drop. The combat drop was the opening action of Operation Junction City, an operation meant to flush out the headquarters of the communist uprising in South Vietnam, known as the Central Office for South Vietnam. While the operation would last 3 months altogether, it is now remembered for being the only parachute combat drop of the entire Vietnam War. Col Himma was part of the US Army Rangers and was at one point the head Green Berets physician. Himma served 2 tours of Vietnam as a physician and surgeon. Himma was part of the 1970 Fort Bragg incident where Jeffery MacDonald was accused of killing his wife and 2 children where Himma took hair samples as evidence from MacDonald. He had been awarded the Parachutist Badge of the Imperial Iranian Army, Parachutist Badge of the Army of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Legion of Merit to name a few. Lot includes copies of various paperwork about him such as flight records, small arms certification, awards, photos and more. Uniform comes with his name tag and various Airborne and Rangers patches including 2 patches that are not attached. Photo of him in a helicopter also included. Jacket size small regular and in very good condition. This is a great lot about a named officer who served in Vietnam, had a long and distinguished military career, and was one of the 743 named paratroopers to jump during the only combat parachute drop of Vietnam. A must have for any collector of paratrooper militaria and Vietnam war history. See photos.

An innteresting pre WWI German child's coat with accompanying period framed photograph. Uniform is marked "Adolf Boll. Hoflief./München" on inside collar tag with second tag below it reading "Adolf Boll/Hoflieferant/Theatinerstr. 40/41 MÜNCHEN". Uniform is a field gray color with 5 brass buttons on either side. Collar has a navy blue interior with red exterior. Double breasted wool jacket is in very good condition with a small moth hole on the interior. Brass buttons on front show some tarnishing. The period framed photograph shows a child wearing this coat along with a peaked visor cap. Framing is worn with some small chips in top right corner and some staining. Photograph appears to be in very good condition. Frame measures 18.5"W x 25.675"T. Coat measures 30"B x 31.5"H. An interesting historical lot believed to be pre WWI. See photos.

A uniform for St. Catherine's military school consisting of a jacket, pants, and belt. Uniform jacket has St. Catherine's patch on right sleeve with St. Catherine's lapel buttons. Jacket is named to "Lawrence Schlick" on inside tag. Jacket has tag on inside pocket dated "8-29-44" and "Made exclusively for Desmond's, Southern California" tag on inside as well. Jacket has some minor stains. Pants are named "L. Schlick" on inside waistband and have some minor stains on the outside. Comes with a leather belt with St. Catherine's belt buckle and another belt with buckle marked "Darius Commander". Jacket measures 18"W at shoulders and 25" from shoulder to bottom edge. Pants measure 29" waist and 39" length.

U.S M1902 Henderson Ames Co Saber/Sword

A saber/sword with scabbard. Sword has fullered and curved blade measuring 32" in length etched one side with floral sprays, military trophies, and an eagle with spread wings. The other side is similarly decorated but with "U.S." in old English script in place of eagle. Ricasso is marked "The Henderson Ames Co., Kalamazoo, Mich". Blade edge has several nicks and tip is blunted. Blade is heavily oxidized with edge having oxidation along the length of the blade. Cross guard/basket has a broken section. Black paint is absent from handle and handle has some dings. Two ring scabbard has ring collars numbered "89". Scabbard has heavy finish loss with rust and oxidation present where finish is absent. Overall rough condition. See photos.

This lot contains a vintage Bridgeport Boy Scout Hatchet with a leather sheath. It is in used condition. The read paint shows signs of wear and chipping. The Grip is in good used condition some scuffs and scrapes but still holds firm. Blade could use a sharpening and has multiple dings and dents. Has 'Bridgeport' and the Boy Scout insignia embossed on the blade. Sheath works as a blade cover but the button is broken. There is a tear in the leather by the button. Leather is well worn with scuffs and scrapes. See photos. Measures 13" long butt to blade. Blade measures 4.75"x3" at it's widest and .75" at it's thickest. There is a small designed indentation in the blade giving the hatchet multiple uses pulling nails etc. See photos

Napoleonic Era Powder Measures

These two powder measures are old circa 19th century. They are in the shape of small daggers however the measurements are prevalent on one side of the triangular blades of each. One of the blades the measurements are more pronounced but they can be seen on both. These measures could easily double as daggers if necessary in close quarters though that was not their primary intent. Sturdy construction. Metal is highly tarnished. Tips have slight downturn from use. Both measure approximately 12" long and approximately 2" across at finger guard.

A German NSKK dagger complete with scabbard. This dagger would have been carried by members of the NSKK (National Socialist Motor Corps) as indicated by the black scabbard instead of the standard brown SA scabbard. Blade measures 8.75" long and is engraved "Alles fur Deutschland" on one side. The ricasso is marked "Malsch & Ambronn/Steinbach" on the other side, an early maker of SA daggers. Polished blade has some wear with drag marks and scratches from scabbard. Blade edge is sharp and tip is pointy with some minor oxidation on one side. Cross guard has some wear and scratches to finish and is marked "Sa". Wood grips have some minor scratches and dings. Parteiadler grip ornament and SA escutcheon are in good condition with some minor tarnishing. Pommel has some minor wear to finish. Comes in NSKK scabbard with black finish on scabbard body in good condition with one minor dent. Scabbard fitting on end has some minor pitting. A nice example of a NSKK dagger. See photos.

This is a German Police Issue Browning HiPower Holster. Manufactured prewar in Belguim. This holster was Issued to Pol. Hauptwachtm Martens, Pol. Stat. Dulken. This is printed on a label inside the holster where the serial number that is imprinted in the leather on the outside of the holster is also hand written on the inside. The Officer was Hauptwachtmeister Martens, and the Police Station was Dulken (Germany.) The holster is in good used condition. The leather is still in tact with visible wear from use. The holster still has it's leather button strap to close it intact though it is a bit dry. Button hardware is there and holster functions as intended. Both belt loops are also intact. The back of the holster has some heavy scuffing from use as does the front. Comes with a photocopied area map showing the location this was issued. SN 37770 See photos.

Adolf Hitler Salad Fork. This salad fork was part of Hitler's formal dining ware and used by him at his various places of residence. This salad fork was found by 1st Lieutenant D.C. Watts of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Infantry Division in the underground storage rooms of the Platterdorf Hotel in the Obersalzburg area. The fork has the curved, interlocked AH monogram deeply etched in the fork handle that is clear and distinct. The butter knife has seen use. Two pieces of China made by the Sebring Pottery Co. The first is a China plate that was a part of the "Lucky Set" as it was decorated with Lady Luck, 4 leaf clovers, wishbones, and swastikas. Plate is in good condition with some minor wear. Sebring marking on bottom. Glaze use cracking on bottom small chip in rim of plate. Measures 6" across. The other plate is a piece of China made by the Sebring Pottery Co. and also from the "Lucky Set." It has multiple chips around the rim. There is a approximately 4" crack protruding from one of the chips. Hairline fractures and glaze cracks throughout but predominantly on the bottom. Measures 8" across. See photos.

Helmet liner is size marked "55" on front flap. Helmet retains majority of black paint with some minor wear and paint loss on rivets. WWII Nazi Erich Dethfelsen Portrait with Signed Notes. Erich Dethfelsen was the Army liaison to Adolf Hitler and a member of the general staff. As Army liaison, he would relay information back and forth between the Nazi government and the Wehrmacht general staff. Signatures are clear and distinct on both notes, lettering is slightly faded but legible on top note. Note has no damage. Loosely translated: I regret not being able to send you a photo. Sincerely... German WWII Army Heer German Cross in Gold in Cloth. Measures 3 1/16” in diameter. The front shows a swastika in the center surrounded by a round brass oak leaf wreath dated ‘1941’ at the base. There are eight rays in the back ground. Has a paper backing on the reverse side. Machine embroidered silver bullion wire and cotton thread on an OD green wool base. Awarded for gallantry in combat action.

Austrian Empire Imperial Eagle Coat of Arms Seal

A seal of the Imperial Eagle of the Austrian Empire contained in a stylized brass tray with lid. The dual headed eagle is beautifully detailed with all of the trademark features of the Austrian coat of arms present such as the two crowns for each head of the eagle, the sword clutched in the eagle's right talons, the shield on the eagle's chest featuring the rampant lion, the crown jewel orb in the left talons, and the large crown above the eagle's heads. Surrounding the eagle is Latin text reading "Franciscus Josephus I ..."Franz Joseph I was the emperor of the Austro-Hungarian empire and would remain emperor until his death in 1916. This seal would have been attached to a massive document it was used on with linen cord on the top of the tin and have the various seals of counts and dukes hanging below it. Wax seal is in excellent condition with clear distinct detail. Tin is in excellent condition. A must have for any collector of Austro-Hungarian history or European history. See photos.

WWII German BDM Uniform Grouping

A complete uniform for a member of the Bund Deutscher Madel (League of German Girls) consisting of a jacket, blouse, skirt, apron, and hat. Given the small size, this might have been for a member of the Jungmadel bund, the sub division of the BDM for girls ages 10-14. Enrollment into the BDM and Hitler Jugend was made mandatory for all children in Nazi Germany meeting the eligibility requirements in 1936. The regulation for uniforms of members of the BDM dictated a white blouse, a dark blue skirt, and a black neckerchief. Jacket is ink stamped "Deutsches Reich" on the inside left with a pair of "Wehrbezirks-Kommando/Berlin VIII" ink stamps in red, the first possibly being a light strike that was over stamped by the second. Jacket has patch on left sleeve reading "Ost Berlin" with Hitler Youth/BDM insignia beneath. Jacket has 4 front pockets with no inside pockets and has 5 woven leather buttons on the front. No maker's tag or size tag present on the inside of the jacket. Jacket has a stain on the right sleeve and is in otherwise excellent condition. The white blouse has the same "Ost Berlin" patch as the jacket on the left sleeve. Blouse has some minor sweat stains on the inside collar and left lapel but is in otherwise very good condition. The dark blue skirt is in very good condition with a few loose threads. The white apron has the BDM swastika emblem centered on the upper portion of the apron. The corresponding white hat has the Lebensrune or the rune for life centered on the front of the hat. Both apron and hat are in excellent condition. Purchased at a local house sale with no provenance. Age and authenticity are unknown. See photos.

WWII German Hitler Youth BDM uniform jacket. Bund Deutscher Mädel or League of German Girls was the girl version of the Hitler Youth and only legal organization for young girls. Jacket is in excellent condition with all sleeve patches. Hanging loop on the inside neck is ripped but that appears to be the only flaw. Measures 17" from shoulder to shoulder and 17" from shoulder to bottom.

WWII German navy wool lined leather coveralls. These were used by U-boat crews and by other navy personnel. They were also used by Luftwaffe flight crew members and motorcycle drivers. Zippers are missing some teeth but seem to function. See photos. Buttons are still in place and it has original tags on the inner liner. Item is in very good condition considering its age. WWII German political leader great coat. This is produced in smooth olive brown wool. There is some minor wear, discoloration and very minor tracking. There are hip pockets with angled flaps. It is double breasted with 6 rows of early silver finished pebbled metal political buttons. There are French cuffs and a light brown badge cloth collar. The lapels are also light brown badge cloth. The interior is fully lined in gold rayon. Very clean with minor wear. There are a few holes in the lining. Large size. All buttons present and marked "M 5/25 20 1/2". Comes with certificate of authenticity stating this coat was made pre 1945 by Bill Shea.

Named to Capt. O.W. Davidson. Med Det. 161 FA 35th Infantry Division. The 35th Infantry Division was in England in 1944 then France, and Belgium Till the end of the war. This lot contains the carry case with its original hardware and canvas straps in good used condition. Only small stains and scuffs no rips or tears. There are a couple loose threads but other wise good used condition. Inside the carry satchel there are 3 WWII Maps of France and England. There is a guide book for Paris and a medical notebook. Comes with a few pencils with unknown vintage. Additionally there is a 'map 'L' ruler.' Case has a plastic carry pocket on the inside where it seems the fabric separated from the plastic on one edge. All snaps and buttons work. Front of satchel has 'Capt. O.W. Davidson. Med. Det. 161 F.A." Hand written on it. Measures 11.5"x5.5"x1.5" See Photos

Comes with a box full of lettered dividers, Marvel 2 hole hole-punch, 2 ink wells and a Corona Standard portable typewriter in black carrying case. Hole puncher is cast iron and works perfectly. Typewriter is in great working condition and has been very well kept. Typewriter also has its own shelf in the desk that holds it securely as you move the desk. Desk itself has 2 pull out drawers and 3 areas for storage. Door is strong when opened and has 2 small ink well holders. Key for the lock is included. Overall very nice to excellent condition field desk. Perfect for WWII reenacting! Measures 29.5"W x 24.5"T x 16"D.

The K-13 is an adjustable gun sight that was used on .50 cal machine guns that calculated the adjustments needed for hitting a target depending on altitude, speed, and elevation. George" near the fuel input. Stove shows signs of use but is in good condition. Manual has a few dirt spots on the cover but all pages are legible. See photos.

This lot contains a military issued lantern dated 1967. This comes from the wartime period of Vietnam. The bottom of the lantern is marked 'US AFM 1967.' The lantern itself is in good overall condition. Some paint chipping near the base. Deep olive drab green in color. With yellow instructional label still in tact. All pieces of the lantern appear to be there including both the cap for the spare mantle compartment and the fuel funnel with original chain and key ring. Untested but appears to be in working order. Glass is complete with no cracks or chips. Measures approx 15" tall and approx 7" across at it widest. See photos.

Good used condition. There are stains present throughout the item. The back reads 'Bauer U.S.N.' Pockets are labeled for specific survival items. 'Dye markers, Signal, Co2 Holder, and Shark chaser.' The PRC-25 model was later replaced by the PRC-77 with the biggest difference being the 77 used transistors and allowed for voice encryption while the 25 was vacuum tube and did not allow voice encryption. This transceiver comes with the backpack as well as 2 foldable antennas and telephone in a side pouch. Front label/tag is missing on this. Overall in good condition but untested. Operator manual states: Department of the Army, November 1965 - Excellent shape. Great for reenacting.

Lot of 2 WWII US BC-611 (SCR-536) Handie-Talkies or the first Walkie-Talkie. Developed in 1940, this transceiver was one of the best radios of the war. Small, compact and easy to use, the SCR-536 was given to US troops during the D-Day landing and was respected by German troops after capturing some in Sicily. Lot comes with 2 radios and 2 home made battery packs, each part being labeled "6 CP 1" or "6 CP 6". Both radios have antennas and buttons appear to be working. Paint is worn on the radios but overall good condition. See photos.

Named WWI Vet Lot, Read Description

Lot #2303c (Sale Order 537 of 647)

Named WWI US vet lot that contains post cards, photos, letters and some bibles. Named to Clayton A. Hightower. Clayton has photos from his visit to France, some of photos of himself with his uniform on, and letters and post cards to his wife while he was in Europe fighting. Some letters are post WWI and dated 1921. Many letters and postcards list Clayton's day such as what he ate and general conversations. Along with letters are his original suicide note with some newspaper cut outs detailing it. Clayton has stated in his note he was going mad due to the Night and Day bank being a possible failure, where he had despots. He cut his wrist with a razor and died at age 38. This was in 1922 during the start of the Great Depression. A sad ending to this Great War vet. Letters and postcards are all thought to be written by him with photos of his wife and himself with some friends and possibly his children. See photos.

Camp Robinson unit photo of Company B, 107th Medical Regiment from Arkansas. Camp Robinson was reestablished in 1940 with training in medical and infantry tactics. After Pearl Harbor, the camp rapidly expanded to 44000 acres that would house multiple hospitals, chapels, and even German POW's. Photo is from the unit in November 1942. One solider has listed in blue ink himself and others on the photo. Photo has been rolled but is in very good condition.
