Up for auction a very large selection of quality indian artifacts and arrowheads from across the country. Included are over 360 lots of Northeastern material including a large selection from Pennsylvania and New England as well as an additional 125+ lots of quality Central States, Midwestern and California artifacts/Native American crafts.
All artifacts within this auction are guaranteed by the consignors to be legally obtained and found on private property.
The auction consists of a large selection of quality stone tools, axes, celts, pendants, bannerstones, large frames of arrowheads and large group offerings, Iroquoian artifacts, trade beads, clay pipes, stone pipes and more. The auction will include group lots and individual lots as well as items for beginner collectors and high-end collectors.
This auction consists of artifacts from several well-known PA collections including Baier, Enders, George, Hallman, Hoffman.
The majority of Titus Ender’s collection is included in this auction. Titus’ collection consists of 90% personal finds within and around the area of Halifax, PA area. Titus began hunting the area in the 1940's and has since amassed quite a large collection! Titus and his family decided it was time to share the collection with others and consigned it to us.
Mr. Baier collection consists of artifacts from across the country with a specific interest in PA, NY and New England artifacts. Bob professionally framed the majority of his collection and therefore the artifacts were kept wired to the boards for the auction. Bob also has an interest in Native American historical and contemporary Native American crafts and pieces.
Mr. Hoffman was a long time resident in Berks County PA where he hunted artifacts for many years. He then moved to the Dauphin PA area where he continued collecting. Mr. Hoffman’s collection consists of personal finds with his favorite piece a stunning jasper perkiomen included in this sale.
Mr. Hallman has amassed an incredible collection consisting of both personal finds and purchases over his long time of collecting. A large portion of his collection is from the Berks County region.
Pat Hueter collected for 30+ years within the Lower Susquehanna River around the area of Muddy Creek, Bare Island, Boeckel Landing. She hunted the shorelines of the river and islands when the river was drawn and/or low. This is the first woman-found collection that I have encountered which is just incredible! She did have a cabin at Raystown Lake which she also found a few points in the area (marked on one of the boards). The collection was consigned by her husband and daughter that desire to keep her memory alive within the collecting community through her artifacts.
Mr. George has been looking for artifacts since his father and mother introduced him to the fantastic world of collecting artifacts back in 1969. His Grandfather started collecting beginning in 1898. He had a keen interest in the culture of the indigenous people and had amassed an incredible collection of stone relics. Sadly, he gave his entire collection to an Archeologist friend in the 1930’s, who subsequently sold the collection. Thankfully, collecting artifacts carried on through Barry's life until this past spring when due to some health concerns, Barry has decided to give his collection to his son. His son has decided to auction some of the collection to further his education.
