MAKE SURE they put your name somewhere on the correspondence so we can correlate the two! We get a heck of a lot of FFL's after an auction, you are not the only one who bought a gun! There is a $10 transfer fee on all firearms to help maintain keeping the books. We accept C&R Licenses, a question of age, the burden falls on you, the C&R. The auction will move at a rapid pace so please don't wait for the last minute to place your bids as you may miss out on that lot. THIS ONE IS HUUUUGE! If you leave a PRE-BID we DO NOT see your max bid. NONE of the 3 platforms talk or share information with each other. Just because your max bid was $60 and you were winning at $30, $40 on another site, $50 your in, then we ask for $60. WELL.... it won't automatically run you up... and we get $60 on another site, your out and that's the way the ball bounced. There is nothing we can do to resolve this. MY ADVICE for what it's worth... Bid one more increment just in case. Who want's to lose by one bid or even worse, by a tie for the same price!

RARE Burgess Gun Co Slide Action Shotgun 12 Gauge Lot #17 (Sale Order 17 of 498) Up Next We Have a Rare & Unusual American designed Burgess Slide Action Takedown Shotgun Chambered in 12 Gauge This is an exceptional example of a Burgess slide action shotgun with the Damascus pattern barrel. Action is most unusual with its sliding wrist & trigger group pump action, The takedown system for this shotgun is also unique in that the bbl lug is deeply serrated on each side which corresponds with serrations inside front edges of the frame and is secured in position with a spring loaded latch on right side. Depressing the latch allows the bbl group to be slide to the bottom for removal. Reinstalling is very simply accomplished by mating up the grooves and sliding the bbl home. This shotgun was made by one of America’s most prolific 19th century firearms inventors, Andrew Burgess, who in 1892 established his own company and was in business only until 1899, when his company & patents were purchased by Winchester, apparently as a method of eliminating competition. The unique action of this shotgun, in addition to the most unusual sliding wrist, is further unique in that the magazine tube can only be loaded with the action open. Few of these shotguns were ever produced and are rarely ever found with any orig finish. Features a single bead sight, loose cylinder choke, 28" Barrel, and length of pull 10 1/2 inches. The breechblock cover is marked "BURGESS GUN CO./BUFFALO, N.Y. U.S.A." The underside of the receiver has the early serial number 1972. The forearm and pistol grip feature multi-point checkering. The buttstock is fitted with a factory dog head embossed checkered hard rubber buttplate.

Mfg Date 1918. This pistol includes one period correct magazine. All Visible Numbers matching, except for the Magazine. This is a 1918 dated Imperial Luger manufactured by the Royal Arsenal at Erfurt. The 1918 Chamber date is the last year of production by Erfurt as the war ended. This is a 9mm Parabellum with a 3 3/4" barrel. Just like it came from the battlefield of WWI. The right side of the receiver displays all the Imperial Army acceptance stamps. Erfurt's were always very heavily proofed; a delight to study. The Erfurt's are the most proofed models of Parabellum. There are inspector marks all over the weapon in a variety of crowed stamps. Proof marks are well-struck and clearly visible. Serial numbers are everywhere. This is an excellent example of the hard-to-find late War 1918 dated Erfurt Imperial Parabellum and built by the Royal Erfurt Arsenal for the Imperial Army. This would make a great addition for any collector!

Johnson Automatic Model 1941 Semi Auto Rifle Lot #27 (Sale Order 27 of 498) This is a nice scarce example of a WWII Model 1941 Johnson Semi-Automatic Rifle. This rifle was seriously considered by the U.S. Army and Marine Corps as an alternative to the M1 Garand Rifle in 1941. Although the Army never officially adopted the Johnson rifle, after the fall of the Dutch East Indies to Japan in 1942, some of the Dutch contract rifles were obtained by the Marine Corps as a war expedient model that were subsequently issued to the Marine Parachute and Raider Battalions for use in the early island hopping campaign in the South Pacific in 1943. The Johnson rifle has several unique features, two of them being that they have a removable barrel for easy storage in a parachute jump bag and the second being that their rotary magazine, which held ten rounds, could be easily topped off with either single or multiple rounds before or during a battle; something that the M1 Garand rifle did not have the capability to do. The receiver is marked with the standard five line patent dates followed by the four line "JOHNSON AUTOMATICS/MODEL OF 1941" logo, address and the serial number "B5146". The barrel flange is correctly marked ".30-06" above the barrel and "41" below it. A circled five-pointed star and "CRANSTON/ARMS/CO." in a triangle are marked on the right side of the receiver below the rear sight. The rear sight is correctly marked "M2" on the left side with the calibrations correctly marked in meters on the right side. This rifle is complete with a WWII style unmarked web sling with steel keepers.

Vintage Ordnance FP-45 Liberator .45 ACP Pistol Lot #36 (Sale Order 36 of 498) Up Next We Have a Cool Vintage Ordnance FP-45 Liberator .45 ACP Pistol That Comes in The Original Wax Box. Underside of barrel reads: "FP-45 .45 ACP Made By Vintage Ordnance, Voco. E-Town , KY. Early Serial # 110 The Original Design of This pistol had its origins in the US Army Joint Psychological Committee and was designed for the United States Army in 1942 by the Inland Guide Lamp Manufacturing Division of the General Motors Corporation in Dayton, Ohio. The army designated the weapon the Flare Projector Caliber .45 hence the designation FP-45, which was done to disguise the fact that a pistol was being mass produced. The original engineering drawings label the barrel as "tube", the trigger as "yoke", the firing pin as "control rod", and the trigger guard as "spanner". The Guide Lamp Division plant in Anderson, Indiana assembled nearly one million of these weapons. The Liberator project took about 6 months from conception to end of production with about 11 weeks of actual manufacturing time, done by 300 workers. The FP-45 was a crude, single-shot pistol designed to be cheaply and quickly mass produced. The Liberator had just 23 largely stamped and turned steel parts that were cheap and easy to manufacture. It fired a .45 caliber pistol cartridge from an unrifled barrel. Due to the unrifled barrel, it was intended for very close ambush (1-4 m) its maximum effective range was only about 25 feet (less than 8 m). At longer range, the bullet would begin to tumble and stray off course. Because of the low quality, it was nicknamed the "Woolworth gun." The Liberator was shipped in a cardboard box with 10 rounds of .45 ACP ammunition, a wooden dowel to remove the empty cartridge case, and an instruction sheet in comic strip form showing how to load and fire the weapon. Extra rounds of ammunition could be stored in the pistol grip.- After production, the Army turned the Liberators over to the OSS. A crude and clumsy weapon, the Liberator was never intended for front line service. It was originally intended as an insurgency weapon to be mass dropped behind enemy lines to resistance fighters in occupied territory. A resistance fighter was to recover the weapon, sneak up on an Axis occupier, kill or incapacitate him, and retrieve his weapons. The weapon was valued as much for its psychological warfare effect as its actual field performance. It was believed that if vast quantities of these weapons could be delivered into Axis occupied territory; it would have a devastating effect on the morale of occupying troops.

Chinese Triangular Spike SKS Bayonet Lot #47 (Sale Order 47 of 498) Chinese Triangular Spike SKS Bayonet, Measures Approx 16" Overall Length "The SKS (Russian: ???????????? ??????? ??????? ????????, romanized: Samozaryadny Karabin sistemy Simonova, 1945, Self-loading Carbine of (the) Simonov system, 1945) is a semi-automatic carbine chambered for the 7.62×39mm round, designed in 1943 by Sergei Gavrilovich Simonov. A reliable, simply designed, and relatively inexpensive weapon, the SKS was first produced in the Soviet Union but later widely exported and manufactured by various nations. Its distinguishing characteristics include a permanently attached folding bayonet and a hinged, fixed magazine. As the SKS lacked select-fire capability and its magazine was limited to ten rounds, it was rendered obsolete in the Soviet Armed Forces by the introduction of the AK-47 in the 1950s. Nevertheless, SKS carbines continued to see service with the Soviet Border Troops, Internal Troops, and second-line and reserve army units for decades. The SKS was manufactured at Tula Arsenal from 1945 to 1958, and at the Izhevsk Arsenal from 1953 to 1954, resulting in a total Soviet production of about 2.7 million carbines. Throughout the Cold War, millions of additional SKS carbines and their derivatives were also manufactured under license in the People’s Republic of China, as well as a number of countries allied with the Eastern Bloc. The SKS was exported in vast quantities and found favour with insurgent forces around the world as a light, handy weapon which was adequate for guerrilla warfare despite its conventional limitations. Beginning in the 1980s, a number were also sold on the civilian market in North America, where they remain popular as hunting and sporting rifles".

MINT Fabrique Nationale FN 49 Battle Rifle 8MM Lot #87 (Sale Order 87 of 498) Up Next We Have a Mint example of an FN Model 1949 Battle Rifle that was part of an Egyptian Military Contract. The FN49 was designed by the Belgian manufacturer Fabrique Nationale before WWII; however, plans to produce the semi-automatic rifle were abandoned when the Germans occupied Belgium. Many FN engineers fled to England during the war and returned to Belgium when it was liberated by the allies in 1944. With their return to Belgium these engineers revitalized their plans for what would eventually become the FN49 (also known as the SAFN short for “semi-automatic FN”). While the FN49 was high quality in its time, it saw limited production and use because it did not come into production until after WWII and it eventually had to compete with the popular HK G3 and FN FAL rifles which utilized more modern technology. The FN49 was produced for 8 primary contracts. This particular rifle was produced for the second contract which brought 37,641 FN49 rifles to Egypt in 1949. Many rifles in this contract were used in Suez Crisis in 1956. As with all Egyptian contract FN49s, this rifle is chambered for 7.92x57mm Mauser.

MAS Mle 1949-56 7.5 French Service Rifle Lot #111 (Sale Order 111 of 498) A Nice example of a early French MAS 49/56 semi-automatic rifle. The side of the receiver is marked "MAS Mle, 1949-56" over CAL. 7.5 along with a French boxed "P83" proof mark. These rifles were that last version of the French 49 series of semi-automatic rifles. They used a ten shot box magazine with an integral flash hider on the end of the barrel that also served as a grenade launcher. The top of the barrel directly behind the front sight has an integral flip-up grenade launcher sight that is calibrated to 100 meters. The MAS-1949/56 has shorter barrel and shorter handguards to save weight and made weapon more maneuverable. The grenade launching sights were moved to the barrel, and the gas cutoff switch is mounted at the front of the handguards above the barrel and cannot be engaged when grenade sight is lowered out of use. The barrel is equipped with combination muzzle brake / grenade launching device. Like the MAS-1949, all MAS-1949/56 rifles have the scope rails on the left side of the receiver, and thus could be used as a designated marksmen rifles at the distances up to 600 meters or so. The standard optical sight was APX L Modele 1953 telescope with 3.85X magnification. This Rifle Comes With a Leather Sling and Recoil Pad. Overall in Great Wartime Condition.

Johnson Automatic Model 1941 Semi Auto Rifle Lot #129 (Sale Order 129 of 498) This is a scarce example of a WWII Model 1941 Johnson Semi-Automatic Rifle. The receiver is marked with the standard five line patent dates followed by the four line "JOHNSON AUTOMATICS/MODEL OF 1941" logo, address and the serial number "A5663". This rifle is complete with an American Rifleman Parts Diagram and Other Literature.

Chinese Triangular Spike SKS Bayonet Lot #155 (Sale Order 155 of 498) Chinese Triangular Spike SKS Bayonet, Measures Approx 16" Overall Length "The SKS (Russian: ???????????? ???????

From then onwards, there were four ranks: Grand Cross, First Class, Commander, Knight. Until 18 July 1884, the award of the order also entitled the recipient, if he was not already of that standing, to be raised to the following appointments and/or ranks of the nobility:

Original Rare Bavarian M-1869 Werder Single Shot Lot #186 (Sale Order 186 of 498) Up Next is an Original Rare Bavarian M-1869 Werder Single Shot "Bavarian Lightning" Pistol in 11.5mm, Serial 315, These pistols are really like hen's teeth: so very hard to find. Introduced April 18th 1869 and adopted as the Model 1869. Designed by JOHANN LUDWIG WERDER based on the Peabody and Martini Henry, the action of this rifle is truly fascinating. Equipped with "Opposed" triggers and a cocking lever mounted above the action. The forward "backward" trigger lowers the sloping block like any Martini system. The Cocking lever, mounted in a block above the receiver to the rear cocks the Rifle and the standard trigger discharges the cartridge. In fact an extremely rapid process so much so that this rifle became known as the BAVARIAN LIGHTNING pistol. Bavaria had allied itself to Austria in the 1866 European war against Prussia but had then allied itself to Prussia for the 1870 Franco-Prussian War. After France's swift defeat there followed the Confederation of German States in 1871, which under Bismarck ruled that all States should standardize on to ammunition used by the Prussians. This pistol then faded away after a very short service life. It had not been used much previously due to the heavy weight, and very large size. It also was already outdated, as cartridge revolvers were already in service when it was first developed.

U.S. WWI Model 1918 Mark I Trench Knife by L.F.&C Lot #197 (Sale Order 197 of 498) U.S. WWI Model 1918 Mark I Trench Knife by L.F. & C with Matching Scabbard; The U.S. Model 1918 Mark I Trench Knife was the second major Knuckle Knife to be officially adopted and issued to the US military. It was developed for use in the horrific trench warfare that typified the stalemate on the Western Front during the latter part of World War One and saw use not only there, but during World War Two as well. The knife was manufactured in the United States by Henry Disston & Sons (H.D. & S.) as well as Landers, Frary & Clark (L.F. & C.) and Oneida Community Ltd (O.C.L.). The knives were also produced in France and are marked with the usual 1918 and US marks, as well as Au Lion on the blade. Whether this mark was a maker’s mark or simply a motto is not known. The U.S. M-1918 Mark I Trench Knife is easily identifiable due to its large brass knuckle style guard and grip. The knives were 11 ¾ in overall length, with a 6 ¾ dagger style blade. The brass grips were marked U.S. 1918 and with the makers name or initials. Refer to pictures, great Trench knife and Scabbard

However, for several years following the war, the Allied powers forbade any manufacture of weapons in Germany. As a result, in 1952, Walther licensed production of the PP series pistols to Manurhin who manufactured the PP series until 1986. In fact, all postwar European-made PP series pistols manufactured until 1986 were manufactured by Manurhin, even though the pistol slide may bear the markings of the Walther factory in Ulm.

Original Romanian AK-47 AKM Type I Bayonet Lot #223 (Sale Order 223 of 498) Up Next We Have a Original Romanian AK-47 AKM Type I Bayonet, With Sheath. The AKM rifle was introduced in 1959. Among other things, the updated AK47 variant included a bayonet lug. Much easier and cheaper to manufacture than the AK47, production and use of the AKM went worldwide. The inclusion of a bayonet lug allowed for a more conventional bayonet. However, the new bayonet design, what we refer to as the AKM Type I, was far from conventional. It was as groundbreaking as the Kalashnikov itself. It incorporated a number of features, making for an incredibly versatile bayonet. The one-piece molded plastic grip & pommel; and stainless steel blade made the bayonet impervious to rust and rot. The unfullered clip-point blade had sawteeth along the spine. The steel scabbard body had a lug at the point that engaged a window cut into the blade, so that bayonet and scabbard could be combined as a wire cutter. The scabbard body had a rubber insulator, making it safe to cut electrified wire. The belt hanger was a clip-on affair that was cheap and easy to replace. The AK47 bayonet was produced by: Bulgaria, China, East Germany, Indonesia, North Korea, Poland, Romania and Russia.

The Army Distinguished Service Cross is equivalent to the Navy and Marine Corps' Navy Cross, the Air Force and Space Force's Air Force Cross, and the Coast Guard Cross. Prior to the creation of the Air Force Cross in 1960, airmen were awarded the Distinguished Service Cross.
The Distinguished Service Cross was first awarded during World War I. In addition, a number of awards were bestowed for actions which took place before World War I. In many cases, the medal was awarded to soldiers who had received a Certificate of Merit for gallantry; at the time, this certificate was the only other honor for gallantry the Army could present to combatants in lieu of a Medal of Honor. Others were furnished in belated recognition of actions which occurred in the Philippine–American War, during the Boxer Rebellion, and Pancho Villa Expedition.
The Distinguished Service Cross is distinct from the Distinguished Service Medal, which is awarded to Army soldiers in recognition of exceptionally meritorious service to the government of the United States in a duty of great responsibility. The Distinguished Service Cross is only awarded for actions in combat, while the Distinguished Service Medal has no such restriction.

H&R U.S. Model 1873 Officers Model Rifle .45-70 Lot #225 (Sale Order 225 of 498) Harrington & Richardson U.S. Model 1873 Officers Model Rifle, Serial #6596, Chambered in .45-70 cal., 26'' barrel, blue finish, walnut stock. Mfg'd in the early to mid-1970s. Overall Condition is excellent. The Trapdoor Springfield was the first standard-issue breech-loading rifle adopted by the United States Army. The rifle, in both full-length and carbine versions, was widely used in subsequent battles against the American Indians. The Model 1873 was the fifth variation of the trapdoor design, and was named for its hinged breechblock, (which opened like a trapdoor). It is a breech-loading, single shot rifle, chambered for the massive 45-70 Gov’t cartridge. This rifle saw service most notable in the Indian Wars, the Spanish–American War, and the Philippine–American War. The 1873 continued to be the main service rifle of the U.S. Military until it was gradually replaced by the Springfield model 1892 bolt-action rifle. This rifle is a replica of the Officers Model Trapdoor, and was made as a Centennial Commemorative by Harrington & Richardson.

Chinese Triangular Spike SKS Bayonet Lot #257 (Sale Order 257 of 498) Chinese Triangular Spike SKS Bayonet, Measures Approx 16" Overall Length "The SKS (Russian: ???????????? ???????

German War Merit Cross 2nd Class Medal Lot #314 (Sale Order 314 of 498) German War Merit Cross 2nd Class Medal This award was created by Adolf Hitler in 1939 as a successor to the non-combatant Iron Cross which was used in earlier wars (same medal but with a different ribbon). The award was graded the same as the Iron Cross: War Merit Cross Second Class, War Merit Cross First Class, and Knights Cross of the War Merit Cross. The award had two variants: with swords given to soldiers for exceptional service in battle above and beyond the call of duty (but not worthy of an Iron Cross which was more a bravery award), and without swords for meritorious service behind the lines which could also be awarded to civilians. Recipients had to have the lower grade of the award before getting the next level. There was also another version below the 2nd class simply called the War Merit Medal (German: Kriegsverdienstmedaille)

Astra Modelo 1921 400 Experimental model 9mm/38 Lot #318 (Sale Order 318 of 498) Up Next We Have a Astra Modelo 1921 (400) Experimental model Semi Auto Pistol Chambered in 9MM Largo/ .38 ACP Experimental models with the barrel marked '9mm/38' is indicating it was made with/converted to a compromise bolt face that will accept either the 9mm Largo cartridge or the .38 ACP (not Super) cartridge. It Comes With a Leather Holster, Overall it is in Good Condition for it's age, Matching Serial Numbers 100149, Original Checkered Wood Grips. The Astra modelo 400 was a Spanish service pistol produced by weapons manufacturer Astra-Unceta y Cia SA. as a replacement for the Campo-Giro 1913/1916, which had also been chambered in 9mm Largo. It was the standard issue sidearm in the Spanish Army during the Spanish Civil War and also saw service in Germany during World War II. The Astra Model 1921 pistol was adopted in 1921-23 as the standard pistol of the Spanish armed forces and police. It was an unusual design in that, although chambered for the powerful 9mm Largo cartridge, it operated on the blowback system - i.e. with an unlocked breech. It achieved this by the employment of very strong recoil spring (which coils around the barrel) and a heavy slide. The Model 1921 (sold commercially as the Model 400) was produced until 1946. It armed both sides in the Spanish Civil War and 6,000 were purchased by Germany during the Second World War.

More From the Internet Below: The Star Model BM is a single-action semi-automatic pistol that fires the 9 mm Para pistol cartridge. It was produced by Star Bonifacio Echeverria, S.A. in Spain. Although its external appearance resembles the classic M1911, its design is different in several respects. For example, the Star does not have the 1911's grip safety. In addition, the thumb safety on the Star disengages the sear, whereas it blocks the motion of the sear on a 1911. The pistol is fed by an 8-round detachable box magazine.

Mint FNH Belgium Browning Hi-Power Semi Auto 9MM Lot #360 (Sale Order 360 of 498) Up Next we have a FN Belgium Browning Hi-Power Semi Auto Pistol Chambered in 9MM, Serial 245PZ53408, Dates to 1981 and Comes with one Magazine, and this Pistol is in Mint Condition, The right side of the slide is marked “Made in Belgium BY FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL” and with Belgian proofs. It is based on a design by American firearms inventor John Browning, and completed by Dieudonné Saive at Fabrique Nationale (FN) of Herstal, Belgium. Browning died in 1926, several years before the design was finalized. The Hi-Power is one of the most widely used military pistols in history, having been used by the armed forces of over 50 countries. After 82 years of continuous production, the Hi-Power was finally discontinued in 2017. The Hi Power name alludes to the 13-round magazine capacity, almost twice that of contemporary designs such as the Luger or Colt M1911. The pistol is often referred to as an HP (for "Hi-Power" or "High-Power"), GP (for the French term, "Grande Puissance") BAP (Browning Automatic Pistol) or BHP (Browning High-Power). The terms P-35 and HP-35 are also used, based on the introduction of the pistol in 1935. It is most often called the "Hi Power", even in Belgium.

The decoration was conferred from 1939 until 1945[5] in three classes: bronze, silver, and gold,to Reichsdeutsche mothers who exhibited probity, exemplary motherhood, and who conceived and raised at least four or more children in the role of a parent.[7][8] A similar practice, that continues to this present day, was already established in France since 1920, by conferring the Médaille de la Famille française (Medal of the French Family), a tribute to the French mother who raised several children in an appropriate way.

Mitchells Mausers Model 48 Premium Grade 8MM Lot #429 (Sale Order 429 of 498) Up Next We Have a Mitchells Mausers Model 48 Premium Grade Rifle Chambered in 8MM, and Comes in The Factory Box With Bayonet, Pouch, Sling, Paperwork and COA. A genuine Mauser 98, the Model M48 is a strong, good example the original bolt-action Rifles. Made on German Tooling set up in formerly occupied Serbia. Military-New condition with clean, Bright Bores, and solid stocks, with an American Owner’s Manual covering history, operation, and safety. “Military-New” means it is ready for you; cleaned and tested to assure safety and your satisfaction. Maintained Combat-Ready (and it still is) for over 50 years, now it can be yours. Original Factory matching serial numbers on all rifle parts. Some people may be getting the mistaken impression that these rifles were manufactured by Germans during the occupation. That is not the case. These rifles were manufactured with German and FN technology in Serbia after the people had driven the Germans out of Yugoslavia. This is an important distinction, because that is one of the reasons why the Model 48 is recognized as an excellent example of the Mauser 98 Karbine type military rifle. The factory in Serbia was not bombed, like the German factories during the war. The factory in Serbia had a good supply of raw materials. And the Model 48 was produced by free people, instead of forced labor. All of which resulted in an excellent rifle in its own right, as well as an interesting piece of history.

Chinese Triangular Spike SKS Bayonet Lot #455 (Sale Order 455 of 498) Chinese Triangular Spike SKS Bayonet, Measures Approx 16" Overall Length "The SKS (Russian: ???????????? ???????

German War Merit Cross 2nd Class Medal Lot #464 (Sale Order 464 of 498) German War Merit Cross 2nd Class Medal This award was created by Adolf Hitler in 1939 as a successor to the non-combatant Iron Cross which was used in earlier wars (same medal but with a different ribbon).

Original Danish M1867 Remington Rolling Block Lot #486 (Sale Order 485 of 498) Up Next We Have an Antique Original Danish M1867 Remington Rolling Block, The Danes elected to license the Remington design for manufacture in Denmark at the Copenhagen arsenal, which they did in a fairly large quantity. The Danish model first utilized a rimfire cartridge and that stayed in service well into the smokeless era. However, with the adoption of the 8mm M1889 Krag-Jorgensen the need to update or abandon the Remington became acute. In 1896 they were withdrawn from infantry service, converted to centerfire cartridge and issued to coast and fortress artillerymen. At that time a new much longer rear ladder sight was also fitted to the rifles. This rifle features a 3.25" long backsight leaf. Left receiver flat is stamped with a Crown over the royal cypher over the mark M-1867. The right receiver wall is bare and the upper tang is marked Kjobenhavns Toihuus 1875 (Copenhagen Arsenal) I Believe This is Chambered in 11.7x51R.

Chinese Triangular Spike SKS Bayonet Lot #497 (Sale Order 496 of 498) Chinese Triangular Spike SKS Bayonet, Measures Approx 16" Overall Length "The SKS (Russian: ???????????? ???????
